00 Viki and Leelchair are most certainly the two strongest infantry commanders in the game or at least some of the strongest. But there is an important question that I've been asked quite a bit and I know a lot of people are considering and that is which of the commanders is better? Is Leelchair a better commander or is by key a better commander? So, if you're interested in which commander you should consider investing in if you could only get one or which commander is going to be a better first investment, you want to stick around till the end of the video. Now, the first thing I want to start off with today is going over the advantages to both commanders and where each commander kind of beats the other one out. The first real good thing about Leelchair, we'll start off with
45 Leelchair. Five target AoE. He also does deal smite damage. Now, obviously both Bike Key and Leelchair are five target AoE smart damage commanders, but Leelchair has a pretty good debuff. A 40% march speed reduction is good if you're chasing down enemies. So, that's a nice thing with Lechair's active skill. Leochair's stats also arguably a little bit more sustainable and a little bit more tanky than what we're going to see with by Key. On top of this, Leochair has a good amount of normal damage bonuses and a little bit more tankiness on his fourth skill. And he's got a pretty nice expertise. So, this kind of gives Lechair more of a well-rounded kit. When we look at him, you can see the five target AoE is good. The debuff is nice on his active skill. And the fact that he's got smite damage factor triggers on his third skill does
32 synergize quite well with other combinations with different commanders. So, for example, if we look at Gorggo, there is an aspect to her kit where whenever she deals smite damage, she's going to be able to deal more damage. You can see here, for example, with Gorggo, whenever this troop deals smite damage, they can deal up to 30% more normal damage for the next 3 seconds. This is just an example of where that small smite damage trigger could become quite useful, and it is quite seen with Leochair. So that third skill can be useful with some commander pairings, whether it be new commanders in the future or even current commanders in the game. On top of this, Leo's expertise, the combo attack damage does actually allow him to trigger or at least work quite well with commanders such as
17 Alexander the Great, cuz Alexander the Great's second skill lets him deal damage whenever he has a when really whenever he launches a normal attack, he's a 10% chance to deal the damage. and also Leoch's expertise, the combo attack is going to count towards that because it counts as basically an ability that can trigger any effects triggered by basic attacks, which is what Alex's extra damage is. So that's why Alex and Leelchair can be a really good pairing. It is because of Leochair's expertise with that extra combo damage can be really, really nice. And it's a good rage engine as well. So he's got a rage engine, good damage, good stats, pretty wellrounded, and that is what makes him a really good commander. As for by key strengths, he also has a five target AoE. It is technically slightly stronger than Leo chairs or it is exactly the same though it is a bit stronger than Leo chairs.
03 Just edges it out a little bit. And while he doesn't have a debuff, he does have a 15% or a 30% chance to make a target take 15% extra damage only for like that turn for his active skill. So pretty much he can deal 2,400 damage plus 15% if you get a little bit lucky. It's pretty basic in terms of an active skill, but it is a good five target AOE skill. Other thing is he's got some pretty nice stat bonuses. Little less tanky than Lechair overall from what we've seen. There's more in terms of Bike Key dealing damage rather than Bike Key in a way being an extremely tanky commander in the same way that Leochair is. But Bikey is really tanky in the terms of the amount of all damage reductions he's going to gain off of his expertise whenever he drops below
49 certain unit thresholds. He's also going to get in a way a lot of revenge damage because the way it works is if he has more malice than your opponent, he's going to deal damage. He's going to deal smite damage factor and he's going to make them take more SE wounds. So in this way, he's got some revenge damage basically which can make him kind of annoying to kill on the open field. His meal stacks are interesting. They could be powerful in the future, but he does need a little bit of time to ramp up on the open field. You don't really want to be going in and out of combat with him because you can lose those stacks of malice. And that's something I'll talk about in a little bit. So, interesting kit from Bike Key. Very good, nice stats, good damage, wellrounded, and a very, very, very good expertise that can be extremely powerful. And I've been told as a little tip for today, this
36 400,000 enemy unit, you can actually get that by just killing barbarians. So if you take him out of your city and you kill some barbarians because technically you severely wound all the barbarian units, if you kill two bars, I think it is, you get the 5% normal damage bonus. Now, I don't know if it's going to be worth it in terms of the fact that you're losing a certain number of troops, so you're going to have less troops when you first enter combat, but it could be something interesting to consider if you're trying to really optimize your troop or your march. So 400,000 enemy units and you gain up to 5% all damage. Interesting. Can be quite nice on the open field if you use it with the barber. Now I don't know if that's a glitch and that's going to get patched or if that is intentional and it is the way it's going to stay. Does remain to be seen. I don't know if it's already been patched. I've just been told that it can work in that manner. Now what about where each commander kind
22 of beats the other one out. First of all, I think Leochair has a slightly better active skill. Leoch's active skill just because he's got the march speed reduction in my opinion beats out Bike's active skill because Bike Key is just kind of all damage. Now, Bike does have more damage, but I think Leoch's active skill is a bit more versatile. Now, they're essentially the same if we're being fully realistic. Very, very similar in terms of their capabilities. So, it's not like it's too big a deal to focus on which skill is better. you are kind of just looking at a situation where legal chair's active skill is slightly better than in my opinion by keys. The thing that Bike does do a little bit better though is the fact that he's got a ridiculously good expertise. Viky's expertise is by a pretty good margin, stronger than Leo
08 chairs. Now, they both got really strong expertises. Lechair's combo attack damage is nice. It's going to be useful with commanders like Alex or any situation where you're trying to trigger things with normal attacks. and the rage game can be very good, but the amount of stats that Bikey gets of his expertise is unheard of. He gets up to 150% total all damage bonuses whenever he gets below 15% units. And saying that out loud, it's ridiculous. 150% all damage. So really, really unique kit in terms of the way that it works on that expertise. It's going to be very very good if it lines up well, especially if it lines up with an active skill. by key is going to deal absurd amounts of damage. Like it could be unheard of, especially if you're in a 1v one situation. You're going to demolish
54 your opponents because as you get lower and lower, you're going to hit those thresholds, trigger those skills, and it's going to pretty much act as if you're a full march hitting an almost dead march if your opponents and you are in a fairly equal match. So by keys expertise, in my opinion, is quite a bit better than that of legal chair. But Bike Key's overall stats can be a little bit weaker if you don't include the expertise and the absurd amount of all damage. He's only got about 10% health bonus to his name. While Legal Chair doesn't have the most stats, but he's got 20% infantry defense. He's got a 20% skill damage reduction. He's got a 10% damage reduction. So, he's going to make the opponents deal less damage to him and your other marchers. And those stats, in my opinion, kind of out edge in terms of general tankiness compared to Bike. Bike's expertise really does
41 make him good. Now, the way Bike works, you kind of do want to lose troops in a way to get more smite damage and deal more damage, but you obviously don't want to be just throwing away your troops because the more damage you deal or the more troops you lose, the less damage you're going to deal. So, there's kind of that trade-off there with by key. The weak you get, the better you get, but the weaker you get, the weaker you also get. So, it kind of lets him act a bit more sustainably as he's dropping troops. But I think that Leochair's general tankiness is going to make him a little bit better. Now, none of none of the two commanders are absurdly tanky, but when we compare them, Leochair is a little bit more tanky in that regard. Now, what about for commander pairings? Now, this is probably the first time where I'd say they almost have identical pairings. Leochair can work really good with Alex.
27 He can work really, really good with William Wallace, and he can work pretty decently with Gorgo. And of course, he's amazing with Bike Key, but that's neither here nor there. And he's also really good with CPO, but CPO has a better pairing. So Leelchair's pairings, he's pretty much the exact same as Bike. The only difference with Bike Key. He's not as good with Alex because Leochair's combo attack damage makes him really good with Alex. But by key is amazing with William. He's probably William's best pairing. He's decent with Gorggo and he's obviously really, really good with Legal Chair and he'd be good with CPO since there's nothing that stops them from synergizing. So by key, generally very similar pairings. We don't normally see this. Usually when I do commander comparison videos, the other commander is very similar to or very different at least to the commander
14 that you're comparing them to. So for example, if I were to compare CPO African and Ragnar Prime, they're completely different in terms of the fact that while they're very good paired together, if you had to pick one first, CPO is better because he has more overall rounded pairings. But with my key and Leo Chair, they're very, very similar pairings. The only thing that's slightly different is Lechair's expertise lets him synergize a little bit better with Alex while Bike synergizes a little bit better with William Wallace just because Bike doesn't have those general tanky stats. He's got a really really good expertise that makes him tanky but his kit isn't the tankiest besides that expertise while William is a very very tanky kit and it doesn't have as much damage. But Leochair little bit more tanky, little less damage. So there's kind of that situation whereby he can be a little bit of a better pairing with William Wallace
00 while he's a worse pairing with Alex, but Leoch is a bit of a better pairing with Alex, but a slightly worse pairing with William Wallace. It's a very, very small difference in my opinion. They can pretty much both work with the exact same commanders. Just Leoch is better with Alex and V is better with William Wallace. And this brings me on to the main question of today. Which commander is the better pick? And first of all, I'd like to say they're very, very good, both of the commanders. If you can get both of them, put them together, you've got a meta infantry march, and it is going to be the strongest march you can probably use at the moment. It's two five target AoE commanders. They synergize pretty well. They're both really, really strong in terms of the amount of damage they can inflict, and there's a lot of synergy between Bike getting absurd amounts of smite bonuses
45 and Leche being a relatively tanky kind of good rage engine because of his expertise. So, in that way, they're both very good commanders, and I would preferably say that you want to pair them together. But if you can only pick one, for example, maybe you're already running another infantry march, and you only want to pick one of them, and you want to split the commanders. So, you might be running a Guan Cipio and you want to pick up someone, but you don't want to get Ragnar for whatever reason. That's when it comes down to picking your first commander. Or you've just hit season 3 and you need to pick either by key or legal chair as your first investment. And in my opinion, the first one you'll pick is going to be by Key. Reason being, Bikey is a better expertise because of how good his expertise is. Bikey's expertise is some of the best things I've seen in the entire game. It's just that good. And while Leo chair's expertise is amazing,
33 Bkey's overall kit needs the expertise more than Leo chairs does. So if you had to pick between one, you get Leelchair second and you get him to like 555 or 5515 to begin because Leelchair performs better without the expertise where Bike relies more on all four of his skills. If you can't expertise one of the commanders, then you want to pick up Leochair first. So if you can't expertise either one, then you need to pick up one first, pick up Leochair, get him to 5515, and then you can go and get by key and work him up towards that expertise. the bike key quite heavily reliant on the expertise to fully unlock his kit because his fourth skill and his third skill are really interlin. So you kind of want to get them to put them together, get that synergy. Otherwise, you're going to be in a situation where most of kit is underperforming and
20 you're lacking the really good expertise that helps him be a formidable beast on the open field. So by key really good commander. Leochair also a really good commander but in my opinion you probably want to pick up by key first as the first expertise and lechair as your second option if you're going to pair them together. If you're building a two march infantry mur ball so you're going to have one march with lechair one march with key and it's going to be separate then you probably still want to pick up by key first because you can put by key with William Wallace and it's probably going to outperform compared to Leochair with Alex. Reason being Leochair and Alex while it's a really good pairing, Alex is a little bit older. William Wallace a little bit newer, Bike Key a little bit newer than that. And they're a really really good synergy by Key with William Wallace. So in that situation, Bike Key might be a better first pickup.
06 But if you've already gotten Alexander the Great, then obviously Legal Chair will be your first pickup. If you've got a CPO, in my opinion, Ragnar would be the first pickup and you would ignore both of those commanders. So in that situation, it can be a bit different depending on the commanders that you own. But if you're trying to split them up and you're trying to future build a too much murder ball, you want to get by key first and put him with William Wallace because it's going to be a slightly better pairing than the Alex with the lechair. The other thing to note, Alex with Leelchair, there's a chance that by the time you expertise both by key and William Wallace, we see a new better commander compared to Alex. So, for example, there might be like an Alex Prime or whatever it may be that might perform better with legal chair and you could put them together and Alex might get benched. So, you can wait that little bit of time since Alex is not the
52 best investment while Leo chair is still a very good investment and you can work on the buy key with the William Wallace march and it's just going to be as powerful. So, you can get that march first and wait to see if a new better Alex style commander releases that is going to be a little bit more powerful. So, keep that in mind. We could end up seeing a situation where Leochair and Alex or Alex at least gets a bit outfaced and then at least you've saved some gold heads. You've got the buy key with William Wallace or William Wallace primary and then you can invest in the new commander and put them with legal chair. So if you have to pick by key is generally the better first option unless you're in a bit of a niche situation. So this doesn't mean that one of the commanders is better than the other. I would like to preface that. It just means that by key better first pickup, lechair better as a second pickup. They're both really strong infantry
39 commanders who can pair super well together and they're going to be quite powerful.
