After failing to reach the other DigiDestined, Agumon and Tentomon engage Keramon, who digivolves into Infermon. Infermon defeats them, and the battle becomes a global spectacle, witnessed by the DigiDestined and a kid named Willis. Tai and Izzy manage to contact Matt and TK, and their Digimon, Gabumon and Patamon, join the fight against Infermon, who is now in America.
Gabumon and Patamon warp digivolve into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, respectively, and battle Infermon, who digivolves into Diaboromon. Diaboromon overwhelms them and begins cloning himself, launching two nuclear missiles aimed at Willis and Tai and Izzy. Despite global efforts to intercept the missiles, Diaboromon reroutes them to fall harmlessly in the ocean near Hawaii.
Izzy theorizes that destroying the original Diaboromon will stop the missiles, but there are over 75,000 clones. WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon are quickly defeated by the clones. Tai's bond with WarGreymon is so strong that Tai himself becomes digital, leading to WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon fusing together to become Omnimon.
Omnimon destroys all the clones, revealing the real Diaboromon. Izzy sends all the emails he received to Diaboromon, slowing him down and allowing Omnimon to destroy him. The missiles are disabled, and Sora receives Tai's apology email. However, the video ends with a hint that Willis is about to face a new Digi-battle alone, suggesting a continuation of the story.
