00 important for your viewers to know. The British royal family is extremely powerful. They're not just these people who put on fancy clothes for state occasions. They have serious power, uh a lot of control over sections of the media. If you dare to stand up against them as Diana did, forget me, as Diana did, they will try and obliterate you. >> Welcome back, chums. As ever, thank you so much for taking the time out to join me. Apparently, His Majesty the King is aggressive. Yes, we're talking, of course, about our our king, King Charles. And as many people know who watch our show on a regular basis, we all have a temper, right? We all get angry with things, whether it be the fact that the bus comes sailing past, or in the case of His Majesty, on the world stage, and you know I love this story,
46 chums, but on the world stage, and this was, you know, backed up to me by Major Johnny, that there was a total embarrassment when the king got called out with a leaky pen. Remember, this is a very important document signing. Everybody's looking at you, the world's, and suddenly the pen decides to give in on that important moment. And as I've said, I just love If you watch the video, I just love the smile of the way that Queen Camilla, our queen consort, just definitely deals with this situation, meanwhile definitely holding in something of a form of laughter. And the reason why I highlight that is, ultimately, you know, as I said, we all have our moments. And what's interesting about this latest ramshackly media tour that's coming from Charles Spencer, the
32 brother of Diana. Well, apparently now he believes that His Majesty responded incorrectly. Now, I don't know about you, but if somebody accused me of those things, inflammatory things, across the world, in print, what I'm supposed to sit back and say, "Now, as many of the chums know who watches us say our show on a regular basis, this is an unprecedented move really by Buckingham Palace, because it isn't the sort of thing that they would normally do. So, you can understand why inflamed he was. As I've told you on our show also, I personally if I'd have been in that position, would have said let it go in many respects because it brushed over. And it brushed over very quickly because there was another glaring omission simply because then we saw the problem
17 with the journalist, which is a completely different story. What's interesting though is the way that and this is the thing that's going on behind the scenes. And this is why I love our channel. I often say to share things like this with you. You see, behind the scenes Penguin Random House know they've got a dot. Now, what's interesting is they put out these big things of the fastest selling book. But but we had all of that, remember, with Harry's. And if it was such the fastest selling book, why then didn't you want to go and promote the paperback edition? You know, if you had that much power, that much lolly coming into the business, you would be able to say, "Here's an extra this. Get out and do some publicity." What you notice, and this is the way the mainstream media suck up to this particular idea. There are no details in
03 the headlines. Like it doesn't fast say 872,000 hardback copies at full price got sold via X in this particular country. What they do is give you detail about the fact that it's an audio book, it's in X amount of languages. You know what I'm saying. It just goes on and on. Always look if you see a headline, chums, and think, "Let me Is Right. Hang on a minute." And this of course is to deflect away from the disaster that has been Charles Spencer's, you know, shall we say, move into the world of publishing. What's interesting is you don't know this that happened literally 2 hours before it was all meant to. Let me explain. Morning, as I say, chums, welcome back. Many of you like this particular view, so I thought I'd come back here again and show it off. It is lovely. As I said, the sun's gone in now, but it is lovely because, as I
50 said, I look at this. It If you think like I do, I'm sure many of the chums do, reminds me a bit of Eaton Place, 165 Upstairs, Downstairs, Downton. It's that sort of place, isn't it? You can imagine everybody would have been talking away in their servants' quarters, all of that sort of stuff. I love areas like this of London. Radically changed now, I have to say. Different wells, very rarely hear your own language, you know what I mean? But [laughter] you do sort of think to yourself what money there must have been when these great architects built it. Of course, ancestry and, you know, higher status, well, we're talking obviously Charles Spencer. He's reiterated this on a number of occasions. And I think what's also interesting when you listen to the way that he speaks, it is, of
35 course, with a wonderful accent. And of course, he's managed to work in many intrusive stories regarding the late Diana. You know, the thing about how could she be the first lady and all this. It's just tacky stories that really I just think dent an image. Now, we all know Diana's story, many of you know I feel very strongly about the Martin Bashir stuff. But you know, it's just terrible, isn't it? I love the fact that the Prince of Wales, Prince William, is just keeping well out of it, respectful of his mother's memory, realizes exactly what the public they know what they need to know. It's now his time to carry on living through what she left him, wonderful genes, let's be honest. And then, of course, you know, what he's doing, which is the work that she started with a lot of things like the homelessness and all those sort of
21 charities like that. Charles Spencer, though, in my opinion, is trying to aggravate the king into yet another fight back. This proved great for the book. You know, instantly this was worldwide publicity just on the day of the serialization. But here's the thing, right? He was supposed to appear on a leading US news channel. For legal reasons, I'm not allowed to say, but I think you know which one. And everything was set, right? And uh everything was put to place. Now, remember, he's appeared on quite a few so far. Um what's interesting is, you know, the CBS the soft focus interview with the likes of Gayle King, very much a Harry and Meghan cheerleader, that sort of stuff, popping up on Entertainment Tonight. Worked with Entertainment Tonight, lovely bunch of people. Their remit is
06 to be as soft as possible. This man, Kevin, lovely guy, but, you know, never going to challenge you. And what was interesting was, you know, there was no challenge. There were no challenging It very much was leaned into him. This particular interview that Charles decided to abandon at the 11th hour, well, they could not get tapped down the agreement of the questions because that particular interview is ferocious, very much a leading reporter on the British monarchy and has done so for 30 years, highly respected journalist. And you see how this pattern goes now, right? So, softy people like Entertainment Tonight quite willing to sit down with them because ultimately there was no challenging questions. Never once was it brought up about the legal action from
51 the journalist or anything like that. It was all very much like, "Oh, you know, the king, I don't know why he's taking this stance. I'm telling the truth." They were willing to go along and reiterate the story. You get the picture. But here's the bit at the end of the interview where the interviewer finally plucks up some courage and says, "Many people are suggesting you're writing the book because of monetary and all of this sort of stuff." And then Charles responds in this way. Now, what's interesting about that particular response, Charles, is simply this. Uh that's his prerogative. He is an incredibly wealthy person and, you know, he's had quite an illustrious um background, shall we say, with relationships, all that sort of stuff. Now, I'm not say suggesting for one moment he needs any money. But then if this is not the case and he's not doing
38 it for the money, can we then expect Charles Spencer to be donating all of the very much if we're supposed to be believing profits from this excellent selling book, perhaps to a Diana charity, perhaps, you know, handing it over to Prince William, given the fact that now he's made his position very difficult moving forward attacking what will be Prince William's monarchy. And likewise, what's interesting is, as I said, if there's so much money and you don't you're not doing it for the money, then why on earth are all these restoration phones? Why are people being charged to go and see the final resting place of one of our most beloved, in my opinion, icons of the last century. It just You know what I mean? Again, what you have to ask the question is,
24 truly, who is telling the truth? Nobody knows about this particular conversation, and as I pointed out in a previous video on our channel yesterday, you know, Barbara Walters told me her version of events, Larry King told me their version of events. It's very interesting that the two people that are still in existence only remain to be Charles Spencer and His Majesty the King. I think the King has made his feelings incredibly clear and crystal. Meanwhile, Charles Spencer is ignoring that, and then, as many people are suggesting, simply plowing on to sell a book for apparently the lolly he doesn't need. Now, which side of the fence, truly, do you sit on? And given the fact he pulled out of a major interview 2 hours before because, again, allegedly,
10 he couldn't get his own way question-wise. New show in the very heart of London.
