0:00 hi friends its Michelle here from seaweed kisses and today I wanted to share with you a question that I get asked frequently especially now that the new camel color is out for the travelers notebook and I've been always asked which is my favorite color between the two well there's actually four colors the travelers notebook has the blue the black but brown and the camel but these are the two that I currently own so it's really really hard because before the travelers notebook came out with the
0:46 camel just a few weeks ago I was really really obsessed with the camel I really really wanted this color in the regular size I already had the passport size but because this was the travelers star Edition for the fifth anniversary they stopped making it and it was really hard to get a hold of this color so at the time I was using this for travels and I absolutely love this color so I couldn't wait for the regular color to come out so in the meantime while I was waiting for watch I didn't know they're coming out with a camel but I was just slowly bonding if you will bonding with my brown color so a few things I've noticed
1:33 over the the last few months and especially now that I have the camel color and regular size I actually love both the colors just as equally and for different purposes so I realized by having the the camel color in the traveler size because they no longer made it and because this color is obviously lighter than the brown I found myself really babying and pampering this camel notebook because it scratches easier which is nice because you can see all of the scratches in the err on it which makes it really beautiful and adds to the you know the
2:19 patina of the leather and the character but also because it's lighter I was so afraid that I would sit it down on a dining table get it stained when I was traveling I would make sure it was like in between brochures and paper so that way it wasn't getting scuffed I was scared to get water on it if it was raining like I definitely took care of this you know it is a traveler's notebook and the reason why I purchased it was to take advantage of the you know the the capabilities and the durability of using it for just everyday wear and tear and throwing around but I was super careful with this now the brown travelers notebook in the passport size
3:04 I realize that because it's darker I use this a lot more I don't say aggressively but I just did not care I just like chucked it around I place it wherever and it just has like a beautiful shine now there are no stains that I can see but it's just so beautiful I just I feel like because I handled this more and I wasn't as careful it came out better so I guess to quickly answer the question between both of these colors I like them for different purposes so now that I have the camel color in the regular size notebook I took this to
3:52 Laughlin right and it already started giving scuffed up in my purse which is nice because I am NOT you know being extra careful with this like now that they the travelers notebook line carries is color on a regular basis I just kind of you know use it however I need to but I think this is going to be more as my like ephemera holder I'm not going to use it when I like probably out and about traveling I guess could say it's just gonna hold all of my receipts and paper goods at the end of
4:37 the day but I'll probably using this one if you have watched my previous videos you may remember that as a challenge I was using the regular size as an everyday planner and that's worked out really well since then I've actually condensed it and downsize it to my passport size which I'll link that video below if you're interested to see my flip through but with this I don't know guys I actually like really bonded with my brown color it's just so beautiful the scratches are really really nice and because it's dark I I realize I'm not as afraid to get it dirty or throw it around or take it outside
