The Google Project Management certification is highlighted as the fifth most valuable online certification. This beginner-level certificate, endorsed by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, requires no prior experience and can be completed in approximately six months, though many finish it in one to two months. The training consists of six courses, each rated 4.8 stars or higher, covering project management foundations, initiation, planning, execution, agile methodologies, and real-world application. This certification is beneficial for making career changes or entering the project management field.
The IBM Data Science certification is presented as another valuable option, taught by 12 instructors. It claims a 30% career switch rate for those who complete it. Although the course is designed to be completed in 11 months, many users finish it faster. This beginner-level certificate addresses the gap in practical skills among college graduates, focusing on current and valuable skills sought by employers.
The deeplearning.ai TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate is mentioned as an intermediate-level certification. TensorFlow is a popular open-source machine learning framework used to train neural networks, making it valuable for those in augmented or virtual reality fields. Approximately 32% of people who completed this certification switched to a new career path, likely in AI or TensorFlow-related roles. The course takes about four months to complete, with around five hours per week.
The Google Data Analytics certification is a beginner-level program that takes about six months to complete with 10 hours of work per week, though many complete it in two to three months. Given the high demand for data analytics skills, particularly in the United States with approximately 337,000 job openings, this certification is highly valuable. Entry-level salaries average around $67,000 per year. 75% of people who complete this certification report it helped them with their career within six months.
The Google IT Support Professional Certificate is considered the most likely to help individuals secure an entry-level job, even without a college degree. While not a replacement for a college degree, this certification is increasingly popular and demonstrates initiative and a commitment to learning. It is suitable for those without IT experience, those exploring an interest in IT, those with a degree seeking to enhance their resume, and current IT professionals looking to update their skills. The reviews for this certification are overwhelmingly positive.

0:00 in this video I'm going to be going over the top five online certifications that are actually worth it so online certifications have blown up especially in the last few years you're seeing these videos online getting millions of views in a matter of a few months but let's not get ahead of ourselves not all certifications are rainbows and butterflies some of them are great and others aren't really going to make that much of a difference in your professional life and in this video I'm going to go over which ones are actually worth it based off of my own personal experience the experience of others I know as well as data that I collected online so if you appreciate this type of video and you want me to make more like it let me know by gently tapping that like button and commenting down below all right so number five on the list is going to be Google project management
0:47 now this is a Google career certification and Google certificates are so good that even the Bureau of Labor Statistics is starting to promote them now this is a entry-level beginner certificate so you don't have to have a of experience to get value out of this the courses are 100% online the schedule is extremely flexible and on top of that it takes around 6 months to complete although most people say they complete them in more like one or two months now this certificate training consists of six different courses all of them are rated 4.8 stars or above you start off with foundations of project management then you move to project initiation starting a successful project then project planning then project execution then agile project management and the Capstone course is applying project
1:34 management in the real world so yeah project management great career to go into great skill for you to know in general and taking this certification can help you either make a lateral career change or get your foot in the door the next one is going to be the IBM data science certification now for this one there are 12 different highly qualified instructors that are going to help to teach you data science and they claim that 30% of people who finish this certification in up starting a new career path in data science now they say that it takes about 11 months to complete however again most people are able to complete these faster it is a beginner level certificate so you don't need to have much experience in order to start and a lot of these certificates were created by companies like IBM and Google because they were extremely frustrated with the lack of knowledge of
2:21 people who are graduating from colleges colleges were teaching people outdated information that they did not need to know in the workplace however these certif ifications are typically exactly what you need to know and the skills that are actually valuable and sought after by employees right now now the first two that I talked about were beginner level certifications but you also have intermediate and advanced certifications that are offered and one example of an intermediate certification is going to be the next one on the list which is the deeplearning.ai tensorflow developer professional certificate now tensorflow is a popular open-source machine learning framework and it can be used to train neural networks so as you canag imagine this would be something very valuable to know if you get into augmented or virtual reality according to them about 32% of people who
3:07 completed this certification ended up switching to a new career path which you would assume has something to do with AI tensor flow and they say that it takes about 4 months to complete with about 5 hours per week but again probably less than that now I'm going to focus more on the beginner level certifications because the intermediate and advanced certifications are typically for people who are already in careers intermediate and advanced certifications usually are for keeping your knowledge up to date getting it raised or switching the career that you're in into a different one so the next one on the list is going to be the Google data analytics certification this is another beginner level certification it takes approximately 6 months to complete with 10 hours of work per week but again probably more like 2 to 3 months and there is a massive demand for people who have skills with data analytics
3:53 especially here in the United States there's about 337,000 job openings and you get paid around 67 ,000 a year and that's for an entrylevel salary they also claim that 75% of people who complete this certification report over a six-month period that it did help them with their career and the next one on the list number one is going to be the one that in my opinion is most likely to help you get an entry-level job even if you don't have a college degree now I'm not saying by any means that these certifications are a replacement for a college degree that would be like comparing apples to oranges it just wouldn't make any sense at all for one a college degree typically takes four to 5 years whereas these certifications claim that they take 6 months but in reality they usually take just a few a better
4:39 comparison would be four years worth of certifications versus a college degree but even in that case it would still be an apples to oranges comparison but with that being said these certifications are getting more and more popular they're teaching people skills they're helping people stay up to date and companies really like to see people who take initiative and learn on their own so the Google it support professional certificate is one that I have seen lots and lots of reviews on and almost all of them are positive so whether you don't have experience in it and you're just trying to get into it or maybe you're just trying to see if you're interested in it in the first place or you do have a degree but you want to make your resume look even better or you're currently working in it and you want to show your employer that you are actively learning and keeping up to dat on your
5:24 skills these types of certifications can help you with all of those different situations so definitely check them out down in the description below they get a thumbs up from me and I link them down there for you check out my other videos right here I made them just for you go ahead gently tap that like button hit the Subscribe button ring the notification Bell and comment down below any thoughts comments criticisms Etc and I will see you next time have a good one
