Some of you all drove here to be here. I truly appreciate you. Thank you. Nehemiah, the first chapter, and we're going to be sharing from the topic of apostolic builders. How many builders do we have in the room? Let me put this disclaimer out there. No, I'm not saying for you to leave out of the service today, go home and tell your pastor, I'm

And so, what we're talking about is that same fire, that same Holy Ghost, that same power that functionized the early church in the book of Acts is the same power by which we are building that that heaven has already designed. So, we got a blueprint. Somebody say there's a blueprint. There's a blueprint. So, we're not talking about selfish agenda. We're not talking about selfish motivation. We're not talking about just building ourselves up, but we're talking about biblical blueprints. We're talking about architectural designs from heaven that are going to be manifested in the earth because there's a man, there's a woman that said yes to God. We're talking about, come on here, we're talking about co-laboring with God, laboring with God, building with God, a partnership. Somebody say partnership.

It's not just going to fall out the sky and just be built overnight without your participation. The Bible says in Nehemiah 1:4, "And it came to pass. when I heard these words that I sat down and wept and mourned certain days and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven and said, "I beseech thee, oh Lord, God of heaven, the great and terrible God that

Well, here this particular scripture, we're going to talk about building. You can't help but visit Nehemiah. Nehemiah, just to give you the backdrop, has received information, intelligence about his people, about God's people. While he is in the position of being a cup bearer, he is in close proximity with the king.

1:06:04 But yet, he is getting the intelligence and the information from his brother and some men that the people of God are in trouble. As a matter of fact, they're in distress. They're uncomfortable. They are in a place of h of trauma. The walls have been torn down. They're on fire. And as a matter of fact, just so you know, this thing has been in place for over a hundred years. And if you've ever experienced any trauma before, if you ever going through anything traumatic, I we not in heaven yet, right? So, we still have these earth suits. And if we can be honest up in here, there are some times where we still have some human moments even though we have the power of the Holy Ghost on the inside. I can remember just to give you some context. I remember many of you all have heard the story about how God miraculously

1:06:50 raised up my husband in record-breaking time after he had a humic stroke in 2011. God did that thing. He did. Uh but I noticed after that for a little while when we would be home if he made a a sudden noise or or a sound and it could just been a sound of him watching a game or something like that, but I didn't realize it was the game. something would happen on the inside of me. I would jump and I would jolt because of the experience of trauma of knowing all of that had taken place. So imagine the people of God are sitting here. I had to tell my husband, I said, "Listen, listen. Don't be yelling like that. Don't be acting like you need help. Don't be acting like things are not all right." You don't get to do that. Okay? Why? because it would trigger

1:07:37 a an a in a a response in me of panic of is everything okay? And so you could imagine these people with the walls down where the enemy has easy access. They're not comfortable when they sleep. They're not comfortable when they're living their daily lives because they realize at any moment they could be overtaken. But here it is a king. the king I is in his position and in his palace and Nehemiah strategically is positioned there. Could it be that your promotion or your proximity is not just about the natural position that you have? Could it be that the proximity is not just about the check that you're going to get, the bonus that you're going to make? Come on here. The favor that you will see, the dainties you will have, the celebrations you'll be able to participate in, the

Could it be that there's a great promotion and proximity that's going to be granted to you because you'll be the bridge of access for a people that does not have the connection. Uh, somebody say proximity. Well, Nehemiah is the cup bearer. And so, just to look at this just for a moment, the cup bearer. When you think about the cup bearer, you think about acquaintance. You think about the king being comfortable. You think about in order for Nehemiah to be in this position, he definitely had to pass some tests. In other words, when you think about how Daniel was positioned, where he was positioned, right? They had to be qualified. They had to be tested. They had to be proved. They had to be checked over. They they they they had to be looked at. They had to be looked into. In other words, you needed to be at a

1:09:08 certain place, a certain status, a certain diet, a a certain character, a certain quality in order to be in the king's place. Well, likewise here, if you going to be the cup bearer, the man that is supposed to make sure that the king, which back in that time, it was a normal thing for folks to poison people. Uhhuh. And and so so the cup bearer had to be the gobetween, listen, poison and the king to make sure that the king was safe, that whatever he was drinking, it was good. And so therefore, that meant that proximity meant that the king was very comfortable. Often times when the kings would drink, they wouldn't even look up at the cup bearer. they would just go ahead and not inspect it. They would just drink it. In other words, that meant that listen, it meant that Nehemiah had to be trustworthy. We've got to be careful with the proximity

1:09:54 that we have because some people have some cupbearers and some people that are very close in proximity and what they're passing you. Instead of blocking you from poison, they're handling you poison. You got to be very careful with proximity. Even Jesus had boundaries, baby. We got to put these boundaries back into place. We got to have some perimeters in place. We got to come on here. Have some order and some structure. Come on. For protection. Nehemiah hears about what's going on with the people. And he actually cares about what's happening. Even though he is not living with them. That's not where he wakes up. That's not where he sleeps. That's not where he eats. He's in the king's palace. God is raising up people that can be in the palace but still care about the people. God is raising up, come on here, a people that

1:10:40 can be in the most uh uh wonderful places around the world, uh but yet still have the heart for what God has the heart for. He hears about what's going on and he can't separate himself. That's how you know people that are close to God. They don't separate themselves from the body of Christ. They don't separate. They understand that God's people are sacred. They understand that God's people are special to him. They understand that we are the body of Christ. That we're better together. would jointly fit together. And so even though his proximity is in the palace, he can't get away from the fact that his people are hurting. Oh my god. Uh there's some people in the room right now, you can't get over the fact that there are some people hurting in your country, but yet you are here in America. You can't get over the fact that there's some people hurting in the

1:11:26 community that are disenfranchised, that are left behind, that are suffering, that are dealing with things that are just too much, that are over their head, and they need help, they need aid, they need assistance, and you just can't sit there. But when you get burdened, oh my God, it's important to know what to do with the burden. Anybody ever been burdened? I have a burden for young girls. I have a burden for children that don't get to be children and have to be adult and at five, six, seven years old because the parents are not in position to care for the kids. I have a burden. I look at my granddaughter and I see how blessed she is and how she's blessed to have a great mom and a dad and and while I'm celebrating for her, my heart breaks for the little girls that I know don't have that. I say every every little girl should have this. Every little boy should have this. There's a burden.

1:12:11 There's a burden. You can be blessed and burdened at the same time. Oh my God. And who am I talking to in here? God has been good to you. But yet you are carrying a burden for others that said I just can't sit here. And so here it is. He's now taking this burden to the Lord. Uh and what I love about him is that when Nehemiah goes uh before the Lord uh he begins to announce the character of God. He beginsh to cry out to God. Oh Lord, God of heaven. Uh see you can be burdened but don't start going to God talking about I'm going down. I'm going down. Uh you know he goes before the Lord acknowledging who God is. He that come up to God must first believe that he is and that he is a rewarder to them that diligently seek him. And so he approaches God with

1:12:59 reminding God of who he is. And not that God doesn't know but guess what? Uh he's making sure that he's got the right frequency, the right approach. Oh God of heaven, great and terrible God. Uh in other words, he's magnifying the Lord bigger than the problem. He's magnifying the Lord bigger than the opposition, the challenge that they are facing. No matter what you are dealing with, I want to encourage you to magnify the Lord. Uh I want to encourage you to remember his sovereignty, remember his character, remember his power. Uh remember how faithful our God is. H and so he inquires of the Lord. Uh, and fast forward as he's moving forward. Hallelujah. After he prayed, uh, see, it's important when you talk about apostolic builders, there's one word that goes along with it that stands out

1:13:46 and it's called scent. You know, there's a whole lot of folks that just went, they just went, they just decided, they just dressed themselves up. They just gave themselves a certificate. They just labeled themselves with a title and just started showing up doing things that they had not been sent to do. But when you're talking about apostolic builders, apostolic builders have been sent by God. Uh sent into a region, sent into a territory, sent to partner in building a particular work, sent hallelujah, for the advancement of the kingdom of God in the earth. Uh and so he goes before the Lord. Uh we like to talk about how he was able to build that wall in record-breaking time, 52 days. That's amazing, right? Uh but we want to say,

1:14:31 how did that happen? You're talking about a wall that was down for over 100 years. Uh but before he built anything, he built it in prayer first. He sought the Lord. I was so thankful last night when the man of God said, "We got to pray apostolic prayers." Uh we got to pray apostolic prayers. Uh we got to pray those prayers. Come on, think about it. Like Paul, may they be enlightened. May your identity be revealed. May you know the riches of his glory. May you know who you truly are. We need some apostolic prayers that will pray the blueprint of heaven. Stand on earth and pray the blueprint of heaven into the earth. Pray what shall be, what's getting ready to happen as it already is in heaven. He don't just jump out there. It's enough of just jumping out of

1:15:18 there. The devil is a whole liar. That's a lie to make you think you got to jump out there and you don't have time to pray. No, no, no, no, no. That is devastating. Before you do anything, clock in uh in prayer. Pursue God. Apprehend the heart of God. Because if God doesn't guarantee the win, it's going to be a loss. Uh but if you get a win from heaven, you got a secured win on earth. Uh oh. Somebody say, "Call on the name of the Lord and access heaven." And so before he goes and approaches the natural king, uh we got the tale of two kings here. We have the eternal king uh the king of kings at play who has given his endorsement, given his signature, given his yes, given his amen, given his

1:16:04 backing, given his support so that now when listen when Nehemiah shows up to the natural king that he works with, he already has a higher level approval. Can I tell you, you walking in the door with a higher level approval? You're talking about a greater approval that causes every lower level approval that has to take place to move in your favor. Well, he goes to serve. Uh, but here it is. All the years he'd been serving with the king. Uh, he looked regular. He was good. You know, don't nobody want a Debbie Downer in the atmosphere bringing a whole room down. And so, he had the character of always functioning correctly, always going in doing his job, never bringing his personal life into the space. But this time, the king

1:16:50 said, "Wait a minute. What's up with you? What's going on? What's happening with you, Nehemiah? Why are you down?" And it opens the door for Nehemiah to express, "My people are in trouble. My people are going through something. The walls are down. They need to be repaired." Oh my gosh. Well, I'm here to tell you uh not just overnight, but I want you to know we've got to stop discarding uh daily in andout consistency, showing up daily. Because can I tell you it was what Nehemiah did before then uh that looked like an ordinary day, being faithful, showing up, being on time, being consistent day in and day out. Uh being a faithful servant, doing his job. A job

1:17:36 is not a curse. The devil is a whole liar. I don't know where their spirit comes from where folks think they should get paid for doing nothing. Think they should be rewarded for just showing up. Do your job. It's a godly thing. Adam was put in the garden to tend that garden to name them animals. Do something. Produce something. Act like God. Laziness is not of God. Slowfulness is not of God. Haphazardness is not of God. The devil is a whole liar and the truth is not in him. To work is to have character. It speaks to who you are, who we are, to be faithful in another man's business.

1:18:24 Here it is. He gets there. He says something wrong. But Nehemiah says to him, he tells him, "What's going on? What's happening? The people in trouble." And then he puts it out there. See, it's not enough for you to just stand in proximity. Some of you so close, but you refuse to open your mouth. You have not because you ask not. This is the hour that you ask big. This is the hour that you put in your request. This is the hour that you put the proposal in. This is the hour. Come on here. Don't be sitting here on mute. Some of y'all mad at folks right now cuz they can't read your mind. You mad at them. You need to tell them you believe God has called you. Instead of you being mad, they ain't ask you to preach. You need to help tell somebody that you believe the call of God is on your life and you sitting here mad. Husband and

Well, since you asking, he said to them, he said, "Uh, send me. I'll go rebuild it. This is not the hour to be cowardous. This is not the hour to retreat. This is not the hour to back down. This is not the hour to be intimidated. You better know you're the man. You're the woman for the job because God is with you. And if God be for you, who can be against you? This is not the time for you to be standing right there. I don't know who going to go. No, you going to go. Who's going to go? I'm going to go. Who's going to go? I'm going to go. Who's going to go? I'm going to go. This is the hour that we need all hands on deck. Everybody come on here. Stop looking around at other

I don't know why y'all listen to the people that talk about giving cuz they don't give. The givers don't run their mouth. You know why? Cuz they so busy seeing fruit. They so busy seeing breakthroughs. They so busy seeing enlargement. They so busy seeing harvest. They're like, "The devil is a liar. I'mma plant another seed." It's only the ones that don't give that want

Even when you have a registration, the registration don't pay for everybody flying up in here, all these hotels, all the stuff that's going on, lights is on and all the rest of that kind of stuff. Oh, you've been faithful. Uh you've been faithful with little, but get ready. God is getting ready to make you ruler over many. Get ready. He about to 10x this thing. Get ready. It's about to be a

The materials that you need for whatever it is that you're building, all materials are not equal. Somebody needs software. Somebody needs engineers. Oh my God. My God. But God said the material whether it be steel, whether it
