Kathryn Krick Teaches There Are Three Anointings?!?

Brief Summary

The video critiques Catherine's teachings on the Holy Spirit, arguing that her concepts of multiple indwellings and anointings lack scriptural support. It emphasizes that the Holy Spirit enters a believer once at salvation and remains, contrasting this with Catherine's view that believers can receive additional measures or indwellings of the Holy Spirit through seeking God. The video asserts that Catherine's teachings are based on personal opinion rather than biblical truth, potentially misleading her followers.

  • Catherine's teaching about multiple indwellings of the Holy Spirit is unbiblical.
  • The Holy Spirit enters a believer once at salvation and remains.
  • Catherine's teachings are based on personal opinion rather than biblical truth.

Introduction

The video starts by addressing Catherine's teachings, which the speaker believes contradict scripture. The speaker claims that Catherine uses personal opinions instead of biblical references, suggesting she is neither an apostle nor a qualified biblical teacher.

The Initial Indwelling of the Holy Spirit

The speaker states that the Holy Spirit enters a person's life immediately when they give their life to Jesus and confess him as Lord and Savior. This initial indwelling is a key point of contention, as the speaker argues against the idea of subsequent indwellings.

The False Concept of a Second Indwelling

The speaker challenges Catherine's idea of a second indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which she describes as the Holy Spirit coming in fire. The speaker questions how a second indwelling is possible if the Holy Spirit never leaves a believer. He interprets the "fire" as judgment for unbelievers, contrasting it with the Holy Spirit received by believers. Catherine's association of this second indwelling with speaking in tongues is also refuted, as the speaker argues that scripture doesn't mandate this for all believers.

The Myth of a Third Indwelling: The Anointing

The speaker ridicules Catherine's concept of a third indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which she identifies as the anointing. He points out the contradiction in Catherine's teachings, as she initially stated that the anointing of the Holy Spirit is received at salvation. The speaker refutes Catherine's claim that this anointing is specifically for ministry and performing miracles, asserting that the Holy Spirit dwells in a believer once they are saved and remains with them.

Critique of Catherine's Understanding of the Holy Spirit

The speaker criticizes Catherine's statement that those who believe everyone has the anointing do not understand the Holy Spirit. He finds it ironic that Catherine accuses others of misunderstanding when she herself is allegedly twisting scripture without providing biblical support. The speaker reiterates that scripture indicates we receive the Holy Spirit when we're saved and that we all have this anointing, and there are no verses that say we can get more of the Holy Spirit.

Conclusion

The speaker concludes by expressing hope that the video has exposed the unbiblical nature of Catherine's teachings to her followers. He encourages viewers to leave comments and reiterates his message of caution against false teachings.

0:00 [Music] Hey everybody, Sean here and welcome to Revealing Truth. And special thanks to Carrie Merurl for sharing this. I know we often say that things can't get any worse and then sadly we're proven wrong again and again. And today is yet another example of this happening. While Catherine seems to be trying to counter what I've said in other videos, yet she's using opinion rather than scripture. And this shows yet again that Catherine is not an apostle and not qualified as a biblical teacher as well. When you give your life to Jesus and he becomes your Lord and Savior, immediately when you make that decision, when you speak it with your mouth, the

0:46 Holy Spirit enters your life. And if we stopped right here, we'd be pretty good. But this goes downhill quickly. There's a second indwelling of the Holy Spirit when the Holy Spirit comes in fire. Here's an honest question. How can there be a second indwelling? I mean, when the Holy Spirit enters a believer, we're told that he'll never leave. So, how can he indwell us a second time if he's already in us? He can't. And to make a long story short, the fire being described is judgment. John was speaking to a crowd of believers and unbelievers. Believers receive the Holy Spirit when they believe. And unbelievers will receive judgment in the end for their unbelief. There's a second indwelling of

1:33 the Holy Spirit when the Holy Spirit comes in fire. And the help of the fire is something different. The help of the fire is something different. She says that, but the Bible doesn't, which is why she isn't quoting any scripture. And somehow this turns into speaking in tonesues. So speaking in tonesues comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that second indwelling of the Holy Spirit. But once again, there's no scripture that says people will speak in tonesues after they receive the Holy Spirit. This happened for a reason on Pentecost and then afterwards with the Gentiles as well. But scripture doesn't say this will happen to everyone that gets saved. And how can there even be a second dwelling? The Holy Spirit either

2:18 dwells in someone or he doesn't. So speaking in tongues comes from the baptism of the Holy Spirit. That second indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This is a gift and a tool that God has given you to fan into flame your spirit man to help you become more spiritual, less carnal. It's for your personal spiritual life. But there's a third indwelling of the Holy Spirit. A third dwelling? Well, this is a first. Grab the popcorn, folks, cuz this is going to go off. But there's a third indwelling of the Holy Spirit that God wants every believer to have, and that's the anointing. But didn't she say that we get the anointing of the Holy Spirit when someone gets saved at the start? When you give your life to Jesus and he becomes your Lord and Savior immediately when you make

3:03 that decision, when you speak it with your mouth, the Holy Spirit enters your life. I'm so confused. But there's a third indwelling of the Holy Spirit that God wants every believer to have, and that's the anointing. But the anointing is not for yourself. It's for others. It's for ministry. When we say the anointing, we mean the Holy Spirit. But we mean specifically the Holy Spirit moving in power to heal, deliver, do miracles. The Holy Spirit moving in power in a vessel whom he has anointed, who he has trusted. As the vessel walks in their authority in Christ, lays hands on the sick, commands demons to go, commands sicknesses to go, speaks prophetically, that measure of the Holy Spirit, the anointing moves through the vessel and touches people. This is crazy talk. The Holy Spirit enters someone once they're saved and remains in that person. Walking in signs and wonders

3:49 isn't a third anointing because it's the same Holy Spirit. She's talking 100% man-made lies, which is once again why she isn't quoting any Bible verses. And then she says this. So, a lot of people say everybody has the anointing, but it's that they don't understand the Holy Spirit. It's ironic that she says we don't understand the Holy Spirit when she's the one twisting God's word to mean something it doesn't and can't even provide scripture to support it. So, a lot of people say everybody has the anointing, but it's that they don't understand the Holy Spirit, the measures of the Holy Spirit, that there's more. Not everyone has all of these indwellings of the Holy Spirit. Because in order to find God in his fullness,

4:35 you have to seek him with all your heart. He sees your heart. He sees that you're truly seeking him. And so then he will reveal more of himself to you and fill you with more. And that, my friends, was probably the worst teaching on the anointing that Catherine or anyone has ever taught. As scripture says, we receive the Holy Spirit when we're saved and that we all have this anointing. And there's lots of other verses that show this as well. But there are no verses that say we can get more of the Holy Spirit or as Katherine and others say, more of the anointing. And this is why you hear people howling their usual, "More, Lord, more." Anyhow, if you're a follower of

5:21 Katherine, I really hope this short video has shown you the unbiblical madness she's preaching. And with that being said, we're going to leave it here for today. So, leave your comments below. And until next time, take care and God bless.
