Brief Summary

This video provides a detailed plan to improve problem-solving skills in Physics, addressing common issues such as understanding concepts but failing to apply them, memorizing formulas without comprehension, and struggling with complex questions. It emphasizes clearing basics, consistent practice, and effective learning techniques.

  • Clear Physics basics and NCERT
  • Solve 10 questions daily
  • Practice and understand derivations

Introduction

Many students face challenges in Physics, such as being unable to solve problems despite understanding the concepts, or freezing during exams even after memorizing formulas. Simple questions are manageable, but any slight variation causes difficulty. The video aims to provide solutions to these problems, demonstrating how to approach and solve Physics questions effectively.

Addressing Common Excuses

Students often blame the difficulty of the CBSE paper or attribute success to innate brilliance. However, toppers achieve high scores by following a strategic plan, not just because they are naturally gifted. The video aims to provide a similar plan for average students to excel in Physics.

The Importance of Consistent Practice

While many videos advise solving numerous questions, this video suggests a manageable goal of solving 10 questions per day. This consistent practice results in approximately 300 questions per month, which is ideal for covering three chapters thoroughly. Solving 100 questions of varying types per chapter is essential for adequate preparation.

Clearing Your Basics

The first step to improving in Physics is to clear your fundamental concepts. If you have backlogs from 11th grade or have missed important classes, it is crucial to address these gaps. Many questions in 12th-grade Physics require the application of 11th-grade concepts. For example, understanding dot products and vector operations is essential for solving certain problems.

The Role of NCERT

Reading the NCERT textbook is crucial for Physics, as CBSE sets papers with conceptual questions and theory directly from NCERT. Even numerical problems often incorporate 11th-grade basics before applying 12th-grade formulas. Relying solely on advanced books like HC Verma or DC Pandey is unnecessary; focus on mastering NCERT and solving a variety of questions.

Effective Class Participation

Actively participate in class by asking questions. Don't worry about being laughed at for asking simple questions. Instead, focus on understanding the material. Observe how your teacher approaches and solves numerical problems, noting their initial steps, reasoning, and application of concepts and formulas.

Active Revision Techniques

When revising, actively recall concepts instead of passively reading like a newspaper. Use class time as active self-study by engaging with the material. Hide the solutions to questions solved in class and try to solve them independently, then compare your method with your teacher's to identify mistakes.

Practice with the Right Resources

Use a good question bank like Oswal Book Question Bank, which includes various types of questions that CBSE is currently asking, including competency-based and conceptual questions. The question bank is organized topic-wise, allowing you to solve related questions immediately after learning a topic. It also includes previous years' questions, providing insight into CBSE's question patterns.

Additional Tips for Success

Solve 10 questions daily, including easy, medium, and hard problems, starting with easier ones to build confidence. Understand derivations to know the origin of formulas and develop a deeper understanding of the concepts. CBSE sometimes frames questions based on derivations. The channel will provide weekly targets to maintain consistency, and you can join the Telegram channel for additional study materials and notifications.

Step-by-Step Numerical Solving Process

To solve numerical problems effectively, break down the question into smaller parts, create a mental frame, and highlight important keywords. If necessary, draw a diagram. Identify what is given and what is asked. For example, in a question from the 2025 CBSE paper, the problem involves two point charges and an external electric field.

Applying the Concepts: A Detailed Example

The example question involves calculating the change in electrostatic energy when an external electric field is applied. First, identify the given values and conditions (switch off and switch on). Use the formula for energy in the switch-off condition (K Q1 Q2 / R). Then, consider the switch-on condition, where additional energy due to potential is generated (q1v + q2v). The change in electrostatic energy is the final energy minus the initial energy.

Deriving Potential from Electric Field

To find the potential (v), use the given electric field (e) vector. The relationship is given by E vector dot dr vector. Apply basic vector concepts from 11th grade, such as the definition of the unit vector r cap (r vector / modulus of r vector). Use the dot product formula (ab cos theta) and the fact that cos 0 = 1 when the vectors are the same. Simplify the expression to find the potential and then calculate the change in electrostatic energy.

Final Thoughts and Encouragement

Solving questions requires sitting down and following the steps outlined in the video. Don't be afraid of Physics; treat it like any other subject. Clear your basics, solve at least 100 questions per chapter, and solve 10 questions daily. Believe in yourself and commit to completing what you start. Commenting "I promise to solve 10 questions every single day" will set up accountability.

0:00 You understand everything in this subject but are unable to solve the questions or you memorize all the formulas but feel completely blank in the exam hall. Simple questions get solved but as soon as a slight twist is made to the question, your lights go off. If you face all these problems with Physics then by the end of this video you will get the proper solution as to how you should solve the question. Yes, I will not just tell you but will also show you how to solve the question. To tell you exactly what this subject is not for you and forget about crossing 90. Even if you get 80-70, it will be a big thing. And the craziest part is if I ask you why you can't get 95% in Physics then you will start giving me some excuses. CBSE makes the paper tough. These questions come like this, they are of JE level. What should we read and how should we read it? I ca n't do it. But what if I ask you the second question? If the paper is not becoming so tough then how are these toppers getting 98-98. But I know you have the answer for this also. They are toppers. They are

0:46 brilliant, they can do anything. We are average students, brother, we can't do it. Let me break your myth. Topper don't get 98 because they are brilliant. They get 98 because they follow the right plan and strategy. Let's do the same for you. Now before starting the plan. I know you must have seen many videos before this video on how to score good marks in Physics. Everyone must have told you 100% that you have to solve a lot of questions. And obviously you have to solve the question because physics is all about practice my friend. In this video I am also going to tell you that you have to solve a lot of questions. I am not telling you to solve 100 questions in a day. I am just telling you to solve 10 questions a day. If you apply simple maths and solve 10 questions per day, then obviously you will have around 300 questions in the whole month. Which is an absolute ideal number if you are doing three chapters a month. Because if you have not solved 100 questions per chapter and that too of different types, then my friend where is your

1:32 preparation for Physics? Your 98 cannot come. I want you to write down in the comments section before starting the video. Right now I promise to solve 10 questions every single day. Just write it down. I read all of your comments. Now let's get back to the plan. The very first step is to clear your basics. If you have not cleared your basics then forget that you will be able to solve any question. If your class is in 11th week or you have missed it. You have backlogs lying around. You had a lot of fun friend, so just clear it right now. If your basics are not clear, then if you get any type of question in any particular chapter of 12th, you will definitely face problem. I analysed last year's paper and there were some questions in which 11th class concepts were being applied before 12th class concepts were applied. Now in a short while I will solve a question for you in which whether you know how to do dot product

2:17 or not, it depends on that whether you will be able to solve that question or not, and guess what, this dot product, cross product, vectors, basic kinematics, basic mathematics, basic logic, value of sine cos, value of log, all these things are taught to us in class 11th, which obviously we have messed up, but don't worry, you still have time to clear all the basics because I have seen this much in my teaching career that a child whose basics are strong, his Physics is definitely strong, number two NCERT, please start reading this if you feel that you should read NCERT of Biology, you should read that of Chemistry. No brother, you should study Physics also. Because CBSE is setting the paper like this. Why don't you understand? You must have seen last year's paper. You might have seen the previous year's paper and even if you haven't seen it, you might have heard from people and seniors about how tough the paper is coming. Conceptual questions are coming. And I tell you with confidence that your senior could not solve that paper because he did not know the

3:03 basics of class 11th and he had not read NCERT because the theory and conceptual questions come directly from NCERT. And in those numericals, the basics of Class 11th are covered before the Class 12th formulas are applied. So how will the questions be solved? After the trend of CBSE of last two years, all the children are thinking that we need to apply HC Verma. We have to appoint DC Pandey. We have to solve JEE Mains questions. NEET questions have to be solved. No brother, you don't have to do anything like this. You have to stick to simple basics, NCERT lots of questions and different types of questions. I hope you got it. Number three, please take classes efficiently. I am tired of saying that please there is no need to listen to the teacher like this in class. He is not preaching to you. You have the right to ask questions. Please do ask questions. Just because you think that I will raise my hand , if I ask then people around will start laughing at you, friend you

3:49 don't know such a simple thing. Hey, screw those people. They will be looked into. When the results come, everyone will be slapped in the face. Please try to focus on yourself. When you are recognizing your mistakes that yes friend, I do not know such a basic thing. I don't know how to start a question. What are those keywords by looking at which I will come to know that yes, this formula or this concept can be applied here. If you don't know this then how can you just expect 98 marks in Physics? Obviously no right? So please I am requesting you ask as many questions as you can from your teacher. Please look at them, if they are solving numericals then how are they doing it? What is his first move ? How did it come to his mind that this thing should be taken as constant? How did it come to his mind that dot product and cross product would be applied here. How did it come to his mind that this formula would apply ? How did he imagine and create that diagram

4:36 there? Start examining all these things at a micro level. After coming home, try to solve those questions using your mind without looking at them. Point number four, the major mistake you make. You come home from school or coaching. When you try to revise what you were taught today, you revise exactly like you are reading a newspaper. Whatever the concept is, try to recall it yourself. Because whatever we study in class, we also count it as study hours. That too can be an active hour of self-study. It depends only on you how efficiently you use it and whether you come to the classroom memorizing 50% of the material or not. In the end notes, hide the session of the questions solved by the teacher in the classroom and try to solve them yourself. Then please match your method of solving the question with your teacher's method so that you can get an idea where you are making mistakes. Number five is the most important point that everyone says, practice a lot of questions.

5:22 And trust me you don't need any very high-fi books. Just pick a simple question bank which is the best in the market and that is Aus Book Question Bank. I will give the link in the description box. In this question bank you will get all the types of questions which CBSE is currently asking. CBSE is currently focusing most on competency based questions and conceptual questions. So try to solve all those types of questions which you will get in this question bank. And the beautiful part of this question bank is that it has topic wise questions. The most important thing is that as soon as you read a particular topic, come and solve all the questions related to that topic immediately. Which is given in this question bank. Previous year questions are also included in it. That means you will get an on-spot idea about what type of questions CBSE has asked from this particular topic in the previous year. Question bank for all subjects is available from Oswal Books. If you haven't taken it then I link it below. Please go and bye. The sooner you

6:07 start your question practice the sooner you will finish the syllabus with all the perfection. And also you have to solve 10 questions every day and that too of different types. In which there will obviously be a mixture of easy, medium and hard questions. And start with the one that is right to build your confidence and momentum. And what you are asking about the derivation is whether it is important or not. Yes brother, it is important because when you do the derivation then you will know exactly where the formula you are reading has been derived from. So the basics are developed from there also. So please do n't try to memorize the derivation. Try to understand where he is starting from. And by the way if you do what you do you know let me tell you that CBSE makes the questions tough and sometimes gives concepts by taking them from derivation also. Therefore please practice after understanding the derivation. Physics is not a subject that needs rote learning. So you have to solve 10 questions topic wise on daily basis. And I will help you in maintaining this consistency on

6:53 this channel. You get weekly targets on the community box of this channel. So whatever targets I give you in that particular week, you just have to follow them so that your consistency can be maintained and you can complete your syllabus before time. Subscribe to my channel to get notified about the targets and also join the Telegram channel, there too notifications keep coming for the targets and a lot of study material also keeps coming. Now comes the most important part, how to solve numericals which is your biggest problem. But don't worry I am going to tell you the step by step process of solving the question. The questions that I will take have been included by CBSE in the 2025 paper itself, which was considered the hardest paper till date. I will tell you how to find out the keywords before solving that question. How should you know by looking at that keyword which concept will be applied in it , which formula will be applied in it. How you have to solve that question by breaking it down into smaller parts

7:38 and how you have to imagine the entire situation. Also, how the basics that I discussed in this video are useful here. Now let me show you the step by step process of how to solve the question perfectly. So this question has been asked by CBSE in the 2025 paper. So first of all, whenever you read a question, you have to break it down. Inside the small parts, create a frame of it in the mind as to what this given is. If there is a need to make a diagram in it, then make it. Otherwise keep highlighting or underlining important keywords. So like two point charges we have given. So point charges important point will be here. Now we have 5 microcoulomb - 1 microcoulomb is a given value. So first of all we will make a column of given here, in the given we have q1 which is 5 microcoulomb and q2 which is the charge we have, we have -1 microcoulomb. They are placed at point -3 cm. 0 and 3 cm. 0

8:24 Respectfully. Now the charge of 5 microcoulomb is lying at -3. And the charge of -1 is lying on three. +3 p.a. Now we all know this much that friend, this thing is denoting X Y Z. So if you draw a normal simple line here, on this side of this mid point there is +X axis and on this side there is -X axis. So on the plus x axis we have 3 cm. There is a second charge on it. Number two charge. So we have late that 3 cm here. It comes. So here we have Q2. And where is Q1 lying? -3. Exactly the same distance on this side inside the negative side. Here we have -3 cm. is q2. Ok? so your sorry q1 ok? So I got the placement of both the charges. So this is the first thing a doctor has to do, that what does the person want to say with the question? So

9:10 I took this out from the first line. The second line says an external electric field e is equal to this where a is equal to this much and is switched on in the region. Now he is saying, brother now see what has happened? We have applied an external electric field here. After applying, we have turned on the switch here. Meaning, if we switch on the electric field later, then obviously some changes will occur in the energy, right? So what has happened now is that this question has been divided into two partitions. In the first partition there was no electric field meaning charge was on here. Meaning, that was a switch off condition. And the second condition is switch on condition. The value of energy in both conditions is different. So here this thing has been asked at third number. If we break this question down in number three then calculate the change in electrostatic energy. Whatever is asked,

9:57 underline it, brother. So we have part number one of the question, part number two of the question and this part number three. In this way we have broken down the question. And this is how we will calculate it. So we are asked about the change in electrostatic energy of the system due to the electric field. Next comes case number one, that is switch off condition. What is the formula of energy available to us when we are in off condition ? You simply know the formula of energy. K Q1 Q2 / R. Ok? Now this is the formula, there should be switch off condition and on condition. This formula will definitely be applied here. So here we know the value of K. Q1 Q2 I know. We also know R here. Now case number two, when you have a switch on condition, meaning the electric field has been applied, then what will happen to the energy? So the energy will obviously be different. Obviously, what was felt before will not go anywhere. It will definitely happen.

10:42 We already know this much basic. This will definitely happen. The additional thing that has been installed with it is because the switch has been turned on. As soon as additional energy is applied we will have more energy. That means potential will be generated. So I am. Do you know what the formula of the energy that will come because of that is ? q* by v where v is the potential and q is the charge. So due to q1 this energy will be consumed q1v and due to q2 it will be consumed q2v, right? So we will have two additional energies coming here separately. q1v + q2v In this way we will have energy in switch on condition. So this was the initial energy. This is the final energy. And what have you been asked? We have been asked about change in electrostatic energy. The change will be removed, final minus initial. So we had a framework of a question ready that this is how we have to get out of here. Meaning, this value has to be minus this value.

11:28 Now we will understand this value easily. We have to derive this value, that is, this q1, so let it be given. q2 is given but where to derive the potential from? This major question arises. For this we will go to this given item which is given to us. Now what else do we have in Given besides q1 q2? e vector is given to us which is in vector form. Meaning, the value of electric field is given to us in vector form, which we have to solve further. The value of a is given to us as 3 * 10 to the power of 5. Ok? Now what should I do? Potential has to be extracted from this. Now for potential, you must have noticed one thing whenever you read the chapter on potential. He has combined two chapters together here. Because of this the paper became a little more tough. How do you find the potential using our electric field ? E vector dotdr vector. It is being taken out in this manner. When you

12:15 read the second chapter on potential or you have already read it, then you will already know how I figured it out. Ok? PR so you know that we have to bring out r with respect to. So this will become the r vector for us. We have to put the value of e vector here. The value of the e vector is already given to us. What is? a / r² r You have to pick up the cap as it is and place it here. Isn't it? a / r² r cap. Now here comes the real game. Your basic odd of 11th is applied here. Because of this the paper becomes tougher. What will be the 11th basic requirement? When you are taught vectors, you know that the value of r cap, we are taught that look brother, it is a vector and the modulus of the vector is here. So you just need to replace the r cap with this thing right here. So what did you write? a / r² and r vector / is the modulus of the r vector right? And this r vector has come close to us. When

13:01 vectors are taught how to calculate a.b we are doing ab cos theta. Now because these are two different vectors. Then here we are using cos theta. Inside theta we are finding at what angle the two angle vectors are situated. Now because these two vectors are the same. Because of this the angle automatically becomes zero. So cos 0 will come to us. Now here comes directly another concept which is the value of sin cos. What you should know is that the value of cos 0 is one. So if I write r r, right? So I need to remove r. If we find R.r then we will write it as r cos 0. If the value of cos 0 becomes one then what will happen to r ? will become r². So what will happen to you automatically? r² So what did I do? This is what I did to calculate the modulus of a / r² r² / r. So what do we do to these two ? I cancel it. So the modulus of a / r

13:48 we can say is r here. Ok? So this will come to us. So what will the value of v come to me automatically ? a / r is a given. r is given. what is r? This is r distance brother, we have this much distance from here, this is given, this is three, here also there are three, so this distance you already know what is given. Now you simply have to put the value v here, here exactly what we have found, a / r a / r, you have to put this and just minus both of them. When you minus them, you know, this and these will become minus and what will remain is this and this, so you put its value here and mostly you should keep in mind the sign convention here at the end that you should not make plus into minus and minus into plus, this happens most of the times. Because of this many questions go wrong. So this is how you have to approach it. The question has to be broken down and understood as to what it is trying to ask and the basics have to be strengthened. I hope you have got an

14:34 idea how to solve the question perfectly. How to approach it perfectly. But let me tell you, you will not be able to solve these questions just by seeing all these things. You will have to sit with the questions after watching this video. And all these steps will have to be followed. Then you will be able to solve the questions. Just stop being scared of physics. Physics is like a normal subject. Treat him like one, friend. Just clear your basics at least solve 100 questions per chapter and 10 questions every single day. I can bet you. You will be on top of the game. And you will thank yourself later. Honestly, I don't want that even after watching this video, you watch all the other videos and sit considering yourself average and feel that physics is not for me and you are not able to solve the question again. As a coach I just want you to become the best player of your game and you can if you believe in yourself. If you are doing something then remember that either you have to complete it or you don't have to do it. All and none. The choice is yours. Initially you definitely face hurdles.

15:20 But later on you will thank yourself for not giving up. I hope you have commented by now. I promise to solve 10 questions every single day. If you haven't yet please do it right now as this will set up your own accountability. Just do it for one month and you will see the results. I believe in you and can't wait to see you on top. See you in the next one.
