Tasmi: Surah Al-Baqarah (Verses 17-29)
Ibu Muharidah, accompanied by Ibu Nur Hayati, recites Surah Al-Baqarah starting from verse 17. The recitation includes verses that describe the parable of those who kindle a fire but lose its light, symbolizing the condition of hypocrites. It also covers verses about thunder, lightning, and the fear of death, illustrating Allah's encompassing power. The recitation continues through verse 29.
Surah Al-Baqarah (Verse 21-22)
Verse 21 calls upon humanity to worship the Lord who created them and those before them, so that they may become righteous. Verse 22 describes Allah as the One who made the earth a resting place and the sky a canopy, sending down water from the sky to bring forth fruits as provision. It warns against setting up rivals to Allah while knowing the truth.
Surah Al-Baqarah (Verse 23-24)
If there is doubt about what has been revealed to His servant (Muhammad), then produce a surah like it and call upon witnesses besides Allah if you are truthful. But if you cannot do it, and you will never be able to, then fear the Fire whose fuel is people and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.
Surah Al-Baqarah (Verse 25-26)
Give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds, that they will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And they will be given things resembling each other. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally. Indeed, Allah is not ashamed to present an example—that of a mosquito or what is smaller than it. And those who believe know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What did Allah intend by this example?" He misleads many thereby and guides many thereby. And He misleads not except the defiantly disobedient.
Surah Al-Baqarah (Verse 27-29)
Those who break the covenant of Allah after it has been confirmed and sever that which Allah has ordered to be joined and spread corruption on earth - it is they who are the losers. How can you disbelieve in Allah when you were lifeless and He brought you to life; then He will cause you to die, then He will bring you [back] to life, and then to Him you will be returned. It is He who created for you all of that which is on the earth. Then He directed Himself to the heaven, and He made them seven heavens, and He is Knowing of all things.
Surah Al-Baqarah (Verse 30)
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."
