00 The great ones of history often live lives of intensity. Intensity of feeling, of thought, of action, passion or pain and often all at once. And it is this war inside of them that leads to self-actualization or it leads to selfdestruction. And this is what we are talking about today, my friends. It is the alchemy of the great man. You see the don inside of all of you. the passions you feel, they they will either elevate you or destroy you. And honestly, most men of potential are consumed by it before they learn this alchemy. So, let's talk about exactly what I mean here. I drew us a map. This map is the polarities of
46 greatness or the polarities of self-actualization. Yes, I'm going to use some conceited language in this video, but I'm going to keep it as down to earth as possible because this is something I deeply feel in my life. Right here is the don and over here is the soul. The don, you're going to understand both of these terms fully by the end of this video. I'm going to break it all down for you, but essentially the don is your will to power. It's your will to greatness. It's your will to excellence. It's your ambition. And you need to want things. The more you want something, the more tension, conflict, and intensity you're going to live with. And this is actually what's going to demand growth. This creates really type A people in general, the Don, the will. And then on the other
33 side of the spectrum, we have the soul, right? And my soul, it just wants to fish by a stream. It wants a family. It wants friends it loves. It wants to play. It wants to celebrate life. And this is a very true feeling. And the soul, it possesses a deep spiritual power. Okay? The don possesses the will to power. The soul possesses surrender. And both of these are absolute spiritual forces that change your life. And today we are talking about the path of surrender in the pursuit of dayon maxing. You see, surrender is the breakthrough point of true selfreization as someone like Buddha and Christ taught. And you can only act but you can
18 only get there after the pinnacle of desire and the pinnacle of don maxing. So let me explain here. Let's start with the don. Let's start with ambition. So as I discussed the don is desire. And honestly desire is the first principle of transformation. The guy who wants it more usually wins. And right here we have this funny little meme of this guy on the far left side of the spectrum saying, "I want stuff." And then we have, you know, perhaps a more developed man saying, "Desire is the root of all of all suffering." The Buddhist philosophy. And then on the far end of the spectrum, we have the guy
04 saying desire is the root cause of all greatness. And I think both of these are true. Desire creates suffering and suffering creates greatness. And welcome to the great paradox of life. What do you think inspired Michelangelo to paint the Systeine Chapel? Other than a burning freaking desire and devotion to a craft bigger than himself and the desire to be famous. It's the same thing with Bruce Lee. What motivated him to train and become such an excellent martial artist and a Hollywood star other than the will to be great? Right? The will to actualize his full potential. It's the same thing with Alexander the Great, Francis Bacon, you know, George Washington, like any real hero you look at, what do they got? They got Don inside of them. And
52 so desire, this is kind of the Nietian philosophy, right? Nze said, keep holy your highest hope. All that is good, it proceeds from strength. It it proceeds from the will to power. And this is actually where all art, greatness, cultural growth, it comes from. It comes from pressure and heat. It comes from the Don. But also the Don, it's catabolic. Okay? Meaning it wants to consume you. This is the the dangerous part of the Don, my friends. As NZ said, great men are overflowings. They are explosions. They spend themselves. They do not preserve themselves. Nietze was the philosopher of the Don. When he says that great men
38 overflow, they spend themselves. It's that feeling inside of you that doesn't care about self-destruction, that doesn't care about right or wrong. It just wants to overflow and express its full potential into life. That is the Don. And the Don creates great artists. We have JK Rowling here in a very interesting funny post. She's responding to one of these health health And I say that I actually like the the people who are really into health. But this guy is saying that caffeine hinders the brain's recovery following sleep deprivation by suppressing cerebral gray matter response. And JK Rowling is like, "My entire creative process revolves around little sleep and coffee, as does most great geniuses and artists of our day." You see, they're up at 4:00 a.m.
24 drinking monsters and Red Bulls or coffee and just pouring their heart onto the page. The don great art, genius, it is often catabolic. It is using your body, your mind, your your spirit, your energy to produce something, to overflow with something. And this is actually a good thing if you can bring it into a beautiful harmony with your soul. You see, the don is so freaking dangerous and leads to self-destruction because it creates egotism. It creates addiction. It creates grandiosity. If we look at this map over here, here's the shadow side of the Don, right? Burnout, egotism, Lucifer, addiction, grandiosity. You know who fell into the shadow of the Don
10 really hard? Kanye West, right? Kanye West in his early career, he he went around to record companies saying, "I'm going to be the next big thing. I'm going to be the best. I was born to do this." He had a tremendous Don inside of him, right? And he became the best, right? And then he went insane. And this is what we see across history, my friends, is men of great Don and women of Great Don, they literally blow their brains out. They go insane. Alexander the Great drank himself to death. Alan Watts, the great spiritual teacher of the 1900s, he also drank himself to death. Hemingway, he blew his brains out. Kurt Cobain blew his brains out. Right? We see this, you know, even someone like Bruce Lee died young. I I don't know if it's because of his Don,
56 but there's a reason there is a 27 club, my friends. People with great passion inside of them. These passions, they lead to great conflicts. They re lead to great tensions. They lead to great addictions and self-destructive behaviors. And they get to this point where they're like, "Fuck it. I'm going to let my Don overflow and explode through me." And they lose themselves. Right? And this is the danger of Don maxing. It's one of the most dangerous paths on earth. But some of you won't be able to avoid it because you are born for more. And if you are born for more, you need this video more than anything. Even though I am going to use some freaking conceited language in this, my friends, this is going to speak to the to the right people. You see, surrender is the breakthrough point of all true self-realization and all true self-actualization, but can only come
44 after you build up enough energy and enough sense of self and self-worth and confidence where you can surrender into greatness. That's what I want to talk about. So, my journey with the Don, my friends, real quick here before we talk about surrender is it ruled my life from 14 to 25. I was young. When I was young, I had burning blood. I wanted I wanted to be excellent, you know, and this led me to becoming validictorian of my high school class, going to an Ivy League school. It led me to throwing all the parties and doing all the sports and trying all the it tried everything. But it also led to such tremendous addictions, heartbreaks, failures, disillusionment, like just rock bottoms
30 for so many years. And I've made videos talking about this. And it left me weary, right? And the healing that was de like healing demanded something of me. It demanded that I learn what sobriety is. Healing demanded that I learn what my heart is and how to love people and how to actually lead and how to become, you know, more towards that father archetype than the hero archetype, right? And healing demanded steadiness, surrender, a new way forward. And the great work that I've uncovered at this point in my journey is is the same idea that Nietz discovered at the end of his life. Nze said, "The truly great man possesses the soul of Christ and the will of Caesar." How can you combine the
18 soul of Christ with the will of Caesar? And for me, that looks like surrendering with Christ and rising with Caesar. It is a union of the hero and the priest. If we go back to this map up here, the full actualization of the Don and the will into the earthly plane, it creates power. It creates the hero, right? It creates the king. But if you can combine the hero with the priest, meaning you surrender into into heaven, you give it up to God, this is how you can come into your true self and your true self-actualization. So surrender, I want to talk about surrendering with Christ and surrender as a way of life. And this may come across as woo to many
03 of my viewers, but however you relate to this idea, you need to relate to this idea because this is a deep spiritual truth. So I was sitting on a beach there in sit to Mexico for the last month and I was watching the most beautiful sunset of my entire life when I noticed myself subtly seeking. I was searching for more. I was searching for more peace, a better high, a better mind. I was just searching. I'm a seeker at heart, right? And then I asked myself, what are you searching for, dude? Like what are you constantly searching for? You're sitting on here at a beach with incelito with amazing brothers. Like your life is made, you know? I'm I'm literally so successful at this point in my life. I'm so happy. You what am I
50 searching for? And I often wrestle with feelings of dissatisfaction. And I re like life, you know, I've achieved many things that I've always wanted to achieve. I've done all the drugs until they've stopped working or almost killed me. I've loved and lost and I've spent an unforgivable amount of time chasing women. I've tried most of the spiritual practices on earth. I've played the games. I've traveled. I've built some success and like and yet life seems to have lost its thrills. There's like a deep dissatisfaction in my heart, my friends. And this is the first law of Buddhism, the first noble truth of Buddhism. And that is life is dissatisfaction. And Buddha was a freaking prince. You know Buddha went around he tried the spiritual practices he tried the life of grandeur you know
38 like read the book Sedartha by Herman Hessa and and and he came to this point where it's like I'm never going to be satisfied through the world and this is what I deeply feel is the world's never going to satisfy me even if you know I build the glorious brotherhood and the towns that I want that I'm here to build and I have all the success speaking to the people online and you know get everything I've ever wanted life's still going to be dissatisfa dissatisfying at the end. And this is actually a good thing. Okay, this is a good thing my friends is when you come to the point of dissatisfaction, it demands deep spiritual transformation inside of you. And this is what Buddha taught, right? So I asked myself, what the hell am I searching for? I thought into the silence. And my first intuition was very
23 clear. I'm searching for God. I'm searching for innocence. I'm searching for youthfulness again. to feel the magic and freedom in the world. My mind and body feel so jaded from years of pain, of chronic illnesses, of insomnia, of addictions, of heartbreaks. My god, my friends, it was the ringer. And like it it stole my my innocence, you know? And I'm like searching for it again. Like, where is that the magic in the world? And I felt pretty good with that answer. I'm like, okay, I'm going to bring more youthfulness into my life. But then a second voice arose in the stillness and and it said, 'What do I seek? I seek greatness. I seek glory. I seek self-actualization. I seek the pinnacle. You know, I want to explode
11 with everything that I could be. And that second voice was very noble. It was very true. It was the voice of my Don. And the Don and my soul inside of me are both valid. They are both real parts of the human experience. But that Don was so freaking weary. He was so tired. And deeper inside, right, I knew that I lost the first treasure of my soul chasing the second treasure of the Don. And this is what happens to most of you. You see, contrary to new age teachers, I think that one without the other is hollow. That the Don without the soul is hollow. That if you have peace without purpose, it's nothing. And if you have purpose without peace, it's also nothing. Right? Both are twin treasures
57 of the spirit. Having the soul, having the feeling of rebirth and enlightenment and youthfulness, combined with great will and desire and heroism. You see, we all lose the first, the treasure of innocence. Few reach the second, the treasure of greatness. And only the greats attain both. That's what this video is about. You see, how do you attain both a rebirth into youthfulness and also a relaxed self-actualization of the pinnacle? That's what manhood is. When you're young, you're full of fire. Your your blood burns hot and you want to be a hero. And eventually that hero must become a king. And the only way to become a king for a hero, right, is through surrender. Once your ego and
43 your life and your don has burned so hot and then you let it all go and you surrender into the path of your heart that you have found through the chaos of trial and error. So let me break that down even deeper. Like I said, I've striven for so long to be more, to do more, to overcome myself, to master my addictions, but I failed over and over and over. I'm freaking tired of it, you know? And I see now that the only way to truly master my own heart and mind is abandoning desire and gratification completely. A lot of the nichza don maxing greatness maxing people out there, they're going to be like abandoning desire that's like that's like neutering yourself. Why would you do such a thing? You know, and
29 a lot of the Buddhists are like duh, dude. That's what you've always needed to do. I want to tell you two stories. So, in the Nordic myth of Ragnarok, okay, I don't I'm not an expert on this, but Sig Freed slays a dragon. Sig Freed is the hero. This this embodiment of youthful excellence, slaying the dragon and getting the ring of power, the ring of power that went on to uh be part of the story of Lord of the Rings. So, Sigfrey gets this ring and this ring represents desire itself. It represents the power of the Don and he throws he destroys the ring and in destroying the ring it represents killing all desire itself and by doing so by destroying the ring the world falls apart in Ragnarok
16 the war of the heavens and the earth that marks the end of time so that the new world can be born. So Sigf freed gets the ring of desire. He actualizes the full Don and then he destroys the ring of power and it creates the end of the world so that a new world can be born. And this myth it is one about surrendering yourself. Killing desire for a time so that you can be reborn. You see I I deeply believe that our desire it starts from a very pure place. Our Don starts from a very pure place. The will to grow, the will to expand, the will to power. But the Don gets
02 wrapped up in all of these different temptations and all these different passions, whether it's towards sex or addictions or self-destruction or grandiosity or Lucifer, whatever it is, right? And at a certain point there, you need to let it all go, right? and see what what remains at the essence of who you are and live your life in a way where you are just reborn into your actually actualized self. And this means killing desire for a time. If you're ready to if you're at the point in your life where you're ready to be reborn into the man or woman you were meant to be, this is the path. You see, one point I want to make here is I'm committing to a radical period of sobriety. I'm pretty deep into this practice right now and it's been hard. Radical sobriety to me
49 means no scrolling, no vapes, no tobacco, no drugs, right? No addictions. Like a very simple life. And I've tried this guys. I've been trying to actualize this for years. For years. But I've always failed. And that's because a I have pretty bad impulse control when it comes to certain things. And it's also I've also failed because it's not so much about commitment. You see, commitment comes from the damont. It comes from the yang energy of desire. It comes from the willpower. But when my willpower gets weak and I'm tired and you know temptations abound around me, um you know, I fail. The actual way to surrender, the actual way of of uh sobriety and you know
39 becoming what you were meant to be is surrendering like Christ. This is how Christ overcame the world. And this is called victory through surrender. So let me tell you a quick story of Christ and Buddha that I'm going to use in many videos. But Buddha was so dissatisfied with the world and tried so many things and was so let down by it that he's like, "I'm going to overcome the world. He wanted it really bad." And what did he do? He went and sit beneath the bow tree for 49 days and nights and he surrendered. He surrendered so deeply and so completely to the superior self that he overcame the world. Same thing with Christ out there in the desert. this image of Christ fasting for 40 days and 40 nights and overcoming all the
24 temptations of the underworld coming overcoming all the temptations of the devil. How did he do this? He he did this through great desire and devotion to God and then great surrender to God. And whatever spiritual path you are on, I think it's so important that we find a spiritual path because the spiritual principle of just giving it up of giving the dame on up of giving the passion up to God and surrendering is so important and I really don't think you can do this by yourself. So the image the most powerful image to me in my life right now is the image of Christ giving himself up on the cross surrendering with the crown of thorns. A lot of people think of this image as very morbid, right, of all this suffering. But to me, it is the is the pinnacle uh
12 expression of the soul overcoming matter of Christ. His body's you know, tortured basically. And he's like and and he's and he's surrendering to God. He's overcoming the world through the complete surrender of his worldly temptations, passions, feelings, and senses towards something higher, to a higher spiritual principle. And so, however you relate to that myth, you may not relate to it the same way I do, but it moves my freaking heart. And this this idea of surrender, it's really the name of the game. So, when impulses at a certain point in your journey, my friends, you're going to you're going to start to really become self-aware of your impulses, of your eagerness, of your your searching for more or wanting
59 stimulation. And I would suggest that the way to overcome those those impulses and those vices and those temptations in your life, whether it's to melancholy or sex or lust or whatever, is to notice when it arises. Well, the first thing is you got to want to be everything you could be. You need the day again to want to, you know what, I want to overcome the world. I want to become what I could be. You need that desire. And then you just need to notice impulses and surrender beneath them. I call this conquering with Christ, right? I know I'm far out there, my friends. Like, people are going to be like, "What the what is this guy on right now?" But I just think of it as conquering with Christ. I feel impulses so strongly. I feel passion so strongly. Not a day goes
45 by that I'm not overwhelmed by tears in my eyes or temptation or like just like this like longing and this like deep soulful experience in life. Like I feel passion so deeply and I feel impulses and temptations so freaking deeply. The thing that I'm working on is surrendering beneath them. And this is what has taken me 27 years to learn and apply in my life. And the thing that's actually working for me and coming into real harmonious flourishing. My life is awesome right now. I'm traveling the world with guys from the men's academy, my online men's community. You know, the YouTube channel is growing great. I work with such amazing people one-on-one and I have great friends and women and like love surrounding me and I just see my I feel myself stepping fully into my
31 purpose and I'm at this point where I just need to surrender all distractions, surrender all temptations to become what I am meant to be. And that's what I want to share with you is a simple routine and a full surrender protocol in this video. So, real quick before we get there, if you do want to join me in this protocol and you want to join me in this path of actualizing your full potential, there's a link below to talk to me about it one- on-one. I run a I run the Men's Academy online. It's an amazing online community where we have the best conversations of your life. We apply things together and we're also creating meetup opportunities ongoing into the future. So, there's a link below. come come chat with me if this video is uh speaking to your heart. So, we are
17 starting this challenge on July 7th. But essentially, what we all need to do is reparent ourselves, my friends. Because as we grow up, if you grow up with a lot of passions, those passions and conflicts and tensions inside of you, they're going to create a character that has a lot of coping mechanisms, that avoids a lot of and has patterns that don't necessarily serve you. So my question to you is how can you look into your future right the next year of your life and be like that's that's everything I could be that's the health the relationships the purpose you know that I want in my life and how could you condense your goal your vision into a very simple routine right and this is the thing is like when we have a routine this is what I need
03 right now in my life is like when you have a routine you can surrender everything you can just you can surrender into it better. You can surrender into your structure. So for me, it's wake up and I do two hours of deep work right away in the morning. Um, and I do writing like this so I can make these videos, speak to my guys out there in the world, and build the brotherhood that I want to see. So wake up, two hours of deep work, and then gym and study. Um, you're going to have to adapt this based off if you work a normal job. If you work a normal job, obviously you need to prioritize that. But I would still make it a priority to do the one thing like take your goal, condense it into a single action. What's the most important action? And do that every single morning. And then gym and study. And then what I want to say here to you
50 guys is leisure maxing. I'm not going to go through this full protocol because it's kind of excessive for a lot of people out there, but leisure maxing. I'm going to make a follow-up video to this, but leisure maxing. I think a lot of people who are driven by deep passions and they want to be great and they want to do excellent things and they're building businesses and whatnot, you're don maxing all the time. But in order to actually live with great inspiration and great drive, what we actually need to prioritize is the aristocratic principle of leisure. Meaning that you like to read, you like to have great walks and conversations with the friends, right? And the thing is is we don't know how to do leisure anymore, my friends. And that's because we're constantly stimulated by our phones, by vapes, by video games, by uh like shitty company, and by drugs, and
37 all of these like diverse passions that aren't actually in alignment with our soul. So, what I'm saying here is to eliminate excessive worries and activities. Like, look at your life and ask yourself, what what's 10 things I can just say no to right now? practice 1,00% sobriety for just 3 weeks. 1,00% sobriety, like no stimulation, you know, no drugs, no scrolling. Like, really try it out. A dopamine detox. And in your dopamine detox, leisure maxing. I just think of this as conquering with Christ. It's like when I used to would have gotten high at night or smoked tobacco or something. Can I just take a walk? You know, and it's amazing, my friends, when you're actually leisure maxing, you get insights from your soul, from your
22 heart, and from the world that inspire great energy, great activity. And then also, if you're practicing fiery and great conversations with good friends at night, your your day's going to be lit on fire in the best way possible. And guess what? Now you're at the point of maturity in your life where you don't have all the mechanisms that the Don could go down and destroy yourself through. you actually have the maturity to express the don in a really healthy way. So I could go deeper into this protocol, but essentially you can look at your screen here and adapt it to your life. What is the simplest routine that you could fully surrender into? Real quick here, I encourage everyone here to find a practice of surrender that they can do on a daily basis.
08 People call this meditation or prayer, but it's essentially holding yourself in structure, connecting with something greater than yourself and noticing and allowing yourself to feel, allowing yourself to release, noticing impulses and surrendering beneath them. This is the practice of vaposa that I really enjoy from Buddhism, Chiang, uh, meditation. My friends, allowance, allowance is what brings you into a much deeper maturity. and alignment with your innermost self. Now, just to finalize this video for everyone here, I want to get into the esoteric union of opposites, go a little bit deeper into the spirituality behind this idea. But essentially from from everything I've
54 experienced and you know, understand the Don the will, it's what concentrates power. It builds form. It's electric. It's that will to actualize things into the world. Hence, it's masculine. Right? The surrender, the path of surrender is feminine. It's magnetic. It's manifesting. Right? And a lot of, you know, men watch my channel and a lot of men think the feminine is weaker than the masculine. But in fact, the feminine is stronger and it comes first in a sense because it is about stillness. The feminine in the daqing, right? It's about meditating and allowing the waters to settle. Coming into a very relaxed disposition, coming into leisure, coming
40 into your heart. That's the feminine. And I'm not saying the feminine is actually stronger. What I'm saying is the feminine comes first because when you're in leisure, you're in your heart. You're in your relaxed center. When you move from there, you're no longer standing on your tiptoes. You're not burning out. You're not drawing energy that is not yours, right? You're coming from your center. So the goal of life, my friends, in my eyes, is the perfect combination of the yin and the yang, the masculine and the feminine. This is the polarity of greatness or the alchemy of greatness. Meaning, how can you live with tremendous Don with a will to power that matches that of Caesar wanting to build the Roman Empire, right? How can
29 you live wanting to build the Roman Empire and also not give a single about it? How can you live with great surrender as well? As if you're just meditating on your heart. You're relaxing into stillness, into play, into humor, into the way of the sage. So, this is the goal of life. And this is what I would call the esoteric union of opposites. I don't want to get too esoteric on all y'all, but essentially this is the great work of alchemy. So as I said the daq ching the the teachings of the east they say to draw the yang energy draw the burning desire from a deep yin and this is also something nichza taught in a sense of like his best ideas and his greatest inspiration they came from hiking in the
15 Alps. They came from being in nature spending time with his own thoughts being still right being yin. This is leisure maxing my friends. And also this is about having great conversations with friends and like you know living life from your soul and then from your soul drawing the don through it. Drawing the deep yang through it. And this is the holy grail of mysticism. This is the marriage of opposites. The marriage of the of the of the man and woman, the feminine and masculine inside of you. And the true will, this is actually how you access the true will. This might go too deep off the deep end for many of you, but the true will is when you surrender into your authentic essence, into what you know, some teachers would say your
01 superior self. And then you will from there. And this is when you get still enough and you get quiet enough in your own ego and mind, you tap into something deeper. This like animating spirit deep inside of you. And when you find the will from there, some some teachers call this the Christic willpower. It's where desire and surrender become fused like you're surrendering to God and you're letting god's will be done and this creates an avatar of transcendence and this is the whole goal of the bhavad gita hinduism and most religions across the world this is the perennial philosophy how can you become an avatar of your superior yourself or an avatar of transcendence essentially you are completely surrendered to the world you are completely surrendered to outcomes you have let everything go and you're
48 living convicted by your higher self and your higher will. That is the goal and the alchemy of greatness that I want to share here with you, my friends, is it's time to surrender all the that doesn't matter. It's time to surrender the world. It's time to surrender into simple routines and it's a time to connect deeply to your heart and deeply to the superior self and will with your whole will from there. That is the ideal that I want to communicate to all of you. And yes, you know, it might sound grandiose. Uh it might sound far out there, but you know, this is what has been revealed to me and what I want to share with you guys. This is Wisdom Warriors. If you really enjoy this content, please let me know in the comments down below. Um I like teaching in this fashion. And also
34 again, if you want to join me, talk to me one-on-one, build a relationship with me and other like-minded brothers. Come apply for the men's academy. We're doing amazing stuff in there. on planning our first meetups and retreats. Um, and yeah, would love to see you at the next video where we will be talking about uh the invisible staircase method to purpose and Don maxing. You can click here for my last video about Don maxing. Again, thanks for being here, my friends. Peace.
