The 5-Minute Solomon Hack That Multiplies Money (Proverbs 10)

Proverbes 10:22 : La Richesse Sans Chagrin

0:00 Welcome back to the Solomon Wealth Code. There is a myth that pervades our modern world. A lie that whispers, "You must trade your health, your peace, and your time with family just to secure your financial future." We call it the hustle. We call it the grind. But King Solomon, the wealthiest man to ever walk the earth, operated by a completely different operating system. He knew a secret that could multiply resources without subtracting life. Today we are going to dismantle the culture of exhaustion and replace it with the architecture of the blessing. We are going to decode Proverbs 10 22 uncovering the ancient distinction between wealth that destroys and wealth that heals. We will look at the difference between divine multiplication

0:46 and simple human addition. We will walk through the exact 5-minute daily alignment routine that shifts your spirit from anxiety to authority. And we will hear from a modern witness, a man who gave away 90% of his income and still outearned his peers, proving that God's mathematics are not like ours. Stay with me until the very final second of this video because I am going to lead us in a specific prayer for provision. A prayer to break the yoke of toil and release the flow of peace over your finances. You do not want to miss that moment of agreement. Before we dive deep, I want to see where our prayer army is gathered today. Please take a brief moment to write your city or your country in the comments below.

1:33 It is a beautiful thing to see the nations represented here, united in the pursuit of wisdom. Let us begin by confronting the great conflict of our time. We live in an era that celebrates the sleepless night. We applaud the man who works 80 hours a week, even if his marriage is crumbling. We idolize the accumulation of assets regardless of the cost to the soul. But if we look at the biblical record, we see a stark warning against this very lifestyle. The book of Proverbs written by Solomon provides us with a definition of success that is radical and countercultural. In Proverbs 10 22, Solomon writes this profound truth. The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and he adds no sorrow with it. We must pause and deeply

2:19 examine this statement. The world offers a type of richness, but it almost always comes with a hidden tax. We see the lottery winner whose life falls apart within 3 years. We see the executive who has millions in the bank, but requires medication to sleep at night because of stress. We see the celebrity who has everything the world offers but is consumed by a deep hollow loneliness. This is wealth with sorrow. In the Hebrew language, the word used for sorrow in this verse is etsv. This is a heavy word. It implies labor, pain, idol worship, and worry. It is the same root word used in the book of Genesis when God speaks to Adam after the fall, saying that in toil or in sorrow, he would eat from the ground. So when Solomon says that the blessing of the

3:06 Lord adds no sorrow, he is saying that God's wealth is redemptive. It reverses the curse of the fall. It is wealth without the crushing weight of anxiety. Many of us have bored into the lie that if we are not stressed, we are not working hard enough. We believe that anxiety is a sign of responsibility. But Jesus Christ himself challenged this directly in the Gospel of Matthew 6 24. He said, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other." You cannot serve God and Mammon. Mammon is not just money. Mammon is the spirit of greed, the spirit of self-reliance, and the spirit that says you are alone in

3:51 the universe and must claw your way to survival. When you operate under the spirit of mammon, you may gain wealth, but you will inherit sorrow. You will inherit the fear of losing what you have gathered. King Solomon observed this tragedy in Ecclesiastes chapter 2 verse 22 and 23 asking for what has man for all his labor and for the striving of his heart with which he toils under the sun for all his days are sorrowful and his work burdensome even in the night his heart takes no rest. This also is vanity. If you lie awake at night calculating numbers, fearful of the future, replaying scenarios of ruin, you are experiencing the sorrow that comes from striving without the blessing. The

4:37 blessing of the Lord is different. It carries a weight, yes, the weight of glory, but it does not carry the burden of fear. Charles Haden Spurgeon, the great preacher of the 19th century, spoke on this matter. He said that we often worry about tomorrow as if God has resigned from his throne. But the blessing of the Lord is the assurance that the king is still on the throne. True biblical wealth is not just the number in your bank account. It is the peace in your heart while the account grows. It is the ability to enjoy the fruit of your labor. There are many who have the money but not the capacity to enjoy it. That is a specific curse Solomon mentions. But the man or woman walking in the blessing of the Lord has both the provision and the peace [music]

5:24 to partake of it. This is the foundation we must lay. We are not looking for money at any cost. We are seeking the blessing that enriches every part of our lives without subtracting our peace. Now that we understand the goal, let us look at the method. How did Solomon access this sorrow-free wealth? We often think of Solomon as a man born into privilege, the son of King David. While that is true, his specific anointing for wealth did not come from his father. It came from a specific encounter with the living God. The turning point is found in First Kings chapter 3. Solomon had just ascended to the throne. He was young, likely overwhelmed by the magnitude of governing God's chosen people. He went to Gibian to sacrifice.

6:11 And that night, the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream. God gave him a blank check. The Lord said, "Ask, what shall I give you?" This is the ultimate test of the human heart. Most of us, if we are honest, would ask for financial security. We would ask for the elimination of our debts. We would ask for the destruction of our enemies or for long life. These are the natural desires of the flesh. But Solomon did something that unlocked the windows of heaven. Solomon answered, "Therefore give to your servant an understanding heart to judge your people that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of yours?" Solomon did not ask for the output. He asked for the operating

6:57 system. He asked for wisdom. He prioritized the internal capacity to manage over the external accumulation of things. And because this pleased the Lord, look at the response in verse 13. God said, "And I have also given you what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days." This brings us to the core principle of the five-minute hack. It is the principle of priority. The reason Solomon had wealth without sorrow is that he did not chase the wealth. He chased the wisdom of God and the wealth followed him like a loyal servant. When you chase money, it runs away from you or it turns and bites you. When you chase God and his wisdom, money pursues

7:44 you. The famous evangelist Dwight El Moody once said that the world does not see what God can do with a man who is fully consecrated to him. Solomon was consecrated to the purpose of God, not the purpose of gold. Let us define this no sorrow principle deeper. It means that your work becomes an act of worship, not a frantic attempt to survive. When you are operating in this wisdom, you have an intuition about business deals. You have a restraint that keeps you from bad investments. You have a favor that opens doors you could never force open. Consider the story of Isaac in Genesis 26. There was a famine in the land. The natural logic, the logic of the hustle, said to flee to Egypt where the economy was stable. But the Lord told Isaac to stay in the land

8:30 of famine. This made no sense. But Isaac obeyed. Genesis 26:12 says, "Then Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundfold, and the Lord blessed him." Notice the sequence. He obeyed, he worked, and the Lord blessed him. The blessing caused a hundfold return in a time of economic collapse. That is the blessing that adds no sorrow. It defies the market conditions. It defies the logic of the experts. If Isaac had operated by fear, he would have run to Egypt and perhaps survived, but he would have missed the hundfold blessing. The Solomon hack is about positioning yourself where the blessing can land. You cannot catch rain

9:16 if you are running wildly across the field. You must stand still under the open heaven. The sorrow comes when we try to be our own provider. We take the weight of the world on our shoulders. But the shoulders of Jesus Christ famously bore the cross so that we could take his yoke, which is easy, and his burden, which is light. We arrive now at the practical application, the 5-minute daily alignment routine that shifts us from the hustle to the blessing. You might be thinking, how can 5 minutes change my financial destiny? It changes it because it changes the captain of the ship. It adjusts the trajectory. And this routine is based on the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 6:33. But seek first the kingdom of God and

10:03 his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. The key word here is added. But in the kingdom of God, addition often looks like multiplication. When a young boy gave five loaves and two fish to Jesus, the Lord did not just add to it. He multiplied it to feed 5,000 men, plus women and children. This is the difference between human toil and divine favor. Human toil adds. You work an hour, you get paid for an hour. Divine favor multiplies. You work an hour and God gives you a strategy that is worth 10 years of wages. Here is the 5inut routine. I challenge you to do this every single morning before you look at your phone, before you check your emails, before you check the stock

10:48 market or your bank balance. Minute one, surrender the anxiety. You cannot receive wisdom if your hands are full of worry. Spend the first minute explicitly handing over your financial fears to God. Name them. Lord, I give you the mortgage. I give you the tuition bill. Quote first Peter 5:7. Casting all your care upon him for he cares for you. Minute two. Declare the source. Remind your soul who provides. Say out loud, God, you are my CEO. You are my senior partner. I am merely the steward. This breaks the spirit of mammon. It reminds you that you are managing his resources, not yours.

11:35 Minute three, ask for wisdom, not just wealth. Just like Solomon, ask specifically for wisdom for the tasks of that day. Lord, give me wisdom for this meeting. Give me discernment for this purchase. James 1:5 promises, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Minute four, listen. This is the hardest part. Be silent. We are so busy talking to God that we do not let him talk back. Often in that moment of silence, an idea will drop into your spirit. A name to call, a task to prioritize, a bad habit to cut. That small whisper is often the

12:23 seed of the hundfold return. Minute five, thanksgiving in advance. Thank him for the provision that is on the way. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Thank him that the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, was a man who understood the value of time and money. He famously said, "Earn all you can, save all you can, give all you can." But he also spent hours in prayer. He knew that the power to earn came from the time in prayer. If you are too busy to pray, you are too busy to prosper biblically. When you align your morning with this routine, you are inviting the supernatural into the natural. You are moving from the realm of toil where you

13:10 sweat for every crumb to the realm of favor where the land produces for you. The world teaches you to chase the paper. The Solomon code teaches you to chase the purposegiver. When you align with the design of the architect, the building stands strong. When you build in your own strength, the watchman wakes in vain. As we deepen our understanding, we must identify the enemies of this blessing. One of the greatest enemies is what the Bible calls toil. that is self-inflicted. We must look at our budgets and identify areas of toil. These are expenses we incur trying to medicate our sorrow. We buy things we do not need to impress people we do not like. We spend money to fill a void in our soul that only God can fill. This is a leaking bucket. Solomon warns in

13:58 Proverbs 21 17, he who loves pleasure will be a poor man. He who loves wine and oil will not be rich. But let us look at a man who lived this Solomon principle in the modern age. Let us call upon the witness RG Lettornau. He lived in the 20th century and was known as the dean of earth moving. He built the massive earthmoving machines that helped win World War II and built the highways of America. Letoro was a man who struggled early in his life with debt and failure. But he came to a realization. He decided to make God his business partner. Not in a symbolic way, but in a literal financial way. He started by tithing, giving 10% to the

14:44 Lord's work. But as God blessed him, he did not raise his standard of living. He raised his standard of giving. It reached a point where RG Lerno was giving away 90% of his income to the kingdom of God and living on only 10%. And the miraculous thing was that the 10% he kept was more than the 100% he used to have. The more he gave, the more the money poured in. When people asked him about this mathematical impossibility, Lerno famously replied, "I shovel it out and God shovels it back, but God has a bigger shovel." This is the practical application of Proverbs 10:22. Letono had the blessing that made him rich and because he was a conduit holding the money loosely, he had no

15:30 sorrow with it. He did not worry about the market crashing because his banker was the creator of the universe. He understood the principle of the reverse tithe. Most of us struggled to give 10%. He delighted in keeping only 10. This shows a heart completely free from the fear of lack. And what did God do? God entrusted him with more. If you are a faithful steward over a little, you will be made ruler over much. Hudson Taylor, the great missionary to China, operated by a similar principle. He never solicited funds. He never asked men for money. He simply prayed and asked God to move the hearts of men and millions of dollars flowed into his ministry to save souls. He said, "God's work done in

16:18 God's way will never lack God's supplies." The question for you today is this. Are you trusting in your hustle? Or are you trusting in God's shovel? The hustle is limited by your energy, your time, and your health. If you get sick, the hustle stops. But God's supply is unlimited. It flows from the riches in glory by Christ Jesus. To implement the Solomon Wealth Code, you must be willing to let go of the tight grip you have on your finances. You must open your hand. An open hand can give, but an open hand can also receive. A closed fist can hold on to what little it has, but it cannot receive anything new. Let us be like Letternu. Let us be like Solomon. Let us

17:06 build our lives on the foundation of wisdom, knowing that the Father knows we have need of these things. We have traveled a great distance today. We have journeyed from the modern myth of the hustle to the ancient wisdom of King Solomon. We have learned that the blessing of the Lord is a specific type of wealth, one that comes without the toxic side effects of sorrow, anxiety, and toil. We have seen the power of the 5-minute alignment routine, surrendering anxiety, declaring the source, asking for wisdom, listening to the spirit, and thanking God in advance. And we have stood in the shadow of giants like RG LNO. Seeing that when we take care of God's business, he takes supernatural care of ours. The secret is not in

17:52 working less, but in trusting more. It is about shifting your reliance from your own limited strength to the unlimited power of the creator. I want you to close your eyes wherever you are. If you are safe to do so, open your hands in front of you as a sign of surrender and readiness to

18:39 receive. Let us go before the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. We acknowledge you as the source of all life and all provision. Lord, I lift up every person listening to my voice right now. You know their burdens. You know the bills that are piling up. You know the anxiety that keeps them awake at night. Father, we ask forgiveness for buying into the lie that we must toil and strive in our own strength. We repent of the spirit of Mammon. We declare today that you are our shepherd and we shall not want. I pray that you would release the blessing of Proverbs 10 22 over their homes. Release the wealth that adds no sorrow.

19:26 Grant them the wisdom of Solomon. Give them the discerning heart to know a good opportunity from a trap. I rebuke the devourer over their finances. I rebuke the spirit of poverty and the spirit of waste. Lord, teach them to number their days. Teach them the rhythm of grace. Let them work from a place of rest, not a place of panic. Open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there is not room enough to store. Just as you multiplied the loaves and fish, multiply the resources in their hands. We thank you Lord that you are Jehovah Jire, our provider. We step out of the grind and into the grace. We receive your peace. We receive your plan. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of

20:13 the Holy Spirit. Amen. Go in the peace of the Lord.
