How To Make Your Greatest Comeback In 2025 | Vaibhav Kadnar

Brief Summary

Vaibhav Kadnar shares a personal transformation story, detailing his journey from a low point in his career to achieving viral success on YouTube. He emphasizes the importance of self-reflection, building systems, and focusing on personal growth rather than external validation. Kadnar outlines a four-phase process: hitting a breaking point, disappearing to rebuild, undergoing a transformation, and making a comeback.

  • Hitting rock bottom and realizing the need for change.
  • Disappearing from social media and external influences to focus on self-reflection.
  • Building systems and routines for personal and professional growth.
  • Achieving viral success and transforming into a more confident and capable individual.

The Breaking Point

Kadnar recounts an incident where he was splashed with dirty water, triggering a moment of realization about his dissatisfaction with life. He was working a job he disliked, felt he had failed in his startup attempts, and was disappointing his father. This led him to question his decisions and purpose, ultimately deciding to "disappear" for six months to rebuild himself. He uninstalled Instagram, blocked distractions, and created a simple routine focused on script writing and work.

The Disappearing Act

Kadnar describes the initial challenges of disconnecting from social media and external opinions. He felt bored and experienced FOMO, but gradually, he began to hear his inner voice more clearly. He emphasizes the importance of self-questioning, asking himself who he is, what he wants, and what he wants to become. Kadnar shares specific identity, purpose, and fear-based questions he wrote in his diary to guide his self-reflection. He also highlights the significance of self-acceptance, standing in front of the mirror to acknowledge his flaws and current reality.

The Transformation Process

Kadnar discusses the demanding phase of rebuilding, characterized by long hours, minimal sleep, and initially low video views. Despite the lack of external validation, he made a deal with himself to become undeniable through hard work and skill development. He shifted his focus from motivation to building systems, including deep work, workouts, and reading books on psychology, business, and mindset. Kadnar shares an anecdote about realizing his editing skills had improved, highlighting that transformation is internal before it becomes external.

The Comeback

Kadnar recounts a shift in December 2022, where he became more assertive and focused on his goals, cutting off unnecessary explanations to others. He emphasizes the importance of creating value over seeking validation and commits to not showing his face until he becomes "dangerous". On December 27, 2022, he posted a short video that went viral, gaining 10 million views in 24 hours. This success was the result of six months of hard work and isolation. He shares how subsequent videos also went viral, leading to a significant increase in subscribers and overall views. Kadnar concludes by encouraging viewers to disappear, build, and return as transformed individuals.

0:00 29th June 2022 I was going home from my office and that dirty road of Pune was filled with monsoon water all around. I was on my old bike and suddenly I had to stop because the traffic signal turned red. I was just looking around when a BMW came passing by me at a very high speed. That car was going so fast that the dirty water from its tyres splashed directly on me and my entire clothes got spoiled. Now it is a very common thing for water to splash on you during rain. Especially if you ride a bike or walk on the side of the road and generally in such cases you either abuse the person in front of you or you blame your fate and go on your way. But I was so scared at that moment that I could not do either of them. That dirty water was dripping from my clothes. And at that particular moment, friend, I felt as if something had broken inside me. Now, whatever

0:45 happened next, I have not told anyone about it till date. That day I went to my home. Changed my clothes. I did not even eat food and I directly locked myself in my room and brother, I cannot tell you how much I cried at that time. Yes seriously, that 23 year old boy cried bitterly that day. Not because that water flew on me, but because I could n't understand what I was doing with my life. Look friend, I was doing a job which I myself did not like. Every day I would just wake up in the morning, go to the office, work, meet friends and come home and sleep. Now, before getting this job, I had tried my own startup with full enthusiasm. I had seen very big dreams that I will do this , I will do that. But in the end I failed. A lot of time was wasted. A lot of money was lost and every morning when I used to see my father going to the office, only one thing used to come to my mind that he has a 23 year old

1:31 son. Still he has to go to office every day at this age. One has to agree with whatever people say. One has to obey people. One has to work hard. And why all this? Because his son could not do anything in life. His friends always used to tell him that my son went to the US. My son has this much package , that much package. But my father always remained silent. They had nothing to talk about with me. After all what would he say that my son is still a struggler. That night I asked myself many questions whether I was taking wrong decisions? Am I just dreaming something that I will never be able to fulfill? Suppose tomorrow I go somewhere, will it make a difference to people ? If I go somewhere else, it will make a difference. This line hit me. And I decided what I am going to do next,

2:17 disappear and that too for literally 6 months, completely disappearing from social media, from friends, from the world, and I did it and the person who came back on 7th November 2022 was not me. He was someone else. Same face, same body but from inside he was completely different. The video shot on the date I am talking about is still present on my channel. If you want, you can go to the short section and see it. Now I will tell you what happened to me in those 6 months i.e. 180 days so that you can also change your life completely in the next 6 months. Now the only question is whether you have come just to hear another transformation story or do you want to genuinely disappear and rebuild your own life. Because whatever I am going to tell you next is not just a theory. These are the exact steps that I followed in those 180 days.

3:04 And if you seriously want to follow this routine then quickly like this video for the algorithm and play it at 1.25x for a better experience. Today I am going to tell you about four phases of my life. Number one, the breaking point. Where I will tell you what was going on in my mind that night. Second, The Disappearing Act. In this part I will tell you how I systematically created a procedure to rebuild myself. After that the third part is The Transformation Process. What was I doing in those 180 days? I will tell you the step by step process here. And lastly the comeback. When I came back on November 7th, I will cover in this part what changes happened in me. And at the end of the video I will give you a 30 day challenge that can change your life. So let's start with chapter number one the breaking point. Sometimes the most

3:50 productive thing you can do is to vanish. At that time one thing clicked in me that whatever I was doing in my life, it was not working. I am not moving forward in life. I am just stuck in one place. I am stuck at one place. So I decided that I would stop doing everything that was not aligned with my goals. Uninstalled Instagram, blocked distractions. I even told my close friends that please do not call me for a few days. And then I created a simple routine for myself. Used to wake up at 4:00 in the morning. Used to write scripts till 6:00 pm. After that I used to go to work. I would come back at night and shoot and this was the only thing that went on in a loop for weeks. Infact the first week I deleted my own personal Instagram account. So friend, for a second I felt like I was doing something wrong. There was too much FOMO happening. How can I see friends' stories? How will we know who is doing what ? To tell you the truth,

4:35 I found that first week very boring. What was there to do? There is nothing left in the phone. There was no entertainment of any kind in life. I would just sit in my room and look at the wall for hours. But slowly I felt that something was starting to happen. They say that when the external noise stops, then the internal voice starts becoming audible. For the first time in my life I was able to hear my thoughts and that too very clearly. To tell you the truth, this is a very strange type of feeling. When you stop everything like Instagram, WhatsApp, Netflix, friends' opinions, a kind of silence gets created around you and in that silence, your inner voice starts becoming clear. In a way, I used to be very confused earlier because I used to rely on external opinions every time. Papa was telling me to do a job, it will be secure. Friends were telling me to start the startup again and

5:21 take a big risk. And on top of that this social media was showing something else, do this, do that. But did I ever ask myself what I wanted to do ? And this is where the first step towards your disappearance comes. Question yourself. Who am I? What do I want to do? What do I want to become? These were the types of questions I never took seriously after school. And now when I had nothing to do, I asked myself this question every day. I am in the habit of not journaling. That's why I wrote down all these questions in my diary. I am now going to tell you the exact questions that I asked myself. Please note these down in a book and ask yourself these questions. First were The Identity Questions in which the first question was, what would I do in life if I didn’t have to impress anyone? After that the second question was, what did I want to become in my childhood

6:07 ? After that, the third question was whether there is anything that I do that I have no idea about time. After this come the purpose questions, suppose if I had unlimited money then what would I do? After that, what is it in the world that I want to contribute to? And number three is what is the problem that I want to solve in life. And then come the fear questions: what am I afraid to do in life? Where did this fear of what people will think come from? And what will happen if I fail again in life ? Now after asking all these questions to myself, I did the toughest part which is acceptance. I used to stand in front of the mirror and tell myself, friend, you are too fat, you are unfit. You always procrastinate and give excuses. You are not clear about your goals in life. You always live just for the validation of others. Do n't say all these things

6:53 from your heart while looking into your own eyes. When you say it loudly yourself then you will realize how painful it is to listen to it. But doing this is equally important. And one thing I knew was that no one else except me was ever going to tell me about this because they cared about me. But after doing this simple exercise, a kind of non- acceptance came inside me. And one thing hit me that unless you accept your current reality, you cannot change yourself. In order to correct your mistakes, you must first admit your mistake. After that comes chapter 2 of my story in November 2022. Man, if I am being honest, this was the most upcoming phase of my life. My body was kind of shutting down. Job during the day, travel for 2 hours , content at night and then waking up in the morning and planning again. Yes, by this time I had

7:38 started creating content. Yes, after understanding all the questions that I had asked myself, after listening to them, I started my content creation again. And in this phase, I used to get sleep only for 4 to 5 hours. All the people who have been watching me from a long time, they know how my eyes used to be earlier, just because of 4-5 hours of sleep. And after working so hard and making so many efforts, my videos were still getting only 300 to 400 views. And then after seeing those views I always used to think that friend, I have given up everything in life. Friends, social life and what am I getting in return ? 300 400 views. For this thing, I made such a big sacrifice in my life. But then after a few days I understood that this pain also teaches you something in life that whenever no one claps for you, then you should clap for yourself.

8:24 And this is what I did in my life. I made a kind of deal with myself that whether anyone sees me or not, I will become so sharp, make such great videos, become so undeniable that they will have no choice but to watch me. They will have to watch my videos. And this is where my actual systems started to build. And this is where your step number two is to build systems and not motivation. See, by that point so much time had passed that I had understood one thing very well that motivation is a wave. She comes, she goes. But these systems that you create are permanent. So at that point I stopped chasing this motivation and started building systems. Now my schedule had become more refined than before. I used to do deep work for 2 hours every single morning. No compromise. Even if the world comes to an end.

9:09 I will spend these 2 hours only on my content. Be it script writing, video planning, editing, whatever it is, I will do it all. After that body resets i.e. workouts. No excuses for at least one hour a day. Because I understood that if my physical health remains poor, I will never have mental clarity. And without this clarity, your work never turns out well. After that one more thing came into the routine which is one book every two weeks. Be it psychology, business or mindset. I was kind of very hungry for knowledge. And at that time I didn't even have any mentors. So whatever book I could find on the road at a cheap price, I used to bring it home and whenever I got time, I used to read it. In fact, when you see the views of my books which have 6-7 lakh views, that knowledge is actually from that time and I have not forgotten till date the lessons that I learnt at that time. Then came content

9:56 monetization. This content that you see today, I have studied like crazy about how to create content, how to increase retention, how to edit well and at that time I had so many things that I used to do everything myself. Let me tell you an incident. In November, I was sitting in my room editing videos. It must have been almost around 2:00 at night. And suddenly I realized that while I was sitting there and editing, a slight smile was coming on my face. Now why did this happen? Because I could see that my editing skills had improved a lot compared to before. My thumbnails have become much better and my scripts have become more engaging. The views may have been the same. There was no change in the views. But that realization that what kind of results were coming when I started and what kind of results are coming now. I was very happy to see that simple thing.

10:42 And these realizations were kind of a game changer. Because I realized that transformation is never external. It always happens internally. And when you become completely strong internally, then external results will follow you. And then slowly things started changing which brings me to chapter number three December 2022. A strange shift happened inside me in December. Let me tell you an incident. My college friend called me at that time and asked, “ Friend, what are you doing?” We are all meeting. You also come to meet me. So at first I had refused my friends. But after some time he started calling again and again. And at that time I used to explain too much. I used to say sorry friend, I will not be able to come. Because of so and so reasons. But on that December day I just said that I can't come. That is all. No explanation. Now that friend was completely confused as to what had happened? Why can't I come

11:28 ? What are you doing in such an important life? I said nothing, I just can't come. And I directly cut the call. People might have thought that this was some kind of coldness on my part. But this was not coldness. Whenever I look back at this incident, I feel that this was a kind of clarity that had come inside me. I understood that there was no need for explanation. Whenever you are clear on your path, you never justify. Your focus is only on your work and you focus only on executing it. Thus, I started evolving. My scripts started becoming hits. My editing skills had gone to the next level. I would watch every video and analyse it frame by frame to see what was working and what was not working. But a bigger change than all this had come in my mindset. Earlier I used to learn a lot about validation but now I have started creating value. Earlier I always tried to impress everyone

12:14 and now I was trying to impress with my videos. And here comes step number three of your transformation: Don’t come back until you are dangerous. I still remember I told myself not to show my face to people until I become something. And this commitment, friend, came as a kind of catalyst in this process. Every morning I would wake up, look in the mirror and always ask myself, am I ready? Am I undeniable? If there was no answer, which happened most of the time, then I would go back and start doing my work. In fact, if you go and watch my first video, I am not even talking directly to the camera. There was so much camera fear in me. After that I started practicing talking while looking at the camera. Started practicing expressions. I had become a perfectionist to some extent. I wanted perfection in everything. And then comes

12:59 December 27, 2022. That day that changed my entire life. Whatever I had learnt in the last 6 months, it all got refined and put into that video of that day. On this day, I have posted that short video because of which I am sitting here in front of you today. The one that all of you have seen. And that video got 10 million views and that too in just 24 hours. People thought it was decay. It was an overnight success. But brother, this was in a way the hard work of those 6 months of mine. There were six months when I completely isolated myself in my life. I was just sitting in my room and refreshing the views again and again because I couldn't believe it. 500 views gone in the first few seconds. Then 1000 went. Then 2000, then 5000 and the numbers kept increasing. Comments were coming continuously, notifications were coming asking brother where were you? Bro i saw your old videos. You make amazing videos.

13:46 I just subscribed to you. That one night changed my entire life. Like I said, 10 million views and 150 subscribers in 24 hours and all this from just one video. Look, by the afternoon of the second day I had crossed 100. Now after seeing this my friend called me and said that brother, I will bring a cake worth Rs 100 to your house in the evening. You are doing great brother. Just maintain consistency. Now I am sitting here smiling because I knew that maintaining consistency is not a problem for me. I was consistent for the last 180 days. The only thing was that no one was watching at that time and today everyone is watching. By evening I posted another video and it was another viral hit. This time it had reached 22 million views and the subscriber base had crossed 200 K. That friend did not call back and said that it has gone up to Rs 200. Now I will

14:34 write and bring it for Rs. 200. I said okay. By the time that friend came to my house at night, I had reached 300 and his face was worth seeing. From 2,000 subscribers and a few thousand views, straight to an overall 32 million views and 300K subscribers in 2 days. This was the result of those 6 months of hard work. Look, I have never told this story of mine on my channel. And there is only one reason for telling this today that I do not have any brothers or sisters. But lakhs of you people consider me your elder brother. And being an elder brother, what you have to do and what you should not do in your life ahead. It is my duty to tell this. So if you are feeling lost in life right now then I can understand. I too have suffered the same pain. I too have spent hours staring at the wall, wondering what the hell I am doing with my life. I have also seen how it feels when tears mix with rain. I am

15:21 telling you the truth, the journey from the dirty water flying from the car falling on me till today was not that easy. Staying alone for 180 days and stopping explaining to people. Having faith in yourself when no one else did. This was the toughest part. But I want to make you a promise today. If you have the ability to find yourself in this solitude, then all your dreams that you have ever seen can come true. So disappear build and only then return back. And when you come back people won't ask where you were? People will ask how did you do this? Even today I thank that 23 year old boy who sat alone in that room and cried. Because if he had given up that day then this person would not exist in front of you today. Look, transformation is definitely painful. It's too scary to disappear. But friend, you cannot even imagine what you can become by doing this simple thing.

16:07 You won't be perfect but you will definitely be different, dangerous and unrecognizable. I have put the detailed PDF of what you have to do in the first 30 days in the description below. You can go there, download and read it. And if this video hits you deeply anywhere, please do comment. And just disappear. We will meet again after 6 months. Till then keep learning, keep hustling and as always keep inspiring.
