Announcements and Introduction

The speaker begins by wishing everyone a Happy Father's Day and then proceeds with several announcements. Outreach took place yesterday, with one salvation and prayers with 21 people. ETBTC students have a test this week, with no teaching, and midweek service will resume on the 25th at 6:30 PM. Life Group is scheduled for the 19th, and Family Fun Night will be on the 22nd at 5:00 PM. Men's breakfast is set for the 28th at 9:00 AM. A special guest minister, Dr. Melody Lavin, will be speaking at the end of the month, with a believers meeting that Sunday night oriented toward worship.

Tithes and Offerings - The Goodness of God

The speaker transitions into tithes and offerings, referencing Psalm 136:1, "Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, for his loving kindness is everlasting." The speaker explains that our understanding of "good" is weak compared to God's pure form of goodness, which is like comparing coal to a diamond. In 2 Chronicles 5:12-14, the glory of the Lord filled the house of God when the Levitical singers praised Him, highlighting that God inhabits the praises of His people. Praising God reveals more of Him, and if you feel far from God, offer a sacrifice of praise. Experiencing God changes your view of the Bible, making it personal and desirable to read.

Praising God and Honoring Leaders

The speaker encourages the congregation to practice praising God, emphasizing that He inhabits those praises and reveals different facets of Himself. The congregation begins to praise God, thanking Him for His goodness and loving-kindness. The speaker reminds everyone that praising God should not be limited to corporate worship but should be a constant practice. The church body then presents gifts to the bishop and pastor for Father's Day and an upcoming birthday, including vision boards representing their aspirations.

Sermon: The Goodness of God and Walking Uprightly

The bishop begins his sermon by referencing Psalms 84:11, stating that God is a sun and shield who bestows grace, favor, and future glory. He emphasizes that everything from God is good, better than just "good." He shares a story about Dr. Seville, who showed goodness even to those who tried to harm him, emphasizing that the goodness of God leads to repentance. The bishop stresses the importance of walking uprightly, which means living with integrity and doing good, referencing Acts 10:38, where Jesus went about doing good.

Truths and Walking in God's Goodness

The bishop continues by stating that God is all sunshine and there is no darkness in Him. He clarifies that God does not put sickness on people to teach them; instead, He puts goodness on them. Quoting scripture, he reminds the congregation that goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their lives. He emphasizes that integrity is key to God's goodness and unlocks more of it. Walking uprightly means living in truth, sincerely, and undefiled.

Faith, Rewards, and Abundant Life

The bishop references James 1:17, stating that every good and perfect gift is from above. He emphasizes the importance of believing that God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him, referencing Hebrews 11:6. He encourages the congregation to believe that something good is going to happen to them because God is good. He contrasts living an ordinary life with living an abundant life, stating that Christ came to give them more than just life, but abundant life.

Overcoming Evil with Good

The bishop emphasizes that one cannot come to God doubting His reality or goodness, as that cancels faith. Faith is the access key to goodness and more. He encourages the congregation to expect more from God and to overcome evil with good, not with anger or revenge. He shares personal anecdotes and biblical references to illustrate how goodness can be a powerful weapon against evil.

Goodness as the Answer

The bishop stresses that the church should be the answer to the problems in the community and the world. He shares examples of how the church has provided practical help, such as paying off school lunch accounts and offering resources to a pastor whose church burned down. He encourages the congregation to let goodness flow out of them and to be a source of goodness wherever they go.

Treasure Hunting and Altar Call

The bishop shares a story about "treasure hunting," where he and his wife would seek out people in need based on prophetic guidance. He emphasizes that God speaks to those who listen and that the church should be focused on outreach and showing goodness to others. He concludes with an altar call, inviting those who feel the dam of goodness is stopped up in their lives or who need to be the answer to a situation to come forward for prayer.

Prayer and Benediction

The bishop leads a prayer, asking for a big dose of goodness to be poured out in the room. He prays for those who are struggling and for those who need to be the answer to a situation. He speaks the goodness of God over their homes, families, and expectations. He then invites those with bad health reports to come forward for prayer, speaking the goodness of God over their bodies. Finally, the youth group presents gifts, and the bishop gives a benediction, encouraging everyone to walk in goodness as they go.

7:23 Good morning. Happy Father's Day. All you fathers out there, spiritual, natural, ones that will be, ones that already are, all you men, it's a happy happy day, isn't it? All right. Um, I want I have a couple announcements that I want to go over this morning, just real quick. some things that we don't want to miss out on for the rest of this month. I know we're already halfway through the month of June, but we still have so much going on. So, we had outreach yesterday. Raise your hand if you went on outreach yesterday. Several of you did. I heard you had a wonderful time. We had a salvation yesterday. We're winning this county. Hallelujah. Winning this county to the Lord one salvation at a time, huh? It's only a

8:09 matter of time before the the wave starts to crest and the title wave goes, right? One at a time until it gets to 50, until it gets to a hundred, until it gets to thousands. And then what are we going to do? Win them all. There's the rest of the world, right? Prayed with 21 people. They they had a wonderful time out there yesterday. Praise God. If you didn't have an opportunity to be there with them this month, there will be another opportunity next month. Uh so take advantage of that. As a reminder, this week, uh, ETBTC, all you ETBTC students, you have a test this week. But as a reminder, there will be no actual teaching this week. So, unless you want to sit and watch people take tests, uh, if you're not part of

8:55 the classes, there's really no reason for you to come. So, unless you want to be the cheering squad for the people taking tests, whatever you want to do, but they will make you be quiet, so you can silently cheer in the background. You can pray. Yes, pray for them. So, uh, that will be this Wednesday. I believe everybody's taking the test this Wednesday. Um, and then as a reminder, the following Wednesday, the 25th, will be our first midweek service starting back up again. So, at 6:30 starting on the 25th of the month, be sure to come and take part in that midweek service. It's going to be amazing. We'll have that during the summer uh until school starts up again. If you are interested in that school, if you want to be part of ETBTC, if you want to be part of all

9:42 that learning and growing that's happening, go ahead and talk to Mike Lavin. Raise your hand. Mike Lavin, do a little jig. Yes, that's him. Uh talk to him about that. If you're interested in signing up for this next term that's coming up, life group we have coming up on the 19th. Uh Tom and Mary are currently conspicuously absent, so they can't wave to you, but you know who Tom and Mary are. So, uh, go ahead and join Life Group this, uh, on the 19th. When is that? Is that this week? Oh my goodness. Wow. We are far into the month. Okay. So, go ahead and take part in that. Family fun night is coming up next Sunday on the 22nd. Yay. Last month, we had it right after church. This month, we're going to have it at 5:00 PM. So,

10:28 you know, don't stay until 5:00 PM. There will be nobody to entertain you. So, go home, get a nap, get all re-energized for coming back for family fun night so you can get all the fun on family fun night. Okay. Um, men's breakfast we have at the end of the month the 28th starting at 9:00 a.m. If you are a man, you can go ahead and join with that. Uh, there will be food. So, you know, even if you don't hear anything else that happens that morning, you will have your belly filled. So, but we want you to hear what's happening, right? We're just enticing you with the food that will be in your stomach. Okay. Uh and then last but not least, we have a special guest minister that will be speaking at the

11:16 end of this month, the last Sunday of the month. Her name is the most Reverend Dr. Melody Lavin. Yes. Her name is Ma. For me, I call her ma. Ma. Yes. That's what I call her, but you guys can call her something else. You could call her dearest mother. You could call her Dr. Melody. You could call her just Melody. You know, whatever. She'll answer to it. If you say, "Hey, you." She will answer to that, too. I've tried it. Okay. Well, anyway, she will be preaching here on that Sunday morning. You don't want to miss it. And then that Sunday night will be believers meeting and it's going to be oriented toward worship obviously because Melody has to live up to her

12:03 name and her calling. So uh you don't want to miss that. It's going to be an extra special night at the believers meeting. So that will be the last Sunday of the month. If you are not planning to be here, I would rethink your actions and go ahead and plan on being here that evening. Okay, announcements over. Okay, let's go ahead and go into tithes and offerings. Yay. I'm so excited that you're excited about this. This is great. All right. Did not tell you to say yet. Okay. So, this morning, let's go ahead and go over to Psalm 136. Psalm 136 and verse one.

12:50 And it says, "Give thanks to the Lord for he is good for his loving kindness is everlasting." Give thanks to the Lord for he is good. God is good. Amen. Now, our understanding of that word good is kind of it's weak, isn't it? We just we read it in the Bible and we kind of we kind of just glaze right over it because good is just such a meth word. We use it so often now, right? How was your food? Oh, it was good. How was your trip? Oh, it was good. How was your day? Oh, it was good. But really by good you mean you could mean, oh, it was great. Or it

13:36 could mean, oh, it was all right. It was, you know, decent. It was fine. It could be better. I refuse. So, we've kind of we kind of uh lessened that word. So, when we read it in the Bible, we think, "Oh, yeah, God's good. He Yeah, he's all right. He's a pretty decent dude, you know. Yeah, he's good." Right? But that's not what that means, is it? Because when God is something, he is the purest form of that something, right? Our idea of the word good, our earthly idea of the word good is like comparing the coal to the diamond. Okay. So our

14:23 idea of good on this earth is like coal compared to the goodness that is the diamond the purest form that God is. Right? So we need to remember that as we're going through and we're reading. God is good. And even someone with a vast knowledge and revelation of that goodness of God, they've only just scratched the surface. You come across somebody who knows the goodness of God. You just know that they know the goodness of God, how good he is, and they've only just scratched the surface of that goodness. Right? Because his goodness, the

15:10 vastness of his goodness is beyond the vastness of the universe. If you were an astronaut and you went into space, okay, we think about space as this this massive neverending thing, right? You could you could stand on the moon and you could look out into the vastness of space and still that could not contain the goodness that is God. Let's go over to second Chronicles chapter 5. 2 Chronicles chapter 5 vers 12-4. And it says, "And all the Levitical singers, Asaf, Hmon, uh, Jedi, and their sons and

15:59 kinsmen, clothed in fine linen, with symbols, harps, and liars, standing east of the altar, and with them 120 priests, blowing trumpets in unison, when the trumpeters and singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the Lord. And when they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and symbols and instruments of music, and when they praised the Lord, saying, "He indeed is good, for his loving kindness is everlasting." Then after they said these things, after they gave praise to the Lord, the house of the Lord was filled with a

16:46 cloud so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud. For the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. When we praise God, the glory is there. This phrase, this phrase that God is good and that his love or his loving kindness or his mercy endures forever, it's mentioned several times throughout scripture. And each time that it's mentioned, we can see a different facet of God being revealed. We see uh in different instances they say this, they praise God, and his power is present. We see this, they say this, and his glory is present, his deliverance is present.

17:35 It's made known when these things are spoken because it's giving praise to God. The Bible says that God inhabits the praises of his people. And that's not just a turn of phrase or something you can put on a little a little cushion, right? That's not just something cute that the Bible says. It's something that we ought to know because it's the truth. And it's something that we should be aware of because in our praises to God, he is there and more of him is revealed to you in that place. When you praise him and he inhabits that place, more of him is revealed to you. Each and every time you

18:20 praise him, he inhabits that place and another facet of him is revealed to you. So if you are feeling far from God, offer a sacrifice of praise. What does a sacrifice mean? It means putting your flesh under. It's not what your flesh wants to do. Your flesh wants to go sit on the couch and watch TV. Your flesh wants to go take a nap. Your flesh wants to go get that stuff done done that you have on your to-do list, right? No. Stop and take it and make a sacrifice of praise to the Lord God. Make a sacrifice of praise. And when you come face to face with that much goodness, the most natural response

19:07 that you have is to give everything that you are back to him. You want to give everything to him because he is worthy of it. And you say, "Whatever you say, I will say. Whatever you want me to do, I will do because I can see your goodness. I can see these different aspects of who you are, God. And because that's revealed to you, it draws you more to him." Right? So experiencing him changes your view of the Bible, doesn't it? Experiencing him changes the book of the

19:53 Bible from just a book with pages in it that you have to read that your pastor says read this thing and do what it says. Be a doer of the word, right? We kind of get that attitude with it. Read the book. I have to read the Bible again because Pastor Farah told me to. Okay. But it changes when you get to know God. When you get to know him, it becomes personal to you. And then you see it as the gift that it is to you. And you desire beyond anything else to be in that word and to feed upon it and to get it in you and to act upon it. And that all comes from your praises and getting to know God intimately. Amen. So, what we're going to do this

20:40 morning, we've done this uh we've done our declarations before. We're going to get back to it again. But this morning, we're going to skip right over that because I want to practice praising God this morning. Okay? So, if you'd all stand with me together and we're going to practice praising God and as we praise him, what's going to happen? He's going to inhabit those praises. And you're going to be able to see different facets of God. His glory will be made known here, right? You will be able to know more of God as you praise him. So, let's go ahead and begin to praise the Lord this morning. Praise you, Father God, for you are good. Your goodness is

21:27 vast beyond the universe. Your loving kindness endures forever. We praise you, Lord, and we thank you for all that you are, for all that you have been, and for all that you will be. We thank you, Lord, that you inhabit our praises. We thank you, Lord, that we are that you are revealed to us more and more and and in a deeper and more intimate way. We praise you this morning, Lord. Hallelujah. Glory to you Lord. We magnify you Lord. You are strong and mighty. You are the deliverer. You are our

22:14 protector, our provider. You are the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end, the one above all and in all and through all. Hallelujah. Praise you, Father God. We praise you, Lord. Thank you, Father God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise you, Lord. This doesn't have to be just a corporate thing. This is for when you go home. This is for when you're in the car. This is for when you're doing the dishes. This is all the time. Offer a sacrifice of praise to the Lord. Get to know him

23:01 as he wants you to. He is open and willing. He's not some person that's gu that's guarding themselves against you who doesn't want to be known. He is God who wants to be known fully by you just as you are known fully by him. There's nothing you can hide from him. So there's no reason to try. Okay. Thank you. All right. Let's go ahead and be seated. If you haven't prepared your offering this morning, go ahead and prepare that now. Lord, as we give this morning, we give to you out of a heart of love for you. We give because you are our good father. Your goodness goes on forever.

23:47 We thank you, Lord, for your loving kindness which endures that we get to take part in that. Your mercy surrounds us in everything that we do. As we give this morning, we offer this to you out of our love for all that you are. You are worthy of everything that we have. And we give it to you this morning, Lord. As we give it, I ask that you take it and use it in a way that is beyond what it could naturally be used for. I thank you, Lord, that it's as it as it goes to this church that you speak to the people handling the money and that you guide them to use those resources so

24:34 that it can go beyond this church, that it can go beyond this county, that it can go beyond this state, this nation, that it can go out into the world. I thank you for it this morning in Jesus name. Amen. Ushers, you can go ahead and serve the people this morning. And as you're serving the people, I'll go ahead and introduce what we're going to be doing next. Did anybody know that this morning uh was Father's Day? I know that we talked about it a little bit already, but if you weren't paying attention yet, now you can you can lock in and know that it's Father's Day. If you haven't, you know, sent a text to your dad yet or your husband or, you know, whoever it is in your life that's a father figure to you, uh, go ahead and take a minute to do that now because, you know, it's

25:21 already, uh, past 10, so there are feelings occurring. Let's let's keep that strife away. And go ahead and send them a message. That's the only time you're allowed to send a text message during church. Now is an approved moment. Go ahead and do that. Okay. So, we want to praise God this morning for the gift that he's given to us as a church body in our bishop and in our pastor. Happy Father's Day to the father of this house, Bishop. Amen. All right. So, uh the church body has prepared something a little special for you. So, if you want to come up here,

26:08 we have a gift for you this morning. So, if you want to go ahead and bring up just his gift, please. We'll go ahead and do that now. So, uh we have as a church um provided for you this lovely image here. If you want to go ahead and turn around so everybody can see the final product. Yeah. For those of you who don't know, this is uh something that they are believing for his bike. Yes, that's they have big picture vision boards. So, we wanted to present that to you this morning. And not only that, but if you weren't aware, something else special is happening this month. Pastor

26:55 Farah has a birthday coming up this week. So, we wanted to say happy birthday to you. If you want to go ahead and come on up here, we also have something special for you. You don't have You are 30 and international shipping. You'll stay 30 forever. How's that? So, we wanted to present you with a gift as well for your birthday. go ahead and open that up because that is also from the church and we want to make sure that everybody gets to see the the almost finished product. It is a yes a semi finished. So this is a picture

27:43 of her house again for the vision board and I believe what's coming is a canvas wrapped version of it as well but it's not in yet. So you get a a a placeholder for that. The other day, I was riding down a back road and and looked over and I was like, "That's my house. That's exactly what I'm wanting." And so I had to come back by and this is a photo of when I told him, I said, "We

28:30 got to go look at this house." And so we pulled up in their driveway, turned sideways. Yeah. like real close to their driveway like to their front door. I'm like, I hope they're not, you know, we're just here to take pictures because this is the house I want. So, thank you for taking care of it. I didn't want that to happen because they don't they may not understand. But anyway, after all these years, it's like God showed me here it is, you know, here it is. Amen. Thank you, guys. So, happy Father's Day, happy birthday. And if that wasn't enough, they're also going this week, they already have their anniversary, but they're also going out this week to celebrate their anniversary slash birthday slash everything that's happening here. So,

29:17 so if you'd like to bless them with some extra cash to go and have some extra fun when they go out, you can do that. The information for that's on the screen as well. So, go ahead and do that. I also have uh cards for you at my seat, but I totally forgot to bring them up here. So, so we're going to be gone all week. We're going to be gone all week. So, uh, when you call, call 931-2104405. Yes, we are. And the church the church phone will be left with someone this. I mentioned that this is going to be an anniversary getaway, right? Yes. Don't try calling. Just don't. Okay. Or message. You can call church for anything you need, though. If you need something, call the church. Pray about it. You know, just let the Lord lead

30:02 you. All right. Use that Holy Spirit that you've been been taught about. And you know, he can lead you and guide you. Okay. Amen. I just admired my picture. I know it is, right? Thank you. Praise the Lord. Well, thank you guys so much. We're uh you know, it's Pastor Far, I don't think she knew about her house picture. Did you know about the house picture? Yeah. Good. So, good. So, funny thing is everything the church orders comes through emails. So, I have access to every email. So, I was scrolling through the emails and I went, "Oo."

30:48 So, that was not a surprise. But I said, "Let's surprise Pastor Farah because you came to me and mentioned it." I said, "Well, don't you put it in our email." You can't surprise anyone if you put it in their email. Even though it probably could surprise me eventually because I've got like th some of you your face would itch because I think there's 13,650 emails unopened in my email. I was just looking for reactions. Yeah. So Rebecca, she just every time she sees my email, she goes, "Oh my god." So yeah, I think it's f I think it's funny.

31:33 So I open the ones that are, you know, you can tell if you need it or not. If you don't need it, you just, you know, just scroll on, right? Is everybody okay? Well, happy Father's Day. Yeah, absolutely. I I hope you guys have an amazing day uh with your family and you get to see some of your family. Uh it's always a blessing to be around family. You're around family now. Uh, I have been honored. You know, the Bible says you have many teachers, but you don't have what many fer very few fathers. And I'm honored to say that I've had some spiritual fathers in my life. And grateful for those men. Some men uh that I had the opportunity to spend some time with that I considered already becoming a great leader in my life and a mentor in my life that I think would have been a great help. Some

32:19 of those men have went on to be with the Lord. But, you know, we honor spiritual fathers in our life. Thank all five of you. I said we honor spiritual fathers. So many of you, many of you have been raised uh you've had good leaders in your life, good spiritual fathers. And there's nothing like having somebody in your life to help you. Amen. And uh Sam could have continued her message or the Holy Spirit could have continued his message would have been a better way to say it. Uh it's good to serve with people. Could you turn me up a little bit so I don't feel like I'm going to have to yell because I really want to yell. So, can you hear me? Yeah. Because I I don't I can't hear myself because you guys are the See, when I'm here, the sound's there. So, it sounds not so loud here. So, is it okay? Okay, good. Um, so

33:08 you don't have to turn me up then. It's okay. They said, "I'm back here. You You can just come here and stand by me. You'll see what I'm talking about. You just can't. It's like a It's like a Yeah, it's like a like a pocket. Like a not a hot pocket either. It's like a cold pocket. I was going somewhere. Oh, yeah. Goodness of God. So, uh it's good to work with people who uh flow in the Holy Spirit. Yeah. Because she just jumped right in the in the message. The Holy Ghost obviously led her. And uh I love to set my pastor Pharaoh because she'll bump me

33:53 when Sam's taking up offering. And so this morning I leaned over and I said, "Did you send her my notes?" She said, "No, she listens." I'm gonna ask Rebecca, "Did you send her my notes?" Well, the Holy Ghost is moving today, so you should be excited. Amen. Because this word is for you. I was praying uh obviously to about this morning, believe it or not. Yeah. I prayed through this situation and I felt like God said to me, I heard Nancy Defrain say something uh on and some of you have already heard this message, but she said Ed Defrain said many years ago he was

34:39 traveling doing mission work and he said the Lord spoke to him. I believe he was in Peru. He said, uh, 97% of my children don't operate in what I promised them or my goodness. They never see me for my goodness or what I can give them. So, I want to talk about the goodness of God, the goodness of God. Hallelujah. uh this morning. Uh Psalms 84:11. If you want to go there, if you don't want to go there, just go somewhere else. Turn, flip over to any any place you wish to read and just begin to read. It's all good.

35:24 Look at your say, "It's all good." All scripture is good. Amen. It's good for you. Good to eat. It'll help you. Amen. Help you grow. Amen. You know, I was praying. I I' made so many Facebook posts and there were so many Facebook posts, Father's Day and so on so forth. But yesterday, I started working on a another post. Uh the Lord said, "A believer can have Barabus or Jesus. It's their choice. We can actually have whatever we want. Choose you this day." Somebody say, "Amen." Amen. Who you'll serve. As for me, in my house, we what? Will serve the Lord. It's choice, you know, and and believers can have whatever they choose for or what they

36:10 want. So, I want to talk to you this morning. I want to start in Psalms 84:11. We'll keep going, see how far we go. I've got a lot of scriptures to add, of course, and I told you not to put all those notes in because, you know, it's just a waste of your time. So, uh, for the Lord is for the Lord God is a son and shield. The Lord bestows present grace. Thank God for that. You should be happy over that that God's grace is present right now in your life. If it had not been for the grace of God or the empowerment of God, you wouldn't be where you are. It's the goodness of God. I said it's the goodness of God. And favor and future glory. Amen. Honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss. No

37:00 good thing If it comes from God, it's good. I said, if it comes from God, it's good. God's a good God. A lot of people would say that. A lot of people say, you know, I'd ask, you know, you think God's a good God. They'd say, yeah, God's a good God. But do you realize he's better than just good? Sam said it. He's better than just good. Matter of fact, if you knew everything there was to know that you know and everybody in this room knows about how good God is, he's better than that. God's better than that. You know, and when Oral Roberts said something good is going to happen to you today, there were people from around the world

37:45 that got upset at him about him saying something good's going to happen. How many of you believe God's a good God? How many of you believe God's a good God? He's a good God. He is. He's good. And he wants to show you his goodness. Matter of fact, can I go a little bit further? He wants you to show his goodness. Matter of fact, he tells us uh uh a short story. I'll give you a short story and I'll tell you what God said. Uh a short story about Dr. Seville. Uh I didn't know this about Dr. Seville. And you may have known this, but I was uh meeting with a gentleman. It does sound better when you get out in here. Back here, it does not sound as good. Sounds better out here. Oh, thank you.

38:32 And a special happy Father's Day to you. He's my friend. Mike's my friend. The goodness of God though. And Dr. Seville. Uh, you know, I just, you know, you you just some people, uh, Brother Moore said, Brother Moore said of Dr. He said, "Dr., he just flies below the radar." Y'all don't know what I'm talking about, do you? Yeah. He just, you know, there would be all kinds of things going on in the world, a word of faith world, and people complaining about ministries and running down ministry. There'd be videos about men and how much they was hating people. Brother Seville, he just grew

39:18 he stayed below the waves and he just just really you wouldn't even know anybody didn't like him. If you ever around Dr. you'd realize he was likable, very likable man. Uh we were eating cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory and he told me to order carrot cake and I thought, well, I'm going to follow his instruction. Doesn't make sense, but I'm going to try it. He said, he said, "I want you to put it in the microwave for about 8 seconds. Tell the waitress, put it in the microwave for about 8 seconds and bring it out to you." So they handed me the plate. I had the plate. He said, "Oh, hold on a minute. Hold on, Bishop." Boom. And he just stabs my cake, gets a big bite. He said, "Yeah, that's going to be fine."

40:06 So he was a likable I mean he was just a likable man but he just he just went along. But when I met some of the people that's been around him said bishop you wouldn't believe what how good he is and they said they said actually about Dr. Seville they said that there's been so many people try to hurt him. There would be people try to take stuff from his ministry try to get his property try to sue him try to remove stuff from him. And he said one time he asked me to come by and pick up a check and take it to this one family, this one ministry. Asked me to come by and take it over to him. And he said, I was like, Dr. Sevel, don't you know what they've done? And he said, I'm not sewing just into them. I'm sewing into my heart.

40:57 Do good to those Now, I'm I want to help you. I'm going to help you because our nation seems to be in turmoil this morning and we we no longer honor and we're always divisive. But it's the goodness of God. It's the goodness of God that leads what? Men to repentance. If we could walk in the goodness of God, even when people treat us bad, we could still Y'all ain't saying much. I tell you're mad at some people. Look at some people like this. say, "I'm mad." I'm not saying mad. I'm not, you know, you want to you want to you you want to respond, but God doesn't God

41:43 doesn't want us to live out of a response. He wants us to live out of goodness. Good God. For God so what? Loved the world that he gave. God's a good God. Amen. He's a good God. He He loves us. He cares for us. Not only that, but no good thing. I I I had a thousand views yesterday for a Cadillac Escalade V. Nobody commented much and and and I can't read all the names, which tells me it went viral. Viral. I don't know if it went viral for hate or viral for for happiness, but either way, God's a good God. No good thing.

42:29 I said, "No good thing." Well, what kind of things you want? Well, what whatsoever things you desire? Well, how many of you would say of your family if they were good family, not not bad family? Well, y'all ain't saying much. Good children. Good children. How many of you would say, "I'll give all I can." Y'all ain't saying much. Come on. Is this a this the right church? How many of you would give all you could give to your children? And you don't even know how to treat your children compared to how good God is. As good as you are,

43:16 as good as you want to be, I'm gonna say it. God's goodter. That's it. I said, "God's God's better than that. God's better than that for you, God." But look, there's some stipulations you need to get in this moment this morning. Because he didn't stop there. He didn't stop at no good thing. He said, "No good thing will he withhold from those who." So he he parametered or he he put a an emphasis on the who. So we need to figure out what who is and how who gets what his goodness and no good thing because there's a lot

44:02 of people praying for a lot of good things. Y'all say anything? A lot of folks wanting good things to happen in life. Oh, I need some good things to happen, God. Well, here's a stipulation this morning. Are you ready? That's right. Walk uprightly. Y'all ain't shouting now. I said a minute ago, God was good. He's a good God and he won't withhold anything good from you. But here's the stipulation. You got to walk upright. That word uprightly is really an integrous word or it has integrity tied to it or honor tied to it. So if you what? Walk in integrity.

44:49 If you keep your word, if you do what the word says. Come on, somebody. Come on. If you're a good friend, what did Jesus do? Acts 10:38. You don't have it, but put it up for them so they can read it. Jesus went about how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth. Who what? Went about doing. Come on, somebody. Be a doer. I'm a doer. I'm a doer of Y'all ain't doing nothing this morning. Get your hand up. Hold your hand like this. Get your hand up like this. Get this hand. Say, I'm a doer. I'm a doer. I'm a doer of the word of God. Oh, of God. I forgot. Okay. I'm a doer. I'm a doer. I'm a doer of the word of God.

45:37 you know of Jesus of Nazareth, how how how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power and how he went about doing good. You can't continue to do bad and think you're going to get good. No matter how good God is, there's parameters to his goodness. Can I get anybody's witness right here? Can I Am I helping anybody so far? Because a lot of you are like, "Man, I need God to do something in my life. I need some more goodness in my life." But he said, "Here's are some parameters." He said, "We need you to go about doing good. We need you to walk uprightly." So, let's let's dig into that word uprightly

46:22 just a little bit. Just a little bit this morning. That'll help us because this will help us walk into what? His goodness. I love the way the message translation says this for all the really religious people out there. Let me read it. All sunshine. All sunshine and sovereign is God. God's all sunshine. There's no darkness in him. No, God's not a little bit dark. Some of you are like, "Well, maybe it's God's will that I got this sickness." No, that's not God's will. That's a lie. I got a list of truths I'm going to mash right in the mouth this morning. At the end of this service, we're going to kill a bunch of religion. And some of you are

47:08 going to leave here happy because now you know the truth. God's not putting sickness on you to teach you. He's putting goodness on you to teach you. I said God's not putting sickness on you to teach you. He's putting goodness on you. Yeah. The Bible said it's the what? The goodness of God that leads you. Into repentance. The goodness of God leads us. Surely, I'm quoting scripture. Surely goodness and mercy. Y'all ain't saying much. Surely goodness

47:54 and mercy shall what? Follow me all the days of my life. Everywhere I go, goodness and mercy and goodness. Somebody ought to be shouting, "And mercy and goodness are going to follow me everywhere I go." Hallelujah. Well, God's just trying to teach me something. Well, he'll be good to you to teach you. Well, you never know what God's going to do. Yeah, you do. If you read his word, you know what he's going to do. It's in the book. It's not a mystery. And it's going to be good.

48:39 I said it's going to be good. I promise if it's from God, it'll be good. If it's from the devil, it'll be bad. He's a bad devil and a good God. This is pretty easy, right? So quit quit trying to blame God for bad things. The church is really bad, really really hard on God. They're trying to put God in the category that he never gave. Sin probably caused it. Uh the fallen world probably caused it. Your lack of uprightness may have caused it. Your lack of integrity. God, I'm going to do this if you'll get me out of this, you know, this selling these Buicks on

49:25 this hard night of long drinking here at this porcelain throne. Y'all don't know that story. I don't guess. God, if you'll get me out of this, I'll never do it again. [Music] But here you are doing it again. So, you didn't keep your word. You didn't stick to what you said. Therefore, what goodness can't get in your life because you're not walking in integrity. Integrity is key to God's goodness. Matter of fact, he unlocks more goodness if you're walking in what he's told you to walk in and you're what? Hearing the word and receiving the word and you're walking in the word. Come on. The word's

50:12 becoming a part of your life. It's becoming engrafted into you and you're what? listening, doing, being a doer. Guess what? He'll give you more. It's like, it's like uh I love what Dr. Leroy Thompson said the other day. He said, he said, "Sowing, sowing is the uh catalyst for increase and the and the and the thing that God uses to judge whether or not he wants to increase it. It works for increase in your life. But also at the same time, if he can't trust you, [Music] yeah. Yeah. Be faithful over little, God

51:00 give you what? Increase. In other words, if you stick to you walk uprightly, do what God told you to do, guess what? Increase is coming naturally. It's coming in your life. So uprightly that word uh means in the Greek uh I'm sorry in the Hebrew it means uh truth. So what did I say 2025 was? You thought I left my message out right? No. The warning that God gave me for the year he said no this year is 2025 is going to be year of what? Empowerment and freedom are what? grace and truth. So, two things that can guard you or move you into more goodness. One of them is

51:46 learning how to walk uprightly in integrity. Uh, sincerely, undefiled. Come on, somebody. Upright, without spot, entire, sound, complete, whole, healthful, unimpaired. What is complete, this is a definition, a working definition. What is complete are entirely in accord with truth. with truth. So um God works out of this same flow. He works out of this same flow. So what what am I saying? Well, he said this of

52:32 himself. Uh he said this he said um God is what? Love. So his first motive is what? Goodness. Now I'm not saying God doesn't judge or God. But if you want more goodness, he already gave you his son and he said I have more to give you past that. But how many of you know you got to receive that first unless unless a man be born again, he cannot what? In inherit or what? See more goodness. Hallelujah. So we got to start there. Confess Jesus Christ our Lord. What? Accept him, right? Accept him. Make him Lord of our life. Lord means that now we're walking by faith in him. Let me show you that scripture. You need that

53:19 scripture, too. I'll go back to the upright. Let me show you that scripture. Let's go to James 1 where Pastor Pharaoh started their ministry. James chapter 1 verse 17. Every good gift, every perfect gift is from above. It comes down from the father of all that gives light in the shining of whom there can be no variation, no rising or setting or shadow cast by turning as in a eclipse. There is no darkness in him. Everywhere God is, there's light. So, so we have to understand that God is good. We have to get it in our spirits.

54:05 Go to Hebrews 11:6. Hebrews 11:6, "And without faith, it's impossible to please him. For the one who comes to God must believe that he exists." Now, many of you, I want everybody's attention. I want you to look at me directly at me right now in this moment. Everybody in this room, look up here. Every one of you agree he exists. Amen. But you don't believe this next part. This come this comes with believing that he exists. Many people the message the very thing that Christ stood up and preached and said the first time he spoke inside of that audience. Now I ain't going to say it's the first time he spoke because that wouldn't be true. It was actually

54:51 his custom to be there. He probably read there on common. He probably read there many times. But this day when he read he said today this scriptures fulfilled in your hearing. The first thing he said was, "I've come to preach the gospel to the poor." The gospel, the good news. Somebody say, "Good news." That's good news. And then the Bible said he what? Sat down. When he sat down, he sat in the police uh the place reserved for the Messiah. Now, don't you know that ticked him off? And they're like, "Oh, we're going to take him and throw him off the brow of the hill." Did he just pass through the middle of them like nothing was going on?

55:36 Yeah. Praise the Lord. But in that day, he stood up and he said, "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me because he's anointed me to what? Preach the gospel to the poor." The good news. The good news. Somebody say good news. Good news. That's good news. Now, he said this to God must believe that he exists. We all agree on that, right? Even even most uh you know most people if you really get them set down they're going to eventually come around and just say yeah something out there is bigger than me. Don't know what it is. Don't know who it is but obviously something and you know unless you're from Dayton Tennessee then you think a big big bang explosion happened. But anyway y'all are quiet.

56:21 That's where that monkey trials happened in Dayton. Did y'all know that? Y'all didn't know that. Go down to Dayton, go through the courthouse, and read all the stuff. It's pretty interesting. I thought you couldn't have a better place to have the courthouse, but anyway. And you've never been to Dayton? I still can tell. So, and that he what? Proves to be one who what? rewards those who seek him. Give me another translation. See if I can make it any clearer. But without faith, it's impossible to

57:06 please and be satisfactory to him. Right? For whoever would come near to God must must necessarily believe that he exists and that he is what? a rewarder or the rewarder of those who what? Earnestly and diligently seek him out. Give us one more. Believe it's the NLT. And it's impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that what he rewards. Somebody say rewards. Rewards. Somebody say God's good. God's good. Say this with me. Something good something good

57:52 is going to happen to me today. Why? Because God's good. God just don't get you to heaven. He He said John 10:10. Christ said, right? He said the thief comes what? To steal, kill, and destroy. But I have come that they might have life. I was talking to a man the other day. He said, "Well, I'm happy to have life." I said, "I'm not. He said, "What do you mean?" I said, "I want a more abundant life." See, I can tell I broke some religious cows off y'all right then. Some of y'all went, "Move." Well, you know, God just He just treats us good. We just got I'm just happy to

58:37 be alive. Well, I'm not. No. I I If you're not walking in the abundant life, you're not in the life that Christ paid for. If I can't convince you that God's better to you than you've been to yourself, he wants to be better to you. He wants to do, come on, he wants to do something amazing in your life. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Don't be complacent. What you got there, Tiny? gnarly man. But without faith, it is impossible to please God, to come to God. Two things

59:24 are necessary. I got that over here wrote down. I'll get to that in a minute. First, to believe that what? He exists. And second, that he rewards those who try to find him. Got to have both parts working. It's not enough for you to sit here and believe that there's a God. You got to believe that he wants to reward you, that he wants to be good to you, that he wants to bless you. I love what Brother Moore said. He said, "I never thought it'd be so hard to talk people into thinking God wanted to be good to them.

1:00:13 And yet here we are trying to convince you today because you've believed a lie and you're living in a lie and you're okay with the lie. Why? Because you're not. You're accepting the lie. That's why I responded. No, I'm not. I used to say I was happy. I used to say, "I'm just glad to be alive." That's like entry level into humanity, right? You're sucking air. Well, praise God. I've said that before. I'm glad to be sucking air. I've said that. Y'all ever said that? Y'all saying anything? Of course, we're glad to be alive. Amen. God's got more for you. If I can't get you to start believing that he is what? A rewarder

1:01:00 of those who seek him. Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven. And what? Some of these things. three or four of these things. 10 or 11 things. Give me a house on the white pig fence, two dogs and a wife. I'll be happy. No. You're selfish. I said you're selfish. Well, I'm satisfied. Well, you're satisfied because you got what you wanted. Now, why don't you be a supply for somebody? You you I'm going to talk about supply. you know, we got a we got an apostolic prophetic mantle in this house uh that goes to to nations and ministers. If she loved America, I'd just give her the

1:01:46 church, but she you know, I'm not saying she don't love America, but let me say that a different way. She if she if she really liked the American church, not this church. She loves this church, but she's called there. And you call her mom or whatever you want to. In my opinion, there's an apostolic prophetic voice that's carrying a mantle for nations in this house. And uh we should we should right we should not only think about but she brings a supply to a nation. That's right. Her family have a good life and it'll get goodter. Somebody say goodter. See, I'm already praying for the farm.

1:02:32 We're believing for house. She's bleeding for a farm. I just want to go buy get eggs, stuff, chickens, you know, whatever. But my point's this. When you get what you want, now it's time for God to give you something somebody else needs. Hallelujah. We got to get this selfish mentality out of the body of Christ where once we get somewhere and we become complacent, now we're happy, we're okay. No. God's got more. God's got more. He wants to bring a a greater supply to your life. Come on. He wants to get you. Well, if I just had a car, well, I'd be thankful with a car, but really, I want a purple 2025 CVO 121 horsepower purple passion motorcycle.

1:03:21 Well, that's a good start. Somebody said, "How many you want?" I said, "Well, I want one for every day of the week and then one for special occasions." And there's a lot of special occasions. Special occasions, they just keep coming, right? So, somebody somebody needs to know this morning, God's better to you than what you've been thinking he is, and he wants to give you more. Amen. So, the revelation that come out of Hebrews 11:6 is that he is right. He's real. He exists. He's what? Present. And the next one is

1:04:07 he rewards. God responds. He's not distant or passive. He blesses those who go after him. Say that with me. God blesses God blesses those those who go after who go after him him exceedingly abundantly above all that you even ask or think for or think about you before you even thought about it God said I got it before it ever come to your imagination

1:04:52 or your thoughts. God said, "I got it." Now, if you settle, you're going to stay where you are because you believe God exists, but he's really not in operation in your life. He's not going to reward you. He just gave your life. You're just sucking air and you're just going to die. I was in a church recently. I went in. I sat down. I thought, "This whole church body is sitting here waiting to die." You ever been in a church like that? Yeah. I mean, like they're preaching the word, but they don't believe the word, they're actually hoping that something better past here is going to happen. Can I help you? If it's not happening to you now, if you don't know him now, if you're not seeing him now for who he is, you not you may not wind up where he is.

1:05:44 Y'all missed that. I don't know if that's You got to know him. And I know he's good. He said if a if a child askked you for a what? A fish. You ain't going to give him a snake. Give me a fish. You throw a copper head in there. Here, take a snake instead. That's That's the way some of you look at God. You're like, well, you know, whatever will be will be. No. Whatever happens happen. You never know who you serving. God knows. His word knows. Holy Spirit knows. And a child of God knows. Surely goodness and mercy.

1:06:29 Going to follow me. You wake up tomorrow, guess what? They're waiting on you. Come on. We're getting ready to go. Who's going with me? Goodness. Who else? Mercy. Now, how many of you know I'm glad he sent that with me? Oh, y'all don't really know me like I know me, but I'm glad he came and sent mercy. Amen. So, some of you are like, I got it. Goodness and mercy, what going to follow me? What else does it say? His favor is going to surround me like a shield. So, if you don't wake up in great expectation of the good things God's about to do in your life tomorrow, come on. If you don't wake up and think God is going to do something good today, look, I know other people don't believe

1:07:16 that way, and that's okay. You can stay where you are. I like another thing Brother Moore said. I like this. He said, "Well, you know, if you don't believe in healing, you don't have to be troubled with it. You stay sick. You don't have to be troubled with health. You You don't believe in long life, you live a short one. Right? You don't believe in joy, you can be mad. Somebody asked me the other day, "You think a Christian can have any uh you think a Christian can be possessed?" But I'm not going to teach that today, okay? But I'm going to say this. I believe you can have whatever you believe for. Now, I don't believe your spirit, if

1:08:02 you're filled with the Holy Ghost, your spirit can be possessed. But I believe if you believe something, you could have it in your flesh or your soul, your mind, your will, or your emotions. Oppressed maybe for sure. Well, I don't believe God could take care of that for me. Well, what are you talking about? With God, all Well, then why are you settling? No, I mean really, why are you settling? You just quoted scripture. You know it. With God, all things are possible to him that believes. All things are possible with God. This this scripture we quote whatever he says, you just do it. And then you know if you do it, it's going

1:08:47 to happen, right? Well, that's the problem. He's telling you, do it and you ain't doing it. The water don't get in the in the tub unless you carry it over and get water in it and let it come back over there and let and dip it out and turn it into wine. Y'all ain't saying much. 30% off Father's Day sale. Praise the Lord. Write this down. I'm going to give you time to get prepared. Get your phone out, type it,

1:09:34 write it, do something. You cannot come to God doubting his reality or his goodness. That cancels faith. Faith is the access key to good and more good. Did I did I read too fast? You can't come to God

1:10:20 doubting his reality or his goodness. That cancels faith. Faith is the access key to goodness and more. Somebody say more. But the access faith is what? Without faith, it's impossible to please God. In other words, listen to me. Listen to me. Here we are. Without faith, it's impossible to please God. Him that comes God must believe that he is or he exists. that he he is, but not only that, but that he's a what? Rewarder.

1:11:07 Praise God. God's going to uh hopefully give some of you the revelation where you've been at is not all he has for you and he wants more. Amen. This You ever heard anybody say when I was raised in church, they people say all the time, "Well, just get me a little shack over in heaven." They don't have shacks in heaven. Huh? Are you okay? Am I done? It's 11:32. Are you okay? Can I Can I talk a little more? Yes, sir. Am I helping you? Yes. Give me just a shack in the corner of heaven. I heard that all my life. I just, you know, if I just make it by the skin of my teeth, if I just get in,

1:11:52 give me a little shack. He Jesus didn't say there were shacks. He said, "In my father's house, there are many mansions." Not shacks. Somebody say this with me. Not shacks. Not shacks. Mansions. Mansions. What kind of house did the father build for somebody in heaven? Mansion's not a house. It's a mansion. It's bigger than a house. I said, "It's better than a house." This church, I believe someday we're going to get plumb over into faith where we're going to be like, "Yes, God. I believe you for more.

1:12:39 More health, more healing, more money, more blessing. Come on, somebody. More. More." Wh Why would we want more? I I want to see more in my life and ministry so we can what? Do more. See, here's the thing. You can you can argue with me, well, you know what? You don't deserve more. This church give away about 28% every year. We've increased the percentage that we give away. So, we give away a lot. Matter of fact, when we go to the meetings, the first thing that the people address in the financial advisor board is how much we gave because they know if we didn't give enough, I'm not going to be happy. They don't tell me what we have in the bank. I don't care what we have in the bank. Only thing I care about is if did

1:13:25 we give. We have to get in our hearts that God wants to do more for us. Why? So we can give more. You're so selfish. You don't see your father as good. Father is a God is a good good God. And the devil's a bad bad devil. God's good. Say that with me. Say, "God's good." God's good. So, let's read a little more. Faith doesn't just believe God exists. It it it expects.

1:14:13 I said faith expects. Say that with me. Only way I'm going to get you to really cooperate with me today is get you to talk. I can tell. So, say this with me. Faith expects. Faith expects. Some of you may making the grocery list out. Stop making out your grocery list and say this with me. Say, "Faith." Faith expects. Yes. This right now, this moment in our nation is a time when the goodness of God or go about doing good or instead of always trying to respond from a place of emotion or anger or bitterness or or Democrat and Republican or whatever. Let's let's get from a place of goodness.

1:14:59 I don't you know if Christianity or the church of America could have shown how good God was, everybody be in here. I said this the other day preaching in front of Planned Parenthood with the you could see the Planned Parenthood building behind me with the with the insignia of Planned Parenthood and I preached in front of Planned Parenthood and I said I'm not here to preach to the children that were murdered. They're not here. And I'm not here to preach to the people that are murdering babies. They're not

1:15:44 here. You are. those group of people. I said, "And the reason why our voice is not louder is because listen, we're not willing to die. They died." Or we're murdered, however you want to say it. And the church is called to die. Said my decibels are too loud. They died. And I said, "And the church won't die. Take up your cross and die daily."

1:16:36 And I said, if we were willing to die to our will, our emotions, and our plan, God could trust us with a greater level of voice. Um, let me uh let me find this section because I feel like in this season somebody needs to speak. The spirit of the Lord's telling me we need to speak about overcoming evil with good.

1:17:21 The word does not tell us to overcome evil with more anger, offense, or revenge. It says to overcome evil with good. Now, um that's not easy. Amen. But it's possible. That's why I told you a story about Dr. Seville. That man said, "What are you doing? I don't understand. Why are you writing a check? Don't you know they're trying to hurt you?" Why? because I'm going to overcome this evil with good. Instead of showing evil for evil, I'm going to show what goodness. Church needs to show what goodness. I'm not talking about we don't have a stance on issues. And I'm not talking about we obviously I preached in front of Planned Parenthood when about every pastor in town's already turned this man down to

1:18:07 come preach. I said I'll preach anytime. Sure. And and and pastor Fre tell you while I was preaching I started to say Moses and the Lord said Lord said it wasn't Moses it was Abraham. And I said the Lord just corrected me. I said y'all ever been corrected? And about nine people said right now. I said well good. I'm glad you guys are getting corrected cuz we can't help those people. You're the church. Amen. Amen. So we overcome evil it with with with good. It says overcome evil with good. That don't mean I fight darkness by by becoming bitter. I become brighter.

1:18:56 I said I don't become bitter, I become brighter. I don't fight lies by arguing. I speak truth in love. Amen. We got to have some people who what? Speak truth in love. And you know, I'm learning how to walk in love more and more every day. I'm trying to, you know, God's working on me. Aren't you glad? Pastor Farah's glad. Aren't you glad? Knock knock. Orange. Aren't you glad? It is possible. Somebody say it's possible. God can work on you. What? We start walking in his goodness, his grace, his mercy. Goodness and grace and mercy is

1:19:43 following us every day. We already use some of it. Every time you need it, just reach back in the bucket of grace. Say, "I'm going to need some of that going into this." Instead of having a fist full of anger, you got a fist full of grace. Come on. Reach down in that bag. Say, "Lord, I need some of that today." Come on. Reach down in that. Y'all ain't doing nothing. reach down in that bag and get a hold of some grace and pull that grace out and say, "Guess what? I'm about to whoop you upside the head with grace." Yeah. Squeeze. I'm going to wipe you upside the head with grace. Next person I see nodding. It's going to be fun. I'm going to whip you upside the head with grace.

1:20:31 the goodness of God, the grace of God, the mercy of God. We overcome what? Evil with good. The church has taken the wrong position on God's goodness or our ability to carry it. We actually have and possess the answer to every problem, every situation. We should be able to, you know, whether you believe it or not, money, the Bible says money answers all things. Don't get mad at me. I didn't write it. I didn't write the book. It's in the book. Look it up. Find it. Send it to Lita. Let her know where it's at so they can put it on the screen so everybody in the crowd can understand money answers. If you have a problem or if you had a city that had a problem or a county that

1:21:18 had a problem, if you could become the answer by having the answer in your hand, wouldn't that be better? You ever said, "I wish I could help." Well, if you had the answer in your hand, you could help. Amen. So, we got to start believing God's better than that to us where what I I I I uh here a while back when things were different. We got a little more money flowing through the church at the time. I said, "Call call the school and give me the number to pay off every behind lunch account." Oh, y'all ain't saying nothing. You think I'm up here for more suits? I've been preaching out of this jacket for 5 years now.

1:22:14 Pe people prepare a meal for enjoyment. Wine makes life joyful and money's answer to everything. That's uh Ecclesiastes 10:19. It it does answer. Money answers. I said money answers. Needs. The reason why I wanted more money is so I could go pay off Heritage's lunch. Every backdue, overdue lunch account that was in the place. What's the number? Come on. Why? Because it answers. Some families somewhere couldn't pay for their child's lunch, but the church could. Amen. And I'm not talking about, well, they should have worked or they should have done that. Shut up and be good.

1:23:00 There's a lot of times you should have, too, and didn't. Maybe if they saw somebody doing it, they'd think, "Well, I'd like to do that myself." Oh, it's getting quieter and quieter and quieter the more I speak. It's the goodness of God. It's the goodness of the church. The goodness, the goodness, the goodness. God wants to be goodter to you so you can be goodter to them. Well, that's good enough. No, it's not good enough. We're getting by. That's not good

1:23:46 enough. Getting by is not good enough. We need to be in a place of abundance and overflow with expectation to be the answer. Yes. For the community around us, the family around us, the world around us. We need to what? Be the answer. I guarantee you this morning, y'all say what you want to. And I'm not talking about win them with a hamburger and flip them with a hot dog. I ain't talking about that. But I'm just talking about if we was giving out $20 gift cards this morning. We run a big advertisement in the paper for $20 worth of gas down at the, you know, bo or whatever. I don't know. There'd be people here this morning. Yeah. Cause because they don't understand God. They just understand goodness.

1:24:34 All right. Jesus went about asking questions. Jesus went went about having people fill out uh questionnaires. Jesus went Jes Jesus went out I had folk around me one time said, you know, uh we we need to have a a a meeting with everybody that needs any help in this church. I said, if they meet with you, they won't never get nothing. Bishop. You said that. That's why they call me Bishop.

1:25:19 Don't call me pastor. That's pastor. She's so she can be. She's still Can I go a little longer? We're getting out of here by 12, so pay attention. I don't fight lies by arguing. I speak truth and love. I don't repay wrong with wrong. I show mercy because I receive mercy. The devil wants you reactive, but God calls you redemptive. Every time I respond in the wrong spirit

1:26:05 or the opposite spirit of God's flow, when I respond with love, generosity, integrity, or compassion, I'm not just avoiding evil. I'm conquering it. Come on. I'm conquering problems, issues, struggles, pain with good. Jesus went about doing good. Say that with me. God's good. Jesus was good. You are to be good. Say it like you from Tennessee. Say you are to. You are. It's one word. You are to Youought to be good. Not a You order.

1:26:54 Jesus went about doing good. God's a good God. He exists. And he promises to reward you if you seek him. Amen. Say, "Amen." Romans 12:21. Do not let yourself be what? Overcome by evil, but overcome master evil. The NPC says master evil with good. First Peter 3:9 because the world's trying to drag us into a fight right now. And I look, I don't remember

1:27:42 how many Pastor F could tell you, but I mean it was like 58 and two losses. 58 wins, two losses. Fighting was in my wheelhouse. I'm left-handed. I'm set up for it. It was always a bad day. And then I I didn't talk about it. A lot of people want to argue, you know, but I just made up my mind. I'm going to walk over and knock that person right out and this thing will be over. The easiest way to finish a fight is to start one before anybody else knows they're in one. Generally, I was smiling. And you can ask her, she's sitting here right now. I'd just be smiling from ear to ear and they'd just be have this confused look on their face and then they'd wake up

1:28:30 and we'd be gone. But that's not that's not what God wants us. The world's trying to drag us into a fight. They're trying to get us to respond. Yeah. Look, some of you right now, you probably been responding. And that's why I'm preaching what I'm preaching. Because God's a good God. Jesus went about doing God good. And that's what we're supposed to do. He went about doing God and good. But he he was good. Amen. So we got to do that. Me and you, the church, we got to start going about doing good. Good. Good. Why? Because God's good.

1:29:18 We must respond in faith. You don't fight darkness with more dark darkness. You drive it out with light. You can love when you've been wronged. You can forgive when it hurts. You can bless when they curse you and you can overcome and will overcome because the greater one lives in you. Hallelujah. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in this world. Goodness is a weapon. Amen. Goodness is a weapon. You know, if somebody could to show up over there with a real good answer,

1:30:04 it'd stop the war. Now, it'd have to be a real good one. Okay. It'd have to be a real good one, but goodness is the answer. You know, another time when things were going pretty good here, I I I was trying to get things planned out and then before you know it, things ain't going so good for a minute or two, you know, and then you got money and you don't.
