00 It's gotten worse. That regarding the VTuber company V Showjo last week announcing their closure after revelations being outed by one of their talents regarding significant funds unpaid and even possibly embezzlement of charity funds. Much of the initial criticism levied at the Gunrun CEO of Vojo, this once longtime Twitch.tv TV employee having his global emote removed from the platform alongside being removed as a moderator on the V Showjo subreddit. Former member of V Showjo Silvervvil responding to their account with, "How did you not know? How could you betray the people that trusted you the most and think anyone would believe this garbage? You ruined lives. I hope the money gets repaid, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. You're a disgrace and a disappointment." This all
46 while over the weekend more attention has been paid to their former CTO and CMO Motendu. Originally exiting the company back on May 14th and this time last week reacting to the revelations about Vojo simply with this tweet. N bro, what the absolute f at the gun. This tweet now being community noted saying this user was also included in many of Vojo's mismanagement issues and has been called out for harassing talents. This initial call out coming from former V Showjo member Vbe remarking, "Motendue got reprimanded for being creepy to us. Got told not to message us privately." Alongside, "I have proof from other streamers attending their IRL parties that Motend would actively s talk me after I left the company." Don't know why you're acting innocent on Twitter, pretending
32 you weren't aware of anything. Can't wait to see all the s that comes out about you because there's loads. But those aren't my stories to tell. This being backed up by another former V Showjo member, Natasha Yanners, saying, "Motendoo had the audacity to talk ass about you to my face at a party the year that we all left and painted you, that being vay, as some kind of conniving, greedy mean girl." Yanners later adding, "He is a creepy mother effer. There's a lot more obviously, but a lot of it is also not my story to tell." This has over the past week others have come forward remarking how this particular CMO and CTO of V Showjo at various convention parties would attempt to force partygoers either into drinking more and more or also attempting to have them use elicit drugs with him. Making
18 this particular tweet from October 17th of 2024 not age well in the eyes of many viewers. Reacting to VBay, we have Amalei also of V Showjo saying, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." Fruit replying, "WTF? It just keeps getting worse." As Shy Lily would respond to VBay saying, "What the f does one even say to all this? So driven by malice, greed, and ego. Absolutely disgusting." Well, next up we have the artist Lynn tweeting out, "Hi, I left in January for Blue Sky and I'm not coming back." But this is about Vojo and Mountain Dew specifically. I considered him my friend for years before he co-founded V Showjo and also worked for V Showjo as a merch/asset artist for most of their existence. I'm effing disgusted saying this is how he felt about himself. These are DMs from before V Showjo. Motton saying to this
04 artist if someone pisses me off, I'll do some Metal Gear Solid as like trickery and get like 10 people they follow to all make fake fan art of like the juice monster or something to see if we can bait them. Lynn also saying about Gun. He was very unprofessional and flaky to work with. Super late payments all the time. I designed the V Showjo 3D Chibi models then modeled by Seafoam Boy. I was asked not to use my style and instead to make it look like Wales, the artist who designed the small holo lives. Furlong good friend of the gun for over 20 years DJ Wheat would take to stream over the weekend explaining how Gun had approached him back in 2022 to be the COO of V Showjo. DJ Wheat very confused at the time as V Showjo already has a COO then finding that two
50 particular individuals within V Showjo but with high positions in DJ Wheat's view did not deserve their titles. This was right around when V Showjo like did their first major raise like this was hey we put the work in. We now can really build the agency that we want to build. There was a soft offer to join as V Showjo as COO and I was like, "Hey, what's this person do?" Like, why do you need a COO if you have a COO? I never really got a good answer. And so at one point there was a conversation with like Gun and me and these other two
37 individuals and I became like it became very clear to me that not only were these two individuals uh that were not Gun Run like not only were they not worthy of the titles that they held. I also got the indication that they didn't want to do jack and they just wanted to be able to tap into this money that has now been raised. It got to the point where I was like, I would never take this job unless something is done about these two individuals. Vojo also involved with the failed Vstream platform. Weevil here giving us a fun fact. Vojo was in talks with Vstream to establish a Twitter-like platform for VTubers before Vstream went
24 under. Richard here saying, "Only thing I'll say about V Showjo is that while they never withheld any payments from me personally, I went on to recommend other musician friends of mine to work for them as an apparently good company who were then apparently left unpaid feels gross." Vienna reacting to all of this, saying, "It's killing me to see how many people come up with this genius idea of using VTubers as an infinite money glitch. Realizing they have no clue what they're doing, then f off at maximum damage. We've seen this how many times now?" Shoto also weighing in. This and the situation with Copia Merch is the exact reason why so many creators are afraid to put their trust in these companies. Just letting your funds deplete further and further while not being transparent and truthful with your talents while pretending all is fine is the fastest way to lose any sort of good faith with anyone in the community. It's
10 disappointing and upsetting that your poor leadership led to Vojo failing as much as it did. None of my friends deserve this slap in the face from people they wanted to put their heart and trust into. F you. Next up, we have Addison stating alongside Leia that they got access to the recent V Showjo pitch deck. This being from when V Showjo this past year was looking for a buyer so that they could pay off their debts to their talents. Many finding this to be an odd retelling of history, claiming that Project Melody was the start of the Twitch VTuber hype wave in 2020. One particular member of this experienced executive team receiving quite a bit of attention that being the director of Vshojo Japan talent listed here as a former director at cover corp that being Hall alive and saying of him he was responsible for the success of Hallive
57 En Gen1. This individual actually stating to the otherwise, saying of his role at Cover Corporation, he first served as an adviser in the business planning at Cover Corporation, saying of this pitch deck that for some reason V Showjo's materials referred to me as the Gen One director, which is factually incorrect. speaking on the rumor that he was actually Omega, a much maligned manager formerly with Hollow En saying to this. This misinformation also led to confusion with Omega, a figure who was publicly disliked by some talents at the time. In reality, my role was to address the root of that issue and I was the one who led the effort to remove Omega. Bishojo remarking they were number one outside of Japan alongside having industrydefining contracts saying we
42 have the most desirable agency contracts compared to the top Japanese agencies leading to large established YouTubers graduating to debut with Vojo. You're showing moderate Khan and seemingly addressing their quote unquote poaching of Nijis Sanji English talents. Further remarking they have a talent first approach and further regarding IP licensing that there's untapped potential and their revenue projection is a significant contribution to 2025 revenue with higher take rates and an 8020 split for their talents. Saying also they plan to scale up their roster even more going from 12 to 30 to 40 talents. One slide being replaced here by Addison simply with these puppies and saying, "Oh nos, there were doxes of talent here." Disregarding the V Showjo Japan Nova Girls. V Showjo further
29 showing their forecast alongside a negative operating income as further quote unquote in business or attempting to be in business with Vojo in the past was our culture stating, "I just realized I was never under contract with Vojo, so I can say whatever I want." A while back, I took a step outside my comfort zone and began exploring my first official collaboration with the company. That company was Vojo, and I genuinely wanted to work with the incredible talents they represented. I spent several months and thousands of dollars of my own money developing ideas and even producing physical merch samples to pitch. One of the first major concepts I brought to them was a collaboration with Kan Kuro. I designed and produced a full render with our small team and even a real jacket based on his look. To my surprise and excitement, the V Showjo team really liked it. Meetings were progressing and
15 things seemed promising. That's when the real disappointment hit. Instead of pursuing a partnership, I was offered a buyout. They wanted to purchase my design and asked for my supplier info. It stung. I poured so much time, effort, and personal investment into this because I believed in the potential of a real collaboration, not just a transaction. But I was desperate not to let all my work go to waste. So, I reluctantly agreed. And then nothing came of it. Kuro here reacting. Wait, what? I don't even know what to say, but I've never been shown this by anyone. Even though I had asked many times if it was possible to get a jacket made, but there was never any update to me, so I assumed it's impossible. All the while, next we also have Camila echoing a very similar story just days prior shared by Buff Pup regarding another Vichon member that being Rose Doodle and their long
02 audition process originally with Vojo. Camila here saying, "I want to start by saying that the severity of my experience isn't the same as what others went through with Gun. Just wanted to share this tidbit because it affected a lot of my friends, including me. In 2022, I applied for V Showjo. Vojo at the time prefaced that they were looking specifically for smaller streamers. I thought I'd give it a chance because I was very small at the time. I auditioned. I passed. I received an email saying that I would be moving to the next stage as well as some of my friends." Camila later saying I made it to round three. I was so so happy. I know I wasn't fully accepted yet, but it was still a nice feeling. So, I waited. I waited a few days for the next step. A few days turned into weeks. A few weeks turned into a few months. Nothing. I would frantically check my email almost every single day waiting for something. A year later, I started growing as a
48 streamer. I met so many other VTubers and I learned a lot by being around them. One day, I was chatting with a bigger VTuber and eventually the topic of V Showjo came up. They told me they auditioned the same time I did. She made it to the final round, but they rejected her and the finalist last minute to hire someone they already knew. And these VTubers were given hush money not to tell anyone about it. The girls were devastated just like the rest of us who got dropped without warning. You have no idea how many times your talents called me in tears, suffering due to your neglect and the way you constantly mistreated them. They weren't getting paid. They weren't getting responses from you for over 6 months and other hearts shattering moments I can't share yet. And with that being said, I dedicate this to you. Camila making a full 4-minute song entitled Dear Gun Run. While Bri would reply, I was one of these people given hush money. I was told I made it to the final round and
35 would be contacted with the next steps in a week. And then that turned to weeks and months. Several months later, coincidentally mid donathon. Gun personally emailed me and said, "Ah, s sorry, never mind. Take 500 bucks, I guess. Have fun being indie." PF responded Camila with they fumbled so hard it's crazy. Pia alongside Barry and Tori, three members originally set up to be a part of a new generation with V Showjo this past weekend collabing together and saying thank you for supporting us. This is just the start and the climb is still long and hard but we won't give up. Also as part of another generation that was in the works with V Showjo here is Mint Phantom saying me after this week giving us the words I'm done crying I don't have any more tears to shed. Mint now also previewing a new outfit debut that's set for August of 2025, remarking, "Sorry
21 for no concrete date, but I'll update you all as soon as it's set." Maze of England also letting us know the Moa mansion is being haunted. This time at the UK's only VTuber ccentric event, Vexo. We will be hosting a very special collaboration cafe with Mint Phantom to welcome you home. More information announced soon. All the while, now we're back with Iron Mouse. her Tiltify project now up to $1.3 million. Mouse over the weekend saying, "It never ceases to amaze me just how wonderful you all are. Thank you all so much for your kindness and everyone who has donated or shared the link. The announcement hit me like a ton of bricks, but I am quickly reminded that we are turning this into something good." And moving on, numerous YouTubers over the weekend raising even more for this Piltify charity push. Y Albat here raising $150. Rat Queen Alicia with over
07 $2,400. And here remarking, "After this weekend, we raised $12,38.35 so far for the immune deficiency foundation." Further along, we have this announcement from Gloomy Bear, remarking, "Starting today, all Gloomy Bear Cross Iron Mouse collaboration items sold on the Gloomy Bear store will have profits from the sale donated to the immune deficiency fund. We'll be making donations every month on the 15th until all items have been sold out." Working with Miss Iron Mouse on the project was a pleasure and we hope for her continued success. Taito teaming up with Iron Mouse and Quesan for two different figures sending out this response remarking, "Due to the withdrawal of Iron Mouse and Quesan from V Showjo, we regret to inform you that we have decided to temporarily suspend the acceptance of pre-orders for this product. We will provide further updates on our official website and other
53 channels once final details of the release have been determined. Plus, we have the upcoming Pixel Expo event for September, remarking about Iron Mouse. Due to recent developments, we understand that you may have questions about Iron Mouse's digital appearance at Pixel Expo. We are currently working with her team regarding her attendance. Once we have more details, we will be able to update everyone with any additional information. In our continued support of Iron Mouse, the Pixel Expo team will be expanding our charity efforts to include immune deficiency foundation and hope our community will join us in supporting this charity. Mouse here saying, "The music box of fate music video is up on my channel. I hope you guys like it. We all work so hard on this. Thank you very much for those watching." and later saying, "Thank you so much to everyone who worked so hard on this song and on the video. My brain is running on empty at the moment. I am going through a very difficult time right now, but this music
38 video release was a ray of sunshine in the stormy period. Donate plasma." Mouse going on to tease her upcoming anniversary here with this headsh shot and the date of August 4th. All the while further, we have Kesan remarking that in the talent discord, Vojo has said to them they will be declaring bankruptcy. Quesan saying, "I was speechless when various information came out. Seems that lying to the talents had been a normal thing for the company for a long time. I understand that the reason they were saying such nice things to me or rather to the JP side until recently was because they didn't complain much and just wanted me to stay and become a source of further cash." Quesan further adding, "I only found out about the details of the unpaid money 2 weeks ago and only realized the company was a dark company a week ago. When I
24 found out about this dark side and investigated, I found out the payments hadn't been made since September of last year. Also, formerly a V Showjo Amaly here saying, "It's come to my attention that there are some artists who have not been paid for projects they worked on for me through Vojo. If I hadn't yet contacted you, please reach out to me." Centraa, formerly also of V Showjo, saying, "I miss when everything was simpler." Adding, "I like how I tell myself the next year is going to be better. I've told myself that each year and they keep getting worse. So, next year is going to suck. Crossing fingers emoji then teasing this look and saying, "Hell yeah." While Henya would remark, "Thank you guys so much for a lot. I was keep crying for past few days, but I had a great time on my stream. Thank you guys for a lot and everything." Dio Khan saying, "The last few years of my life is nothing a lifetime of therapy won't
11 solve." And after sharing her experiences with Vojo, Silvervvil would say, "Thank you so much. There aren't enough words in existence to say how much I appreciate everyone's support. I've had a shadow over me and a crush spirit for such a long time. I doubted myself and I wanted to disappear. I lost all my passion. I never could have imagined I would be able to talk about it and get closure. I'm honored to have the support and understanding of so many. Thank you for believing in me. You have no idea how much your love means to me. My heart aches for everyone who was lied to and betrayed and taken advantage of. There's been so much pain for so many through this whole ordeal, and it isn't fair. As horrible as all of this is, it's so inspiring to see this community so united for everyone affected. I'm livid that something so heinous could happen, but I hope that everyone can now heal and have hope for the future. I hope everything will be
56 okay one day. Thank you so much, Kuro giving us this update. Important for future business inquiries. Please use the new provided email. She also saying just so you know, yes, I have a new business email. alongside confirming her first subathon is coming the 1st of August. This talent teaming up with Star Forge making this statement due to the events of which has transpired with V Showjo. We just wanted to give an update with regards to the release of the Mishi Mochi cases. Please rest assured that the collaboration is still going ahead. However, since some things need to be reorganized behind the scenes, the Meichi PC case release date is being pushed back to August 1st. And next we have Giga this past weekend revealing her 3.0 outfit. Jenny Hiro here saying
42 she's so cool and evil and definitely at least 1 foot taller than her old form. Noro also saying I had the opportunity to tailor Giga's outfit after she came back from the war. She's taller now as alongside Kumi with Iron Vertex would offer up a showcase. And Free had the opportunity to make the different stages of Giga sticker set. Giga in the early morning hours remarking late night thoughts. Maybe I really should start a company. Brute replying, new isekai title just dropped. The strongest dungeon boss became my real boss. Marinette YouTuber Joel replying she didn't specify the type of company. And Giga saying back, "I'm making a traveling circus." Giga over the past week also criticizing V. Showjo for their business practices, stating that while she found some staff worked incredibly hard, others were known not to work at all and others in her view
27 were entirely unknown. We also have 3:00 a.m. talent getting ready for Animeathon coming up on August 8th through the 10th. One of their newest members, Snuffy, showing off this design.
