0:46 lists you guys know throughout the entirety of this we've had moments we've all disagreed said what movie belongs higher than another one movie shouldn't be as high as it is will destiny the axis stay in everybody's top five probably not boring the this isn't on my personal list montage um will smell the unknown drop down to number 25 unknown yes number 25 baby that's where i put it um but yeah so we're gonna do this probably shorter than a typical podcast there'll be discussion in between but primarily it'll be us being like here's my 25 we all have a document that shows the 25 list and then i'll make the graphic for everybody so you'll see that as well um but yeah i guess if does anyone want to start i can start just get it running

2:19 of destruction number 12 arceus and the jewel of life number 11 pokemon 2000 number 10 pokemon heroes number nine pokemon the first movie number eight spell of the unknown number seven destiny deoxys number six guaranteed in the sky warrior number five detective pikachu number four dark cry uh rise and dark the rise of dark cry number three hoopa in the clash of ages number two pokemon i choose you and number one pokemon the secrets of the jungle there you have it perfect um anybody want to call it can i out on things i mean as i look at the list i mean i think 2000 got some more respect on that name i like it for how much uh and this goes for almost everybody for how much you

3:04 guys defended kiron versus sword justice i thought that movie was that he could polish it uh and everybody fought me on it that's the first time that like i saw i was like wow people really like that piece of [ __ ] it's pretty low on everybody's almost everybody's list for how much you for the hill that you guys decided to die on i guess you didn't die i was still on diet it was 401 but yeah that's it that's not calling anybody up to say you just have to remember that like a lot of the ones we thought it was better than were movies that were higher than movies that were earlier that were better that i think we all experienced i think no no for me it's not it was the argument when i was like every time i said like oh i hated this that someone's like that's what made the movie good i was like so

3:55 that is exactly where we have it on our current group list is number 17 so yeah it's not i guess not out of hat i think mine is mine's might be high it was higher than that when it when we watched it obviously there were like eight or nine movies that came after it right so it was probably like number 12 or something at that point it's not higher um yeah no surprise after this past week so i built this list in watching uh secret of the jungle so like at the same time to see it the three of you give me a list so it's like number one or yeah it belongs up here so i was like okay yep i see where that belongs uh good to see darker eye still the top five you know pulling for it uh jenna's like surprisingly low i don't know if you

4:41 want to rethink that one quick or yeah he could everybody as much as they shot talk lucario same with like master revolution master revolutions i didn't really get but i could acknowledge it as an enjoyable movie yeah i still liked it that's all with a massive confusion it's lucario yeah yeah that was the one where i got called in the middle of that sounds like a nice little reunion i don't think you were here for it but i explained i explained to john because john was saying that was like and i was like oh john black and white's like lucario and he was like what i was like they have the magical thing that shows them the past it's about like a kingdom with a pokemon that helped run it and then it was like attached to like

5:27 a very important figure who then dies but the pokemon stays alive and helps guide them back to the thing and there's literally a whole plot about them like going to a significant monument who could like change the thing and like [ __ ] with energy and he's like hmm i was talking about illusion yeah he sat here he was like i might have been i might have been here for that actually and it like broke and he was like well [ __ ] yeah he was like i'm still thinking about the that comparison was the tall standing furry pokemon that everybody liked yeah and then he's just like no black and white like the plot's identical was like well okay i just started agreeing i was like yeah you're right all right but i'm just saying lucario didn't have a shiny goal lurk so it's a time so i think we need to move it now depending on the movie the other movie didn't happen

6:15 either that's protected um it's just interesting because i expected like all of us or most of us to have like the same bottom three and i can see that black and white scooted here number four and you threw temple of the sea down there temple is he's boring his father but kyogre yeah for the last 10 seconds don't even get me started on the sea spaghetti again there are two kinds of people in the world people who prefer giant flying swords than people who like see spaghetti whales 2000 oh [ __ ] although rcs is insane for me but i also didn't like 2 000 as much i didn't like arceus that much rcs was my least favorite of those three yeah um

7:02 and it's mostly because it feels like arceus was shoved in there for the sake of having arceus in that trilogy like he like all three of them are fighting and it makes sense and then arceus just shows up and he's like shut the [ __ ] up where's my human and like that's about it and then they go back in time i need damos and tylenol oh man let me see destiny it's it's high i remember you were the one who convinced chris and i to move destiny convinced you went why did you have it at your number one i said okay here's my reasoning you both went yeah that's the time that john got all crazy i'm like what's up

7:48 and then i gave you that power and what'd you do refused to use it funny yeah you could have gotten you could have gotten uh i don't know you could have made arceus number one if you could have convinced me with kaiju fights like yeah we got more kaiju fights in a better movie clash of eight just makes sense i know you loved i choose you so that was your number one and then secrets of the jungle took over yes so i have to figure out an overlay for this to keep this list currently on the screen while it's also us i'll figure something out those are those everybody's everyone's pretty far you can put the list like right on their chest to go i think usually there's a lot of headspace though so i have to see where we'll figure like this thing where if i really like a movie i will like obsess over it and watch it like several times in like a day or even a week yeah with backdoor

8:36 [ __ ] oh nice nice okay uh i'll do that family show damn i'll do that just to like make sure i absorb like all of the knowledge from the movie again i did that with scott pilgrim i did it with like eight crazy nights comedy movies yeah like i watched the hangover like a million times to a point where like i memorize it and people get annoyed because i start quoting it mine was uh medea's or tyler perry is what's done in the dark but uh yeah secrets of the jungle and i choose you are two of those movies and that that like for sure set them at my respective one position when i watch them i was like i could watch i choose you so [ __ ] much because it could just be good background money the same with cigarettes anybody else have things that pawn can eyes list nice pretty very small christ my thing's zoomed in like 500 see anything that's crazily

9:23 out of anywhere i do think it's funny the first episode i was on here you were like can i we did this cool little fun intro where we're like what's your favorite movie before going into this yeah and i said forever that's true i didn't think about it and i was like i was like yeah dude forever like if i remember it correctly it was a good ass movie and then like we watched it and i think literally the first thing he did is he went so can i what did you think of forever and i was like that's way worse than i remember really that's my problem that was my problem with a lot of these movies it's like some of them i remember being worse and then i watched them like oh they're not that bad yeah but then the ones that i thought were good which was the whole me sweating the whole time when dark riot was coming up he's like well i've been hyping this up and like i've been talking about this movie being like the next coming jesus into the ass and then i watched it i was like okay i

12:28 jungle monkey yeah whoa had an epic idea yeah i get that yeah i'm surprised volcanion is actually as high as it is on your list and if i had to switch to movies i'll do maybe nine and ten i'm going to switch because i'm not that high first person okay i think the first movie had a good meaning and that's it i think overall the movie's not that good i just think that because it was the first movie and we like it that we hold it at a higher standard yeah because we had volcanion at 14 and you have it at seven so you like volcanic more than the group apparently agreed on it i'd like i like canadian a lot so much more than ladies and gents uh yeah that's surprising to me i choose you was very low

13:13 i thought yeah so the thing is i just use a good movie and i even said that that it's a good movie i just didn't like the premise right with the universe uh you were saying about uh ladies dante uh i just i i thought generally everybody had a like crazy pretty positive remarks on heroes yeah uh when we got to that movie and it's a little low not too much lower it's still in the top tens i'm from what i'm seeing but it's still a little lower than what i was experiencing wait i think for uh so after adding everything else in group vote uh heroes fell at number 11. speaking of which if you want to know the list from any other movie go back and watch the last podcast and take a screenshot i i've read the last 25 for the last um

15:30 strikes back on your list uh like original strikes back yeah it's number nine is that his first move number nine after you talked about the first uh with the the mewtwo movies being at the end of the of your list i'm surprised actually that first movie is still in your top 10. i'm willing to change it with secret the jungle oh is that what you were saying yeah i'm going to change it i like the first one a lot i think we all do and we always will like that movie but i think that we hope we hold it to a higher standard because one it's the introduction of youtube to um it was the first movie and it has a good message but i don't think the movie's actually good like watching it the second time i was like this is [ __ ] boring and i was playing i was playing games on my phone while watching there's got to be something that works with it if we constantly keep seeing i just think it's remade in certain ways

16:16 and referenced molded around for detective i think it's just like like i said a lot early on in the podcast i think it's just a source of nostalgia yeah that's what i think that i'm saying and like i'm willing to leave it in the top ten uh maybe there's a movie here that i didn't pay enough attention or something and i was not definitely i'm willing to like bunk it down but like i generally like if they keep the formula they did for the last shared universe whatever i can see this list in the first movie going down along with some of my favorites like uh i can see from number three from detective down going down if the next movies are yeah just as good with the theme that's the beautiful thing about being human is that we have opinions that concepts they

17:50 think our overall list and i just really can't pull out of my mind anything redeemable about you know draw 24 jaracha wishmaker surprisingly i went back on my word and in a podcast earlier and i said jirachi was going to be a middle point no the this i i the best part about this movie is its ending theme song yo this guy has youtube returns i think the intro is really good with the carnival i think that's very pretty yeah um you two returns um surprisingly not last at this list um i think it's a very memeable movie and maybe it's hard to put on the list of other movies because it's kind of short yeah mewtwo strikes back evolution surprisingly lower than what i initially thought then i kind of took what can i said in consideration because mewtwo

18:36 strikes back exists um so it's kind of here uh this is gonna be the big one giratina and the sky warrior way lower than everybody else has um i just i don't dig this movie and maybe it's just because i watched it at a bad time and i need to watch it again whatever the case may be i just think there's a lot of traveling that doesn't really amount to nothing i would have preferred a movie just with giratina and the reverse world itself um okay i would have enjoyed that temple to see i do want to point out you just said that movie there's a lot of traveling to ghost though i know i know you bring up you bring up the lucario thing but i think no no no i'm bringing up temple of the sea the one that's directly above it dante understands kyogre here's the

19:22 thing i enjoyed uh the relationship between may and manafort and that's kind of what but they stop and go swimming like eight times yes if you want to talk about traveling this one [ __ ] lucaria this one has a very long like hour long traveling uh 19 legend awakened um cool battle stuff in this movie which kind of pushes it here otherwise though very forgettable and i don't like the fact here you're in space this is the world we're friends um number eighteen destiny deoxes uh cool really cool seismic toss in the movie this side of paradise everything else i don't necessarily like how it all kind of wraps up in the end

20:07 reflector metagross yeah um despite the fact that we proved it on video i still don't like how the movie ended with a card flick uh hoopa really cool like battles with other pokemon generally uh i'm not sure if i care for the overall plot 2000 uh one of the 16. one of the movies that i kind of left the sour taste in my mouth out of the first three trilogy because i thought i'd like it more um yeah i'm sorry two thousand uh forever enjoyed it a little bit more than two thousand but not much better uh swords of justice relatively overall average pokemon movie not not too and not anything too crazy about it that i hated not anything i really liked uh joel of life a little

21:41 pretty awesome uh cocoon and destruction not not bad movie not not a not a good movie kind of social he built all kills family yeah yeah the coolest thing and it took a little while to go um volcanion right adorable movie uh unfortunately not in the top 10. detective pikachu in my top pen um like danny brought it up briefly like sometimes this movie may be considered a different beast because it's live action um i just generally thought like a lot of the serious stuff i couldn't take seriously but a lot of the comedy was on point so um and also a lot of stuff shoehorned in at the end uh i choose you fantastic sailor movie everything in my top ten is like pretty damn good um the only thing i could really fault about i choose you is uh

22:27 shadow felt a little weird at the end um not really sure what that amounted to power of us uh this is actually higher than what i think a lot of other people have power of us but i genuinely enjoy the character interactions of this movie um the kid is probably the weaker one of all the characters the first movie this is one i debated with i actually thought i had this at my uh as nine at first and then i kind of put back up here because i generally enjoy the movie and the feels it gives me with brother my brother and a lot of other stuff uh heroes six um solid movie absolutely solid movie uh the villains are a little weird at the end because it kind of amounts to i'm gonna kill everybody now how'd you get there uh lucario and the mystery mew i think this is a lot higher than other folks as well number five um generally enjoyed the sacrifice

23:14 though with lucario and in my opinion still one of the best moving movies like in terms of animation um we have a lot of good ones now but in my opinion really really good looking movie despite the fact that it's an older one uh number four rise darkrai there's not really much i can complain about in the end here i i nitpicked like smaller stuff at the end spell the unknown yay surprisingly it's not my first in my my number one the third movie yeah the third movie probably the third spot you're supposed to put them in release order dante i just love how like there's a lot of symbolism in this movie and just uh an unusual antagonist and it's not really an evil person per se this is

24:01 kind of misguided uh master of illusions i love the payoff of this movie in terms of kodai and and the illusion bracelet getting busted we actually see the illusion happening and we think kodai is one but then it all gets reverted by uh smiles or i really enjoy this movie a lot and secret of the jungle i don't need to explain this stellar movie go to the last podcast you want next yeah should go i had this whole thing lined up if you're like i really didn't like secrets i was going to be like okay so you like jumanji more than [ __ ] disney's tarzan great i was lined up to just start like throwing [ __ ] at you i was i was so happy when you were like a great movie i'm sure we could all agree that this is a very dante list smell the unknown again i expect that at least number two but top three yeah i

30:57 i think that's correct so far oh yeah so i saw darkrai and i was like why is gertina and then i like as i kept going into this i'm like why is because like i enjoyed darkrai it's just like in terms of just like there's other things about other movies i would watch over that one did you and and here you have uh master revolutions before so you like the karios movie more than last revolution uh yes because that one had more of there was more of a plot to follow that made sense to me okay like zoroark like that plot is

31:43 completely undone by the main antagonist and he frustrated me to the end like i i do not enjoy them i'm just saying lucario had a hundred percent less pokemon blocker so it had a hundred percent less pokemon bocker but it also had nice lucario opening scene very happy also had a hot hell of opera reggie's in it though it's the reggie ptsd man uh i think i think he just all just stands up yeah there's a couple of movies here so the reason your list triggered me is because temple to see it's a lot higher than spell don't know jewel of life master evolution yeah there's four movies that i was like
