0:00 5 years ago, I was broke working a nineto-ive job at a retail store and stocking shelves. I was hopping from side hustle to side hustle trying to just figure it all out. Fast forward to now, I built a business that changed my life. I bought my dream house in Miami, bought all of my dream cars, but most importantly, I can support myself and my time and never have to trade my time for money ever again. In this video, I'm going to give you the exact five-step process I followed to completely turn my life around. If you watch this video till the end, you'll walk away with the same road map that you can start applying today to do the same. Without further ado, let's get into it. Step number one, falling into the rabbit hole. A lot of you guys are probably currently at this point. You're watching a ton of videos trying to figure out how you're going to get closer to your dream life, but nothing is really sticking
0:46 yet. I was at this stage in my life, too, when I was 15 years old. Fell into the rabbit hole of online businesses because I was seeing how rich these people were getting. Honestly, I thought that it was going to be easy, but I quickly learned that it's not as easy as people make it. I started obsessing over online business content. I was trying everything. Drop shipping, crypto, NFTTS, day trading, clothing brand, you name it, I probably tried to do it. But the problem is nothing stuck. And it's because I was way too focused on money. I learned that when you're in this early phase, your goal shouldn't be money. It should be inputs, your daily actions, your habits, and most importantly, your skill set. But if you skip that and you jump straight into just chasing money, you'll quit the second things get hard. You'll end up jumping from business model to business model like I did
1:32 instead of building momentum. That's when I realized the importance of step number two, picking the right skill. Once I stopped chasing business models and I started focusing on actual skills, that's exactly when things really started to change for me. I used to think that I needed the perfect business model, which is why I tried all of them. But in reality, one skill has the opportunity to change your life. I figured this out when I was trying to launch my own clothing brand. At first, I was kind of disappointed because it just didn't blow up like I thought it would. But this clothing brand taught me how to run ads and market a product, which were my first real skills to come out of this. And I realized people would actually pay me for them because all these other brand owners were struggling to do exactly what I had just learned the hard way. That's exactly what I built my business on, running ads for Golden Brands. If you're in this phase,
2:19 although I think running ads is one of the best skills anyone can learn and monetize, there's tons of other options out there. If you know how to edit videos, start a content agency for creators or brands. If you're good at writing, learn copywriting, and help businesses convert traffic into sales. Pretty much just focus on building high-paying skills that people actually want and need. There's countless amounts of examples I could sit here and give you, but none of it's actually going to matter if you don't apply step three. Step number three, sacrifice and take risks. Once I had a skill I could monetize, I had to make a decision. Was I going to treat this like a hobby or was I going to treat it like my ticket to success? This is where most people go wrong. They say they want to be financially free, move out, retire their mom, all of that stuff, but they aren't
3:04 willing to sacrifice anything. I realized that in order to leverage my skill, I really had to make some sacrifices and ultimately make my business everything. I had to go allin. So that's exactly what I did. I started sacrificing things like parties, weekends, just random [ __ ] And then I dropped out of school, moved across the country. I started working 10 to 15 hours a day building this thing. I treated it like it was the only way out. When you move like there's no plan B, that's when stuff starts working. So when you're at this step, you need to do the same and be willing to take risks. If I hadn't taken those risks, I wouldn't be where I am today. dropping out of school, moving across the country, risking money on my business, but most importantly, making business my everything. I was so focused on
3:50 perfecting the skill set and perfecting my business and continuing to make it better and better and better instead of focusing on distractions like other people my age. For any of you watching this video, I want you to realize that this skill is what can allow you to make your way out. Along my journey, I slowly fell into love with perfecting my skill set and getting better and better every day. With that, the money flowed in naturally and I saw the vision for the long term. I finally had actually like realized my full potential. But the thing is is none of that was possible and I was never able to visualize that true potential until I was able to cut out distractions and develop good habits. Show up even when I didn't feel like it. The best advice I can give you is to prioritize perfecting your skill set over everything else in your life.
4:38 Once you go allin, you need to make sure you're focusing on step four, mastering micro skills. Being good at your skill isn't enough to win. If you want to separate yourself from the competition, you have to become extremely good at the little things. This is the real key to success. It's also where most people hit a plateau. They've picked their skill. They're consistent. They're even getting some nice opportunities, but they stop improving. Most people think that they need to make massive jumps to see success, but imagine how successful you would be if you were just 1% better every single day. After about a year, you would be about 37 times better than where you were before. And in every industry, whether it's media buying, video editing, copywriting, sales, or anything in between, the top 1% are obsessed with perfecting the micro skills, the micro skills inside of their
5:24 main skill. That's how they're making themselves 1% better each day. For example, if you run ads for businesses, do you just know how to open Facebook Ads Manager and launch a campaign? Or do you know how to write copy, make good creatives, analyze back-end data? You need to go deeper than you think and completely master the little skills that are related to the main one. Never take shortcuts and settle for less. Do everything to perfection. Which leads us to step five, which is probably the biggest one on the list. Step number five, you already know what to do, so do it. Now, you can put all of your energy into building skills, landing clients, and leveling up. But if you never change your mindset, you're never going to be able to level up. After coaching hundreds of people on my exact business model, I've seen firsthand that people will always find a way to return the
6:11 level their mindset is at. It's why people self-sabotage. It's why they ghost opportunities. It's why they burn out even when things start working. It's almost like they have imposttor syndrome. They don't believe they should be doing what they're doing, and they give into that identity. And I guarantee that's the reason a lot of you guys aren't even starting your journey. But you and I both know you already know what you should be doing. Just [ __ ] do it. You and I are the exact same. I'm just a normal kid just like you watching this. But the only difference is I did what I knew I had to do. It simply all starts with the decision that you're going to make it happen no matter the circumstances. And setting your mind firm on that is literally the key. Everything else flows from there naturally. the mindset shift, the long-term vision, the long-term potential. Most importantly, you're
6:56 actually able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But right now, you're oblivious to it. You haven't even started yet. The truth is is it'll never actually make sense until you just throw yourself into the fire and experience what it truly feels like. You will never achieve that level of clarity until you simply just do it. That's pretty much a summary of the five-step formula I used to change my life.
