Recruit Mercs

The video reviews recruit mercenaries, starting with Bobby Guntariski, a slow but tanky mechanic with high HP and the ability to fling enemies. He is best suited for close to medium-range combat due to his low agility and dexterity, but decent mechanical skills. Fox is a doctor who excels in combat, with high dexterity and Marksmanship, allowing her to initiate fights effectively and interrupt attacks. However, she has a small inventory. Mouse is a sneaky sniper with low Marksmanship that can be improved with training, and comes with a decent medical skill. Omryn is a medium-range Marksman with high Marksmanship and circular OverWatch, effective with burst fire, but is claustrophobic. Live Wire is a mechanic with map Intel, good sneak, agility and dexterity, but bad Marksmanship. She has high mechanical skill and a decent medical skill. Kalina is a jack-of-all-trades mechanic with decent combat skills and leadership, effective as a hybrid medium-range assault/sniper. Mr. MD is a medical expert with high wisdom, capable of learning quickly and providing team boosts, but lacks combat skills. Igor Dulwich is a versatile, cheap mercenary effective in close to medium-range combat, with high health and strength, and is naturally stealthy. Grizzly is the recruit for heavy weapons, excelling in close combat with machine guns and melee attacks, but lacks stealth and utility. Barry is a low-cost explosive expert with decent Marksmanship, dexterity, wisdom, HP, and strength, making him versatile with explosives and shotguns.

Veteran Mercs

The video continues with veteran mercenaries, starting with Grunty, a tanky frontliner with average stats but excels in open combat with heavy weaponry due to extra HP and grit. Buns is a sniper with high Marksmanship, dexterity, and wisdom, gaining accuracy on already hit targets, and has negotiator and teaching skills. Meltdown is a versatile close-quarters fighter with skills for all guns, decent explosive skill, extra action points, and HP, fitting any team gap. Blood is a special Marksman who is a knife thrower, sneaky, good at melee, and has breach and clear, making him a versatile close-range fighter. Ice is an excellent automatic weapons operator with good Marksmanship skills, the ability to shoot five times at one target, and falls prone when hit. Mr. Wolf is a strategic all-rounder, faster at all operations, good at mechanics, explosives, and medical, but not exceptional in any area. Thor Kaufman is a powerful doctor with high medical skill, stealthy, and grants grit medicine, becoming inspired when suffering negative effects. Raven has an overpowered OverWatch skill and formidable Marksmanship, making her a very good sniper but not versatile. Fidel is an explosive expert with a psycho knack, high explosive skill, good at close and mid-ranged combat, and can throw two grenades at a time.

Elite Mercs

The video proceeds to elite mercenaries, beginning with Hitman Hennessy, a sniper with a tanky attitude, excelling in medium-range combat with focused trade and grit when not moving. Red is an explosive expert similar to Fidel but less costly, with better ranged combat, retaliates with grenades, and is good with shotguns and medium-range weaponry. Dr. Q is a melee doctor with high medical skill, making enemies fall unconscious and taking a free move after a melee attack. Mr. Nails is a powerful Marksman and damage dealer with mechanical and explosive skills, good at melee, and excels at getting into the face of enemies. Mr. Tex is an amazing Marksman specializing in pistols, with a ranged attack in a cone and free OverWatch, and is biased towards using pistols. Raider is the cheapest professional leader with high leadership skill, extra accuracy shooting at stuff in OverWatch, and is a solid rounded choice. Vicky repairs stuff for free and gains damage and crit chance on fully modified firearms, good at mechanics and throwing stuff. Ivan Dulwich is a powerhouse for Russia, extremely good at everything involved in killing, with stats all over the board, regains action points after a kill, and is good with automatic weapons.

Legendary Mercs

The video concludes with legendary mercenaries, starting with Len, who provides decent leadership and has explosive, medical, and mechanical skills, forcing a shot at everybody in range and gaining extra XP to the squad. Fauda is a heavy weapons expert, good at mechanical, explosives, and leadership, gaining grit when hitting multiple enemies and boosting the iron clad trait. The Scope is good at long-range fighting with better accuracy from High Ground. Shadow is a super stealthy guy, good up close, with high stats, and is meant for stealth killing and melee fighting. Mr. Nettleson is a very good shot, decent leader, gains extra aims at his first attack each turn, and is meant to be a sniper but also good with automatic weapons and explosives. Reaper is a solo killer, super sneaky, good at every form of combat, and puts enemies into Panic. Sullivan is a tank maker, providing grit to those next to him, has damage reduction in OverWatch, can interrupt in melee, and is good at every range of combat. Magic is amazing if you can afford him, good at most things, with expertise in mechanical, and is all about attacking from Higher Ground. Mr. Tire Balls gives grit to everybody in the team after a kill, is good with heavy weapons, and has powerful add-ons on leg armored groin shots.
