Além disso, a saúde metabólica impacta diretamente a energia, foco, memória e força física.

O Problema do Açúcar e a Solução Reducose

Benefícios a Curto e Longo Prazo do Reducose

A longo prazo, o uso contínuo leva à redução da ingestão calórica, melhora do humor, do sono e do gerenciamento do peso.

Estudos e Mensagem Principal do Reducose

0:09 How are you? My name is Leandro, I'm the advertising manager here at Inov Magistral. Today we're with Loic. He's vice president for the Americas and Finova, an important partner of ours, right? In ingredients. So, L, if you could introduce yourself, feel free. Originally from Belgium, I've been a biological engineer in the US for 15 years. I've lived in New York, specialized in biochemistry, and then I did my MBA in the US as well. Okay. Well, guys, today we're going to talk about a new product we're bringing to market, right?

0:58 Phinova's core business is the research and development of products for metabolic diseases, right? And talking about these metabolic diseases brings us to various aspects of diseases, like diabetes, right? L. Among these diseases, what is this relationship between metabolic diseases and health problems? So, yeah, you briefly talked about Finova. So at Finova we specialize in developing natural botanical ingredients that target specific issues that are usually chronic. One so metabolic health was the very first issue we were trying to attack. One

1:44 and so we developed an ingredient called raducose. Um the reason why we believe metabolic health is so central um is because metabolic health is the foundation of our health. Um we have a lot of conversations around long-term issues with our health like cardiovascular like non-alcoholic fatty liver like renal failure or even you know diabetes. But when you ask consumers on the street, and there's a lot of studies that show this is that a lot of the consumers really care about how they feel today and tomorrow. Um, you know, an example is being able to have enough energy, being able to focus or have the right memory, being able to be strong enough to play with your kids. Um, a lot of them have, you know, are not directly linked to

2:33 the solutions for the long term. However, When you look at the source of all of those long-term or short-term, a lot of it is healthy metabolic syndrome. Okay. And to talk a little more about the part, especially, right, about reducos there, as Loic said, it's very important for us to remember that one of the biggest villains today, uh, speaking of metabolic diseases, specifically diabetes, is sugar, right? But one thing we don't always pay much attention to is that sugar is present in our so-called healthy diet. So, for example, sugar ends up being derived from, for example, rice, pasta, and some

3:21 other foods that are actually healthy foods, but in large quantities can cause us problems, right? And to try to alleviate these problems, we're bringing reducose to the market. And what is reducose? We also have a very long agricultural program to make sure we have the exact right bioactives in the raw material. And so we make sure that reduc product is standardized bioactives that are really important. Cool. And what is this unique mechanism of action?

4:13 Unique UM because it's UM the active, the main active and in radical it's not the only active that will have effects but the main active is called deoxy and UM we say D because it's it's easier UM it looks very much from a molecular structure it looks very much like glucose. There's a slightly different on the oxygen group. It's A it's a nitrogen group but so the fact that it's so similar to A have the DNJ go into the active S of the alpha glucoside. And so the alpha glucosidase is the main enzyme in your upper A part of your intestine that A is able to hydrolyze the glycosic bonds of starch and disaccharides and above.

5:06 So why not just reduce the amount of carbohydrates in your diet? The main reason is that carbohydrates are really everywhere in our food system. Um it's its part it's 74% I mean those are numbers from the US but 74% of the food you know present on every shelf in the store in your plate is carbohydrates. so it's it's really hard to avoid carbohydrates on a daily basis. Um you know you we can try and avoid the sugars. Uh the industry is doing a lot of efforts to remove sugars. But sugars when it comes to metabolic health, sugar is only part of the story.

5:53 Um the other part is really the complex carbs. Carbs we believe could potentially be healthier. Like you know give an example with sushi, we had sushi you and I at lunch. Um we really believe sushi is a really good and healthy solution. It's definitely not unhealthy. I'm not saying you should not eat sushi, but when it comes to metabolic health and spiking your blood and spiking your insulin, you know, carbohydrates are twice as bad. B of 50 of rice which we ate sushi was worse cans of coke. So you know have asking such a large population 80% of the population to avoid 74% of the food they eat it's it's really hard and in even countries you know you know countries in the US for instance sugar industry subsidize. So it's also the cheapest food.

6:44 So now you're asking people that don't make a lot of money to buy food that's more expensive. It's it's impossible to, you know, to do this like this. Um uh but solving metabolic health needs to happen fast. So having what I call enabling solutions, it's a small solution that helps you get back on track in a positive cycle. You know, Rikos is not there. It's not there to protect you from every bad decision you make. You need to be able to continue on a healthy diet, but to start people on a healthy diet, to help people, you know, just like a coach would help you on getting back into your exercise every day.

7:30 Once you get highs in the tremendous switch can happen mission with ANOVA. Okay. One of the things we talked about previously is that it stimulates the endogenous production of GLP-1. Can you tell us a little bit about this? Blocking glucose doesn't really affect the overall benefit you feel. What it does affect is number one is that you will reduce your post-glucose level will also reduce therefore your post-brandal insulin level your total area under the curve.

8:17 One and then all of those carbohydrates that have not been digested, we typically calculate that it's between 20 and 30% of the carbs you have eaten. You mention you know rice. Carbs move along and typically your body will recognize it had enough food and the recognizing is called the umbreak and the helium break is a messaging system through hormones out to your brain that gives you the signal that you've had enough food and the signals are given by three main hormones PYCCK and then the very famous GLP1A, OK. How long does it take for the patient to notice its benefits?

9:11 Very short term is one hour. So you you really are able with reducose to block the digestion of carbs within the moment you're eating and that's the moment you will lower your insulin or your glucose. You will prevent hypoglycemia after dinner. So all of these you will feel the effect. Now the feeling of fullness the satisfaction thanks to GLP-1 will in fact happen throughout the day. over the course of two hours later in the day you'll feel less hungry, less craving for sugar, less craving for sweets. But then the very chronic use is if you repeat this constantly day after day, week after week, you're able to lower the average caloric intake, lower the average amount

9:58 of insulin and you know excretion that you have which is typically responsible for storage in fat. So you'll see benefits like weight management, improved mood, you know, improved sleep. So all of these are in fact known in the world of fasting. So when you stop eating this is typically things that people totally understand and so we are able to, you know, work around the same lines of mechanism. And so now we're also with partners like very invested in studying all of these benefits all the way through.

10:47 Speaking of studies, how many studies do we already have on general metabolic health? So looking at cholesterol, LDL, HDL, blood pressure, body weight, body weight composition, then we have another one on aging, we have another one on cognitive mood and anxiety. and then recently also price for menopause study. Oh, very cool. Well, for us to finish here, A, what would be the main point, A, for us to talk about raducose that we, the message that we would take to the doctor and to the patients

11:34 who will use raducose. I think the most important part of radic in the world is that it really helps re-establish the foundation of your health. can try as many ingredients or as many solutions as you want. If you don't have a strong basis, strong foundation, you will continuously, you know, fail to improve significantly. So the way we see it across the world is reduction becomes really the foundation of a formula of each formula. You're doing a foundation, a formula for menopause, a formula for PCOS. You start by

12:19 re-establishing the metabolic health and there you add the additional benefits of Atoll or of a you-know-saffron or something of those like. So I think the beauty of having a solution that can really tackle the main foundational issue I read in Brazil there's over 80% that are metabolically unhealthy. Basically, it's important for 80% of the people in Brazil. but it's also we're not asking from you to change your completely diet or to completely change your gene. It's very convenient. You take rich before eat before your meal. It's an easy small and you know and we can use it chronically because there's no reported side effects. L, thank you very much. Thanks. Guys, thank you for watching this video.
