0:12 [Music] hello everyone welcome back to my channel I I have with me today perhaps one of the most controversial people in the ex-muslim space at the moment apostate Prophet how are you doing good good thank you how are you doing I am very well thank you it is so exciting to finally have you on here I've been wanting to do it for ages uh it's not quite the topic I was expecting us to talk about but here we are well that's how it goes right you plan you plan and then you get you come for something like this uh that that's how it is they plan
0:59 and Allah plan and allies the best of planners so what I thought that was me um so there is so much to talk about today uh to the point that I don't even know where to start um something that I wasn't expecting to talk about but that we will perhaps start with is a certain post that was made on your channel that people are a bit curious about uh for those who know what we're talking about do you want to respond to these queries not necess neily I mean um I it refers to a community post that I made earlier today after seeing um a video that was made about me and thinking this is so stupid this is so ridiculous um but I don't I don't think it has any relevance so no fair enough fair enough
1:47 um I didn't see it at the time but it sounds like some you know typical dark AP humor that we have come to love you for so there you go um so uh I guess there's a couple of categories of topics that I want to talk about today the first obviously being Israel um many many questions around your visit to Israel what you saw when you were there what you've seen from the state of the world in response to Israel all of that sort of stuff and then perhaps uh we can get into some of your commentary on the conflict uh and how people have been responding to that in recent weeks um but I want to start with your visit to Israel so I was supposed to go to Israel this year for work but that got cancelled because of the outbreak of the war but you ended up going so tell us
2:34 what prompted you to visit Israel this year um what prompted me was a um a a a big number of things so obviously October 7 happened the October 7 attack by Hamas um on Israel happened um lots of people were uh innocent people were killed by Hamas inside Israel um when it happened happened people were shocked I was shocked I thought okay this is this is it like after this um they they have lost the sympathy of the world there is no turning around from this and many people thought the same way and it was like very it was very worthy of condemnation uh we now have uh un reports confirming that there were there
3:21 were multiple instances of uh sexual violence sexual assault and all kinds of things I have seen all kinds of terrible things things and um however after October 7 before Israel even properly responded um the whole thing started the whole victim plane started of like uh Israelis trying to genocide Palestinians and innocent people ceasefire now and this and that it it started turning around and I realized I was completely wrong I completely underestimated the victim playing and um going to be very harsh about it it is like that's that's all it is to me victim playing and um so as I've seen over the months more and more people accusing Israel of all kinds
4:09 of different things vilifying Israel vilifying Jews and uh you know justifying atrocities by Hamas or denying the atrocities and completely distorting history I I thought I started taking this very very seriously more so more than uh before and I don't know about Europe spring but I grew up in a very very religious household and uh basically like learned all kinds of terrible things about Jews when I was a little child and I I I I would say I have a lot of resentment from that and have a sense of justice when it comes to Jews and um I don't know I found the opportunity somebody brought it up to me uh I was talking to um Joseph who is um who has his this YouTube channel Israel
4:55 advocacy movement I was talking to him about um what he saw when he went to Israel and he said hey you should go and you know see see some of the things for yourself and I thought oh okay yeah you're right I should go so I just organized that whole thing um and got in touch with somebody from the government there to have uh you know um sightings viewings arranged and all of that and organiz a fundraiser and our subscribers our followers um hugely supported the fundraiser so I took David and we went there together that's what happened so um what kind of stuff did you see and experience when you were in Israel and how did that kind of shape I guess your views around the ongoing conflict and you know the controversy
5:42 around the IDF and all of these sorts of things um it is I don't know it's it had it had a huge impact and still has a huge impact on me I feel like I'm I'm completely changed since I went to Israel and came back and it has some interesting some heavy impact on me negatively and positively that I'm still not entirely um you know that I that I'm that I still feel kind of confused about at the moment which is why I didn't really um come out and properly talk about it but um so I went to Israel and despite
6:29 rejecting a lot of propaganda I did have this preconceived notion about Israel and Israelis that they are um you know at least in some way angry and hateful and I thought but it is probably Justified because of the whole conflict and the things that happen and I went there and I see that there is virtually no hate and no anger in people and whoever I talk to even the most uh you know right between conservative people that I talk to there think oh no this is not about this is not about Islam this is not about Muslims no this is not about Arabs this is not about this but not about that uh you know and um we just have to make sure that we are as as you know uh as just and as careful as
7:14 possible and things like that and hearing that from the the religious from the not the religious but the right-wing conservative parts of the population and then hearing some really really interesting things like oh it's probably our fault and things like that from the um more secular population really confused me a little bit because all my life I learned that these people are evil people looking for an opportunity to just kill the other side and then you hear all kinds of uh terrible things about them and then I go there and it's not like that at all and everyone is just upon hearing why I'm there they are extremely thankful and grateful and say do you don't even have to do anything else thank you for just doing this just go back tell people whatever you saw if it's positive or negative appreciate
8:00 things like these um made me feel really really make me still feel really strange I I still don't know what to think about the whole situation but what I did see in terms of bad things was uh I went to a few sides that were attacked and um I I read about those sites before since the attack happened but then going there and um seeing those sites were Hamas terrorists attack homes shot into homes shot into kids rooms uh abducted people burned places down went into the middle of a festival and killed 300 something people abducted the rest of them and then seeing a bunch of footage that I had not seen before I
8:46 don't know I feel like um these are things that a a human should not see and I'm not necessarily the strongest person in response to seeing such things um still kind of trying to get over it and digest everything I don't know yeah I can imagine that that was quite traumatizing to experience firsthand um especially when you know the attack was so recent as well yeah um so from what I'm hearing it sounds like your motivations for going to Israel were very much to in a sense challenge your own biases right you talked about growing up with these biases against Jewish people um and that your visit sort of caused you to reflect back on that um why do you think that there has been
9:34 such an emotional very reactive response to that visit given that your motivation for going was it sounds like to sort of educate yourself and learn more from the people there why does that upset so many people my primary motive was actually just to was more um I didn't even know that I went there to basically uh to change my own mind I only realized it when I was there um but one of the things one of the main reasons why I went there was uh I wanted to um go there and see what whatever I'm talking about and have a very deep understanding of what's going on and talk to random people like uh I went with David and we didn't stay in any um you know fancy touristic places we we we were we spent our time very much in the
10:20 among the regular population among the Arab population and the the Jewish population and um to to deeply understand uh Israel to understand the conflict and to understand what happened there and what has been happening ever since and what people think about it so that was my primary uh reason for going there and I also wanted to go there to help and um the the thing is people's responses though I would say mostly from what I see people have been responding quite uh quite positively nicely to to the visit and to everything that we have said about it since we came back I saw only I I see only from some circles that
11:06 there is this backlash and this anger uh and that comes from I don't know um from some of the ex-muslim circles I wouldn't say most of them but some of them that have this uh atheist anti-theist against all religions thing some of the ex-muslims who still have this anti-israel and uh Pro uh Muslim pro-arab uh mentality going on on and of course some reactions from conspiracy theorists and people who are who are generally on the on the on the right and who are like oh no they're paying you in behind the scenes they're doing this and this and that and there is a I don't know a child trafficking sex ring that is uh led by the by Hollywood and stuff like that uh from such people I've usually gotten bad
11:51 responses but overall it's it's it's quite okay and uh the bad responses are mostly I would say totally based on misconceptions and misunderstandings and biases about Israel I think um those people who have these who hate Israel and who think Israel is doing whatever the media says Israel is doing or whatever uh social media says Israel is doing they should probably go to Israel and visit it and then speak again because there's one thing I said again and again since I came back which is um after talking to Israelis and coming back I am sure that the hate that these people are getting is not because of the way they are it can't be because I've
12:37 been to many countries in the world to many places in the world and it was one of the one of the nicest kindest places that I've been to do you feel like something that I've noticed even before the outbreak of the war um is that anytime an an ex-muslim seems to voice uh any shred of sympathy towards Jewish people or towards Israelis they automatically get labeled you know a supporter of genocide a supporter of aparte um a supporter of murdering children and all sorts of crazy things like that why do you think there is this degree of hypocrisy when it comes to having sympathy for victims of you know terrible things like ter uh Terror terrorist attacks sorry and like the
13:23 hostages for example um but it's so much easier for them to feel sympathy for the other side and have that sort of be unquestioned where do you think that hypocrisy is stemming from well people have this thing especially from a from a western lens uh lots of discussions online um are often held from a western lens you know um especially I don't know when people go online and start talking about how Israel has uh white supremacy and this and that like nobody there cares about about the whole white versus non-white issue this is an American thing like this is this isn't an an anglosphere and uh western or American um perspective like such a thing is completely irrelevant to what is going on in Israel for example
14:10 um uh but one thing that people do have is that they view the Palestinian Arab side as the the underdog you know the the the weaker side or the oppressed or the less fortunate whatever whatever you want to call them and Israel is the stronger one and the the the white ones the Western ones the and and when you are strong you are generally more disliked by the average population when you are weaker you get more sympathy from these people and uh I would say Hamas has been there there is a difference between Hamas and and Isis for example right how they are received in the Muslim population around the Muslim world uh with Isis um most Muslims around the
14:56 world reject Isis and condemn them because they see them as as terrorists who kill other Muslims with Hamas despite Hamas having done uh very similar things in their in their methods of uh the fight like car bombs blowing themselves up stabbing random random people shooting civilians in the streets and so on Hamas is often seen in a very positive light by Muslims around the world and uh it's it's very easy for Hamas to to um to steer The Narrative to create um propaganda that is then spread by Muslims around the world and which then becomes popular on social media for example and that then quickly takes over um Jews on the other hand I noticed when I went there are a very small population
15:42 that uh are currently not very popular and they don't appeal to the popular uh part of society they certainly don't control the media as it seems right now and and people just like to believe that if you are weak you can do whatever you want I mean you have seen it so many times people justify justify the terrorist attacks against um people who were just dancing at a festival the Nova Music Festival on October 7 people went there just to have fun or and just you know just to be together to to have to have peace to dance these people were directly targeted and killed in masses by Hamas and so many people in the west and around the world Justus this and say
16:30 well uh they were dancing on occupied stolen territory and and you know this is resistance and uh don't question how we resist and things like that but if you if you if you then respond and just shoot at the very guy who massacres these people then you are suddenly an oppressor that's that's how it goes it's just it's it's illogical it's such a sickness and it's also that people like to just accuse you of being genocider or and genocide apologist like earlier I saw I saw a tweet by a guy who said Israel is the enemy of mankind and all that I went back to see what he tweeted on October 7 he he said nothing on October 13th he said uh Israel is using
17:15 uh these terrorist attacks to justify their genocide on October 13 Israel wasn't even doing anything like Israel didn't even start properly responding but these people already started calling it a genocide before Israel began the current War anyway there's so much more to say I'll just talk forever about this if you ask me do you think that people um are quick to label it a genocide because of the proportionality of that violence coming from Israel compared to the kind of violence that we see uh from the other side yeah um but they're misunderstanding something because lots of people are just commenting on a war without understanding what a war actually looks like because apparently they they they missed or they were sleeping when the syrians Civil War was at its peak or when Yemen has been
18:02 fighting for uh a decade now um the thing is so proportionality is an actual actual concept actual principle in international law in Wars but what it stands for is not oh if if if they killed 1,000 of you then you should not kill more than 1,000 of there that's not how it works it's it's about um you could kill 3,000 people or 30,000 or 300,000 people what matters is whether you can justify the numbers and whether you can demonstrate that uh there was no way around it that you did your best to avoid civilian casualties that it was absolutely necessary and so on of course uh The Winning Side in a
18:48 war will end up uh being more effective and more destructive that's how a war goes right on October 7 hamas's goal was to store form all of Israel and destroy it and kill as many people as possible civilians and uh military kill as many people as possible and capture as many people as possible had nobody stopped them they would have overrun and killed everyone in Israel so Israel did stop them and then said we will now declare war and we will we will make sure none nothing like this ever happens again which is why they are now responding and uh destroying a big parts
19:34 of of Gaza it it's not nice it's terrible right it's it's it's a horrible thing lots of people are dying but uh I would say it's quite obvious that Israel tried their best to um warn people and to minimize civilian deaths um and and and Hamas is an organization that uh that deliberately makes sure to hide themselves among and under civilians you have it on videos and you have it on like on October 7 Israel said uh on October 8 Israel said Israel told people to evacuate Southport in Gaza Hamas said no stay where you are nobody should leave we will stay right here directly thereby um putting their entire
20:20 population In Harm's Way they have said openly that they don't care about protecting the civilians they they care about building tunnels to fight Israel from they said they are proud of of sacrificing their own population and so on this is how the situation are this is the reality of War Israel uh I would say has to fight and has to destroy Hamas has to make sure that something like this never happens again and unfortunately doing something like this also costs lives of people who are uninvolved this is how war is and I'm sorry to say this but uh when people were asked in Gaza about whether they approve of October 7 or not in the last poll the majority of them said that they approve of it so that means that they
21:07 were in favor of a war I'm sorry but if you are in favor of the of the war of the conflict then why would you suddenly cry and be and act like you're the victim when the consequences of War are you know uh come to you and the reality is much harsher than you think it was it would be mhm something you mentioned a little bit earlier in the Stream and I think you've tweeted about this um as well is uh there is nothing that could justify the violence that we saw on the 7th of October which I entirely agree with there is no way to justify rape as a means of resistance um or kidnapping children or kidnapping and taking any hostages as a means of resistance um do
21:53 you think that that logic applies uh in situations where there are Wars so for example we know that a significant proportion of uh palestine's population in Gaza sorry is are children do you think that uh we can apply that that same logic to this situation and say that there are not circumstances that would justify killing that many civilian children who never asked to be part of this conflict where where do you sort of stand on that yeah I would agree that so I made a tweet um in response to um people saying that you know that that that um certain things that happened on oober 7 were Justified because it's a form of resistance and you don't get to
22:40 decide how we resist and stuff like that and um what that leads to is people basically claiming that there is an oppression and uh by claiming that there is an oppression and somehow subjectively or or you know um with with their whims uh you know um explaining what what exactly an oppression is they then justify the the resistance and do whatever the hell they want when they resist and um so my my thoughts on that is there simply is no way that you know that that that we can properly talk in function if you if if we accept that people can just uh go around and Target and kill civilians kill B kill babies kill children uh rape
23:27 people uh torture people and all kinds of things uh no matter what the situation is this should never be justifiable of course um if Israel engaged in the very same things or if there are cases where Israel engages in the very same things I will have the same position I will say if it's for example proven that um that the IDF has engaged in I don't know sexual violence torture and this and that I would say yeah the perpetrators of that should be held accountable when it comes to um the number of death of the civilian population including children and women there is a difference here which is um Hamas when they came in they directly we have it on video they directly targeted the civilian population uh Point Blank executed women and
24:12 children this is not something that is that is done by the IDF at least or that is that is not visible that is not happening in front of our eyes it it's it's that's not what people are complaining about people are complaining about the the numbers of uh of deaths of children and women that are uh dying in Gaza as a result of this War I would say Israel needs to do their best to avoid uh those deaths but it is a it is a major war and Hamas is not doing anything to protect the population and is on the contrary trying as much as possible to uh inflict pain and Death on their own civilian population and when that is the case there is not much that Israel can do
24:58 i' I've seen how they I've I've talked to people there and began to understand how they operate and how they target and it it looks like they they they really uh try to make sure to warn and not kill the civilian population especially women and children but at some point it just doesn't work anymore because the other side doesn't comply and then people that are not supposed to die die it is horrible and I think it shouldn't be happening but the best thing that you can hope for if you don't want people if you don't want innocent civilians to die is for Hamas to uh be eradicated and to be removed entirely because as long as organizations like that exist this will happen again and again and again and
25:44 again this is what they said this is what Hamas said how would you respond to uh people who accuse you of having no sympathy for Palestinian civilians I would accuse them of having no sympathy for uh Israeli civilians it's really interesting because I feel like you can either be one or the other but the minute you show that you've got sympathy for both sides suddenly everyone's upset why do you think there's this tribalistic way of approaching this conflict from so many people people don't want to talk about look look here's the thing um people always complain about what Israel is doing like uh Israel is committing genocide Israel is killing so many people why are so many innocent people dying they never talk about what should be done instead like uh terrorist
26:32 attacks happened Israel endured it look Israel's policy they they left Gaza completely in 2005 and one of the promises back then was um if if Gaza uh arms itself and starts attacking us then we will just go in and take it over and we will end this project forever that's that's it under these circumstances we can try disengaging from Gaza Gaza did did elect Hamas Hamas immediately said uh no peace no recognition we will fight Forever Until you are completely gone and Israel actually just sat there and built a defense system and endured this for 15 or 20 years uh they shouldn't have been doing this they shouldn't have been doing this they should have uh gone
27:17 in there and um and and ended that project um once and for all however they they they did endure this and um sorry your question was about I was trying to I was going to connect this to something that you asked was it about uh was it about having no sympathy for the other side yeah that was it huh I don't know how I was going to connect that but uh I guess I'm tired I don't know do you feel like you have sympathy for the other side sorry if that sounds yes I I do I do and um I like when I when I see when I see images when I see videos when I see uh you know when I get reports of things
28:03 that happen to the other side I do feel really really bad about it but then oh yeah this this was this is this is what I was going to say um we can all Express uh the sadness and the anger and all of that but what exactly should be done those people who say oh you have no sympathy for the Palestinians innocent people are dying okay we get it innocent people are dying what exactly should be done people like to always point fingers and say oh look he has no sympathy look he doesn't feel bad look he likes seeing uh innocent people dead sorry uh you can make those accusations forever and I can sit here and say oh you know what you have no sympathy you have no empathy for uh Israelis who are dying that's an easy thing to say it's an easy assumption to make talk about what the solution should
28:49 be instead I think right now uh as it seems Israel is going toward a solution here and if people complain about it then I would really like to hear what what they suggest Israel should be doing instead you know and they say ceasefire ceasefire is not a solution it just means that uh the conflict will go on and this same thing will happen again very soon okay um so there's so many things I want to talk about that I just don't even know where to start so you're saying that you're not afraid to admit that you have sympathy for the other side um but what I'm hearing is for the people that are criticizing the approach that you're
29:34 taking to this your response to them is so what the hell is your solution how how are we supposed to eradicate Hamas um and and what is your suggestion for the Israeli military to actually achieve that goal right that's something that changed my thinking about this whole conflict as well um when it all broke out like I was very emotional in the way that I responded to it but as soon as people started bringing up that very critical important question it really made me take a step back and think like well I don't I'm not a military strategist I don't have a solution uh maybe you know the people that have so much to say about this perhaps aren't the most educated or qualified to actually make that commentary I don't know um do you think though like a lot of people are saying that the level of
30:20 Destruction that we're seeing um in Gaza could could be easily avoided that we don't that Israel doesn't need to be you know bombing the absolute [ __ ] out of everything and everyone um is there an alternative like a ground Invasion that would be more effective in terms of protecting those civilian lives what are your thoughts on an alternative military strategy then I mean um I would say from my perspective to be very honest uh it is probably possible to avoid the scale of Destruction that we are seeing right now I I'm not sure if it's easily avoid I I don't believe it's easily avoidable um there was recently a report that was part of the that was actually published in the New York Times
31:06 um that was talking about the um the amount of deaths and the non-combatant to combatant um fatality ratio in this war right now in Gaza and the report was um basically pointing out that um so uh the the um the non-combatant to combatant fatality ratio in Gaz and deaths started as very high and has been gradually going lower and lower and lower so uh Israel uh as as a result of Israel's attacks and bombings a lot of um civilians died and the portion of civilians was uh relatively high and uh it is getting lower and lower the estimate right now is according to some
31:53 sociologists at at like um 61 or between 65% or something like that 65% are civilians uh the rest are are U combatants um the the the the important thing to note is that weeks ago in November or December um months ago I guess time is flying uh when when Hamas uh talked about the the the the number of civilians that are dying Hamas actually said that that uh More than 70% of those who are dying are civilians that's what Hamas said more than 70% people are acting like it's 90% 95% and so on Hamas
32:39 themselves said at some point it is more than 70% and when Hamas says More than 70% what I understand from that and what other people understand is that it's probably 70% or less um and and that is a very normal ratio if you look at the the uh combat to non-combatant ratios of fatalities in Wars throughout this Century or throughout the last century that is a very normal number and in fact it is very um it's it's quite impressive because Israel is fighting Hamas in such a densely populated uh place like Gaza um where it's impossible to cause major damage without hitting civilians and uh Hamas
33:24 deliberately um people are saying it it sounds weird when you say human shield but they actually do use the Civil population as human Shields um under these circumstances it's it's quite impressive if they actually are keeping a ratio like 70% I don't know the numbers but that's what it looks like and I would say um just looking at those numbers that uh does not look like genocide it does not look like um massive Reckless killing of civilians it looks like they are employing a certain amount of precision what they are doing which is uh one thing that they are doing which is very sad is that they are actually destroying a lot of residential areas and buildings especially in in the north so far um residential buildings which are
34:12 not supposed to be populated at the moment because they said evacuate go somewhere else there will be heavy fighting you will not be safe um that is very sad but just from the methods and from what what has been said so far the intention there is not to kill people you could say okay it's it's terrible and it causes suffering to destroy those buildings and to displace these people yes but uh This Is War I'm sorry I'm not sure what people thought war is okay um why why do you think that people uh consider your rhetoric around the war to be harmful and why do some people see it as something that could further perpetuate this conflict and cause harm to Palestinian civilians
34:57 I don't know what do you think uh look I've been watching you for many years now and I've always known you to be someone that takes a very blunt very sarcastic very you know dark humid sort of approach to things um and I relate to that a lot uh so I I've never really seen it as something you know problematic but I suppose when you're talking about an issue like this when there are people who have family members you know living in Palestine um I I can sort of understand why they might be upset with some of the things that you're saying do you to any degree um I guess understand where they're coming from can you sort of relate to their perspective at all what do you think about all of that I mean I have some sort of I have some um a certain amount of understanding for where they're
35:43 coming from I I get it I can empathize with their um with their whole position uh on the other hand I guess when people say that my Approach right now is very hard and very insensitive um they have a point because I think since October 7 I have been I have been quite um harsh and less um considerate of you know all the feelings and the warm things and all that kind of stuff I feel I feel like especially seeing how so many people are justifying the killing of Israelis how so many people are now going around trying to push this narrative that that Z ism is racism Zionism is genocide they are the new
36:29 Nazis uh we should make them regret this uh I know every day people tweet people tweet [ __ ] like um Zionism should be or Israelis should be remembered the way Nazis were remembered and things like that when I see stuff like this and then them also justifying the horrible things that Hamas did and half of them then denying what Hamas actually did in praising them so there is a huge war going on and then then there is also an information war going on I I am part of that war and it's very very hard for me to at the moment um give a [ __ ] about the feelings of certain people online uh especially especially if these people
37:14 are people who are Anonymous who are behind the scenes who don't participate in the discussion who haven't said anything so far and to them one to sit there and be like oh I don't like the way you handle this thing well [ __ ] off I'm s there are more important things in the world right now and this this is like I I I I don't care about that at all and I I do have that one thing that you pointed out I do um apply dark humor quite a lot but um this is usually not a thing that is considered problematic in the west right this is uh especially I see like from those who are kind of on the same side but who are uh critical I see this a lot from the ex-muslim community because I
38:00 feel like uh ex-muslims tend to be less familiar with uh the Western way of talking and thinking and joking but I I use dark humor all the time when I'm totally sad about something when I'm when I'm happy when I'm in pain when I feel like I'm dying I I'll make a joke about about dying when I see some something when I see harm I will make jokes about it this this is not meant to be malicious it is it is a way of coping with things yeah right would you say that you regret any of the commentary that you've put out there about this situation uh I don't know I would have to think on
38:48 a Case by case basis um I don't know maybe maybe there were some like um maybe there were some moments where I initially gave a very harsh reaction to something and then I decided to uh to take it back and delete it like uh during this whole thing I think I deleted more tweets than I ever did before because emotions are very very um very tense right now and I see something and I have a very terrible initial reaction to it and I think okay you know this sends the wrong message so I delete it because not because I feel embarrassed about it but because I think the things we say right now are having having an impact they're having an some sort of influence even if you don't want
39:34 him to have have an influence at all and I try to take back some of the things that I think are too um too much or too bad but in general I don't think that there's anything that I particularly regret so far okay something that uh was raised to me a little bit earlier like a couple of days ago I think when I announced that I was doing this stream someone really really wanted me to ask you um do you think that the degree of violence and destruction that we're seeing from the IDF is that something that could uh pave the way for groups similar to Hamas to just end up evolving over and over again like do you think those actions contribute to to a cycle of that sort of thing possibly and that's something that
40:21 I thought about as well while I was uh in Israel too because on this side everything seems quite human and quite good but on the other side there's so much suffering and so much hate and so much stuff going on um it's it's it's hard to move on from that point and um you know have a future where there is there is no hate and no fighting and no terrorism and all of that but then again look uh when Hamas came into existence and when the when the terrorist organizations in the 60s came into existence they didn't come into existence after a terrible treatment by Israel and by the Israelis many most of them came into existence just for the sake of fighting
41:09 and creating land and this is also something that that um most people who deal with this topic uh don't really understand and don't really know the history but uh the zionists the Jews were not um the powerful people in charge in the 1940s they were together with the Arabs um the Lesser people who were just fighting for their own independence and existence they were they were fighting for Independence against uh the British who were the actual rulers Israelis were attacked in the in 1947 and 1948 and became Victorious and defeated the other side and the other side has been has not been
41:56 able to recover from that defeat ever since and has been wanting to take land back ever since um the PLO pflp and all the all these terrorist organizations um some of which are now recognized as regular political organizations they didn't come into existence because Israel was oppressing them they came into existence because they didn't want to uh accept defeat because they wanted all of the land back so um but but then again to the question would this bring a cycle of terrorism maybe but I hope that Israel takes over and make sure that people are properly educated and something something like this doesn't happen again Israeli Arabs Muslims in
42:43 Israel are not like the Palestinians at all in their way of thinking and their in their way of viewing Jews um most Israeli Arabs like Jews most Israeli uh Muslims like Jews they express favorable views of Jews uh whereas most Palestinians 95% or more hate Jews obviously it looks like you know um if you if you live with these people you don't really develop those very same sentiments and I don't know what the solution is but uh Israel has to take over from here why do you think think um that there are some former IDF soldiers that
43:29 have come forward to denounce uh what they referred to as Israel's occupation of of Palestine why do you think people who have been in the action from the thick of it from an Israeli perspective might be coming forward and saying stuff like that I haven't really heard of any um except for some activists who are from the uh Israeli side and who said things like the things like that it that's a very unpopular opinion but um so contrary to popular belief it was it was a very popular idea in Israel until very recent times um that you could make peace with the Palestinians by giving them land this this was this was official policy um official policy was
44:14 to take a land and then uh take land from Egypt and then give it back to Egypt in exchange for peace and recognition take land from Syria and give it back for peace and recognition and uh take Land from the Arab Palestinians and give it back for peace and recognition that was the whole um whole idea of leaving Gaza in 2005 they thought if we just if we leave and remove all the Israelis from there we can maybe work toward peace and recognition and have peace forever but it doesn't really work that way because the other side doesn't believe in just taking land making peace they want all of the land that's what the majority wants according to polls and um of course there are dissenting voices within within Israel too that say oh
45:00 this is occupation we should just give them the land but they don't understand that the other side doesn't just want part of the land according to Paul the other side wants to take some of the land and then wants to continue until they have all of the land and sorry that's just not how it works okay um how would you respond to people who say that you are approaching this conflict with a lens of bias and that you are uh like anti- Palestine because you're anti-islam and that you're conflating the two um do you think there's any truth to that or do you think that's a ludicrous accusation I would understand why people would think something like that but I don't think that that is the case at all I think that's stupid um just to give you an
45:46 example I have been as as as long as I have been aware of the treatment of uh the uger population in China I have have been against the treatment and I have said even when like there are many occasions you can find that on my live streams where people said China is doing the right thing and I said I don't think so at all I think this is I think the way they are treating people is terrible that's not how it should be done you will just create hate and resentment if you do this um it's it's it's not because the other side is uh Muslim or Arab I don't have a personal problem with with these people we went there and we interacted with them we we lived among I I I went to an a Muslim Arab place every day to to eat my food and
46:31 had had nice conversations with them but when when it comes to the greater conflict there is more than just uh more than just that and more than just my feelings about the other side I look at the conflict and what I see is that um that Israel is completely in the right here and um in my opinion and before October 7 I thought there would be a that there would be a two-state solution possible right now I I just don't think that it's possible anymore because I don't I don't think that it's I don't think I don't think you can make it work and this is because of the history of it not because of the not because I don't like Muslims or something like that when you say that Israel is completely in the right um I'm going to
47:17 play Devil's Advocate a bit here but you mentioned earlier in the Stream that there are probably other ways that they could go about avoiding that civilian death toll do you think that that comment con uh conflicts with what you're saying about Israel being completely in the right I guess if you want to go into the semantics uh and the choice of words here and when I said completely sometimes I might use language not completely accurately so when I say completely what I mean is is is uh very much in the conflict between both sides in the right of course they also make mistakes and of course they did wrong things um wrong things as early as before Israel was before the modern state of Israel was declared the zionists made uh mistakes where I think
48:02 they were not in the right um they were Mo they were first defensive as the Arab side attacked them then they started forming par paramilitary organizations and after a while they started attacking the British and uh um you know carrying out terrorist attacks in retaliation because they thought uh if we don't do something then we will never uh have Independence and we will suffer so they started getting violent know the Zionist side or elements of the Zionist side of course like this is for example a a big mistake um I will acknowledge that you know Israel of course makes big mistakes in this conflict but overall in comparison they are totally
48:48 right uh how would you respond to the people who say that the reason Palestinian civilians um you know might be supporting Hamas and that sort of thing is a manifestation of uh their response to oppression do you think there's any truth to that possibly um I I recently reread a book by mam Hassan YF he's um the son of a of a of a Hamas co-founder and he was also part of Hamas and went to prison and was hired by the Israeli um Security Agency the shinb and he wrote a book about his his life
49:33 story and he for example at some point explains that um he he wanted to he wanted to fight he wanted to be part of the resistance he got some uh guns with a friend just like a beginner move um the Israeli intelligence intercepted their phone calls picked him up and arrested him and put him away in uh in interrogation and there he describes the the mental torture that he went through in Israeli um you know in in uh in during the interrogation of just being put into a into a dark room uh with the same song playing over and over and over again 247 and being treated like dirt basically
50:21 and sitting there all the time um and this just feeling very very I don't know feeling this this this deep sense of hate of he doesn't describe anything violent but he also describes in one case where he was uh taken as a teenager um by the Israeli police to detention and how he hated it and how he thought this is such grave Injustice I want to fight these people I want to destroy them I want to kill them and so on these are things that these are sentiments that people have that people develop very naturally very nor normally and most of the people who are there right now who are in the middle of the conflict don't really know the history they don't know what happened they don't know what happened in the 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s they think oh the Jews came and
51:07 they stole our land and they're oppressing us and killing us and so on this is what they learned and there's only so much that Israel can go and tell people they won't believe the Israelis anyway because the Israelis are evil Liars according to them of course there is a there is a human aspect to this where there a hopeless situation of just developing hate toward what you perceive as oppression but what is the other side supposed to do about this like hand out flowers and say oh you know I guess we won't treat anyone badly anymore and let them kill us that's their dilemma prior to the outbreak of the war um for many years now a lot of people have been talking about certain actions taken by the Israeli military and
51:53 government so for example having having minors having children you know locked up in Israeli prisons um what are your thoughts on how those sorts of actions are further perpetuating this violence and this conflict I think there are lots of things that you can be concerned about um it it is probably it's probably true that Israeli um Israeli security forces have become a little bit I don't jumpy when it comes to responding to threats and um maybe overzealous when it comes to um detaining civilians detaining certain people um of course I would say that
52:40 there is probably there are probably aspects worthy of uh criticism but these are aspects of the of the conflict where I also want to ask the question um [Music] um what were those children supposed to be doing as motivated by their own parents on the other side considering that when you considering that we have um we can we can have a look directly at current TV in the Palestinian territories and when you open it you see kids getting encouraged to pick up stones and throw them and Jews and get ready to kill them and trick them and so on it's it's a it's it's a terrible
53:26 conflict of course I would think u i I cannot deny that that the Israeli security forces are probably overzealous and over reacting at certain points that is a flaw and should be fixed I wouldn't think that that has a general um uh that that says much about the conflict in general though do you think that in accordance with the Geneva conventions that there are any examples to suggest that the Israeli government uh SL military is or has committed war crimes possibly I can't deny it I would say um it is possible it's totally possible um so the the Israeli military in response to October 7 uh called people
54:13 around like Israelis around the world to um to sign up and fight the response they got was uh twice the number of people who you know twice the number of people that they asked for Israelis really really came together with this whole uh October 7 attack and uh everyone wants to sign up and and and go and help the Ida and fight or be in intelligence and so on um I would say despite uh Israel trying to make sure to to be loyal to the whole um ethics of warfare they also have this thing called the purity of arms where you are supposed to um supposed to always repeat learn and repeat um that no matter what civilians are to be
54:59 protected regardless of their religious background ethnicity this and that but of course um it's it's a it's a military force fighting against a brutal enemy that is that United so many people in such a such an emotionally powerful way I would say certain aspects of the military probably got out of line and probably did things that are not supposed to be done and if if war crimes occurred uh I haven't I haven't seen real examples or real proof of any but if war crimes occurred of course they that will be that will be dealt with and they occur in many many conflicts around the world by perpetrated by many others by many other parties around the world um sure yeah I I can't deny it what you
55:46 also have to keep in mind is that the entire October 7 attack was a combination of numerous war crimes that really brought people to the limits of their patience and compassion for the other side yeah absolutely I think that's I think that's a fair statement to make um so my understanding is that Israel has been under investigation by the international criminal court since 2021 I believe uh for potential war crimes dating back to 2014 now that uh the conclusion of that investigation hasn't been released yet as far as I'm aware I looked at this a couple of days ago how would you respond if uh the ICC concluded that Israel has been committing war crimes I mean is that something like would you make a
56:33 video about something like that would you talk about it what do you think um I would hold the position that whatever they find and whatever they can prove whatever the evidence says um yeah Israeli uh you know authorities perpetrators uh should be held accountable and Israel should be answering you know yeah to um of course as as a as a response to this not sure if I will make a make a live stream or maybe I will make a live stream I don't know I don't know right now but uh possible so I I am of the opinion of course if if they find as a result of these investigations that uh that Israel has committed certain war crimes then sure they should be held accountable definitely I also said the same thing when the UN report came out uh recently
57:19 which said that um which confirmed that Hamas Comm multiple sexual violent attacks on October 7 they also pointed out that they went to the West Bank and in the West Bank they received accusations about the Israeli security forces and although they couldn't verify anything it is possible that certain Israeli Security Forces elements have engaged in atrocities I also said there I mean if if it turns out and if they can prove um that the Israeli side did objectionable or criminal things of course the people who did should be held accountable just have to be fair uh for the person that ask this question who is the IC that's the international criminal court so you've got two uh two International
58:05 courts that rule this jurisdiction you've got the international court of justice and they deal with civil matters between two countries so they handled the case uh with South Africa versus Israel the international criminal court deals with things like war crimes so that's the court that that issue is um before at the moment um okay I'm just going to read through some super chats because I've been ignoring them this entire time I hope that's okay uh stop scamming man said one of Humanity's best ideas is that of designating certain transgressions as war crimes and crimes against humanity red lines even when fighting an entity ruled by evil people I completely agree um and I think AP it sounds like you are also in that frame of mind that having a
58:52 reference for what a war crime is is you know a good thing not a bad thing yeah it is it is although um it's pretty useless at this point it looks like yeah why do you think it's useless at this point I mean look what Hamas did on October 7 uh do you see the world you know uh being on their necks and you know uh and and and pressuring all the authorities to hold Hamas responsible for this no people are uh attacking Israel right now that's a really good point because you know we've a lot of us have seen the footage I mean it it was blatant and undeniable that the actions taken by Hamas would in no doubt constitute a war crime um and is not a
59:38 valid form of resistance why do you think that people are so hypocritical of Israel and their actions and their response to a terrorist attack but we're not really hearing much of that criticism directed towards Hamas and their war crimes why do you think that is I was goingon to give my knee-jerk reaction to that about that's what I'm here for I don't know because people are hypocrites um because people are mentally unwell and have very very twisted uh standards which is why also when responding to people who are offended or who say oh you you know you shouldn't be supporting Israel and I see them
1:00:23 actually just ify and support defend deflect from things that Hamas did for example I think excuse me why would I give a [ __ ] about what you think and and what you say when when people comment they don't say anything about 7 or they think oh it was uh you know Act of resistance and then they accuse Israel of war crimes and say excessive killing excessive damage uh and act like they feel bad about people dying my response is why would I give a [ __ ] about what you are saying what what happened on October 7 happened right in front of our eyes it was an attack against civilians specifically against
1:01:08 civilians the most brutal things were done to civilians we have records of them we have the files we have photos we have videos that they themselves uh took we have videos of these Hamas bastards uh screaming and going woohoo while there are uh there are civilians including women by the way um burnt dead limbs shot off lying in in in the middle of the street in the middle of the road and these Hamas bastards are happy about it that are filming it and cheering about it and throwing them around and in other videos stomping on their heads repeatedly trying to behead uh them and so on we we see all of these things and people really want to justify that
1:01:56 or ignore that and then they want to talk about uh Israel's response [ __ ] you and your and your feelings and your objections and whatever you care about uh yeah so just to kind of summarize you feel that their uh commentary and criticisms are essentially invalid because of that hypocrisy that they're not realizing I mean if if somebody justifies October 7 and then speaks of war crimes when they come to uh what Israel is doing I would say no yeah total uh total hypocrisy and supporting of ter supporting terrorism and hate and all kinds of vile things I can't explain it otherwise because even hostages taking hostages is
1:02:41 a war crime is it is a blatant War crime these people are talking about uh you know um under what conditions the hostages should be released first you should be doing this you should be doing that sorry don't talk about war crimes if you think that there are conditions for the release of hostages taking hostages is a war crime in and of itself executing people uh who have given up even if they are soldiers is a war crime we have plenty of videos where Hamas are filming themselves proudly executing people Point Blank like there's a there are soldiers hiding under a a desk and uh just covering and um not defending themselves at all these bad just go there and just uh execute them with with
1:03:26 multiple gunshots War crime if you are going to accuse you know uh Israel of war crimes but you are going to make excuses for those or Justify them [ __ ] off yeah I think that's pretty fair to say I was really really shocked um at the backlash that I got for condemning Hamas when when October 7th happened right because at the time I was thinking you know surely this is something we all agree on terrorism is [ __ ] you probably shouldn't be going around indiscriminately killing uh civilians and taking them hostage and raping women that to me in my mind was something that should not be seen as contentious something that we should easily all agree is wrong without even having to think about it but the degree
1:04:12 of backlash that I got simply for condemning the horrendous actions of a terrorist group was insane um and especially from people who live in the west who you know they're not Muslim they've never been Muslim but suddenly this conflict has become something that's like making them explore Islam and and want to embrace Islam why do you think the West is romanticizing this conflict so much because people are stupid um young younger people are especially stupid and they uh easily fall for whatever they see on Tik Tok and Twitter and uh and all that where um those demographics that are not specifically bright are also having a big uh presence and are spreading all kinds of uh propaganda especially from
1:05:00 from the Muslim world and from Islamic backgrounds so um of course naturally when people from those backgrounds ideologically come there and spread their propaganda and then these other stupid people who are like spaes just take everything in you end up with them uh defending terrorists uh I mean you had just a few months ago people on Tik talk um Bin Laden thing AMA Bin Laden yeah what the [ __ ] I can can you imagine um being can you imagine in in in in in 2001 like after the attack happened after 911 happened a bunch of Western young people going around and saying oh actually I read what as B Laden said and totally makes sense wow no that would be unimaginable
1:05:47 unimaginable had to ban the hash letter to America because these kids were just eating up everything they were fed on Tik Tok and no critical thinking skills whatsoever to actually reflect on why this guy was labeled a terrorist what did this guy actually do it's it's scary to see um how easily man how impressionable this current younger generation is when it comes to social media yeah yeah of course he did take responsibility um for flying planes into uh into buildings and killing thousands of people but hey have you ever listened to why he did that and his grievances wow man just as if there is a grievance out
1:06:34 there that makes it justifiable to commit an act of terrorism like what are you talking about I would say um people pointed this out but I I would say that um October 7 is even worse than 911 in many ways because on 911 what happened is that uh is that you have um it is different in a sense that you have planes flying into buildings and as a result directly and quickly killing thousands of people um whereas on October 7 in Israel um it's a higher percentage of people that aside uh terrorists directly come and walk through the streets come face Toof face with their victims execute them film it all people are suddenly exposed to the
1:07:23 brutalities the cruelties the perpetrators are openly uh acknowledging what they did and praising it and being proud about it and so on uh as traumatic as 911 was October 7 is is is significantly worse uh for Israelis than octo than 911 ever was for Americans and um you have to really put yourself in the position of of Israelis to understand how how messed up that is and Israel is a very small Society of um people basically viewing each other other as a as a as a family as a big family and then these terrorists actually walk in and start taking over so much of the land and killing and kidnapping and torturing everyone they
1:08:09 come across being face Toof face with them having videos of that stuff and then imagine imagine you are in Israeli um imagine your your your best friend or your daughter imagine your daughter was uh is is on a video where she's chased and she's screaming for her life and a Hamas guy comes pulls her hair shoots her in the arm uh puts her on the back of a truck and uh calls her calls her a a concubine in Arabic and then they drive off with her and later you hear that she has been found uh mutilated and dead and
1:08:56 then and then people around the world say oh Hamas are Freedom Fighters it's resistance it's Justice can you imagine how these people are feeling right now and you want to sit here and and and these people want to sit here and act like oh yeah they had a reason for what they did it's scary it really really scares me um I'm going to keep going through the Super Chat stop scamming man thank you so much for the second Super Chat um I think this is an interesting point so they pointed out you know the pleasant nature of people so like you were saying before that you met Israelis obviously when you went there and that there was this warm sort of welcoming um Vibe if you will when when you were there um so stop scamming man says that does not inform how defensively or indefensibly a
1:09:44 country's government and army is conducting a war what do you think about that of course I agree with that uh I'm just I'm just speaking for um Israeli Society if if you just go on social media right now now you can uh or or just look at the news and look at protests you can see all kinds of um all kinds of things that people like people say Israelis are the most racist people in the world somebody who has never even interacted with an Israeli in their life um or you know Israel is an oppressive uh country Israelis hate uh Arabs and so on and then you go there and it's like it's not like that at all what what's very funny is uh I bring this up I because I didn't think about this before but uh you hear so much how Israel um Israelis hate Muslims they hate Arabs they want to get rid of Arabs
1:10:30 they want to hunt them down and things like that and and then you go to Israel and you are greeted with welcome in Hebrew Arabic and English and you walk down the street everything is in Hebrew and Arabic you go on train it's Hebrew Arabic English you hear the call to prayer when you're close to uh to to to Muslim neighborhoods and and things like that nobody has a problem with it like you ask people and nobody actually has a problem with it because they don't think that this is a race problem or a culture problem they're okay with it you know yeah um zagross thank you so much for being here it's good to see you again thank you for the Super Chat I'm pretty sure this is uh him being devil's advocate here but he wants to cut to the
1:11:16 chase so uh AP are you just a sociopath who doesn't care about civilians and who is happy to see uh Palestinian civilians
