Despite all the worldly success he has had since, his character remains the same. He has written songs that defined his generation and soundtrack the 1990s and beyond. 1:31 their hearts and souls. Rock and roll anthems to be sung in a loud voice with your mates like you would at a football match. Songs about youth, of loneliness and frustration, songs about escape, songs full of ecstatic joy that lift the spirit, songs of meaning in a world that sometimes feels as without meaning. I witnessed Oasis twice on their recent worldwide sold out stadium tour, and they were magnificent.
