Rajasthan Industrial Park Promotion Policy 2026
The Rajasthan Industrial Park Promotion Policy 2026 aims to promote private sector investment in industrial parks. RIICO is the nodal agency. Applications can be submitted through the Raj Nivesh portal using a single window system. The policy offers four models:
- Model A: 100% RIICO land
- Model B: 80% developer, 20% RIICO land
- Model C: 100% developer land
- Model D: PPP model
The minimum land requirement is 50 acres with at least 10 industrial units. A 20% capital subsidy is available, with a maximum of ₹20 crore for up to 100 acres, ₹30 crore for 100-250 acres, and ₹40 crore for over 250 acres. 50% of the cost of establishing a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) is reimbursed, up to a maximum of ₹12.5 crore. 60% of the cost of road construction is reimbursed, up to a maximum of ₹3 crore. There is a 7-year exemption on electricity duty and stamp duty.
Rajasthan Home Stay or Paying Guest House Scheme 2026
The Rajasthan Home Stay or Paying Guest House Scheme 2026 aims to promote ease of doing business. The maximum number of rooms in a home stay unit has been increased from 5 to 8, and the maximum number of beds has been increased from 15 to 24. It is no longer mandatory for the owner to reside on the premises. Information about foreign guests must be provided to the administration. Records of guests must be maintained for seven years. Temporary permission is granted within 7 days of application, and permanent permission for 2 years is granted after inspection within 3 months. Fees vary based on the type of home stay: ₹1000 for Silver and ₹2000 for Gold.
National HPV Vaccination Campaign Launched in Ajmer
The National Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination Campaign was launched in Ajmer by Prime Minister Modi on February 28th. The campaign aims to prevent cervical cancer. Registration is done through the U-WIN portal, and the Gardasil 4 vaccine will be administered. The vaccine protects against HPV types 16 and 18.
Final Voter List Released for 199 Assembly Constituencies
The final voter list has been released for 199 assembly constituencies. The list for Anta constituency is still pending. Appeals related to the voter list can be made under Section 24 of the Lok Pratinidhitva Adhiniyam 1950 and Rules 23 and 27 of the Nirvachak Panjikaran Adhiniyam 1960. The first appeal can be made to the District Magistrate within 15 days, and a second appeal can be made to the Chief Electoral Officer within 30 days. There are approximately 5.15 crore voters in Rajasthan. The sex ratio has increased from 909 to 911. The number of young voters has increased by 43,561. The districts with the highest increase in voters are Jaipur, Phalodi, Bharatpur, Sirohi, and Bundi.
Rajasthan Ranked First in Implementation of PM Matru Vandana Yojana
Rajasthan has been ranked first in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana in January. It had previously achieved this rank in September.
Sex Sorted Semen Lab in Bassi
A state-of-the-art sex-sorted semen lab has been inaugurated in Bassi, Jaipur, to increase the number of female calves born, thereby reducing the problem of stray cattle. The lab aims for approximately 85% accuracy.
Gaon Gawal Yojana

Progress of Swachh Bharat Mission in Rajasthan
42,492 villages in Rajasthan have been declared ODF (Open Defecation Free) under the Swachh Bharat Mission.
Identification Cards for DNT Community
12,455 individuals from the DNT (De-Notified Tribes) community have been issued identification cards. The highest number of beneficiaries were from Ganganagar.

A state-level forest fair was organized at the Secretariat Nursery in Jaipur with the theme "Van Dhan Jan Dhan."
Hadoti Forest Fair

Amendments to Panchayati Raj Act
Amendments have been made to the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act 1994 and the Municipality Act 2009, removing the restriction on individuals with more than two children from contesting elections. The restriction on individuals with leprosy has also been removed.
New Directorate for Economic Offenses
The Directorate of State Revenue Intelligence has been replaced with the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and Economic Offenses.
