00 Welcome to Axis of Truth on JNS. I'm Emily Schrader and today on this premiere episode, we'll be exposing these shady hypocrites giving power to some of the world's most extreme dictatorships. We'll round up and discuss all the biggest stories from the Middle East. And we'll hear from Iranian affairs expert Benny Sabi, who will break down the aftermath of Israel's war on the Islamic Republic. Was it enough? First, let's talk about the American useful idiot in Moscow and now in Tyrron. Well, Tucker Carlson has officially become the Ayatollah's favorite influencer. Influencer, not journalist. Yes, the same man who once
46 claimed that Putin was more trustworthy than his own government, is now giving a platform to Massud Peshkan, the Islamic Republic's new handpicked puppet president, all while pretending this is real journalism. Now, let's be honest. Pzeskan is not the president of Iran. He's a glorified spokesman for the clerical dictatorship selected in a sham election where only regime approved candidates were allowed to run. The Iranian people didn't elect him. They were forced to choose between the lesser of a dozen evils or not vote at all, which is what the majority of them did. The truth is, if you ask most Iranians, there is no president of Iran. The corrupt mullers in power are occupying. They are an occupying oppressive force, which has hijacked the entire country
31 into a terror producing hell hole where its own people suffer as the regime funds and arms terror proxies across the region. And Tucker, he's there grinning, nodding along as if he's interviewing a legitimate leader instead of a regime mouthpiece presiding over an illegitimate unelected theocracy that's been occupying Iran for 45 years. A regime whose very slogan is death to America. Though according to the Ayatollah himself, this isn't just a slogan. Let's take a look. when we get married.
18 But America first, right, Tucker? The sad part is this isn't Carlson's first time shilling for tyranny. He's praised Vladimir Putin, attacked Zalinski, and defended Qatar, a state that funds Hamas and represses women like it's the Middle Ages. Now he's giving airtime to the Islamic Republic, a regime that executes protesters, beats women to death for removing hijab, and shoots teenagers in the eyes. Tucker's entire act is pretending to fight the establishment while cozing up to every authoritarian regime that hates democracy and human rights. He's not a journalist. He's a PR agent for fascism. And there's proof. According to Qatar's Farah filings in February, that is the Foreign Agent Registration Act that requires foreign governments to disclose their activities in the United States, the Embassy of
04 Qatar paid a third party company to coordinate an interview with the Prime Minister of Qatar along with Tucker Carlson for the specific purpose of presenting the narrative against war with the Islamic Republic. Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic itself is in freef fall, humiliated militarily, weakened economically, and desperately searching for a narrative win as the Iranian people despise them possibly more than ever. That's where Tucker comes in. Tucker is part of their propaganda lifeline, their Western validation while they execute minors and crush descent and burn through any remaining international credibility. Add that to their coordinated disinformation campaigns across social media, falsely accusing Israel of deliberately targeting civilians, even as Hamas uses
49 human shields and hides in hospitals. But Tucker doesn't mention that. No, he might interrupt that might, excuse me, interrupt the performative anti-western rage that he sells for clicks. So, let me say it plainly. Tucker Carlson is doing the dirty work of a brutal dictatorship. And anyone who believes that he's giving us the truth needs a crash course in Iranian history and probably a new moral compass. All right, and now I want to shift to our headlines of the week. I'm going to give you my take on some of the Middle East's top stories this week. So, first comes first, Iran's crackdown turning deadly. I mean, crackdowns are escalating very fast in the aftermath of the war with Israel inside of Iranian territory. In just the last week, we saw
36 security forces murdered two young Iranian men in cold blood. Sed Hamidi and Muhammad Afi, sparking new protests across several provinces, including Kujasan, Kurdistan, and Thran. Now, these were not criminals that were killed. These were young Iranians shot by besiege thugs for refusing to comply with orders basically in this case for existing. The same experience that many Iranians have unfortunately had with this regime. But while this regime is violently suppressing any descent with checkpoints, arbitrary searches of electronic devices, vehicles, homes, and more, we saw this week also that crown prince of Iran Resapz announced that over 20,000 security personnel, including some IRGC officers, have defected in recent weeks. Now, if this
23 is indeed true and is confirmed, that's a massive blow to the regime. This is one of the major threats to its very existence. It's one of the ways that the Islamic Revolution actually was able to take place in 1979. Now, there have been a lot of people asking me, well, why aren't the people of Iran rising up after what Israel did? Uh, it's a great question and I think it's really important to remember that Iranians, unlike Gazins, actually trusted the IDF and followed the instructions we gave them. So, it's a little bit unreasonable to expect them to organize a mass protest to overthrow the regime, especially in Thrron, a city of 8 million when 5 million of them evacuated Iran's largest city at the instruction of the IDF. But then it comes to the regime. I mean, they know that they're
10 in deep trouble. And right now, I think they're trying to distract from their collapsing control because we see the regime's leadership is now accusing Mossad of engineering these small-cale protests that we've seen starting to to pop up. Hopefully, they get much larger. But of course, uh, of course, this is what they do because nothing says legitimate government like blaming foreign spies every time your people rise up against you. And that's not even limited, of course, to their own people. It was announced this week that the regime arrested two French nationals, falsely accusing them of being Mossad spies. This means over 1300 total have been arrested. At least seven have been executed. And the Iranian people's discontent is rapidly increasing. Is this a ticking time bomb until the end of the regime? If I had to bet, I would
57 certainly bet on it. And next headline, Gaza ceasefire, real progress or a tactical pause. In the meantime, there's cautious optimism about a potential ceasefire deal in Gaza as Prime Minister Netanyahu visits President Trump in Washington. Reports are suggesting that hostages could be released and Qatar and Egyptian mediators are involved again. But let's not kid ourselves. As long as Hamas is in control of Gaza, there will be no real peace. Meanwhile, over the weekend, Hamas attacked the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, GHF, their aid distribution point. This injured two American aid workers uh by throwing Iranian-made grenades at the staff delivering food to civilians. Now, GHF sources say the
42 terrorists then blended into the crowd to provoke an Israeli response. It's a cynical and calculated attempt once again to use civilians as human shields and something we've seen no shortage of in recent weeks as Israel and the IDF are constantly embroiled in controversy over the fact that Hamas are sabotaging the distribution of aid for their own people. This follows recent attacks by Hamas against Palestinian aid workers affiliated with GHF. 12 of them have been killed already and Hamas has explicitly threatened anyone working with them despite the fact that tens of millions of meals have been and are being distributed by GHF. While we all want to see the hostages come home, I feel like there's something especially strange about a ceasefire being brokered
29 between the US, Israel, and Hamas during which Hamas is actively attacking not only Israelis but American citizens, too. Well, let's hope Trump has a harsher response up his sleeve to put these terrorists in their place when it comes to assaulting American citizens. Israeli citizens arrested as Iranian spies. Now, in a shocking development, Israeli citizens, yes, actual Israelis have been arrested for spying for the Islamic Republic. Now, according to the Shinbet, these individuals were contacted online, were groomed, and instructed to collect information on IDF movements and Jewish communal institutions. In some of these cases, the individuals didn't know who they were working for until it was too late.
15 I wanted to highlight this issue because I think it's critically important that everyone understands the Islamic Republic of Iran isn't just targeting dissident, Iranian dissident abroad. It's recruiting inside Israel as well as other places, proving that no democracy is immune from Thrron's long reach. So yes, that means you Americans as well. The Islamic Republic is running really a a colonialist campaign, not just in Iran, but across the Middle East, from Lebanon to Syria to Yemen to Gaza. And this this isn't foreign policy. It's it's actually ideological imperialism. and now they've got some useful idiots in the west giving them the help that they need for in many cases a few hundred bucks. So, this is your warning. Be careful. Don't click on links you don't recognize and SMS or WhatsApp or
01 email or anywhere else online when you're logging in to your accounts. Make sure you have um two-step verification enabled. Double check the URL that it's logical for what you're looking at. Pay attention. And of course, wherever you are in the world, United States, Canada, Israel, be sure that you report any of the suspicious behavior that you may receive uh to the relevant authorities. Well, now I want to turn to my guest for today to discuss more about this. Joining me now is Benny Sabi, a veteran researcher on Iran's regional strategy and propaganda machine and one of Israel's most respected voices on the Iran Israel relationship. Benny, thanks so much for joining us on Axis of Truth. I actually want to start with a bit of background for our audience. Can you
46 share a little bit first about how you grew up when you came to Israel and how you came to Israel and share a bit about the narrative which the Islamic Republic is rooted in? I mean, what did they teach children there? What do they really stand for? Is is this death to America really a policy as Kamei stated? Thank you, Ailia. Thank you for having me here. I was born a few years before the Iranian revolution in 72 in the Shah period. Uh on the surface it was a secular country. We had bars, we had beaches, boys and girls together in the university and everywhere. But it was only on the surface because he didn't take care of the extremists under the
32 the surface. What in one side just like what is going on in the campuses in west on one side the religious establishment they were poisoning the the minds of the young ones and and bringing to to mosque and and uh teaching them the extreme ideology of Islam and the other side there was the lefties of that they were inspired by Soviet Union and these two powers combined joined hands together in 7879 9 and brought us the revolution. It was very violent. Some of the things that that we saw on October 7, we saw them already in there in 78. The country changed totally in that months. The slogan death to Israel and death to
19 America is from their heart. It's not something to bargain about. It's the ideology of the revolution and the regime. And believe me if they could they came in that days and destroy Israel and even destroy us but they couldn't do it in that days. So I lived there eight more years under the depression. It was like a hell really IRGC inside Iran is not less than IRGC outside of Iran. they are take making terror also against the people and we had to run away uh after 8 years in 87 to Israel it's a long story by foot and and in the desert uh so till then I'm researching
05 uh the Iranian issue all all over the the the place and and I'm happy to to contribute to to understand it better. Now, moving forward to the current conflict, the Islamic Republic, they've invested billions in the propaganda effort because they can't really win militarily at a number of different levels, academic, media, diplomatic. How effective is this effort of the Islamic regime and how can we counter it? It's very effective if if you don't take measures and you don't stand against it. They bring up and grow up more and more kind of soldiers in everywhere. They we have them in Africa. We have them in Europe, in Latin America, in Venezuela and and everywhere and and eastern
52 countries in in Asia. But if we take measures and and we do stand against it, we can very easily bring them out and and neutralize them because it's all about lies. their their theories, their Islamic centers, these propaganda is all based on lies. When they bring four years old Swedish uh girl uh blonde to to their mosque and teach them to be martyrs, they don't understand what they are hearing and how how these stories are are related to the to the Swedish people. But they make it uh go there and and make the people believe in that. But we can really very easily neutralize
38 them if we join hands by the countries by the organizations because the false and the lie can be uh discovered very fast. Now one of the things that we've seen during the war and of course after is an increasing number of Israelis that have been arrested or detained because of working at the behest of the Islamic regime. Some of them duped into this uh unknowingly or because of financial constraints. How prevalent is this? And do you expect to see more of this in the coming months and uh and years and and what can those in the west not just Israelis do to to be vigilant against this? Yes. Uh in my opinion I think it's not only because econ economical issues and problems. I think if there are young
23 ones and we saw a 14 years old and 13 years old boy was recruited from the by the Iranian regime. Sometimes it, you know, it's because it's something exciting and and and the boy wants to do maybe something like he saw in the movies and others I think it was also about some emotions that they have against the system in in Israel. They want to maybe kind of revenge against one system or or I don't know social security organization that they went to and and they were kind of insulted. It's not about money. And the Iranian regime knows how to come to the social media and take these people out and and talk
09 to them uh very warmly, hug them and bring them to to be recruited uh to their espionage missions. But the problem is that it's not a regular espionage and they are not gathering only information. They want to be terrorists. They want just to burn forest. You know what the forest dude does to to the Iranian regime? I don't understand it. Or or killing or assassinating a senior Israeli who is running in the park. So it's all about making terror. It's not a regular and kind of western kind of espionage. So we have to cut these roots as as soon as possible. I want to ask you one more question before we wrap up and that is about the Iranian people in the aftermath of this
56 war. What are you hearing from Iranians on the ground? What is their perspective in terms of what happened? And and what do you believe that Israel's next steps should be? From what I see in the social media, of course, there's there is many censorship and and uh and we cannot know all the truth about what is going on in the Iranian minds. But from what I see, they didn't hate Israel uh because of the bombing. Even there were some people who asked for more bombing but against those IRGC seniors who are in charge of the depression. Not only the ones who are in charge of the nuclear issue or terror issue outside of Iran, but in the last
41 two days of the war, they were very happy that Israel bombed the headquarters of IRGC that is char in charge of internal issues of Tehran and this could bring them more hope more more encouraging uh them to come out. Unfortunately, it was uh stopped. I think uh there will be maybe another round of that and Israel if it focuses about that also Iranian people can come out and have more hope because we hear such sounds of course they don't love that we bomb them and and we are not bombing the Iranian people of course but hurting Iran as a country as a soil is not a good thing but they understand that it's kind of surgery and many people wrote it that
28 Yes, we do need a surgery. It it can be hurtful, but we have to have that. And it's a very mature thing to to say. Yeah, that does echo a lot of also what I've been receiving from Iranians on the ground that they view it as a cancer. They view this regime as a cancer that needs to be removed. Well, I will let you go, but I want to thank you for joining us today on Access of Truth and shedding some insight on what's going on inside of Iran. And I'm sure that we'll have you back for a longer discussion, but for today, this will have to suffice. Thank you so much, Benny Sabi. Thank you. Well, after that, I want to spend our last few minutes together highlighting some of the key events across the world this week that deserve mentions. The good ones, the bad ones, and yes, the ugly ones, too. So, let's take a look. First off, the good. UK bans Palestine
15 Action. Well, in the UK, the government has officially banned Palestine Action, which is a group known for vandalizing property, promoting terrorists, and harassing Jewish communities. Recently, they tried to intimidate a London neighborhood and got a very British response. A bucket of cold water. Cheers to that. Love to see it. But seriously, this is a hate group that has terrorized the London Jewish community. They've also caused profound damage to UK military sites, breaking into a UK army base and damaging two aircraft over Israel. Then this week after the government announced they were officially banned under the UK's counterterrorism laws, they protested and mass and over 20 arrests were made. It's shame that it was only 20. Over the weekend, activists also disrupted the
01 London Pride parade by throwing red paint over a truck involved in the parade and gluing themselves to the vehicle because, you know, LGBTQ rights are so big in the Palestinian controlled areas with more than 90% of the Palestinian public believing that homosexuality should be punishable by death. And yes, that's actually true. The source is Pew Research. Now, the only thing the Palestinians hate more than Jews is apparently the LGBTQ community. Now, think about that Palestine action. On to the bad. Synagogue firebombed in Melbourne. Now, Australia has had a terrible time with terrorism. I don't mean discrimination, anti-Semitic incidents, actual terrorism. A Australian synagogue in Melbourne was firebombed this week. And on top of that, at the same time, an
46 Israeli restaurant was attacked just minutes later in what seems to be what looks like a coordinated anti-semitic attack. Now, police are treating this as a hate crime. And while no one was injured somewhat miraculously, this is exactly why we cannot be complacent about Jew hatred, no matter where it shows up. It's incredibly disappointing that there have been these continued attacks on the Australian Jewish community and an embrace of fanaticism in the name of anti-Zionism. And now for the ugly. Zoran Mdani, the New York assemblyman who never met a terrorist he didn't like, posted this video of Indian man cosplaying as Jews, mocking Hanukkah. Yes, really. This is the same guy who's called for defunding the NYPD, cutting counterterrorism
34 funding, minimized the October 7th massacre, and now thinks anti-Semitic incitement is a Tik Tok trend. Let's take a look. [Music] Now, I could spend more than a few minutes breaking down why Mamani is such a problem, but I really shouldn't have to explain why this is ridiculously inappropriate and offensive. After all, Mani gets it himself. But apparently, when it comes to Jews, it doesn't apply. Even 90-year-old Jews. It's time American recognize Madani isn't just wrong, he's actually dangerous. Well, that's it for this week on Axis of Truth, where we don't play
20 nice with tyrants. And unlike Tucker Carlson, we don't pretend oppression is a different perspective. We'll be back next week with more discussions and stories that impact the world from the Middle East all the way to the Western world. I'm Emily Schrader. Be sure to follow me on social media, Emily Krader or Emily in Tel Aviv. And thank you for watching. See you next week on Access of Truth, only on JNS.
