Brief Summary

This video highlights an exceptional deal on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, particularly the 44mm LTE variant, and compares it to other smartwatches like the Watch 6, Watch 6 Classic, Watch 8, and OnePlus Watch 2. It emphasises the Watch 7's value due to its performance, similar features to the Watch 8, and significant upgrades over older models, making it a compelling choice for those seeking a smartwatch under £200.

  • The Galaxy Watch 7 (44mm LTE) is available for around £150 with bank discounts, offering great value.
  • It features the same processor as the newer Watch 8 and Watch Ultra, ensuring smooth performance.
  • While missing some of the latest software features of the Watch 8, it still offers comprehensive health tracking and will receive several years of software updates.

The best smartwatch deal 🤯

The video starts by announcing a deal on the Galaxy Watch 7, specifically the 44mm LTE variant. Originally priced at 37,000 rupees, it is now available for 19,900 rupees, and further discounts can bring the price down to 15,000 rupees with certain bank offers. The presenter urges viewers to consider this deal, while also teasing a comparison with other smartwatches like the Watch 6 Classic, OnePlus Watch 2, and the newer Galaxy Watch 8 to determine the best option.

But waiiiit....

The presenter acknowledges the existence of other options like the Watch 6 Classic, OnePlus Watch 2, and the newer Galaxy Watch 8. The video aims to help viewers understand what they gain or miss out on by choosing the Galaxy Watch 7 over these alternatives.

What makes it special at this price?

The Galaxy Watch 7 deal is special because it represents a significant upgrade over the Galaxy Watch 6, which is in the same price range, and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which sells for around 20,000 rupees during sales. It is also very similar to the newer Galaxy Watch 8. The Watch 7 features the classic circular design, which is a preference for many over the Watch 8's design. Both watches have quickly snapping bands, an armour aluminium build, sapphire glass for screen protection, IP68 water resistance, and military-grade certification.

Screen?

The Galaxy Watch 7 has a screen size that is only marginally smaller (0.03 inches) than the Watch 8, with similar sharpness and colour quality. It includes features like touch bezel, Always-On Display (AOD), and tap-to-raise functionality. However, the Watch 8 has a brighter display with a peak of 3,000 nits compared to the Watch 7's 2,000 nits, which is noticeable when comparing them directly, but the Watch 7 still offers adequate outdoor visibility.

The real Big Deal

The performance of the Galaxy Watch 7 is a major selling point, as it uses the same Exynos W930 processor found in the newer Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and even the Galaxy Watch Ultra. It also has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, ensuring smooth and responsive performance when launching apps and workouts.

Health features

The Galaxy Watch 7 includes all the standard health tracking sensors found in Samsung smartwatches. While the Watch 8 introduces features like high stress alerts, a running coach, vascular load measurement, and antioxidant index, the Watch 7 still offers most of the essential features. It includes an energy score to advise on rest and activity levels, an AGES index feature, step tracking, activity tracking, workout options, stress tracking, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, and blood pressure and ECG options when paired with Samsung phones. The tracking accuracy is noted to be reliable.

OneUI & WearOS

The Galaxy Watch 7 runs One UI 6 based on Wear OS 5, providing access to various apps and Google Play support. As an LTE variant, it supports calls and messages without needing a phone. However, it lacks some of the Watch 8's new AI-based app suggestions, multi-info tiles, and the Now Bar. The presenter anticipates that some of these features may come to the Watch 7 via software updates. The Watch 7 will receive four years of OS updates and five years of security patches, extending its usability.

Battery life?

The Galaxy Watch 7 has a battery capacity that is only 10mAh less than the Watch 8, offering a similar battery life of around one and a half days for typical use. It charges in the same way as the Watch 8, but it cannot be charged wirelessly using a Samsung phone's reverse wireless charging feature.

Watch 7 vs Watch 7 vs Watch 8 vs OnePlus Watch 2?

The presenter concludes that the Galaxy Watch 7 at around 15,000 rupees is an exceptional deal, especially the 44mm LTE variant. It is considered better than the Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic due to its newer processor, which ensures better long-term performance. The few compromises compared to the Watch 8 are not significant at this price point. Compared to the OnePlus Watch 2, the Galaxy Watch 7 offers a brighter screen, superior processor, more accurate tracking, LTE support, and a more refined user experience with One UI.

0:00 Another best smartwatch deal is live right now as we speak. I'm talking about the outright winner of the best Android smartwatch award year after year, the Galaxy Watch. And this time, it's last year's Galaxy Watch 7. And wait for it, it's the LTE variant. And again, wait for it, it's the 44 mm variant that launched at 37,000 rupees. And right now, it's going for 199. And time to call that one friend with the right card because with the bank discount, you can get it for 15 freaking,000. So, stop the video. Just go buy it. Thanks for watching. Wait, sorry. Sorry. There's also the Watch 6 Classic. Uh, there's OnePlus Watch 2. Why not get the new Galaxy Watch 8? Well, what do you get? What do you miss? Time to find all of

0:45 that out. Hit that subscribe button. Let's go. Look, let's get right to the point. First up, what makes this Galaxy Watch 7D price really special is when you think about it. One, this is a big upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 6, which again goes in the same price range. Two, it's also a big upgrade to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, which goes around 20K during sales. And three, this is not very different when compared to the newer Galaxy Watch 8. And first off, it's got the quintessential And first off, it's got the 20 quintessential Yeah, subscribe for more fancy words. Galaxy Watch round circular design, which is honestly a big factor because not everyone seems to be a fan

1:30 of the Watch 8's cushion squirle design. I mean, you guys tell me. Yeah, the Watch 8 is thinner and it shows, but that's pretty much it. The Watch 7, just like the Watch 8, has the new quickly snapping bands, which are high quality, and it has the same armor aluminium build, sapphire glass on the screen for protection, the same 580M IP68 water resistance, the same military grade certification. It's even got a similar screen. I mean, 0.03 03 in bigger compared to watch 8 screen probably because of the round design but the quality is pretty similar. It's sharp colors look nice. It's responsive without any problems. It's got the touch bezel. There's AOD tap tow raise tow basically all the features you want. But yeah, one area where the watch 8 is kind of better is brightness. See the 7 display is 2,000 nits at max which is fine to use. Outdoor visibility is fine

2:17 to no issues. part the watch 8 has 3,000 nets peak which shows when you really sort of compare it that part what probably is the bigger deal especially at the 15k price tag is the kind of performance this brings the watch 7 has the same exos w000 processor which is a 3 nm 5 core chips at the same as the new watch 8 watch classic or even the Galaxy Watch Ultra it's even got the same 2 GB RAM 32GB storage and the performance is topnotch here I mean I've used this in the past I've been using it for this video and it's just snappy almost all the time when launching apps apps, launching workouts, doing a lot of scrolling, and talking about workouts, this has all the sensors you get in a Samsung smartwatch, and that means you get all the health tracking features. Now, do not the new Galaxy Watch 8 does bring features like high stress alerts, a running coach, which is pretty cool. Vascular load, again, a very good

3:03 feature. Antioxidant index, again, great. And I don't think these Galaxy Watch 8 features will make its way to the Galaxy Watch 7, but it does have most of the other great features you kind of expect from a Galaxy Watch. And it has the energy score which is honestly really good because it tells you if you need more rest or you need to be more active with a score. Very nice gamification. Yeah, fancy word to subscribe. This also has the AGES index feature. You also get all the other health features. There's obviously step tracking and activity tracking. You get all the different workout options. Stress tracking is there. Heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, and you get blood pressure and ECG options with Samsung phones. So yeah, most of the features are there. And like pretty much every Galaxy watch, the tracking has been pretty spot-on for me. very accurate. Now, one thing where the Watch 8 is kind of ahead is the One UI version. The Watch 7 is running 1 UI 6

3:49 based on where OS 5. So, while it still has all the features, all the apps, Google Play support, and since this is the LT version, you'll be able to use it for calls, messages, use all of the apps without even needing your phone when you're out. But yeah, it does kind of miss out on the watch's new AI based app suggestions, the new multi-info tiles, or the new now bar, which is very cool, Gemini, which is again very useful on a smartwatch. But I think these will be coming to the Watch 7 by an update. And since this came with 1 UI 6 for watch out of the box, this will still get 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches, which is great for 15K. And yeah, this will get 1 UI 8 for watch. Do note that Samsung skip 1 UI 7 to kind of make it seamless with 1 UI on the phones. You know, 8 8 same. Now, in terms of battery, this is 10 mh lesser compared to the Galaxy Watch 8. So, not

4:35 a big difference. And this should last for around one and a half days for most people in typical Android or any other proper smartwatch fashion. Now charge is also the same. And like the watch 8, you can't charge it wirelessly with your Samsung phone's back. Now honestly, if you ask me, it's kind of plain and simple. The fact that you're getting the Galaxy Watch 7, which I think is still fairly new and that to the 44 mm LTE variant at around 15,000 rupees, is just plain crazy. It's a killer deal. I mean, simple. If you've been planning to buy a smartwatch under 20K, just go for it. It's better than the Galaxy Watch 6 6 Classic in terms of performance. I the newer processor will just run better in the long run. And at this price, the few cut downs from the Watch 8 are not a deal breakaker. And as for the OnePlus Watch 2, I'd say the Watch 7 deal is way better because of the brighter screen,

5:22 39m processor, more accurate tracking overall, LT, and one UFO watch is just way more features, and it's just more refined. Anyway, make sure to hit the subscribe button so that you don't miss deals like this. do it now. And yeah, if you're a Galaxy Watch 7 user, you know what to do. Share your experience in the comment section below so that everyone can know. Thanks for watching and don't forget that subscribe button. Hit the bell icon. See you in the next one.
