00 as we are just days away from WWDC 2025 and I am super excited for this year's worldwide developer conference because I think this will be the biggest year ever when it comes to OS enhancements for all of Apple's products. There's going to be a great new visual overhaul, but also great enhancements to iPad OS, TV OS, Watch OS, but also great enhancements to iPad OS as well. So, in today's video, let's go over all the rumors and leaks and everything that we should expect from WWDC in a few days. Now, before we begin by talking about a lot of rumors that we've been hearing for quite a while, let me first quickly go over a recent report by Mark German where he's saying that Apple will skip iOS 19 and will fast forward to iOS 26. And at first, it doesn't make sense, right? Why would Apple do such a thing? And it's apparently not just for iOS, but it's
46 for iPad OS, Watch OS, TV OS, and even Vision OS. So, it's basically for all the operating systems that Apple creates. And at first, when this report came out, I was confused. I mean, how do you jump from iOS 19 to iOS 26? It just doesn't make sense. But then I thought about it and it actually makes a lot more sense than you could possibly think. In fact, Samsung made a similar move in 2020 when they jumped from the Galaxy S10 in 2019 to the Galaxy S20 in 2020. And that makes a lot of sense because over the last few years, Apple's numbering has felt very disjointed. And this year, Apple wants to simplify everything and create a very unified experience all the way from the look and feel of their products to also the way they're named. Because if you're in the tech community, then clearly you are up to date on the latest Mac OS, iPad OS,
32 Watch OS. I mean, we literally read the rumors and speculations and we get excited with the newest softwares and stuff, but a lot of the people, you know, don't really know or care about the number. And it gets very confusing when your Mac is running Mac OS 15 or your iPad is running iPad OS 18 and your watch is watch OS 10. It just feels very confusing and it's almost hard to guess what software you're using because all of them are using a different number. So if everything is the same, Mac OS 26, iOS 26, iPad OS 26, you get the point here. It just really simplifies things and makes easier even from a marketing perspective to just help make sense. And I do think that Apple should trickle down this naming strategy to the iPhone as well because even that's getting really confusing. I mean, it sounds ridiculous to have an iPhone 17, 18,
19 iPhone 49, right? I think they need to stop the numbers in general for iPhones or maybe, you know, go with this approach and just call it iPhone 26. Just match it with the latest and greatest iOS that is currently out there. And I think they're following the auto industry because every year they drop the next year's model in the fall. And technically Apple does the same thing because there are new iPhones and their new operating systems all drop during the fall season just like a lot of new vehicles, right? So when it is 2026, majority of that year, you're running iOS 26 or iPad OS 26. So it feels new and fresh. But obviously putting the name aside, iOS, iPad OS, and all the operating systems are getting an all new look. And I think that's what we're all really excited for. We haven't seen a big new redesign
04 when it came to the operating systems for iPhones and iPads since iOS 7. And that was a long time ago. And even if you look at the WWDC invites, they feature a hazy transparent ring hinting at a reported redesign of all the company's software to a new glass look, which is going to mirror the Vision Pros look and feel, which has a lot of frosted glass panes, layers of transparency, and circular app icons. front page text. John Proer actually showed a preview of this expected design based on information from his sources and it definitely looks a lot like Vision OS. It looks really nice and futuristic. But beyond just a fresh paint of code, I do wonder, especially when you look at the iPad OS and a lot of the rumors are suggesting that iPad OS is going to get its biggest update yet and make it much more closer to a
51 Mac. Even Mac OS is going to get an all new look and feel which is going to be similar to Vision OS. So, if Mac OS is going to look a lot like iOS and you have iPad OS, which is going to be a lot more like a Mac, then it almost feels like iPad OS and Mac OS are actually coming a lot closer than ever before. And to be very honest, every year the iPad becomes closer and closer to a Mac, especially with features like stage manager for multitasking. And Mark German is reporting that we're going to get some great new features when it comes to multitasking and productivity. What those features are, we don't exactly know yet, but Mark German is saying that this will be the biggest year for iPad OS. Not just with the new look and feel, but with a lot of great functionality as well. And I'm totally on board for that because I use the iPad
36 Pro as my main computer. So, if it becomes even more powerful and looks nicer, that's going to be amazing. And I know on my channel, we don't talk a lot about Mac OS, but like I said, Mac OS also will receive the same look and feel that iOS and iPad OS will be receiving. So it'll get those same glass-like UI elements like Vision Pro. And also apparently it's been leaked that the naming convention for Mac OS 26 will be named Tahoe. So Mac OS Tahoe will probably be the new name. Rumors are also suggesting that Apple TV and Watch OS will get new redesigns as well. And to be very honest, it's hard to really visualize how, you know, the new watch OS is going to look like with a Vision Pro look and feel. I don't think it's going to be as drastic as it's going to be with, let's say, iPad OS or iOS, but it is nice to know that even watch OS is
24 going to get UI enhancements and updates. And also, one of the devices that actually missed out on Apple intelligence completely so far has been the Apple Watch. And rumors are suggesting that this year Apple Intelligence features will trickle down to the Apple Watch as well, especially when it comes to message summaries and translation. Reports also say that Apple could be working on adding generative AI insights to its health app data and even using AI as a medical service with a launch target of 2026. Another recent report again from Mark German says that Apple intelligence will help Apple improve battery life on its devices. Personally, I've never really had an issue with battery life on my Apple Watch or my iPad or my iPhone, but if AI alongside the hardware can help improve your battery life, I'm all for it. Also,
10 Bloomberg is reporting that an all-new game app will come with the new iOS and iPad OS. There aren't any details at all whatsoever for this new gaming application, but it looks like Apple is taking gaming very seriously, especially with Apple Arcade, and I think this new app might take things next level. As for actual hardware releases, there isn't anything that's being reported right now. I also don't think any new hardware will be released at WWDC this year because I think it's going to be a jam-packed event because Apple is literally going to be updating all their operating systems with an all new look and feel. And once again, we only know about the new designs. We don't know anything about the new functionalities and features that will be dropping alongside these new operating systems. Like I said in the very beginning, iPad OS will be getting some great new
57 enhancements when it comes to features related to productivity. So, Apple is going to be spending a lot of time talking about those things. And like I said, when you have every single operating system that's going to be updated drastically, it's going to take up a lot of their time. So, if you are expecting an allnew Mac or an iPad or anything like that, don't hold your breath for it. But, at the end of the day, I am super excited for WWDC this year. This is going to be my first time live streaming it as well. So, if you are interested in a live stream party, then do join me Monday, June 9th at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time or 1:00 p.m. Eastern time. We'll go through what Apple is releasing. We'll chat together. We'll go over WWDC live as it's happening and and share our thoughts and just kind of engage in some geeky, you know, conversations. So, if you are interested in a live stream, be sure to
43 be subscribed to my channel. Stay tuned for that live stream and I'll see you next time. [Music]
