Brief Summary

This video discusses the importance of having the right people in our lives to support our God-given missions, using the meeting of Moses and Aaron as a key example. God understands our insecurities and limitations, and therefore connects us with others who can provide encouragement, security, and help us achieve our full potential. These individuals, like Aaron for Moses, Barnabas for Paul, and John the Baptist for Jesus, are essential for fulfilling our purpose.

  • God connects us with the right people to overcome insecurities and limitations.
  • Sharing your dreams and ambitions with the right person can be a blessing.
  • Identifying and receiving these helpers is crucial for accomplishing our mission.

Moses and Aaron's Meeting in the Wilderness

The video starts by referencing Exodus 4:27-28, where God instructs Aaron to meet Moses in the wilderness. Moses, who was rejected by both the Egyptians and the Hebrews, harbored fears about acceptance. To address this, God sent Aaron, Moses's older brother, someone Moses could trust and accept without feeling threatened. God spoke to both Aaron and Moses around the same time, preparing them individually for their joint mission.

The Importance of Divine Connections

Throughout the Bible, God often connects individuals to work together. This is because God is aware of our limitations and insecurities. He brings people into our lives to help us become the best versions of ourselves. Aaron was the right person for Moses at that specific time, just as Barnabas was for Paul and John the Baptist was for Jesus. John the Baptist embraced Jesus and introduced him to Israel when many others were not ready.

Sharing Your Dreams with the Right Person

Moses felt comfortable enough with Aaron to share everything God had told him. While sharing ambitions and plans can be risky, it becomes a blessing when shared with the right person. Aaron was that person for Moses—a loving, caring, and sacrificial brother. God places people in our lives, such as spouses, siblings, friends, or mentors, with whom we can share our dreams and hopes. These individuals form a team with us, providing encouragement, security, and safety, even if they are not directly part of our organization.

Finding Your Aaron

Moses shared all of God's words and signs with Aaron, who did not feel insecure. Everyone needs an "Aaron" in their life to help accomplish their mission. This person may already be present. If not, it's important to pray and ask God to help identify the right person to assist in fulfilling your calling. The video concludes with a prayer for recognizing and receiving these divine helpers.

0:03 [Music] Exodus chapter 4 verses 27 and 28. And the Lord said to Aaron, "Go into the wilderness to meet Moses." So he went and met him on the mountain of God and kissed him. So Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had sent him and all the signs which he had commanded him. After that scary situation at the encampment, Moses now has to go out and meet Aaron. And so they meet in the wilderness. Moses ran away from Egypt,

0:48 hated by both Egyptians and the Hebrews. The Hebrews hated him because he presumed to be their leader. The Egyptians hated him because he presumed to be a liberator. On both ends, nobody liked him. So God saw that Moses had this fear about acceptance. So he sent somebody that Moses could accept, his brother, his older brother, Aaron. And Aaron was a family member. he could really receive Moses without Moses feeling threatened. And when you read the sequence of events in this passage, uh God spoke to Aaron about the same time he was speaking to Moses. So whilst Moses was receiving

1:35 instructions about his mission, God was also telling Aaron about Moses and the mission uh he had given to Moses. So on both ends, God was speaking to them, preparing each of them to meet for the mission ahead of them. Throughout the Bible, we see that on many occasions when God calls people, he joins them to other people. God may call us alone. But in calling us, he also calls other people alone and joins them to us. And the reason God does that is because he knows our insecurities. He knows our limitations. He knows what we can do by ourselves and what we cannot

2:21 do by ourselves. And so he would always bring people into our lives who are there to help us be the best for him. And Aaron was the man that God had chosen for Moses. And he was right for the moment. Just as Barnabas was the man that God chose for the Apostle Paul, Barnabas was well suited for Paul. And just as our Lord Jesus Christ himself was connected to John the Baptist, John the Baptist was his cousin. Many people were not ready for Jesus's ministry, but John was ready for him. And John was the person who embraced Jesus and introduced

3:07 him to Israel. And when you look at the passage when Moses and Aaron met, uh Moses was so comfortable with Aaron that he shared everything that God had told him. And but that can be a very dangerous thing to do to tell people your ambitions and your hopes and your plans. But when you talk to the right person, it becomes a blessing. And Aaron was the right person. Moses says, "This is my brother. He's my older brother, but he loves me and he cares for me and he will he will sacrifice for me." And Moses told Aaron everything. There are people in your life that God puts in your life whom you can share everything with, whom you can

3:53 share your dreams with, your hopes with. Sometimes it's a spouse, a husband or a wife. Sometimes it's a brother. Sometimes it's a friend. Sometimes it's a mentor. But whoever that person is, God connects you with that person and builds a team between you and that person. Even if they don't become part of your organization or are not part of your organization, they still become a place of encouragement, security, and safety. So Moses told Aaron everything, the words God has given to him, the signs God says he should work. And Aaron did not feel insecure. For each one of us, there is an Aeron we must meet in our

4:39 lives to help us accomplish our lives mission. Maybe that person is already in your life. If you don't know what that person is, then pray and ask God to help you to locate that person who is right for you, to help you do the things that he has called you to do. Let us pray. Say with me, heavenly father, you have planted the right helpers in my path. Help me to recognize and receive them in Jesus name. Amen. And amen. I'm Pastor Mesa Otel. Shalom. Peace and life to you.
