It was one specific word and then I closed Discord, open it back up after fixing the settings just to make sure it didn't say it about the new one and then the option was actually just gone that I had hit it on before. 11:28 Uh, it's been a few weeks. I've had I've changed out video cards since then after an adventure in it being mailed to the wrong place. Uh, they sent it to your old address. Have you ever ordered something from Best Buy and it keeps trying to do the autofillin for the address? Thankfully not, just because I don't order anything from Best Buy. So I thought I had completely removed it and I realized right after ordering it, it did not. and it grayed out the change address button and also the customer service was slightly confused at the button being grayed out and then it got delivered to the old address where it sat out front

12:15 in two days and no one would touch it for some reason. Oh, usually you have to worry about those uh packages being touched without permission. No, like that's the thing for a day and a half I couldn't get a hold of the leasing office there. Um, I had the picture of it being delivered. When I finally got a hold of the leasing officer like, "Yeah, it's still in front of the building. The tenant says they won't deal with it." And for some reason, they never sent anyone to go get it. So, it just sat there. So, fantastic. So, I got it, but luckily it's not that's not an open area, so it's fine. unboxed it, got it into the computer, and the GPU that was running slightly too hot is now in the

13:00 new one's box, and we'll make a backup if anything goes horribly, horribly wrong. Hopefully, it doesn't, but you know. Yeah. Oh, no. Nice to have the backup. We've both had equipment go ass up on us. Well, now that you have the backup, that assures that it's not going to happen. Yeah, exactly. Uh, and then you know, Dev, after last time, aren't you kind of happy that it's like almost a calm show? Yes. First up, I was so tired. Liberator. So, 12-2, it's very much a play the card game chapter. There's there's some character conversation stuff, but most of it is play is play the card game.

No, but I even like even but I even like and it does the real thing where Owen even points out whatever Shod's talking about, he never said. Like this is in his head that like he's so upset about what happened that he decided Owen said this stuff to him. Like [ __ ] you were 12 and also delusional. Just [ __ ] chill, man. Like I could see that actually being the end where like it's just they put the end slightly earlier and then you see that Cool Boy has vanished with with no idea what happened. Doesn't that feel very much like ran off in a loop with Unchained? Yeah. So later this week we start year two of Liberator. I like the ending. I do kind of wish it was a bit less card gamey just so it was a bit more enjoyable for me personally. Although at least it doesn't have magic card [ __ ] that doesn't

And soon enough we will have year two of Liberator with the very Power Rangeresque uniforms. So we'll see how that goes. And then wave of anniversaries. So 24th anniversary of Digimon Tamers. Then big 25 for Digimon Adventure 02, which probably means for much of the year it's going to be O2A. and I'm looking forward to seeing what

It it feels like if it's not if they don't announce a Blu-ray box around this summer or fall for around when the 20th hits, it might never get one. Then five years for Digimon Adventure 2020. It does not feel like it's been five years. It doesn't just like to start doing the

Uh then the second anniversary of Digimon Seekers, that one I'm trying to figure out if it really feels like it's been done for a year at this point, maybe. And then it's been nine years since Wad Koji passed. That like

Yeah. just it's like very soon very soon we're going to pass that period where he's been gone for longer than half of the anime's existence sad. Yeah. And then to get weird, we have ghost game dev news from an interesting place. So most people I assume probably have never heard of JLocks before. Um, not at all. Jay Lad is probably better known among anime fans who know that some of it I believe Jay Lod started as part of an outreach having to do with Cool Japan

18:24 which is their support Japanese cultural stuff around the world because it's soft power and so forth. Okay. So Jaylock spun out of that and they do various short reports on, you know, stuff that the money's gone towards because the idea is is is you put money towards Japanese cultural stuff outside of Japan and that helps Japan. That makes sense. Yeah. and they put up one saying that they had done a subsidy which paid for 33 episodes of Ghost Game to be English dubbed. Uh so the interesting thing here is they tag it as part of Tollway Europe but no clarification why that is. It may

19:10 be that it had to do with a European grant or anything, but as far as we know, it is being dubbed in Los Angeles. And as far as I know, it's being dubbed by a studio that isn't necessarily known for anime work. So, we will see what that means. What do they do then? They just do other animation or Well, you got to remember, think about how many things get recorded, especially if you need them in English. Most of the time you will want it to be a place that has native English speakers and has access to actors rather than just whoever's around. So I don't know the exact studio off the top of my head their name, but it is I think it's dubbing generically movies and TV shows that aren't English.

19:57 Oh, okay. So we'll see what it is. Um since the grant was for 33 episodes, we don't know what that means at the moment. It probably means they dubbed half of it with that grant or there could have been other grants for more. So, we'll see. People are taking the tag of Tollway Europe, meaning it will be a Europe first thing and that doesn't necessarily mean that, but we will see. Uh, but they did specifically mention that it should be released in the UK and Ireland by the end of the year for them. Uh, I would guess, well, that's the thing. I would not expect discs in the UK. Uh we've gone over the BBFC fee stuff before. And streaming and video on demand is actually exempt from those at the

20:45 moment. So we will see where it pops up and when. But it does theoretically mean that we will see it by the end of the year, at least half of it. And we saw they are doing um English credit screens and whatnot since they put up one uh timecoded studio screenshot of that. So we will see where it pops up when it pops up. We'll see. See, it's good. Yeah. And then game news. So for Time Stranger, they put up little character intros for uh uh Cananan and Dan. Nothing really new with these. It kind of just gives us a better look at some of the art.

The out the outfit for Dan, especially with the full scarf really does just kind of be like Cyborg 009 doing his fast, speedy running. Uh, and for the month of April, Hacker's Memory is part of PlayStation Plus's monthly game, so grab that while you can if you want it and have not played it. We also get more profiles for Inori and Aban. They aren't really hiding anything here, but we'll pretend that everyone on the planet doesn't already have the exact same guess as to what's going on with these two.

And the weird thing is is to me that's actually kind of bad writing for one key reason. Not because the idea is bad, but because that was like the whole thing with Cyber Sleuth. Like this is the same thing they did there. Same plot points. Yeah. Uh then we get a little promo for the starters for Padamon Goon and Demi Deimon. I will say this, the shading on

Yeah. And these are the precious bowling ball. Yeah. Like if the game has this shading instead of what we saw, I would be pretty happy. Uh then we get a little preview video for Central Town, which shows a few new scenes. And we also get to see a little clip of Medieval Gallant. Although a lot of people are saying they announced he's in it. I'm pretty sure he was in that initial clip we saw. Like we've seen him remember I don't remember which clip it was but I'm 99% sure we saw him before this. Like

See, the issue there is is they would do what they did with Harrison where everyone's like, "Oh, that's such a nice plus. That's like plush." And if you really look at it, you'd realize it's not. Yeah. It's uh like foam. It's like

Then you look at it more carefully and you're like, "Oh, there's nothing plush about this." And I I want to say when they first used it, they explained it was made out of like foam or something. Okay. Yeah, it is for display, not for

Um, a number of Appmon had quote unquote English name translations in Japan because it was basically just, oh, we want to have English here to look cool. A lot of them weren't translated right. And because of this, everyone goes, oh, these are official translations. instead of just going oh they translated something wrong. So like people kept trying to call Scopmon Scorpmon. And then the one that I personally hated the most was next Satellon. I I always I always hated go going Satamon. And more than that I hate

29:19 how people keep trying to convince others now that these are actually dub names. No, they're not. They're proper translations. There's no dub. Yeah. Dev Dev, I guarantee you if you go and check Wikimon, it will say Satam. It will say Satellon as a dub name. I guarantee you it will say that. Uh, so the Telmon one is a redraw of his profile, which is neat. Then can we like I love that. I I want to call it King Gigimon. [ __ ] cute. Where it's him and Giarimon like sitting on a throne. I like how he's angry. is like off with their heads. Yes, exactly. Uh then uh Lamon, she's so [ __ ] cute. I like that they

Uh then after Lamon is Medus. Really nice art there waifu bait. Then her attack raging serpentine. The snake hair always works. It's kind of neat. Cyber drammon and war Greymon. I really like Cyber Dramon. So, what's weird is I was going to say I don't know if I like the cyber drum because for a

30:53 character who's so often shown as rough and tumble, it feels a bit generic, but then War Grey, I was like, "Wow, that's really dynamic." And it feels like the um that one variation of Great Tornado where he's spinning around flying. Okay? Cuz we get the flame spinnies and like, you see what I mean? where it's doing that one where he turns himself into a tornado and flies around as like a drill. Yes. It's like where he's just starting that kind of mot. Exactly. Then uh Medusan and Ragnon. So we knew Gaiaman was going to have different art for English and Japan. We didn't know Medusimon and Ragnamon would.

31:40 Now what's interesting is so Medusa you can go oh the Japanese one feels a little anime plus the English one looks a little more like a painted comic cover type thing and it's like okay what are they going to do for Ragnar then you look at Ragnam it's weird because Ragnaron looks a bit more textured is a bit mid attack mid attack and then the English one feels very animeish just like right up in her face. Yeah. Let's see. I don't know. Uh Gachimmon Peril. Oh, it's just gorgeous. And I love that he's using h the his move deep search. Basically, do look up

And what I like though is it makes it so easy to like see that it's him searching. Very fun and dynamic. Uh Globon. So Globon, this feels like the art that they use on the Atmon toys where it was I barely even remember those. I like I vaguely recall a bit of art like this where like it's kind of anime, kind of comic bookish, but like it it's weird because like I remember in my head uh then parallel card for Haru. This is

33:12 good anime style art. That is a goofy looking gachon though, which and I love it. Oh, uh, Skull Greymon, which that's just menacing. Looks [ __ ] badass. Yes, it does. Uh, Tai Chi card looks really nice. And I love that you can like tell it's the adventure style backgrounds. Yeah, with like the watercolor and everything. Uh, then Duke gets the same with Vimmon. [ __ ] love like the character shading on these. I know. Uh, the Takato Gilman one has salt, really good shading, and I like that it's in the Gilman house. They have bread.

It's a bit more anime style to me. And then and then we take a break from the cute cards for Hey, look, it's Regulusmon. Angy, you know what's weird? You know what this reminds me of? Do you remember the Spider-Man 3 post with him? The black costume from the movie poster. Where like he's like uh where he's like leaning up against the glass. Yes.

My main issue with it is Gumramon like has his feet like fully

Uh then Elizaon parallel continues the theme of where you see the Digimon in anime style art and you see all their evolutions in a like a mono silhouette type style. [ __ ] love this. She looks so adorable. I know it works really well. Uh then Owen Dreadnot. That's some animeish style art that works for him. It's like he's so dramatic and like ah he's got like a

Agimon it feels like it feels like the a little too zoomed in. No, no, no. You know when you when you cycle through like character heads or busts in an anime opening? In fact, I think in fact I think Frontier does this. I think that's what it is. Uh I know the uh Savers second opening definitely does for Ferrari. And then Benon gets the anime style with the color silhouettes.

I love how Auman is just kind of like um like sitting there because because of the text, it's kind of hard to notice that Auman is like sitting down.

It's just like wow. Uh then Exomon X. Anytime we see Exomon and Eximon doing anything, it feels kind of impressive because so often art of him is just kind of him floating there. Yeah. In fact, that's because he's so [ __ ] huge, like what else is there for it to do? No, but that's even the thing in the Tabuno comic. Anytime we see him, it's just him floating there.

Like he's done a lot of really well-known stuff. I'm sure every once in a while someone see the name going, "Wait, that can't be him." And it's like, "Oh, yes it is." Somehat very famous. I'm sure this card's going to go for a cartoonishly stupid amount since it has his signature printed in gold foil. I'm just fascinated with like zooming in and looking at like all like the looks like colored pencil. No. And like he does crazy detailed work and like you can even see like the

40:08 effort and the weird thing is it doesn't really look like a Digimon card in style. It just looks really cool. Then signature card for Zafagamon which is the Sasi. I love how next to his signature he drew in a taroton which is included. Love it. It's so cute. Uh then, okay, so weirdly the English card game account put up one preview of uh booster ex9 and that's been it. There hasn't been any in the Japanese. There hasn't been any more in the English. It's Auman and doing the training from the VPT. And you can even see the Vet. I also love the digital monster frame around it.

And what's funny is for me it feels like the little thing at the bottom left is actually just showing a sprite of that. I just like how because of how little animation the VP has, you could actually think that that's the sprite of him doing that, doing his best. Yeah. Then for uh limited card pack, six billion bullet, we get pre we've seen most of these. We've seen all of them except the um color border cards before which we

If I only get one card from the set, I I want a copy of this one. Yeah. Then, Chrome Memory Boost, which I just love this art. It's just fun. And then, I saw it with Chartus Memory Boost, and my brain just started laughing. Like, that's a pretty specific color. it. Yeah, it's just funny and I like it. But yeah, it looks nice. Uh then Card Battle 212, they did a match featuring o only cards from Booster Set 21, which is a nice little twist, I think. Then 213, they did a Booster Set

And the next episode was a Yuki VTuber unpacking the new starter decks and they had an English version of the episode. And so first off, I don't think the model looks very good. No, it looks um I feel like a lot of the I feel like a lot of the problems would go away if anytime cuz they like detailing the mouth and they haven't colored the teeth. It's a skin color, so it looks really [ __ ] weird. And also, um, if you go between both videos, the person doing the voice very skilled at seeming personable in

Yeah, I I think with English, if they're going to continue that, they need to just have an English voice actor for it. I don't think the Japanese voice actress because I believe it's the same person. Yeah, the Well, that's the thing because there sounds so personable and natural in Japanese, it's hard to tell if it's the same person in English because they're very clearly trying to keep up with the script. And also, it's weird because I don't

No one from Card Battle appears in it, but they refer to her as joining the card, you know, the card game family. So, what are we going to get with the next episode? Is it just Yuki now? Is it going to go back to the um because is this going to just be replaced for Card Room where they had a couple the people doing you know smaller ones or they didn't need to do a large episode? I don't know. Feeling it might go back and forth. I feel like here's what I think is the main issue for me after we saw some of them be English sub just like two weeks ago and being so f full of personality.

People, so these new collectors who were doing it just for money decided that's the thing to buy, to sell, and to try to sell. The problem is is they did like 50 or 60 of them all at once and it tanked the value. Also, uh, also no one wants that game because one, the game's not good. Two, there were millions of them.
