00 I have been testing about every skin tint that I could get my hands on. I have 16 of them here that I have put through the paces. I have notes. I have worn these several different days in several different ways and I am here to give you my thoughts on all of them. This is a skin tint roundup for mature skin. I am 51 years old. I have normal skin and I've tried out all of these skin tints so that you don't have to. Hopefully, this will help you. If you are in the market for a skin tint, it's about that time of year, and you want to know the lowdown on some of the most popular brands from the perspective of someone with mature skin, then you are in the right place. Let's get into this roundup. Okay, so I first just kind of
46 want to lay down the not criteria, but the groundwork, right? Like what I did in the demonstrations. I'm going to insert clips of me trying each of these skin tints on. I put all of them on with my finger in the demo just for consistency. I did not use primer. I don't have anything on my skin except my skin care. I applied the skin tints to one half of my face so that you could see any difference in coverage. I do have a coverage scale. I just wanted to let you know what you would be seeing in the application clips. So, we are going to start from lightest to most coverage or as as close as I could get to that. Some of them are questionable or they have like the same amount of coverage. For the most part, we're starting with the shearest and building up to the fullest coverage. Let's just get right
33 into it. We're going to start out with the N beauty project mineral sunlow. This is not really a skin tint, but it does have something. So, I just wanted to include it in case you're curious about this. This is what I've been using as my sunscreen, but it does offer like not coverage, but maybe just a little bit of um enhancing on the skin. That's why I'm including it here. It's not marketed as a skin tint, but I just wanted to give you my thoughts on it. Comes in three shades. It is $35 for 1.7 oz. It is unscented. It is a mineral sunscreen with an SPF of 43. It is undetectable on the skin. The finish is slightly glowy, not really dewy, just maybe a slight glow. The packaging is super easy to use. It does not settle in
20 any lines or wrinkle wrinkles. So, here is the in beauty project. I have mine in the shade fair medium. Next, we have the Glossier Skin Tint. I have mine in the shade G11. 1 oz is $28. There are 12 shades in the range. This has no SPF. The coverage on this is what I would call sheer. It is a very gentle step above the in beauty project. The wear time on this is excellent. No issues with wear. Of course, it's pretty much invisible, so you wouldn't really know if there were an issue with wear, but even when I build this up, it lasts all day. Having said that, it is buildable. I put on two layers just to show you that you can get a little bit of coverage. It does not settle into lines or wrinkles. It is 100% undetectable on the skin. You cannot see products
05 sitting on your skin with this. The finish is a soft matte kind of like natural finish. It's really invisible. The packaging is this little dropper application. Super cute, super easy to use. This is a beautiful texture on the skin. It's very smoothing on the skin. It's quite sheer. I mean, it's obviously very, very sheer. So, it's not a coverage product necessarily, but it does somehow make your skin look better, and you can build it up to get a little bit of coverage. This is one product where I do believe that the shade range is flexible. A lot of companies say that their shade range is flexible. This one truly is. It is so sheer that I don't really think it matters a great deal what color you have. Now, I have tried this in shades that were too dark for me
52 and they did look too dark. However, if it's slightly too dark or slightly too light, it doesn't really matter. There is some flexibility in the shade range. And here is a swatch of that in shade G11. It does shear out to be invisible on the skin. This is unique in that it is the sheerest, most undetectable complexion product I have ever seen. It's nice if that's what you're looking for. This is the Makeup Forever Super Boost Skin Tint. I have mine in the shade 03. This is $36 for 1 oz. It does have a scent, an artificial scent. There are 18 shades in this range. It does not have any SPF. The coverage is sheer to light. It does have more coverage than the Glossier, but it's not what I would
38 call even a light coverage. I would call it sheer to light. It has a long wear. I will get some shine breakthrough with this. Not much, but you know, a little bit. It is also buildable. You can build this up. It does not settle in fine lines or wrinkles. It is undetectable on the skin at 10 times magnification. The packaging is kind of gimmicky, and I'm not a fan of this. I I don't like the way that it looks. It has this little accordion button on the end that you're supposed to be able to press to get the product out, but it does not really work. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This is the Makeup Forever in shade three. So, there's something about this that I don't love on me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it is not my favorite skin tint. This is just your basic skin tint. It doesn't really do anything wrong, but on me, it's it
25 doesn't really make me look better. It can kind of make me look a little flat, a little I I can't quite figure out what it is. It's almost got a chalky look and it's not the shade. It's more the formulation of it. It's not my favorite. Priced well. If you're looking for like a sheer to light coverage skin tint and you're not offended by the smell, the smell is quite strong. Then I can see this working great for a lot of people. On me, it's not quite enough of any of the things that I look for in a skin tint. And the things that I look for is are the main thing is something that is going to make my skin look better. And this I don't feel like this makes my skin look particularly better. It almost
10 I think makes it look worse. So, this is just this one is just not my favorite. Again, it's not bad. I I don't find myself reaching for this one at all really. It's just kind of a forgettable formula. I've tried so many so many of them stand out to me in one way or another. That one just kind of doesn't, you know what I mean? It's just kind of like it's good. It's not mature skin friendly. It's just not my favorite. All right. Westmin Itilier. This is the most expensive skin tint in this lineup. This is the Westmin Itilier vital skin care complexion drops. Now, I like this product. Some people love this, some people absolutely hate it. I have mine in the shade Itilier 2. This is a very moisturizing product. One ounce for $68. It is unscented, but it does have what I
55 believe to be a squala scent, and I will explain. I have several here that smell like this. You're really going to hate it or it's not going to bother you. I am one of the few people that don't mind this scent. In fact, I kind of like it, but we'll get into that. There are 20 shades in this range. It does not have SPF. It is a longwear product, but you I do get some shine breakthrough and I am not oily. I have normal skin. It is buildable. You can build it up. The coverage on this, I would say, is a solid light. Like not sheer to light, not light to medium, but light. It does have some coverage, and you don't need much of it. You just need a couple of drops. I blend this in with my fingers. This is one that I prefer to use with my fingers because it is quite a I don't want to say oily, but oily. I mean,
43 that's the that's the best word I can think of to describe it. It is quite an oily texture, you know, blending it in. It doesn't look oily on the skin. It's a very similar texture to the Ilia, which we will get into. This does slightly settle into my lines, I think, because of how emolient it is. It is very moisturizing, very hydrating, and it is slightly detectable on the skin at 10 times magnification. It is not invisible. I think it's because it does have, you know, a little bit more coverage. The packaging is cute. I like the little container. It is just a squeezy bottle, very small, very compact. It doesn't take up a lot of space in your makeup collection. And it is a dewy finish rather than a glowy. It's quite dewy. Bottom one here is the Westmin Itilier 2. So, the things that
31 are unique about this one is that it is incredibly hydrating. It is probably the most hydrating of all of these. If you are super dry, I think that you would really enjoy this. I have normal skin and it works for me. I really like this. I think it feels really nice on the skin. It does feel like skin care. It feels like a very moisturizing skin care product. It's not a weightless product on my face. Like you can feel it. So, if that's something that you don't like, you might not like this. Now, having said that, you can feel it. But to me, it just feels like like I said, like skin care. It blends in like skin care. To me, I feel more comfortable using my fingers, just smoothing it out over the skin, and going about my day. I do really like this. I know that it's it
18 has a split audience, right? It's I'm on the side that really likes this. However, $68, there are some in here I like more. Next, I have the Hourglass Veil Hydrating Skin Tint. I have this in the shade 5, 1.1 oz for $49. There is no scent to this product. There are 18 shades in the range. It does not have SPF and the coverage is what I would call light. The wear time on this is excellent. I get 8 hours plus out of this. It is slightly buildable. You can build it up for more coverage if needed. It does not settle into lines and wrinkles. It is undetectable on the skin. Even at 10 times magnification, you cannot see this product. The packaging on this is cute. It's a squeezy tube. It's nice. It's the same
06 packaging as their new foundation. It's important to note that I like this better than the new foundation. This is a gorgeous skin tone. The finish on this is satin to glowy. And the shade match on me is not perfect. It's slightly too orange. The downside to this is that they don't have a perfect shade match for me in this range. All their colors run very peachy orange. I need like a a neutral yellow or a neutral olive for my skin. and peachy oranges are just not the vibe for me. Having said that, I really do love this formula. I think it is beautiful on the skin. It's a very high quality skin tint. I do think that despite the high price tag, this is gorgeous, especially for more mature skin, especially if you have dry skin.
52 Now, again, I have normal skin and this wears beautifully on me. It's not too greasy. It's not too matte. It's like the Goldilocks of tinted moisturizers. really really love this one. This is the Hourglass Veil in shade five on the bottom here. Next, the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in natural dewy. I have this in the shade 1W blonde. You get 1.5 oz for $50. It is unscented, but you can smell the SPF. It is a mineral and chemical combination SPF SPF 30. The coverage on this is what I would call light coverage, like a solid light coverage. The wear time on this is excellent. I get eight plus hours of wear out of this with no fading. It's very smoothing on the skin. It is
38 buildable. You can build it up for more coverage if needed. It does not settle into lines, wrinkles, pores, anything like that. It's very smoothing on the skin. It is undetectable on the face even at 10 times magnification. The packaging on this is a dropper, a squeezy tube, not a dropper. And um it's very easy to use and it is a beautiful formula. The finish on this is glowy. Slightly dewy, just very slightly. I wouldn't call it dewy at all. That's the shade 1W. What I love about this skin tint, tinted moisturizer, tinted sunscreen is how it looks on the skin. It is glowy, but like I said, it's very smoothing. It's not texture enhancing. It's not pore enhancing. It does not settle into your fine lines or wrinkles. It wears all
24 day. It is a gorgeous complexion product. I cannot wear this every single day because I have a sensitivity to the chemical sunscreen in here. At least that's what I think it is. Anytime I wear something with a chemical sunscreen, I get a breakout. So, I'm thinking that I have a sensitivity to some of the filters in here. But I can wear it, you know, every third day or whatever and I with zero issues. And it is just beautiful. It's so lovely on the skin. I feel like this was eclipsed by all of the other foundation releases at the beginning of this year. This is a reformulation, but it is a beautiful reformulation. This skin tint is so pretty on mature skin. I really, really like this one. They also have a mini of this, so you don't have to get the full
09 size. You can just get half an ounce, I believe, instead of the 1.5 oz. This will last forever. You get so much product in here. This is one of my favorites, too. Next up, we have the Jones Row Just Enough Tinted Moisturizer. This is $44 for 1.69 oz. I have mine in the shade ivory. There is no SPF in this product. There are 16 shades in the lineup. The coverage on this, I would say, is a solid light. Yeah, I would say a solid light. The wear time on this is excellent. It is undetectable on the skin, even at 10 times magnification. It does not settle into lines or wrinkles. It is buildable. I really like the packaging on this. It's just sleek. It's kind of a slim tube. It's minimal design. I like it. I
57 think it's beautiful. It is an excellent shade match for me. This is ivory. Now, this is a very easy to use skin tint. This is one that you can flap on with your fingers, run out the door. It gives you coverage. The name is excellent. Just enough. It gives you just enough coverage. Like, it's not too much. It's not too little where you're just like, why did I even put that on? It gives you enough and it's a beautiful smoothing formula on mature skin. The finish on this, I would say, is like a natural, like a satin to natural. It's not matte. It's not glowy. It's not dewy. At least on my skin, my normal skin. I really like this. This is a newer one to me, but I have worn it several different ways with powder, without powder. The wear is always excellent. It looks
43 beautiful on the skin. It does make you look healthy and, you know, refreshed. It's not one that makes you look tired or older. Sometimes they can do that. I feel like that's my issue with the Makeup Forever is it just makes me look a little older for some reason. I can't figure out why this one doesn't. The downside to this is going to be that I can only find it on Jones Road. There is a very high shipping charge to purchase this, but I think it's a good one. I think it's a really solid skin tint. Next up is one of my absolute favorites of all time, the Typology Tinted Serum. This is 1 oz for $44.90 at the time of filming. I'm sure it will go up as everything does. It is unscented, but there is that squalain
29 scent. At least I think it's a squaline scent. It smells the same as the Westminatilia and the Ilia and a couple of others we haven't gotten to. There are only six shades in this range. That is going to be the biggest downside that I can think of for this product. The coverage on this is a solid light. I've seen other people review it. They have called it sheer. I think the perceptions of coverage are different on different skin types. I think that perception of coverage can vary based on the shade selection. On me, this provides a light coverage. The wear time on this is excellent. I get all day wear. It looks the same from morning to night. I get no shine breakthrough. does not break up on me. It looks absolutely flawless from morning to night. It is slightly
14 buildable. You can build this up if needed. I don't ever feel the need to because I feel like it is perfecting enough in just one layer. More so than just the coverage. I feel like it is perfecting on the skin. It does not settle into lines or wrinkles. It is undetectable on the skin even at 10 times magnification. The packaging is unique. It is a dropper which you've seen before. our little pipette, but it's very slim fit, very compact, very like French apothecary. Super cute. I absolutely love the packaging of the Typology products. And I love the Typology Skin Tint. This is a swatch. I have mine in the lightest shade, which is fair T1 or is shade one. And there's something
00 about this skin tint that remains a standout amongst all of these skin tints. It is super super perfecting on the skin beyond, like I said, beyond just the coverage. It is very smoothing. It blurs your pores. It blurs your texture. It doesn't enhance anything that you don't want enhanced. It's a gorgeous skin tan. The downsides to this are going to be, of course, the shade range and the fact that this is a direct to consumer brand. I cannot find this in the stores. Nobody sells this except Typology. However, Typology is a skincare focused brand. Skincare First, their products, I trust them. I think that they're gorgeous. I also really like the concealer, but that's another
45 video. This is a standout to me. This is the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. It's one fluid ounce and the price is $48. It is unscented, but it does smell of squaline. I believe that that is the scent, right? It's the same smell that these have and a couple of others that we haven't made it to yet. So, it is a smell that I see a lot of people on a lot of websites in the review section complain about. To a lot of people, it's a very offensive smell. Again, to me, it is not. It does not bother me at all. I kind of like the smell. It's almost nostalgic for me because I've used this product off and on for so long. It has been out for years and it is still a solid solid skin tint. It's gorgeous on the skin. They have 30 shades in the
32 shade range. I believe that is the largest shade range of any skin tint that we are going to be looking at today. It does have SPF. It's an SPF 40 and it is a mineral sunscreen. The coverage on this is light to medium. Light to light medium. It's a little bit more than light to me. It is buildable, so you can build up the coverage if needed. It is a very, very longwear product. I have no issues with wear with the Ilia Skin Tint. It does not settle into lines or wrinkles, and it is undetectable at 10 times magnification. You cannot see this product sitting on the face. The finish is quite glowy and dewy until it sets and then it sets to a like I would say a satin finish. On me,
19 this does set down. The packaging is a dropper. It's a little pipette. You do have to shake this very well. I've also seen people complain about the packaging leaking. Mine never has. And I've owned this in several different shades several different times. This is my summer shade. It is very, very dark on me. It is ST 11.5. It was even dark on me in the summer. It's in the store lighting. It looks like it matched. Whatever. This is what I ended up with. It is a very thin serum formula. It might be the thinnest out of all of these. Yeah, I think it is. Well, this and the Lisa Aldridge, but here is a swatch of that. You can see it's already dripping down. Like, it's very, very thin. And I put just a small amount on there because of
05 the texture. This is one that I like to use with my fingers. It is a It's very similar to the Westminatilier complexion drops except this one kind of sets down a little better than that one. The Ilia I do suggest applying that with fingers. It has this strange consistency that when you start to rub it in it almost looks like it's separating on the skin. I think because of the high like maybe oil content. However, as you rub it in, it sets down. It's very smoothing on the skin. It does not look patchy on me. I mean, it might in the footage because of the shade mismatch, but I'm talking about the formula. The formula is not patchy. It's a beautiful skin tint. And even after all these years, like I think
52 it's a solid performer. I think it should be a consideration if you're looking for a new skin tint even in 2025. I think it holds up and I think it's absolutely gorgeous on mature skin. It is one of the most beautiful on mature skin in my opinion. And this is the lip tinted hue guard. I only have a trial size of this, but I wanted to include it because it is a tinted moisturizer. It is marketed as a skin tint. This is $42 for 1.35 oz. It comes in 11 shades. There is no artificial fragrance that I can detect, but it does have a faint scent of squaline. Smells very similar to the Ilia. It is not visible on the skin even at 10 times magnification. It does not settle. It does have, like I said, a mineral SPF of
40 50. The packaging, this is just a squeezy tube. The packaging is a pump in the full size. I would call the coverage on this light. It has more coverage than I expected. The wear time is is solid. It have some shine breakthrough. Nothing major, just a little. It is buildable. And the finish on me is glowy to dewy. The texture on this is thicker, more of like a cream consistency. It's one of the thicker formulas that we've looked at so far. It's got a creamier consistency. The shade match in this little trial size is not perfect on me. This is a good skin tint. It just reminds me a lot of some of the other ones. We'll get into that. In fact, the one that it reminds me of the most is coming up next. It's not one that I feel
25 the need to go out and purchase because it doesn't do anything that the other ones that all of these others that I have don't, but it is solid. Like, if you've seen it in Ulta and you are curious about it and you're looking for a mineral sunscreen, and I think that this is probably the least expensive of the ones with the mineral sunscreen. I think it's I think it's a solid performer. The shade range is quite small, but it's much bigger than the Typology. Next up is the Tower 28 Sunny Days Tinted Sunscreen. This is $32 for 1 oz. So, I guess I was wrong. This is well $32 versus 42. You get less in this, but the initial cost is less than the tinted. That's great. This is unscented. There are 17 shades in the range. This does have SPF is a mineral
12 SPF, SPF 30. The coverage on this, I find this to have more coverage than most of the people that I have seen review this product. On me, I would call this a medium coverage. This has a lot of coverage. Maybe it's just the shade that I have. I'm not sure, but I get a solid medium out of this. It is one of the higher coverage products. The wear time on this is very long. I get eight plus hours. At that 8 plus hour mark, I do have some texture showing on my chin where it looks like it could be getting a bit dry, could be breaking up a little. It is buildable. It does settle slightly in lines and texture. It is a thicker formula and I think that that has something to do with it. At 10 times magnification, this is slightly detectable on the face. I can see it ever so slightly on my skin and settling
59 into my lines. The packaging on this is super cute, super easy to use, super effective. I really like the packaging. I love skin tints that come in plastic packaging. I just think it makes sense for a skin tint. The finish on this is satin in my opinion when it sets down. I have the shade 15 Melrose. It's a decent shade match. I do wish it were slightly more yellow. It's a little more neutral than yellow in my opinion. So, this is the Tower 28 and it is thinner than the Live Tinted. For some reason, I thought it was going to be as thick. It's not. I think on the skin it's just a little bit heavier. So, in my mind, that correlates to a heavier product, like a heavier uh consistency, but it's not. As you can see, it's dripping down my hand. So, it's thin. It's just a heavier coverage.
46 There is something about this that keeps it from being one of my top tinted sunscreens. I can't tell you what it is. I think it's that it's ever so slightly drying on me. Like when it breaks up on my chin and shows texture, it looks almost the slightest bit dry. That is an issue with a mineral sunscreen. They can be very drying. Zinc is very drying on the skin. However, a lot of these skin tint formulations, if they have zinc in it, they put a lot of hydrating ingredients in there to kind of compensate for the drying nature of the sunscreen. This one might not have enough hydrating products for my mature skin. And I'm not dry. I would say it's just normal. It's not dry. It's not oily. Uh, this just isn't quite hydrating enough on me. It is initially,
32 but by the end of the day, it looks just ever so slightly dry on me. It's still a solid performer for the price. And if you want a tinted sunscreen, and I think if you have oily skin, like normal to oily, not super oily, but normal to oily, I think that you would really like this one. I think that out of the ones that I have here that have sunscreen, this would be the most oily skin friendly. Although, I'm not claiming that it's going to be oily skin friendly. I'm saying the most out of the ones that I've talked about so far. Next up, we have the Milk Makeup Hydrogrip Gel Tint. This is $36 for 1 oz. The packaging is super cute. This is unscented. There are 15 shades in the range. There is no SPF in this product. The coverage on this is more light to
18 medium to medium. It's got more coverage than a lot of these other products that I am talking about. The wear time on this is also excellent. It is buildable if you need to build it. I don't think that it's it needs it really, but you can slightly build this. It does settle into my fine lines and it is detectable on the skin at 10 times magnification. Barely, but it is. The packaging is nice and easy to use. It is a squeezy tube. Love the blue packaging. This is the Milk Makeup right here. That's shade five. So, it's odd for me to be shade five. I think that these run really, really light, which is good for a lot of very fair people that have a hard time finding shades. I've tried shade three and four. Initially, they were too pink.
04 This one looks the warmest to me, so it works the best. It is a very dewy finish. You can set it down. If you don't want that super intense glow, you can set this and it takes powder products very well. It wears really well. This is not one of my favorites. And the reason for that is because to me this you can feel it on the skin. It feels quite heavy. It's very similar to me in feeling to the Westmin Itellier. Like you can feel the hydration. It's a very thick formula and it doesn't kind of melt into the skin in my opinion. It kind of sits on top of it. It does a beautiful job of sitting on top of the skin, right? Like for a product that sits on the skin, it's quite undetectable. It's quite lovely in my opinion. you can see it. This is not my
51 favorite. It doesn't It doesn't make my skin look great. I know a lot of people really love this product. And I think if you have really, really dry skin or absolutely no texture or you want something that feels nourishing on the skin that you can actually physically feel, this could be the one for you. It was not the one for me. But it's not a bad product. You know what I mean? This definitely has a market. It's just I like for things that feel and look a little more weightless on the skin. This is the RMS Sun Coverup. This is $49 for 1 oz, making it one of the more expensive products in this lineup. There isn't a fragrance, but it does smell. It smells like the Ilia and the Typology and the Westminatellier live tinted. It
39 just has that scent. It's not an offensive scent to me, but it is an offensive scent to many. So, just be aware of that that this you you might absolutely be turned off by the smell of this. There are 13 shades in the range. There is SPF in this. It is a mineral SPF of 50. The coverage on this is more foundation level to me. This is a solid medium. This is one of the higher coverage products that I have here in this lineup for a skin tint. The wear time on this is excellent. I get eight plus hours. This wears like a foundation to me. This feels like a foundation. It is packaged like a foundation. It is buildable. It does settle into lines and texture and it is detectable on the skin
24 at 10 times magnification. It's not bad by any means, but you can see it. The packaging is very luxurious. It's solid heavy glass bottle. I do wish it came in a plastic tube. The finish on this is glowy to dewy. The shade that I have is cameo. This is a summer shade for me. Let me get a swatch. You do have to shake this up. It does separate in the container. So, this is the shade cameo. Again, that's more of a summer shade on me. It's very, very liquidy. You can see it running down my arm. It's really nice. If you want coverage and you want a mineral SPF, this is the way to go. It is the highest coverage mineral SPF product that I own. Like I said, it applies and looks more like a foundation. This is a beautiful product.
10 I do think it is unique in that it offers a lot of coverage and also a lot of SPF and it is not drying. It is a mineral SPF that is formulated in a way to not dry out your skin. It's solid. I really do like it and in the summer I wear it a lot. And this one is surprising to me. This is the Kylie Cosmetics Skin Tint Blurring Elixir and it is very blurring. This is 1 oz for $32. It is unscented. There are 24 shades in this range. There is no SPF. It has a medium coverage. It is a very longwear product. I get eight plus hours out of this with no shine breakthrough. It is buildable. You can, even though it has a solid medium coverage, to me it's
55 a medium coverage. You can build it up if needed. It does not settle into lines and wrinkles and it is barely detectable on the skin at 10 times magnification. You have to really look for it, but if you look for it, you can see it. The packaging is super cute on this. It's just a little shaky shaky container. Dropper here. Cute little dropper here. I have the shade 2N. This is a Kylie in 2N. It's a It's a lovely shade. It's a It's a warm neutral. Really, really pretty. I will say this shocked me because I wasn't expecting anything from this. I just picked it up because I'm, you know, was planning to do this video and wanted to see how this would perform. The first day I put this on, I was shocked at how beautiful it looked on the skin. It is so blurring and so
41 perfecting. It is more of a matte look, like a soft matte. It's not a drying, harsh matte. It's gorgeous on the skin. It's really lovely for my mature skin. Again, I have normal skin. It is a very thin matte formula that doesn't look dry or cakey on the skin. If you want a matte skin tint, this is the best one that I have found and it is not like a harsh matte. It's not a drying matte. It's not a thick or heavy matte. It looks like skin. It just melts in with the skin and makes your skin look flawless. I mean, it's not full coverage. You'll still be able to see flaws if you have them, but I'm saying the texture of your skin looks flawless. This is a really, really good skin tint.
28 I mean, the Kardashians don't need me putting any more money in their pockets, but this is a solid performer. I went into it biased thinking it was going to be terrible. It's not. It's It's really good. It's really, really good. Like, surprisingly good. And the price is right. I think this would be great in the summertime for the hotter months because it's a more matte finish. I don't want to scare you with a matte finish. It's not like the mattes that we all think of when we think of the mattes of yester year. This is a new matte and it's beautiful. Next up is another one that super surprised me. It is the iconic London blurring skin tint. This is one that I again just picked up for the sake of this video. Wasn't expecting much, but wanted to have kind of a well-rounded selection of products here.
15 So, I grabbed it and I was blown away by it. I'm pretty sure this has already been in a monthly favorites. If not, it will be in the next one. It's so good. It's so good. This is the same price as the Kylie Skin Tint. This is $32 for one fluid ounce. There are 18 shades in this range. It is unscented and there is no SPF. The coverage on this is like light to medium medium more coverage than I was expecting from a skin tint. It's very longwear. It wears all day. It does not break up. Does not enhance texture. Does not get dry. Does not get oily. It is slightly buildable if needed. It does not settle into lines and it is undetectable on the skin at 10 times magnification. The packaging is a little squeezy container. I have mine in the
01 shade warm fair. This is the shade warm fair. The finish on this is a soft matte. It is not as matte as the Kylie, but it leans more matte than anything. It is so blurring and smoothing on the skin. This is a beautiful skin tint. It is one of my favorites out of all of these that I have been testing. It is in the top five. I absolutely love this. It has a decent shade range and I think that it is priced very well for what it is. This is what I wanted the Fenty East drops to be. And I'm going to talk about some skin tints that I've tried here at the end, but I don't have and why. But this is what I wanted that product to be. It is a soft matte that is not drying. It does not enhance texture. It does not enhance lines. It doesn't enhance dry patches. Gorgeous. Love
50 this. We're down to the last two that I have in front of me. Second to the last is going to be the Danessa Mrix Yummy Skin Serum Skin Tint. Now, this is 1.58 oz for $36. I believe that that makes this the least expensive skin tint in this lineup. There is no scent to this product. There are 20 shades in the lineup. It does not have SPF. The coverage on this, I'm calling it a solid medium. It has a lot of coverage. I think this is the highest coverage skin tint out of all of them. The wear time on this is excellent. I get eight plus hours of wear. It looks flawless from morning to night. It is buildable if you feel that it needs to be built. I've never felt the need to build this product. There is some very, very slight
35 settling in my smile lines with this product. I think because of the texture, it's quite thick. I think that's why it settles. It's not anything offensive. It's not anything you can't just tap out. And it is very, very light. It is very, very slightly visible at 10 times magnification. very slight. Again, for a product that offers as much coverage as this does, I'm surprised that it is not more visible and doesn't settle more. I have this in the shade 4.5. Danessa Marx did recently expand the shade range. Prior to that, I was using shade three. Shade 4.5 is a little bit warmer, a little bit better for my skin tone. There is shade 4.5. You can see this is a thicker
22 formula. Like if you look at all of these skin tints, they are running down my hand. This one is quite thick. It's going to stay there. This is a solid performer. It's a gorgeous formula. You get so much product. This has been out for years. It still holds up. This is something that I repurchased for this video. I wanted to see the new shade. I wanted to include it in my roundup, but I have owned this in the past and it's it's still like it still holds up. It's still a really really beautiful performer. And if I want to look flawless and perfected, this is the one that I'm going to reach for. Is also very smoothing on the skin. The finish is satin. I would say it's not glowy, it's not dewy, and it's not matte. It's
08 like a satin finish. It's beautiful. Like I said, very smoothing, very blurring, very perfecting on the skin. The last one that I have in front of me and the one that I am wearing on my face is the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Tint. $41 for 1 oz of product. There is no scent. There are 18 shades in the range. There is no SPF in this product. The coverage on this, I would say, is light to medium. The wear time on this is excellent. It is another product that looks the same from morning to night. like you get all day wear out of this and it does not change. It looks just as beautiful when you take it off as it did when you put it on. It is buildable. You can build up the coverage if you would like. It does not settle into my lines.
54 It is barely barely detectable at 10 times magnification. You have to really look for it, but if you really look for it, you can see it. The packaging on this is cute. It's like kind of a strange egg shape. Lisa Eldridge's complexion product packaging is a little unusual. Has a flat side here on the back where it just kind of sits at an angle on your counter. It does not bother me. It has a little shaker in there. I'm sure you can hear that. It is a very, very thin formula. What makes this product a stand out to me outside of the performance is the shade. This is a true olive tone. This is the only true olive complexion product that I have ever owned. And let me show you what I mean by that. This is the shade T5. There it is at the bottom. And you can
41 see that that is a true olive. That is by comparison like a grayish green, which is perfect for me. It's what I'm wearing right now. She also has a lighter one like a the T1.5 is also an olive tone, like a true olive tone. So that is something that is unique to Lisa Eldridge that I haven't seen before. any of these ranges. Here are all of those shades. They're all kind of dripping and running together. All of them work for me in different scenarios. That's wild, right? Like those look also different. Some of them look straight up orange. Some look straight up pink. This one looks grayish green. Wild. Wild. Those are all the skin tints that I currently own. I'm going to run through quickly the ones that I have owned in the past
27 that I no longer own. my reasoning why I do think it could be helpful for somebody who is considering purchasing a skin tip. So, I'm going to start with the CL. CL is one fluid ounce for $44. There is no scent. There are 13 shades in the range. It does have an SPF. It is a mineral SPF. In my opinion, that is a medium coverage product. I have owned that in four shades. The wear time on this EL Skin Tint is fantastic. It is also buildable. It does slightly settle in my lines and wrinkles. It is slightly detectable on the skin. The packaging on that is a little dropper. It's a little bit fussy because the dropper has a lid, you know, and then you take the lid off to get to the dropper. It's a little bit fussy. Not a huge fan of the packaging. The finish on it is a satin finish. Now, why don't I have it? Because there is
12 not a shade for me. Like I said, I have owned that in four shades. I've tried everything trying to find a shade match because I really do like the formula, but all of them are too orangey pink on me. They just don't work. That one is a no-go for me, but it is a good formula. If you can find a shade that works for you, I do highly recommend that product. I think it's more foundation level coverage than skin tint. Gorgeous. I'm going to briefly touch on the SE sunscreen. That is one that I absolutely love. Like I think it's very very sheer, very light, very easy to wear, very hydrating on the skin, but they do not have a a shade that works for me. Their shades are so peachy orange. There's just not one that works for me. That's like another product that I tried like three shades and couldn't get a skin tone match in. So, it's they're all just too dark or peachy or pink or orangey on
00 me. So, they don't have a a shade that matches me in the say, but I do really like that formula. I don't have anything bad to say about it. It's a mineral SPF. I think if you can find a shade that works, I think it's priced well. I think SE is a brand overall is very nice range. Summer Fridays is again a skin tint that they just don't have a shade that matches me. Their shades are far too pink and orangey and dark and none of them worked for me that match me. It's just your very basic to me. Nothing, you know, out of the ordinary. It didn't do anything wrong. It was just very easy to use, very sheer. It applied beautifully with the fingers. I really liked it, but no shade. I tried that when it first came out and I haven't I haven't revisited it since. Same with the say um the Fenty ease drops. I
46 really liked those. I went through an entire bottle of them, but they were a little bit drying. Now that I've tried other things, I don't think I would go back to them because they did seem to enhance texture on me. At the time, I didn't really mind it, but now that I've tried so many things that don't do that, I don't really have a desire to go back to that. But the shade range is fantastic. Fenty does complexion in a way that is just gorgeous. Um, the Nars tinted sunscreen is really, really good, but that is a chemical sunscreen. is not one that I have revisited since it first released because the chemical filters in that caused a reaction on my skin, but I did really like that. I do think it's a really good tinted sunscreen. And then the Rare Beauty. The Rare Beauty is a beautiful skin tint. It has a great
31 shade range. It's just that it is a chemical SPF. It's one that is is just doesn't really agree with my skin. So, I haven't repurchased that one. The only skin tint that I own with a chemical SPF is the Laura Mercier and I really like it and it works for me as long as I don't wear it like two weeks in a row or something. All right, so that's it. Let's talk about my favorites. We're going to go through my top five skin tints after trying all of these. And I have been trying them for months. This is not just something that I pulled together for the sake of this video. The demos that you're seeing are just me applying them to show you the coverage level. That's not the first time I've worn them. I have worn them over and over. I have worn them with powder, without powder. I've worn them with two different powders. I have really put them through the paces and I have a
17 solid grasp on these skin tints and I'm going to tell you which ones are my top five. I'm not really going to do these in any order because I wouldn't even know how. I'm going to say the Jones Road just enough. I'm kind of cheating here because these remind me a lot of each other in their texture. Hourglass would be in here if there were a shade that matched me, but there's not, so I can't talk about that one. The Laura Mercier would also be in here if it weren't for the fact that it that that I react to the sunscreen filters in here if I use it too much. But this is gorgeous. This is a newer skin tint to me, but it's so good. It's so good. I do wish that it were easier to come by, that you didn't have to order it directly from Jones Road and pay that high shipping, but there's no denying that it's a beautiful complexion product, especially for mature skin.
03 Typology is just always going to be in my favorites. There is something so special about this formula. It is so perfecting on the skin. It almost does the work for you. You put it on, it just blends itself out. It sinks into the skin. It wears so well. The only negative thing that I can say about this formula is that there are only six shades. And to me, it offers enough coverage that they're they just can't be flexible. This is not the Glossier skin tint where like this color could probably cover a variety of skin tones. I don't think that the Typology is that flexible because it does have some coverage. Having said that, I can't not mention it as one of my favorites because it is it's so good. If you can find a shade that matches, I don't think
49 that you would be disappointed in the formula. The Danessa Myrix is more foundation than skin tint. To me, it offers so much coverage, but there is no denying that this is a beautiful formula. If you want that perfected look, if you want more coverage than a skin tint, don't let the phrase skin tint steer you away from this. It's gorgeous. It's so perfecting on the skin. It offers so much coverage. It's got a fantastic shade range and the price is right on this. I feel like mature skin beauties are going to love this one. And then the iconic London. This is a newer one to me, but it is so good. It's so good. I have to also mention the Kylie Skin Tint because these two products are very similar to me. This is slightly more matte. That's what I would say the difference in these two is. This one feels just slightly
36 more hydrating. This one just barely beats the Kylie Skin Tint in my opinion. They're This is gorgeous. I absolutely love this. They are the same price though. And I would just say if you want something a little more matte, go for this one. If you want something a little, you know, soft matte, go for this one. This one might have just the slightest bit more coverage, the Kylie, but really I I would say they're pretty interchangeable. And then like 100% my number one skin tint. And those weren't in any particular order. I love them all. I love them all, but the one that takes the cake. The one skin tint to rule them all has got to be the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin. This can just do no wrong in my opinion. There are no
22 flaws, no notes. absolutely love it. It's the easiest to apply. No effort required. It This reminds me a lot of the typology in the application method. Like this is the same. You just put it on, it just does the work for you. It blends in. This is like that. It's just so darn easy to work with. And it's got a decent shade range. I do hope that she comes out with more shades because this does have coverage. And I don't think these shades are like flexible shades, you know, like I couldn't see somebody with pink undertones, even if they're the same depth as me, making T5 work because it is so specifically olive and neutral. I mean, it's like a gray green, which is incredibly hard to find in complexion
08 products, but some people are just that color. I mean, I'm wearing it and it melts in perfectly with my skin. This is the one. This is that girl. the one skin tint to rule them all. It's hard for me to envision a skin type or texture or tone that would not enjoy this product. It's not drying. It's not super glowy. It's just like a natural finish. It looks like your skin. This just looks like perfected your skin. It doesn't look like you're wearing makeup. Out of the 20ome skin tints that I've mentioned, this is my favorite. So, that was a lot. I have been talking for a really, really long time. I hope that this was helpful in some way. If you have any questions about any of these skin tints, I tried to touch on categories that I thought people would
54 be interested in, but if there's something I missed, let me know. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you for watching this video. I will have everything linked in the comments along with my shades if you find that helpful and I will see you soon in my next video. Until then, please take care of yourselves. Bye. [Music]
