0:00 [Music] welcome back to our Channel this is melico coming at you again with the coolest the most epic hotel that we have ever stayed at that isn't a hotel chain okay we're at the Motu beachfront hotel the hotel Moto in exactly we're going to tour you through the whole thing and the next time that you are in the Cook Islands you need to book here first before you even make it here book it in advance I'm telling you now we're going to go through all the amenities our incredible room on the water as well as uh tell you a little bit about it so let's get into

0:47 it first stop is the shuttle to be fair we actually rented a car which I think was the best decision we're here for 4 days and we came directly from the airport but the coolest thing is that usually I have an apple on and it told me I was getting a call from the Cook Islands which was this Resort calling me and asking if they needed to set up the shuttle time when we arrived and they uh reached out by email and by phone multiple times to make sure we were taken care of the customer service was already ready outstanding before we even arrived welcome back to the Mitch of mitcho I have one thing to show you but you got to look real quick there he goes there he goes there he is that is the coolest part of this this hotel is that there's roosters running around and there's chickens running

1:33 around there's cats I'm having a good time already uh right off into of the mini you know this is the Mitch I'm the good part I mean I mean I inan the Lesser half just kidding uh look at these ebikes that's pretty cool they got the zero missions car and uh really honestly this is just like looks like our house it's black and white this is a 10 out of 10 Hotel it's very cute uh we're just right at the interest so let's go ahead and crawl through and uh get through towards the ocean welcome to the light and Airy Lobby that greets you and also the hotel matred comes up and immediately starts talking to you in the most relaxing way giving you an orientation and setting clear expectations of your stay here including

2:19 uh facts about the Cook Islands Mitch was sitting here and he was going through this book that was in the lobby sitting out as well as the drinking water the amenities things um uh that you will experience even the pool and the bar which we'll get to soon but it was just such a phenomenal experience from the beginning of our first interaction with the hotel staff um and again she even called me uh today to make sure that we were arriving okay before we leave the lobby I just wanted to add two things one right off the front entrance is a shower and toilet that you can use so once you check out you can still go play in the ocean play with all the different uh amenities like kayaks and standing boards and then come back and take a shower even after you've checked out and then head to the airport

3:05 which is so convenient in addition there is a laundry room on site that you can use um and we are right at the beginning of our trip so we'll probably not make use of it but it is such a great plus if you're staying here for a long time like a lot of people do look how cool the Landscaping is I love Landscaping I'm a big Landscaping guy and this got good Landscaping we've been to Loom we've been to a lot of tropical places the first thing I I noticed right when I came in and you'll notice this too when you book this hotel cuz so far it's really good and you should uh is the landscape's really nice I love nice landscape and if you can tell right here look how beautiful this is and don't get a sneak peek because there's a gorgeous Beach right there look at that look at that all the way through there so uh 's

3:51 going to walk over you come in and it'll be on your guys's left on your left there is going to be a pool and a super special bar so we've now made it a couple steps away from the lobby into the pool area one of the most annoying thing to uh to me about hotels is when the pool closes early like you don't make it back in time this one's open 24 hours a day to everyone you can use it um a bunch of different lawn chairs that you can hang out in but your room also has one so if you wanted a different scenery than the beach you can come here but the beach is outstanding where is all the rum gone where is all the rum I found the rum this is amazing so you can drink as

5:23 no better than this and honestly this is an awesome Vibe I'm really digging it it's you know I keep on saying it's like other things you know what it's like it's like the Cook Islands that's what it's like so if you need a bar you need a drink you can get it anytime uh you get two keys you get one to the room and you get one to the bar and so you can self- serve the pool or you can Self Serve Yourself in the pool this is an awesome Hotel can you see the ocean peeking through oh my gosh okay so I think there is one two three four five like Garden Villas and then one two three four five maybe six Ocean View Villas and the good news is is that we got an ocean view and we're taking you there next hold on guys

6:08 look what I found you guys see them these are my best ones oh they just live this is our our uh there he is there he is I love them when the palm trees frame around you to the crystal blue ocean I can't get enough okay so off to our right your left there is our number one number one Uno Villa there's also our deck that has two lawn chairs that we can take in the view of the ocean and underneath you can see there's kayaks there's a clear boat there's paddle boards and there's even snorkeling equipment but you go back to the front desk to get fins all included at your use Mitch immediately when we

6:56 got here got into the clear boat and took it out to the ocean immediately so uh I I haven't taken my turn but I'm excited like I mentioned we're number one but let's take a look inside there are two doors sliding doors but one goes to the living room in the kitchen and the next goes to our bedroom and the bathroom that totally sold me on the place okay so here is the living room vaulted ceilings fan it smells phenomenal in here there's so much seating area we haven't even turned turn on the TV because the views outside have been entertainment enough uh there is also the couch fruit that came with it this is the first time I've ever seen this it came with two eggplants two

7:43 bananas and two mangoes I'm really excited for the mangoes not so much the eggplants but this kitchen oh my word we have a coffee machine and talk about complimentary there's a French roast that you can use in the coffee machine uh teacups coffee mugs wine glasses water glasses tea coffee press uh olive oil salt and pepper I can't believe it's so fully stocked I even was going in the drawers earlier it's like a full Airbnb even though it's a hotel but we have just run into some people that were here from New Zealand it's their second time back oh this one's not as good as this one and um they're staying here for a month so

8:30 it's definitely a place that you come you experience you live out of and enjoy the view but look at this fridge okay it's a mini fridge but it's a big fridge everything in here is complimentary I can't get over it it's all included so we got crackers spreads a cheese spread eggs a whole loaf of bread guys what is this obviously for the toaster that comes up above um and uh ice thing for the champagne they give us Champagne included and beer along with chilled glasses to celebrate our awesomeness there's orange juice there's milk there's a pcture of water in here and I even found honey jam and butter

9:19 I'm going to have a carb Fest I can't I can't wait we don't even need to leave we could be bunkered in and I would be okay but let's take you to the bedroom with the view of a lifetime as well as the bathroom this is where the magic happens oh my God so come on in uh really nice bedroom again what I like about these are the voltage ceilings look how high that is uh it's amazing this is a really really good craftsmanship and amazing build I love it sounds like my car stuff but it is a nice build I really do like it uh it's very cute um a lot of things that came that surprising me is one a lot of the gifts are complimentary which I mean this is how you know it's a really nice hotel when we're at like a Four Seasons we've been here they do give us this stuff but it's usually tiny little

10:05 things the two water bottles also were complimentary so you can take those with you which is funny because Ella was just saying that she would need some little water bottle that's refillable and now we have the one that says Motu on it lifelong memory um really really cool follow me into the magic the real magic oh wait let's not forget the mirror there's a full size mirror I'm a fan of but the bathroom this is insane like insane like 10 out of 10 uh one of our most famous videos on this channel is the Post Hotel in lenworth Washington and this is on par this is like nice uh really attention to detail come in here check out these sinks I love the lighting in here beautiful lighting the uh fixture up

10:52 here is gorgeous as well it's just beautiful very nice I fit right in I mean can you even see me I'm probably Blended in uh the tile is a 10 out of 10 the shower is gorgeous the shower is all absolutely stunning followed by if you don't get robes in a nice hotel are you even in a nice hotel come on man this is I'm I'm truly impressed when we came around the corner and had this it's absolutely gorgeous and funny enough it's a nice toilet I mean come on man it's a good looking toil you got to test the bed we got to test the bed for you but can't it hang oh jeez if you break it you buy it but it's good guys but right off the deck there's

11:37 a covered area just in case the weather turns sour on you it has held steady sun in and out it's very windy today so we apologize in advance for wind noise but I mean this is private deck leads to this again landscaped area where you have your private other deck and the sun tanning beds it's just look at the view behind you look at the [Music]

12:23 beach okay we're going to attempt this but I just wanted to say that this beach is the best section of the island this is where the hotel is and it shares some real estate with the public beach and if you stay here this is the best section and it's builing you don't even have to leave so they gave you Food Supplies water and the best part of the beach so absolutely book the hotel look at this thing you can come in right off the ocean take an outdoor shower get the sand off of your body then head to your Villa or if your feet are dirty there are are little pools with floating flowers everywhere just to rinse off your feet I feel so luxurious it's amazing so let's give you the stats I

13:11 booked this hotel in May of 2024 we're here right now in October of 2024 so months in advance last I looked our Beach villa which there are some Garden Villas was going for close to $900 a night I got this for can you guess in the comments like like $360 or $70 what a steal we are here for 4 days three nights and the location also we're about uh 20 minutes from the airport that's why we rented the car is so that instead of taking a taxi or the shuttle we would have a car the whole time but it's so scenic and welcoming as you're driving your rental car out to the hotel you can see the sign from the road the location's convenient and then they uh
