The only Fujifilm cameras & lenses I am using this summer

Breve Riepilogo

Obiettivi Principali: Sigma 18-50mm e Fujifilm 33mm

Obiettivi Aggiuntivi: Voigtlander 27mm e Obiettivi in Prova

0:00 When I say these are the only cameras I'm using this summer, I mean a few of them. For my standards, this is still quite a minimal compact case. This is a follow-up video to my last trip to Korea where I packed definitely too much and ended up only using half of the stuff I took with me. Today I'm sharing with you the exact gear I'm using to take photos, videos, POV footage and this app I used to film these YouTube videos. If you're new here, hi! I'm Lisa, I'm a travel photographer and content creator and I'm here in Istanbul at the moment and I'll be spending somewhere between the UK and Italy. The newest addition to my photography kit is the famous or infamous Fujifilm

0:47 X106. Getting this camera was actually no idea. It was George. I'm still not 100% sold on it, but I do recognize that this is the perfect travel camera. What I don't love about the camera is that you're stuck with one focal length. That's one thing. Second is maybe seeing this camera so much and used by so many people has actually put me off. And especially when everyone uses the same film recipes and a similar look, it just feels like all the photos are quite homogeneous but I do recognise that you know is a great camera with amazing skills so I'm definitely gonna develop my own recipes and I'm gonna give it a first shot this summer. Whenever I show on Instagram or YouTube

1:35 this camera I'm gonna be showing you in a second I get so many messages from people saying that they love the camera and asking if I actually use the camera and if I actually like it and the answer is yes of course I use and like whatever I show you on Instagram and YouTube. The camera is the Fujifilm X-T2. I absolutely love this camera. I love that you can change lenses. I love the fact that it's got a tilting screen and I love shooting a low angle in street photography. I think it's so addictive. I love how people look massive from this point of view. Next up is my bigger camera, the X-H2. It's quite an underrated camera, am I wrong? I don't really hear talking about this

2:22 camera that much. It's the camera I reach for when I want fast autofocus, when I want something reliable, when I want great video, when I want great photos, especially paired with some specific lenses, which I'm going to get into later. It's I love it. This was an upgrade from the X-T4. I went back and forth because I couldn't decide if I wanted an X-T5, maybe something else, or GFX, or not Fuji, but I'm so happy I went with this. If you're familiar with the channel, you will know that I'm a must-have camera bag snob. I really struggled to find one that I like. I have personal beef with camera bags and slings and the companies that make them. But today, KNF Concept has sent me

3:07 a little something that I actually used and really like. This is their 7-liter lightweight sling. 7 liters is a sweet spot for a day shoot. comfortably holds manual setup and an extra lens and the adjustable dividers actually stay where you put them. Bed pockets usually ruin a bag for me but can't have fixed that. You get a quick access from pocket for your batteries and SD cards. Plus there is a foldable side pocket. If you need a water bottle or a small tripod pop it open. If you don't it folds completely flat to keep the bag slim. It's lightweight, it's weather resistant and it doesn't scream like a camera bag, so you can also use it for other things when you're traveling. It just looks like a clean low profile bag. A huge thanks to Kenneth Concept for sponsoring this video. You can hit

3:56 the link below to check out the 7L link for yourself. Speaking of lenses, my main travel lens that I've been using a lot at the moment is the Sigma 1850 2.8. This for video paired with the Fujifilm X-H2 is chef's kiss it's so good the video is so stabilized I really struggle because before this zoom I used to use the OG Fuji 1655mm which is quite massive if you're familiar with the lens and the video was getting was not great. It was a bit shaky because I'm shooting mostly unheld. Photos with the Sigma don't give me that digital over sharp look that

4:44 some third party lenses do. So overall, I think it's a very good compromise and I think one of the best travel lenses I have. When I feel like going prime with my X-H2, I go for the 33mm f1.4, which I love. I'm going to say that I love everything that I'm going to show you because obviously this is a very small kit and everything has been tested and used for a long time. I've had this lens since December. I got it in Japan for a very good price and I get often asked if it's worth the money. I waited a long time before buying this lens because I had a 35mm f2. I thought, oh, is it even worth it? You're not spending the extra money to get the newer one. But I must say it is worth it. Since I got the 33mm, I haven't touched the 35mm f2. With that being said, since I bought

5:34 the 33mm, my photography style has slightly changed and the more I shoot, street the more i want to go wider so sometimes the 33 mil feels a bit too tight so when that happens i go for the 27 mil from white lander which is a manual lens which i use with the x-t2 but i mainly use it with the xt2 because i really want to take advantage of the fact the xt2 is quite small so i want to pair it with like a smaller lens as well i think in terms of lenses i'm doing a good job no i don't think this is too much But yeah, there is still some stuff. I am a very lucky girl and I get sent quite a lot of stuff to try. So I have these three lenses here with me to test. We've got the

6:19 Viltrox 35mm 1.7. I've used this a few times, but I'm still not sure what I think about it. But I'm definitely going to do a video comparing 35mm lenses because I have a lot of them. Then I've also got the 35mm 1.8. from TT Artisan. I quite like the colour, I quite like the lens hood. It reminds me of Leica. And then I've also got this 7 Artisans, I think, yes. 7 Artisans 27m, which is a focal length, as I said before, that I love. So I'm really curious to see if this is For POV footage I've been using the DJI Osmo Nano. I really like it. The battery life is solid enough to last

7:06 for a full day of shooting and it has plenty of internal memory. I usually attach it to a magnetic neck mount and completely forget it's there. You can detach the screen to control the camera and see exactly what it is and tweak your settings right from your chest if you need to. The screen also acts as a charger, so after a few hours of shooting, I just snap the camera back to it, lay it charged for 20 to 30 minutes and I'm good. Keep going. The video setup that I'm using to film these YouTube videos of me talking needs to be as small, as portable as possible since we are on the move all the time. So we are using the mic. This is a mic Comica. I'm going to write the model down below. I can't actually remember. And I think it comes with a transmitter. So It's all wireless, so super easy to use

7:55 and super handy. Then we've got the Sony a7C II. That's the main camera that we use as always stuck on the tripod. I think the tripod is from Kenneth Concepts as well. And then we use the lens. It's a Sony lens. It's a 2070mm, I think. I'm gonna write it somewhere here, I'm never sure. Actually, let me check. 2017, yes. It's a F4, which sometimes is not good enough when it's quite dark and we are not relying on any lights. So this is just natural light. I quite like natural light and I don't have any problem using it. Sometimes my go-to is next to

8:42 a window and sometimes I put like a light in the background. We don't have any in this Airbnb, so not light in the background for now. But yeah, I have no problem working with natural light, but sometimes when it's gloomy outside or when the apartments we're in are not south facing. It's a bit of a problem, but it's fine. I think we're gonna get a different lens. Actually, if you have any suggestions for a different lens for Sony, let me know in the comments. Thank you so much for watching. If you have any Istanbul recommendations, I'm gonna be here for the next few weeks. Please let me know in the comments. So far, I've been loving this city and the cats quite a lot. um thank you so much for watching, thank you so much for the

9:32 support, thanks to kind of concept for sponsoring this video, if you want to grab this link you can do it through the link in the description and that's everything for me today, i'll see you soon!
