Your Diet Plan Is Useless Without This First | Nutritionist Argues

Brief Summary

In this presentation, nutritionist Ryan Fernando shares insights on how to enhance longevity and maintain health, particularly for women. He emphasises the importance of hydration, personalisation in nutrition, and the role of modern science. Key points include the need for careful genetic and health screening, the shift in health focus after certain age milestones, and the benefits of strength training and adequate sleep to support muscle health.

  • Hydration is crucial as the body is primarily composed of water.
  • Personalised nutrition is essential; one size does not fit all.
  • Genetic testing and regular health check-ups can offer vital insights.
  • After 35, the focus should shift from weight loss to maintaining muscle mass.
  • Strength training is a key factor in reversing age effects and improving longevity.

Introduction to Nutrition and Longevity

Ryan Fernando begins by asserting that he is a nutritionist, not a doctor, and discusses how modern science has enabled people to live longer, healthier lives. He stresses the importance of maintaining hydration, as 70% of the human body is water. Ryan invites the audience to consider genetics in their health and explains the scientific basis for personalised nutrition.

Individualised Nutrition: The Importance of Genetics

He elaborates on the concept of "n is equal to one", stating that individual genetic makeup significantly affects dietary needs. Ryan discusses how many people blindly follow popular diet trends without considering their unique genetics and health history. He stresses the need for tailored nutritional plans rather than generic approaches.

Health Screening and Testing

Ryan discusses the value of health screenings and genetic testing for diseases like cancer. He shares a personal story that illustrates the importance of early detection. He encourages the audience not to shy away from testing, asserting that awareness can lead to better health outcomes.

Age and Weight Management

He states that women's health concerns shift after the age of 35, moving from weight loss to weight maintenance and muscle preservation. Ryan uses his wife’s health journey to illustrate how strength training helped her maintain her muscle mass as she aged.

Strength Training as Key to Longevity

He emphasizes that strength training is crucial for maintaining health and preventing muscle decline related to ageing. Ryan highlights that muscle is the main organ for age reversal and shares insights from studies that demonstrate this fact.

Hydration and Quality of Water

Ryan advises changing the water one consumes to ensure better hydration. He discusses the quality of water sources and the potential impact of contaminants from pipes and plastics. He suggests various methods to improve water quality in one’s home.

Healthy Travel Tips

In discussing the impact of travel on health, Ryan notes that a significant portion of life is spent dining out. He offers tips for making healthier food choices while travelling and encourages planning and maintaining a balanced diet even while away from home.

Challenges of Menopause and Nutrition

He addresses how menopause affects women’s hormones and weight management. Ryan discusses the role of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and advises that diet and exercise should be optimised before considering HRT. He stresses the importance of understanding the relationship between dietary habits and hormonal health.

Conclusion: Emphasising Personal Responsibility

Ryan concludes by urging the audience to take control of their health through informed decisions about nutrition and exercise. He reiterates that true luxury lies in maintaining good health and consciousness about ageing.

0:00 I'm a nutritionist. I'm not a doctor. But I'm one of the smartest nutritionists on the planet, which is why I earn the big bucks. So for those of you who don't know why that happens, I will share with you today how I make people 10, 15 years younger. Screening, testing, don't be afraid of it. Modern science is allowing people today to live longer than they have ever lived. I want you not to focus on the weight loss question. The weight loss question here is for the women under 35. If you're under 35, that's where you start. After 35, your question now changes to, "How do I not gain more weight? How do I maintain more muscle [music] in my body?" I'd like to see you take your grandchildren to Disney World and walk

0:46 that 15 kilometers. 70% of you is water. First tip of the day, change the water in your house. Ryan, we're delighted to welcome you here today at Kolkata Flow. We look forward to an afternoon that I'm sure will leave all of us thinking more carefully about our choices. >> Hi. >> Hi. Please come. >> Good evening everyone. >> Thank you man. It's it's working. Good evening everyone and uh thank you for fif to invite me to Kolkata. I brought the rains I guess with a little bit of thunder and lightning. Um when it rains the water is really natural. 70% of you is water. First tip of the day change

1:33 the water in your house. If it can be Ganga jal, it can be a special water that can come into it. If it comes from a spring, if it comes from a mountain, the signature pattern of the water is is different. Scientists are now be able to measure that. So when people come to me and say, "Give me a diet plan. Which diet plan should I take? What supplement should I take?" So, I'm going to answer your questions today, okay? Because I know you'll have a lot of questions uh around here and hopefully I can get about five or 10 questions in today's session. But the first tip that I want to leave you is change the water before I start my presentation. The reason being is 70% of you is water, right? And if you look at any cosmetic treatment, it always involves the

2:21 cosmetologist saying hydration, hydration, hydration, hydration. So as a nutritionist, I'm a nutritionist. I'm not a doctor, but I'm one of the smartest nutritionists on the planet, which is why I earn the big bucks. So for those of you who don't know why that happens, I will share with you today how I make people 10, 15 years younger. So most nutritionists, most dieticians you go to will say weight loss. Today I'm going to keep weight loss here this side. Okay. When we do nutrition, there's something in scientific studies called n is equal to one. So those of you have done science or any scientific experiment, they take a population of people. So if I were to do a population

3:07 on flowfiki, I would analyze around say 150 women. Now if I give a dictart that X supplement is good for these women, it doesn't mean all women in India require that. So what is the basic flaw in society today is that when you see an Instagram reel from America or you see an influencer or your neighbor is following that you're not saying n is equal to one you're trying to find something as a elixir or a promise. So the first basic thing that you can do is you can say is I am unique. What are my genetics and how does my genetics respond to my body? So little bit deep over here not with

3:52 regards to my presentation. Those of you are very spiritual you know that there's the crown chakra. I call it the tata sky dish on top of our head. So there's a spiritual connect with the universe. If your nutrition is bad, if your water is bad, the crown chakra is no matter how much of gaitri mantras you do or hanaman chalesh or the rosaries or the Quran reading that you do doesn't connect. So you need to have very good nutrition for a spiritual connect. You need to have very good nutrition for a body to be able to function in this vehicle of yours. So let me get started on today's thing. And many of you know me as the podcaster, the influencer. No, I am a nutritionist. I had a nutrition clinic far before I had a YouTube channel. Uh

4:41 so when people meet me in the airport like sir, you're the influencer. No, I'm the nutritionist. Uh and what's the differentiation? Today I'm speaking to you as an influencer. But the moment you come and ask me um can you me give me three tips that I need to do, I'll be looking at you very blankly cuz I need your genetics. I need your poop analysis. I need your blood test. I need your functional medicine test. And I need to speak to you for 45 minutes to understand how your child is irritating the hell out of you or your husband. For all the ladies in the group, I'm not answering any men today because we are on this side. Okay. point I'm trying to make to you is that the individuality of

5:26 selection of leading a better and healthier life is exactly like how you ladies choose fashion. There is no two people in this room right now. Look left, look right. Nobody has the same outfit. Nobody has the same watch. You women are very particular about fashion. And in that same premise, I want nutrition to be the same way because then what your neighbor is doing in nutrition doesn't apply to you because maybe you have a PCOD or a thyroid or a bone density problem or a fatty liver problem or a heart disease problem. It's completely different. So my first story to share with you is two years ago uh I told my wife, "Hey babes, uh guy's

6:13 coming for blood test." So she's she's Endu Cutlet. So he'll give blood sample. Any supplement comes to my house, she's the first one to try it. By the way, she's not a nutritionist. She's married to the nutritionist. If so, her name's Dvika. If you see her cupboard, she'll have 32 supplements. I'm like, babs, what are you doing? No, no, no. This one they send to you for analysis. This is the scientific study. I read this. I'm trying it out. So all women like that chase for fashion for elixir for looking young and it's a good thing. So blood test guy came took her blood sample took my blood sample. So the genetic lab that I work with had launched India's first cancer genomic screening.

7:00 So I want to tell you why I did that test. A year prior I had a very famous lady from a very rich family um who was around 37 38 late marriage second marriage uh was childless want married as per her the love of her life and she was so happy they were both happy fertility treatment fertility possible and all eight seven cycles whatever whatever calls me up I'm going to run the x marathon I need to be careful about what I disclose publicly because if I tell the right marathon, people can connect. So anyway, so she's getting ready. Ryan Fernando, I heard you're the best guy for sports nutrition. You work with the top marathon runners and you work blah

7:46 blah blah. I'm like, yeah, okay. So we got preparing. Two weeks later, she calls me up. She says, I've been detected with breast cancer. So what happened is that in the chase to get a child the fertility treatments so I don't know if ladies you know there's the the the breast tissue has estrogen and progesterone types and every woman is different. So based on your hormones you can be categorized to having a higher risk or a lower risk. So anyway those of you have reached 65 70 have not had breast cancer you won the genetic lottery. mommy daddy but for my wife I was like hang on this conversations happen in the clinic but we already had a kid and we didn't want

8:32 another kid and then she went off to u I think it was New York and there the doctor said did you do the cancer screening before you started your fertility treatment oh uh no we didn't and that's when I discovered that you can actually test for this. So now what happens is when we bring this in the lab in India says see Mr. Fernando, nobody in India wants to know. Everyone wants to put it under the rug, right? But the conversation got very interesting with the husband because the husband's now calling all the doctors in the world to save his wife and she's surviving today. She's good and blah blah blah and touchwood. She's really in good health. The reason I'm sharing the stories with you is

9:18 because the husband got traumatized. Very rarely do you ask yourself, is your husband afraid of losing you? Are your children afraid of losing you? Because you put your kids' health and your husband's health above everything else. And so that blood test sneaked into my wife was to do the BRAA 1 BA 2 gene test for her as well as my cancer gene screening. So you can get cancer in two ways. You can get cancer from the environment or you could have it programmed into your genetics. If it's in your genetics, most people don't want to test because I don't want to know. But do you know something? When you know, then that chola bura could be coogling

10:04 inside to create free radical. Free radicals are the taputs which can activate a bad environment which can aggressively promote tumor generation. So the whole story is like this advanced forecasting. How many of you came with umbrellas here today? None of you. You'll all come in cars, right? Gi has an umbrella, right? >> Forecasting. You know it's the monsoon season. We know there is a pandemic of sugar. We know there is fatty liver. We know there is cancer. So what am I trying to advise to you ladies is this screening, testing. Please don't be afraid of it. Screening, testing. Don't be afraid of it. Modern science is allowing people today to live longer than they have ever lived, including

10:49 people with disease, early detection. So what was that scared husband? They caught it so early because they were trying for conception. So he shared with me, Ryan, I'm not worried about my wife wanting a child or not wanting a child. I'm worried about my wife. So the element over there was me understanding that hey we have this genetic lab that does nutrition gene testing, sports gene testing, fitness gene testing but we do not want to do cancer gene testing because India doesn't want to do it. So at the end of the day you don't need to do a cancer gene test unless you first start with the basics. Simple blood test vitamin mineral food intolerance heavy metal. Any of you have done a heavy metal blood test over here?

11:35 Ah so anyone who comes from my VIP plan first thing I ask is heavy metals because you're taking XY Z uh Ayurvedic supplement we don't know if there are heavy metals in that and you're taking it on a regular basis for 10 15 years which aya is very good but the manufacturing of that it's the same thing when you ask me Ryan Fano can I take whey protein huh you can uh but when you take whey protein your gut is bad I forgot to test you for whether your gut tolerates milk or whether that whey protein is a average whey protein or it's a grass-fed organic cow that the chant is removed and then it's dehydrated. So for those of you in fiki flow over here you come from affluent

12:21 background which means roti kapra makan is taken care of. So I start my today's presentation with this which is I want you not to focus on the weight loss question. The weight loss question here is for the women under 35. If you're under 35, that's where you start. After 35, your question now changes to how do I not gain more weight? How do I maintain more muscle in my body? Right? So, uh Dika now is going to be 50 this year, my wife. And so, when I married her, she was 36. She was 56 kgs. She's now 48 kgs, but she's got more muscle at 48 kgs than 56 kgs.

13:08 And that has kept her stable on her weight. Now, can a 60-year-old do this? Can a 70 year old do this. Your first target is not can I do it. The first target is how much muscle do I have as a woman? And can I hold that and can I preserve that? And I could do the best weight loss diet with you, but if you are not stimulating, if you are not stimulating your muscle, it will never be challenged to maintain itself because aging causes you to decline muscle. So what's happening is I see this in my mother uh she chose Saturday she chose a hair cutting appointment over meeting the physiootherapist trainer. I will not

13:53 get another appointment with the hair stylist. Call up the hair. Can you give my mother another slot? Yes sir, I can. Why is she coming on a Saturday when all the executive corporate ladies are coming? She's a retired lady. She can come on Monday to Friday. No, no, she requested specifically for Saturday at 11:00 because of physiootherapy appointments at 11:00. Ryan, what do you want me to do? I'm now 79 years old. Who does this weight training? That fo saying push, push. How much you want me to push? I already pushed you out. You are 26 hours of labor. [laughter] So if I can't convince my own mom, it's going to be difficult to convince a lot of you. But do your own research. Use Google, use chatbt, ask him. Hey Google, what's the best way? I am a 59year-old

14:39 woman. Uh please define to me what are the best ways to preserve muscle. you get an answer and find a good physio why I'm saying physiootherapy trainer because with due respect to a lot of the trainers many of them are not qualified they take on garage certificate and they think they know how to make you lose weight if you choose a physiotherapist they've done medical science so they will know if you have a bad back they will know if you have a bad shoulders like a lot of ladies get frozen shoulders and then the trainers telling you to do overhead press or push-ups and something that you can't do so this is Part one. Okay. And what is what is the first slide message to you? I'd like to see you take your grandchildren to Disney World and walk that 15

15:25 kilometers. I'd like you to do the trek to China. What is that lake called where Shiva's gone? >> Manosvar. Uh it's what? It's 18 18 km then 8 km 8 km up down and then some 23 km everyone takes ponies right I wish upon you to do that as a rockstar athlete whatever age you choose to do it [snorts] so you can't do that overnight it's a three-year journey if you're over 50 years of age it's a fiveyear journey to start your fitness okay so what I want people to do is look at health span

16:11 and you must be watching some of the Instagram videos know can you get on one leg go down and pick up something and come back up or can you squat down and do that um those are the tests that physios and trainers use to check mobility and fitness now you think that person is not me that's a celebrity or that no that can be you and there are so many people out there who have transformed their body and the fastest I've seen is when somebody has suffered from a disease and somehow they have a wakeup call in their head. The rest of us are just like, "Yeah, I've got a good life. I'm going through I can manage this. I don't need to do this. I got no time. I've got too much of focus

16:56 on other people." But the thing about health span is um and I was yesterday at um Evity Wellness and somebody asked me this question like but I don't have time to come here and do all of this cold plunge and stuff like that. So I was like in the night I was just thinking like how do you reply to people on a question like that? I don't have time because even I don't have time right but then I was like hang on almost all women over here will go to the beauty parlor every week maybe once a week maybe twice a week I don't know I'm hang on you have been going to the beauty parlor consistently why

17:43 but you find time to go to the beauty parlor right ah so there is something in your head about the beauty parlor Are you with me on this? >> Yes. >> I my my perspective is because you make the time to go to the beauty parlor, you maintain your level of the beauty aura. It's an investment of your time in the beauty aura. Now I'm bringing in lifespan which is you not going to the beauty parlor when you're 80 years old versus when you meet Ashwar when she's 80 years old. Now you say no Ryan natural beauty. No but you are investing in your visits to the beauty parlor health span. The result

18:30 comes out later. The result comes out later and that's the investment. So those of you are turning 50 this year, you always have that class reunion, right? And you want to look the best at that classroom reunion. So you will do everything possible. It's simple. Don't wait for a 40 milestone, a 50 milestone. Okay, my menopause is over now. Let me start doing something. Okay, the the child has gone to Stanford, so now the house is empty, so I got time on myself. No, you need 1 hour a day. Just like you go to a spa, go find out infrared sauna, infrared light, cryotherapy, cool sculpting. These are the easy things to

19:15 do. Diet, oh my god, it's the most difficult subject science. I will convince you in a private counseling in a group. I can't convince you. After this session, if there is a nice chart or panipuri outside, So how I've become successful is the ability to put measurement points. Has this person done this blood test? Has they done the gen have they done the genetic test? Have they done this? What happens is they come and question me on on their own. So for example, there's this group of guys in Mumbai who came on a plan and I made all of them wear the whoop. Now none of them are a

20:01 Virat Kohli. Why Ryan Fo? Why are you wearing a whoop? Because I do 1 hour of fitness. But you know what it does? It keeps calling me out on my going to bed late because I'm watching TV. It tells me how many how much recovery I've got. This one device when people are drinking on the weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday shows your Whoop score on SWS sleep. Ladies, you want to listen to this S SWS sleep. You any of youall have Apple watches over here? Apple or Whoop. Wow, quite a lot. Uh what about Whoop? A few. Um all the devices have the sleep tracker in them. Wear it for 10 days. There is when you open up that sleep app, it'll show SWS sleep, sine wave

20:49 sleep. Researchers found out SWS sleep is the sleep that releases stem cells. Ah, you know what are stem cells? Stem cells are the beauty cells. Your skin has gotten old. Stem cells go. So every part of your body is not old, it's rejuvenating. You may be a 60 year old, but that liver is not 60 years old. It's gotten new. So are you with me? Stem cells. So all of you live in nice houses. If you're doing renovation, right? So I just had lunch with mani before I came in over here. So I went to a beautiful washroom and I was like, hm,

21:36 nice marble in this wash basin. This marble is light. It's got light in it and light was coming. That's a brand new uh thing about four or five years old lesser but the house is quite older right so now you went and found the right raw material right so the house looks big and span and brand and new and everything stem cell so Mani has got the stem cell is change got all the raw material stem cell in your body sleep longer release more stem cells great point one in your head. Johnny Walker, Gold Gapa, street food, street chart, raw material coming into your house. Are you with me?

22:21 So my job is not to give you a diet plan. My job is to change the way you see the quality of procurement in your house, organic, how healthy it is. Ryan, is chia seeds better or basil seeds better? I am not going to say which is better. I'm trying to figure out what makes you younger. Now, here's the thing. Okay, so let me take a food. Let's say guava. I don't know how many of you know, but amut has a lot of vitamin C. >> Lot of vitamin C, right? But if you eat six vit six guavas a day, your sugar level of fructose has gone through the roof. So, it's actually not good for

23:07 you. But one guava is quite good. Somebody might shout out in the back, I'm allergic to guava. Switch to amla. My process to you is this very simple in health span. You're looking to change your shopping in your house organic. What works on my gut? So test which foods are not working for you. Look at blood test for deficiency. So today's lecture is more about not trying to find the perfect food but trying to find what will work for you. So I want to add life to your ears. So in my clinic where I practice and we have a clinic here in Kolkata my birth certificate age is 51.

23:53 My media manager just corrected sir you are not 50 or 51. Like okay I'm 51. when I stand on our metabolic scale, my birth certificate uh my uh metabolic clinical age is 36. Now what I want to do is give you the same thing. So my wife stands on the scale at 48 kgs. So BB is 50 years of age. Metabolic age is at 42. So the marker there is muscle mass and certain things with squat and all of that stuff, fitness, V2 max and all which your exercise variables will help you out on. This is very achievable. Now why we do it is because it's a side effect of our business. We're supposed to inspire people, right? So um I can't

24:39 open a restaurant. I'm too skinny to be a to to to convince you to come and eat. So I became a nutritionist, right? So we convince people you can change the way you eat. So this is the criteria that I start with. The sleep is the easiest thing of longevity and trust me I know your husbands will wake you up in the morning cuz some many of them get up before you like why you still sleeping. Okay. So uh you can record me right now. Guys please allow your wives to sleep longer. They need their beauty sleep. So the reason we put together in our clinic why as Indians we may be aging faster and these are some of the reasons but I

25:25 didn't put up my main reason over here is if you're born in a fitnessincclined family so like many of you today when I said you said you work out your ch your daughters and your grandchildren will actually be fit. because they see you do that, right? So, the most important of those of you below 40 in this room, you've got to lead by example on showing your children that you work out, especially if you have daughters because if they see the mother working out, they're going to start working out. Now, you might argue with me saying that, but my mother never worked out, but your your mother never had Swiggy and Zomato. They ate out once in 10 days.

26:11 because Dadima thought that the restaurant didn't serve correct food. So the whole point over here is that as times change our guards need to be up like I'll give you a simple example okay in all of this my on on Sunday my brother comes home to my house my parents live with me so Sunday is this thing where the whole family comes together and uh we order from out my brother always thinks I have got a rod up my ass you never eat from outside food we'll order and you won't eat and this and that and all this stuff. What's wrong with you? And all and he's my younger brother. Okay. So, he goes left, right, and I'm like, "Dude, I'm a nutritionist. You're ordering from the restaurant. What is the quality of food in the restaurant?" So, he thinks I'm very what you say,

26:58 holier than thou. Like, you know, that food is not worthy of me. But think about it. If you and I ran a restaurant together, if we made an omelette together, I'd ask you for rangefree organic chicken. My chicken when he makes that egg will be fed ashwagandha, brahmi, shankar, pushpi. So the anda is vegetarian and is super good and it's intellectual and then my brain doesn't you know forget. So my omelet now costs 700 rupees. All of you are entrepreneurs here. You have to mark it up at least three times. Kitchen car cost, labor cost. So So who can sell a omelette for 2,000 bucks? That's why when you eat at a five fivestar hotel, you have seen the cost of food is quite expensive. Let me share

27:44 a secret with you uh one of India's best um refrigeration uh companies which couer food into India. One of my clients uh he's one of my clients he says Ryan only the five stars certain five stars in India import from Scandinavia and from Japan. And he said the freight bill in that is so profitably expensive that those dishes cannot cost lesser than 1,500 rupees. So we all eating out quality of dish is what? Quality of air, quality of water, quality of food. So yours and my stem cells and the only thing that you can control is the knowledge up here, the choices that you make. So my job has never been to

28:29 convince you to take a diet plan. Diet plan is very easy. I can give it to you and tell you to follow the blueprint. You know how it is. You're building a new house. You get the best architect and say, "Design my house." He'll draw it here. The the job starts when he tells you in your bathroom what marble to source from where, what quality and which to cut and how to lay it out and how the light will fall on that marble. That is the problem with the diet plans today. You'll get a diet but you can't follow it because you have spent maybe the last 20 30 40 50 60 70 years and if there's an 80 year old in the audience following love and culture for eating what I'm

29:15 talking today is science. So somewhere between love and culture food eating science has to come into your life. The older you are the more difficult it is. My mother calls up her sister. My son is like uh one school principal over here. He doesn't allow me to eat this. He doesn't allow me to eat that. My father tells his brother, "Yeah, man. These guys don't even allow me to eat anything." So, I pick up the phone from my father and talk to his youngest brother who happens to be my godfather. Like, godfather, your brother just beat cancer. No. And this and this and now he's walking and huh? Yeah. It's because of diet. Give the phone back to him. 6 months later, same uncle, youngest brother gets cancer. Stage four prostrate. Godfather, I'm taking charge of you

30:00 completely. I recruited his son who put him under prison sentence cuz love and culture for eating is there, right? We brought in the science from the younger generation. Complete prison sentence for my uncle. He beat fourth stage cancer. Dutchwood. Thank you a lot. Diet plays an important role in rejuvenating the body. So it's not about weight loss. I am about finding the best diamonds in nutrition for your body from a personalized basis. Okay. So, how often should I eat out? Please go out and eat often, but choose the restaurant. And if you have the luxury to hire a chef and buy your own produce and entertain in your

30:46 own house, that is the perfect thing you can do. That is the that is in my opinion the new Ferrari, the new Louis Vuitton of entertaining your own produce and some of my clients even have uh Daisy and uh and so Daisy is the name of a cow. You getting my joke? They have their own cow. So the the produce is controlled. So it's a perfect ghee. It's a perfect uh they've been making cheese, right? So, it's a joke in the family and that's luxury, right? How many people can go out and say I have my own cow. So, what have I learned from everyone? So, this is a Bengali lady,

31:32 her name is Mahashweta. Um, gained weight, went through a divorce, blah blah blah blah. I met her as a marathon runner. Uh this is two days after this is two days after she completed marathon the Sabl. This is where you see the power of women physical power of women. Marathon Sablas is a 6- day race across the Sahara where you do around 50 to 60 kilometers per day in the Sahara and you carry your own food for the six days and I know many of you are thinking like I will not eat for 6 days. The race organizers make you plan a 2,000 calorie

32:19 diet per day to be carried on a rucks sack and you go through the race. It's the most grueling race in the world. It's in Atakama. It's in uh the Sahara and it's won in another part of the world. MDS. Okay. She completed you can see the tan on her legs. So I went to visit her in her house. Now why am I sharing this with you? She had all the possible issues that a person could have. But one fine day, she said, "You know what? I'm going to I'm going to start running and I love this running." So that's what she started doing. For me, her journey is about accountability to herself. So she started prioritizing her life. So when you start doing this, this is when

33:05 you start asking the right questions. So I'll give you a simple example. Uh for those of you who color your hair, when you go to the stylist for the first time, you do the recommendation that they do, but after three four coloring sessions, you kind of become an expert of what works or what doesn't work on you. I want the same thing in nutrition for you. I worked with Virat Kohli. One lesson that I took from this gentleman was the greatness to be the best is first in your attitude of changing your choices. So all of you know that he would have been or he was non-vegetarian and then changed into a vegetarian athlete.

33:52 There was I forgot the name of the documentary. Those of you interested, a game changers if I'm not mistaken. There's a documentary called Game Changers which actually documented how veganism enhanced the performance of the athletes. The documentary is very nice and I had this whole group of about 15 20 youngsters who came to me much before Virat Kohl's time Ryan we want to do veganism. I'm not saying veganism is something you should try. But it was very interesting on how the discovery was inflammatory markers really dropped. So for me as a nutritionist, we do the genetic testing, the food intolerance and the microbiome, the poop testing, and then we check the resting heart rate. So those of you who have a Whoop

34:39 or an iPhone, if you go to your resting heart rate and click over there and see 6 months, you want your resting heart rate to not go up and down like this in 6 months. You want it to come downwards. Okay? You've Singh battle cancer. There's a nutrition plan today. Why? Because after medical treatment, your body gets blasted. And you need to be more disciplined than an armadi person. So what I mean by amadmi those who have not suffered from any disease so far. So if you have gone through any surgery the idea is you need to be more specific on your nutrition choices. So a lot of

35:24 people who have gone through cancer therapy or bypass gastric surgeries the gut is the first one to suffer. the gut just gives up in you says I don't want to I don't want to uh cooperate with you anymore I'm just going to start giving you loads of problem and a lot of times people continue to eat traditionally right so uh my dad had uh gallstones uh we did a procedure put a stent in and all and I'm in the the do I'm sitting in the room doctor comes in uh and my father's a foodie So everything happens. Doctor, yeah, he go and go home in four five days and stuff like that. So he so my father asked him um so doctor what

36:10 can he eat? Oh Mr. Fernando you can eat everything for I stood up. Doctor can I ask you a question? Why did he get call stones? Because the crystals are there of cholesterol and all and they go there and they cryst Why did he get cholesterol? Uh because it is there like how much of how much of it comes from diet? 30%. Right. So, I have a question, doc. If he's overeing and eating the wrong foods, will he get more gallstones? Oh, yes. It'll definitely happen again. Why are you asking him to eat whatever he wants? So, I need people to understand diet is therapeutic. Unfortunately, unlike a medicine which you take on one day. So, if I have a

36:55 headache and I take a dispin, headache goes. But if I have a magnesium deficiency and take a magnesium, my headache will not disappear. It will take me around two months of taking magnesium consistently for me to solve my imbalances. Which is why sometimes IV infusions work really well. So yesterday I did an IV infusion while delivering a lecture. So uh I must say kunal um I asked for glutathione and vitamin C and I went to sleep at 12:30 at night. At 6:00 in the morning, I was wide awake. Like I felt like a million bucks, right? An IV infusion is a rocket booster for great nutrition. Then come nutritional supplements, then come superfoods, and then comes dal chaval

37:40 roti. Am I advocating going straight to the rocket? No. Uh the equivalent is you buy a 1975 Ambassador from Kolkata, right? You put Mercedes-Benz wheels on it, right? You don't change the engine. Now you put Mercedes-Benz fuel in it and expect it to run my Mercedes-Benz. So what people do today is they come up to me and say, "Mr. Fernando, what do you think of creatin? Mr. Fernando, what do you think of NMN? Mr. Fernando, what about collagen? Mr. Fernando, I heard that my doctor's giving glutathione uh supplement. What about it?" They're all great guys, but Dal Chavi 1975 ambassador. I don't think I need to complete that statement. So the women are a little

38:27 touchy about me talking in public about them. So I've done a few film stars and all but yeah, they're very touching because you can't share like what are the things men are like yeah Ryan it's okay. So with with Farin Khan and does gender for diet male and female differ? Yes, outcomes are slower in women. So, if you're looking to do a transformation, give yourself 3 years, please. Because you have the husband, you have the kids, you also have your hormones. Those of you are below 50, you'll be having your periods and cycles. And then as 40 to 50, the parameopause, post 50, menopaused. The hormonal structure for women, nature has made it in such a way that you will store more fat.

39:14 Why? You have a menration cycle, you release something called estrogen. The sister of estrogen is fat. So when your estrogen drops, your sister says, "Buddy, don't worry. I want to be your friend. I'll help you maintain your estrogen production by piling on more fat to you." So if you see in our clinic I have clients who are in their 25 to 35 with me for a decade and then they go away and they're very happy and everything and suddenly at 42 to 45 column I need to take a plan with you immediately. Now what happened? Suddenly 5 kg fat came out because they're on the specialized weighing scale. So they have the fat percentage scale at home and suddenly in a year or two they have seen a 5 kg sudden rise in fat percent. It's

40:00 because menopause is coming. Is there a solution? Yes. weight train. Okay. So before you have that, so those of you who are under 35, please have that weighing scale which measures body fat percentage. Stand on it once every 15 days. I want don't want to give you anxiety. Don't take the fat percentage test. Don't take the fat percentage test um about 5 days before your period. Take it around the seventh day after the start of your cycle or 14th day. That's a good point. where where ovulation happens that's the best point to take any body assessment uh uh and uh I normally do blood tests around the 14th day. So these are the things that if you if I

40:47 work with you I will I kept talking about muscle here today I also talk about hormone health brain health and metabolic health this I have started seeing a rapid decline postco lot of women complaining to me that they're good but they earlier they had a like a razor sharp memory but postco they're finding that there are slips in memory and stuff like that. Brain fog and stuff like that. So what I do is I asked you to have more oxygen easier said than done but more oxygen means you have to work out. So one biohacking method could be to do hyperbaric chamber which is called a

41:34 Hbot. So you sit in a chamber, you close the chamber and it increases the pressure in the chamber, atmospheric pressure, pushes more oxygen into your system. That allows your brain to work whilst you do breathing exercises. So that's one thing. The second thing is that um a lot of people's genetically in India are deficient in choline. So a lot of my women if they're not allergic to soya, I give them a soy protein isolate. That's a great protein. Now in India there is no GMO. So I'm I'm more happy you eating the edimami beans or the soy chunks or miso tofu tempeh which are made in India because they're non GMO something coming from abroad. We don't know whether there's GMO in that crop but somebody recently met me and says

42:19 most of the soybean grown in the world for food consumption is non GMO but I don't know who to believe. So I try and find it more naturally than anything else. Metabolic health is massive. If you have a CGM, you put a CGM device on you. So, um, not because you're diabetic. You put a CGM and then start eating your favorite foods. See which one give you a spike. Okay. So, um, and it's a very nice experiment. Okay. So, you can put a CGM on you and find out half a mango slice, one mango or two mangoes give you a sugar spike. And it varies from person to person. So sometimes it's like for a lot of women it's like sheer joy when they realize they can take a dark

43:04 chocolate and eat five six pieces and they don't see a sugar spike. And there are some women who buy the wrong dark chocolate. So there's a leading Indian brand I'll not take the name and that brand says dark chocolate on the full thing but if you turn it behind it it says 50% sugar. So they are using dark chocolate. Yeah, somebody in the audience just mouththed it out and you were right. So basically at the end of the day, you need to know the labels on the food and that's where your metabolic health will help you out. Okay. Few things that I want you to be aware of. I need you to buy I need you to buy the weighing scale that has

43:51 visceral fat percentage. Kunal, do you have a inbody assessment machine? You have one outside. So any good gym, any good longevity clinic will have a body assessment scale. Once every 15 days, go and get your muscle and fat percentage. In a year, you will have 24 assessments to see your trend line. If you see muscle dropping, you know you have started aging. You can stop aging at this first point. having that data. Okay, please fix your sleep. Uh thyroid is a huge problem in India. Um it's actually because there's a thyroid nutritional deficiency.

44:36 So um somehow the iodine is low, the B complex is low, the iron is low, the selenium is low. If you are nutritionally sound through your pregnancy and through your entire life, most thyroid issues are nutritionally driven. The other thing you want to be looking at, and this is more for the younger, those of you have already got a thyroid problem and 10 years of thyroid problem have not seen a reversal very easily. But those of you are younger or if you have daughters, uh mostly the women are more affected. You need to know whether you're giving a tapot to your thyroid which is basically you look for the anti-TPO antibodies which is a thyroid antibbody which basically somebody attacking your thyroid. So by the way do you know food attacks your

45:23 thyroid. So certain foods which you are not evolutionwise supposed to eat but because you're living in this part of the world and you didn't decide to be born into that family but you do not know your great great great grandmother grandfather's genetics right you're eating that food so basically at the end of the day you want to be looking at any antibodies towards attacking your thyroid I get all the girls that come to my clinic so if you come to me as a mother if you have a daughter I'm like Please test your daughter for food intolerances. Sorry, let's try and avoid those foods. Like today, I was just being asked a question. Somebody came up to me and says, "I'm lactose intolerant." I said, "Don't have milk." So, another lady heard is like, "Don't have milk."

46:08 Right? So, it's unheard of, but maybe ask yourself this question. Could some of our medical problems come because we're eating the wrong food just because it's been prescribed in your family and just because your mother or your grandmother or the great grandmother ate that could I would ask maybe it's not agreeing with you because of the composition of how you were born how genetic transference happened there are various things so please test osteopenia something that I want to talk about bone mineral density Please, please, please, please do your bone mineral density. Let me tell you why. By chance you break your ankle, your femurss or your hip, you cannot go

46:55 to Disney World tomorrow. Gone. Once you break it once, I can't ask you to walk 10,000 steps a day because it's broken because you have had a whole life history of your bones getting weaker and weaker and weaker. So, please, please, please, please, please do your bone mineral density. In fact, ma'am, I would request you as part of your group, do a camp where you can get somebody to get everyone's bone mineral density tested and do jabarasi before you enter Ryan Fernando's event. Put your foot in that we will check bone mineral density. Dexa scan, have you heard of that? Do you all do anything, Kunab? >> You'll do BMD. So, please figure it out. I'll tell you why. If you break your bone, uh, okay, I'm I'm going to put somebody on the spot over here. Has anyone broken

47:41 an ankle or a leg or something like that? >> Yeah. Anybody? How much did you pay for uh how much did you pay for all of the Did you have to do surgery but a cast and all? How much did you pay for all the medical bills and everything? About 30,000 rupees long time back. Okay, let me put it at 20,000 rupees, right? Was it an inconvenience for five or 6 weeks and does it hurt still today? Ah, so now I want you to start hierox. Now what's your thought process? Oh my god. Your first front to me was like what about my leg? Anyone who's not broken their leg, I only have to deal now with the psychological counseling there. I have to deal with the physiological. So

48:27 imagine if you're 55 year old and you've come to me and it's like ma'am menopause because this this psychological and physiological scar is there. So those of you are young please invest in your bone mineral density. Check that out. I think I'm going to overshoot my time. These are the tests that I would like you to do. Uh I'm sending you a QR code where you can ask for these tests. I will send you the link. You can take a photograph also if you wish. Dexa gives you fat percentage. Omega-3 will keep younger, fitter. In fact, I've seen women who have a higher omega. Who's omega3? Omega3 is a fatty acid. Uh in the

49:14 vegetarian sources, walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, and vegan the vegetarian algae in the ocean have omega3. So, you should take a nutritional supplement of it. One in one in 2,000 women will be allergic to algae, but most can take it. How much of omega3? Aim for 3 to four grams of omega per day. Okay? Those of you on blood thinners or any medical condition, I'm not a medical doctor. I'm a nutritionist. But because people's diets are so irregular or in discipline, >> a nutritional supplement, a nutritional supplement is a nutritional convenience for your nutritional indicisipline. Can I repeat that again? >> Yes.

49:59 >> A nutritional supplement is a nutritional convenience for your nutritional indisipline. >> So if you make your diet really clean, you may not require the supplement. But those of you are 55 plus, I would give you at least five or six nutritional supplements after looking at your blood test. It's the equivalent of maybe putting a little bit of lip gloss and eyeliner, mascara. Even if you're a 75 year old woman, you will still do it. It's the same thing with a nutritional supplement. Okay. Um if you want to live longer there is a secret that the film stars have shared with me. The secret is this 365 days in a year. So 365 into three

50:47 meals a day is about thousand plus meals. So basically what they do is they allow themselves only 100 Revalry meals which go for a toss. So that's if you take Sunday 52 Sundays in a year. So you do lunch and dinner Sunday. The rest of the time they are disciplined in diet, disciplined in sleep, disciplined in everything else. So a lot of them what they do is they don't take the Sundays. They actually put a block week to Maldes or to seashells or to Switzerland and they take that 10 days off. All I tell them is before they go for a holiday stand on the weighing scale tell me your fat percentage right

51:32 go for the enjoy your alcohol enjoy what you want to do full barbadi to your system go ahead come back tell me your fat percentage if it has gone up by more than 1 kg of fat so people come to me and say I want to lose 10 kgs after my vacation it's not physiological possible and those who are promising you are making you lose water look at your fat percentage okay So more protein in your diet. Why more protein? Protein gives your muscle the power to work out. Protein keeps you fuller, right? And basically when you have a higher carbohydrate diet, muscle is being like by you are not taking care of me. So when

52:17 we do dietary call with clients, so ma'am at u so after dinner what do you do? Uh no nothing. I talk to my husband. I go for a walk and all. Then after that, do you eat any? No, I don't eat any. Huh? Yes. Then I do my night routine. Okay. Guy know what is night routine? I will first take off this and I'll put the night cream this that and that's a common thing, right? Everyone does that care to the body, right? Protein is that if I can give protein the equivalent to your night care, protein is a night care equivalent to your muscle. I don't want you to eat protein at night. What I'm trying to say is the the the discipline you have to take care of your of your skin at night. You know, put a cream on the hand

53:05 castor oil. I'm like asking my wife, what are you doing? Then some cotton thing on her eyes, you know. But this is a this is a routine from millions of women. Whether you're rich or you're poor, everyone does something. Do that with protein for your muscle and you will live longer. Okay. Strength train. Anushka Sharma. We did her complete diet for her pregnancy and uh when the child was born um I I still remember we started like in the so we came to know even before everybody else right. So like Ryan we need to do this. We did everything started the diet. What was the goal? Indian families say you need to eat for two people.

53:51 That's the first mistake. You don't need to eat for two people. There is a calculation. Now I don't see many young mothers in this audience. All of you are already mothers. But if your daughters are there, please don't tell them to eat twice because most of you have ended up over there. And if you take personal offense, I don't care. It's mathematically and physiologically wrong. There is a calculation and we did that calculation for this celebrity for every week on how much should be the weight gain for her and the doctor can measure the growth of the fetus and you will see people who overeat. Doctor will then ask you to slow down on eating at around the fifth

54:38 month. Baby's head is too big, gestational diabetes. All because eating was programmed by a simple love and culture. So you need to eat correctly. Now there are also women who undereat. That's also a problem. But the the issue over here is that when we finished she was at the perfect weight gain for pregnancy and then when she's had a role to get into there was a target. So post pregnancy weight loss was governed by a diet for breastfeeding as well as strength training and she lost the highest amount of fat percentage and came back within 6 months

55:25 to shoot her movie because there was the strength training. Yes, I know there's postpartum depression and all of that stuff. Every woman behaves differently but one thing is that food can be scientifically planned so that your exit from pregnancy is great but more importantly what worked for her was a really brilliant trainer in terms of strength training I'm past my babies they're already in college how does it work for me strength training will work for you at any point in your life if you are put a gun to my head and said, "Mr. Fernando, please choose between diet, which is your core business, and strength training as a recommendation. You can choose only one. I'd select strength training

56:12 because once you strength train, you'll start getting fitter. Your next automatic question is hydration because strength training tightens up, tones your body, builds your muscle. Many of you have seen that uh grandmother working out and all 75 Instagram real 70 year old 80-y old they happen to be the mothers of fitness trainers and all and they start powerlifting and all and those people are actually really powerful. So here's the final tip for today. Muscle is the only age reversal organ. Muscle is the only age reversal organ. So in America there was this old age

56:59 home. Okay. So let's say this this part of the audience was one old old age home. They told them hey guys you are 70 plus we are going to give you uh ludo bingo uh scrabble housy to play every evening in the basement. The other scientific study they put a gym in the basement. These old people are like what those people are getting all entertainment. We have to go to the gym and do leg extension. 6 months later they did a biopsy. Biopsy means they took a needle tissue sample and they did a tissue sample of the scrabble guys. They found out the people who did 6 months of weight training had reversed their age by up to 6 years.

57:46 They became 6 years younger in the muscle. That study is where I convince people muscle is the only age reversal organ and this has been proved which is why when you see those who are athletes when they're 70 or 80 they're much younger. So ladies and gentlemen, strength training in today's lecture is one of the most important things. You know coming here to teal it was it was very nice to be received and uh warm welcome by Fiki. Thank you so much for having me here today. Luxury today is no longer the house you live in, the car you own, the diamonds you have. True luxury is a

58:32 consciousness that you can maintain a certain agelessness if their word does exist. Because when I meet you at 70 years of age, the acumen, the thought and the physicality of your body are two things that you control. Unfortunately, money can't buy that. You have to work for it. whether you're rich, average or poor. So my lecture to you would be wake up and make more decisions which invest towards a better health in your body. And that's truly a luxury. You can scan this QR code. What this QR code will do is it will allow you to fill in

59:18 a form and if you do any blood tests it will guide you on what are the blood tests you pro probably should be doing. My team can help you out get that blood test done if you want to do and why I start with a blood test is because you ask questions on what can I do next. Those of you who want to meet up with me I don't practice in Kolkata but I have a nutrition clinic in Kolkata. You can reach out to Ryan Fernando's clinic and we can do that. I think I'll take a few questions with permission. Yeah, >> good question. So, the lady asked me and this pertains to everyone. She asked me the question, you recommended food intolerance blood test. Do these results change over a period of time? Yes and

1:00:04 no. First, I'll answer yes. You see sometimes when we eat foods that are doing giving us a slap intolerant the gut gets leaky. So, so imagine if I didn't have an invite over here today. What would I do? I would come there and say can I enter in? The doorkeeper say no invite. So what I'll do is I'll do some tamasha and all and I'll break some other door and come inside. That's a leaky gut. So over a period of time of taking this badmash type of thing they become gundas. So these gundas start finding a backd dooror into your body and create inflammation. So when you avoid these gundas in your

1:00:49 diet the the security system in your body heals up. When this does not reverse is if you have inherited certain amino acids or certain molecules in your body that are genetically seeded in your code. Like I ate gluten all my life as a goan. I never thought that my adult acne or my going to toilet four times a day was a problem. When I did my genetic testing, it says my genes do not accept gluten. When I decided to eliminate gluten, there was an improvement in my entire health. But even till today, if I eat gluten, I will get massive headaches 24 hours later. If I continue for 3 or 4 days, my nose gets

1:01:35 blocked out completely. If I continue for another two more days, I get massive acne back again at the age of 50. So certain things are coded in in our genetics and it cannot be changed. Why didn't my parents have this problem? They had these problems. there was never science or a Ryan Fernando to discuss them at that time. Now there's more awareness and and it's you know how I like to give a a good example is uh uh in the olden days you carried a car umbrella to your car right like everyone is saying today my car comes with an umbrella in the door so evol evolution of time so I hope I've answered your question right >> yes >> so uh during menopause the estrogen level goes down and there is something called hormone replacement therapy

1:02:23 Earlier it the doctors used to not recommend it but now the doctors are recommending it. What is your take on it? Should it be uh should the hormone replacement therapy be done or can some sort of food or the protein or muscle the strength uh training can that help in increasing the level of estrogen? >> A very very good question. First thing um as a nutritionist um I'll answer this question personally. So for my wife as she moves towards menopause we know that hormones are dropping functional hormones replacement has been practiced in the US for the last 15 years. Now peptide science which are the

1:03:10 hormones has become even better. So yes, doing the replacement of hormones with hormonal therapy is a thumbs up. What are the riders? You should do it with a qualified doctor or a functional medicine expert. when they do it, I would only advise you to test for your cancer gene markers and food allergy markers and heavy metals and any deficiencies. So when all of this is correct and you start a HRT, none of these are going to come from a back door and kick you because this was one thing that was working well naturally. Now you're bringing in something. So uh a lot of

1:03:57 times when women undergo HRT therapy I ask them have you got your diet in place because that's your question can I do it naturally diet cannot be so super successful that it can be hormone stimulating to a certain extent like we have something known as seed cycling in in in hormone cycles. So you eat certain types of food in the first seven days, certain types of food in the next seven sorry first 14 days and next 14 days. Lutal and uh uh we we follicular phase we have got different types of seed cycling. So I have a team of dieticians who work on female health. Short answer, yes, please explore it. Ryder, please do all the tests that could activate say a cancer or something

1:04:43 like that. So you're in the clear and then you're living younger. >> But uh they say that you also gain weight because of HRT. And what if somebody scared to try out HRT and is there an option of >> millions of women have never done HRT? Okay. So I can't be a judge saying that HRT is also mandatory. At the same time I can't say that if you don't do it that it'll be it's beneficial of not doing anything when people gain weight. The premise is that you are maintaining your current condition which is taken to a certain level. So it's like you got a car you've driven it rationally your entire life. Now suddenly you know the car is kind of like getting needs some maintenance and all HRT. So you send it

1:05:28 to the mechanic and say mechanic was go repair. You have not changed your driving technique of the last 20 years of having a menration cycle which is your eating your exercise your thinking. Now you take you the HRT mechanic repairs your car now you take it out but you're driving the old way. So like oh you got weight gain because it is a natural production pro progression of how you've driven your entire life. What I am saying as a nutritionist change the driving technique go to a driving school learn the correct way of driving which is eating sleeping exercising then add the HRT and then uh and that's how you do it and and these are a lot of successful people who come to us they take about four to

1:06:13 five years to first get their eating habits in order exercise habits in order and slowly as they move towards menopause okay what 90% of India that comes to us like plan weight loss The goal is weight loss because that's what aesthetically makes you look good. But once people move beyond that equation, it's not about the weight loss. Weight loss can be controlled, can be absolutely controlled. And I'll give you a simple example. Me and my wife went for a movie that day. Michael Jackson. >> I'm standing there, she buys a popcorn bucket. And I look at her, I'm like, Ryan, don't say anything, okay? She works out really hard. She does everything. Popcorn bucket. So I went and I took on photographs. So they have actually given calories over there right uh it was 550 rupees for a popcorn

1:07:00 bucket first my head is like ply 550 then I was okay here margin of the mall and this and that okay 470 calories do you walk ma'am >> yeah um how much do you walk 1 hour >> 40 minutes or 1 hour how many calories do you burn in an hour have you ever checked you're not checked right you will not burn more than 160 calories if You do I'll give you a nutrition plan free of cost. You measure it 160 calories popcorn kalia 400 plus calories walking. Now you will say no no the the story I'm trying to play to you is we do not know how many calories come in our food. We

1:07:45 do not know how many calories we burn. I gained 2 kgs of body fat April to to June. I share it with my media manager. 2 kgs. Why? Ryan Fernando loves mango. You want to bribe me? Mangoes. I ate six mangoes a day. >> I love mangoes. It's an addiction. It's a drug. You You give me alcohol nature. Mango. Oh, now here's the thing. Why am I sharing this with you? The 2 kg weight happened in one month of eating six mangoes a day. Body fat percentage, I saw it change. So now what I'm doing, I'm trying to work out. So what I did, I went to the gym. Have you all seen in the gym there's something called stair master? That stair climbing thing. I'm

1:08:32 going to climb 20 flights of stairs. Started climbing. 20 flights of stairs. Fully tired and I went full speed. Okay. I looked at the thing on the side. 32 calories. [laughter] One mango is close to 70 to 90 calories. I have to climb 60 flights of stairs to burn one mango. Next day mona my housekeeping sir I'm mangoes came from clients everyone has farms right they send it home every mangoes come mango mango no mangoes so that's the equation that you need to find out the the calorie deficit and the calorie expenditure any other questions

1:09:18 so first of all thanks to you and I'm appreciating what you're doing and I'm on the same page this one question you started off saying that water is really important and change the water. So I have a question regarding that it's too far. So uh water is very important. I agree with you but how do we change the water because that seems a little difficult. Some of us lives in housing complexes that have boring water coming. That's what of course we have our system. Secondly I know some people who see a lot of nutritionist and then they switch to bottled water packaged water maybe from some spring but isn't there a concern of the plastic seeping into the water when we only consuming packaged water? Good question. Um, so everyone heard his question. >> First things is if you have a society or your home or whatever, all of us get

1:10:04 water either from the the pipe supply from the from the city or bottle water. Okay. Um, I will try and find the entire research that we have done in our clinic. All the pipes that are lined in India, the 3M lining in it is not the grade that Singapore uses, which is non-carcinogenic. The company that manufactures the non-carcinogenic uh acetile nitrite something. There's a lining on the water pipe. So, they don't trust the the government and the policy makers say that there's nobody complaining about it. Why would we change it? So given the fact that we have plastic bottles and plastic inside the pipeline, we're 1.3 billion people who are doomed. Anyways, what I try to

1:10:51 do is I look at mineral water that's coming in from any spring or bottle source. I buy a bigger bubble top. I get that passed through into a a water filter which has light and sound. whatever music I want playing through it. Gold and silver ions. Same thing in your house. Would take it from your ARO, go through the filtration, remove the TDS. You might want to put a electrolyte replenisher, which is a filter that they do give you, then pass it through this light sound. Then when I take it out, I pass it through a final device called JA, which basically uh changes the hydrogen oxygen bonding and makes water more structured. So in my house, I have Hegi bottle mineral water coming from the Himalayas. It's a it's a bubble top

1:11:38 goes to the mica uh specialized water filter and then comes out through ja. This is my idea of doing it on how I have given recommendations for athletes to win Olympic medals. At the end of the day, how do you test u the inbody 580 machine has a intracellular and extracellular water canal. What inbody do you have? Do you have the 580? You don't have the 580. So if you can find a find a 580 that will measure ICW which is intracellular water inside your cell and ECW extracellular and there is a ratio gradient when you start drinking the correct water you see that change so that's where we reduce inflammation the other test you need to do is you can look at heavy metal testing in your

1:12:24 blood test if it's high do a chilation therapy to remove that out with regards to microplastic currently nobody in India does microplastic testing in urine or blood as yet. I'm waiting for it to
