The Great Feast
The Smiling Critters are excited to raid the kitchen and eat as much as they can. They find a lot of cake and start eating it all. After eating the cake, the critters experience a massive sugar rush, feeling energised and overly affectionate.
CatNap's Annoyance
CatNap finds the other critters' behaviour annoying. The critters want to play with CatNap, constantly following him and asking questions. CatNap tries to take a nap, but the critters keep waking him up with their antics and endless questions about life and death. They give him a makeover, and he looks like a pretty girl.
The Playdate
CatNap reluctantly agrees to play with the critters to stop them from crying. They make him read them a story and continue to pester him with questions, preventing him from sleeping. CatNap becomes increasingly desperate to escape their constant attention.
The Sugar Rush Crisis
CatNap hides from the critters and discovers the empty cake container, realising the massive sugar rush could be dangerous. He knows they need to burn off the energy or they might explode. He decides to help them by suggesting they play tag.
Burning Off the Sugar
CatNap initiates a game of tag to help the critters burn off their excess energy. He then helps Bobby Bearhug, who is stuck in a high place. He encourages them to race, and eventually, the critters start to feel sick and the sugar rush wears off. They apologise for being annoying, and CatNap tells them no more midnight snacks.
