Introduction: Trading in Uncertain Times

The video addresses the concerns of new traders about entering the market during times of war or recession. It assures viewers that it is still possible to trade successfully by using specific strategies that are resilient to market downturns. The presenter aims to provide actionable tips to navigate these challenging conditions and profit regardless of the global situation.

Tip 1: Slow Down Your Trading

The first tip is to reduce the pace of trading, especially when the markets are slow or volatile. Avoid the urge to trade frequently and instead, wait for ideal setups. Only execute trades that meet all the criteria of your strategy. In markets with turmoil, avoid trades that only look "okay" and focus solely on "perfect" setups to increase the likelihood of success.

Tip 2: No Volume, No Trading

The second tip advises against trading on days with low volume or when the markets are moving sideways. It's acceptable to take a day off, particularly when external factors like geopolitical tensions are high. Trading under such conditions can lead to unnecessary losses and increased stress. Taking a break can prevent losses and allow for a return to the market under more favourable conditions.

Tip 3: Stick to Your Strategy, But Adapt

The third tip stresses the importance of sticking to a proven strategy, but with an adaptation: shorten profit targets. In volatile markets, aim for a 1:2 risk-reward ratio instead of the usual 1:4. Political or economic news can quickly reverse market direction, so it's crucial to secure profits quickly. The presenter recommends becoming a "super scalper" to navigate these rapid market changes effectively.

Tip 4: Watch Out for Future Conferences

The fourth tip advises traders to monitor upcoming conferences and news events that could impact the markets. Avoid trading when significant figures like political leaders are scheduled to speak, as their comments can cause market volatility. Use resources like forexfactory.com to stay informed about these events and incorporate fundamental analysis alongside technical analysis.

Tip 5: Follow Profitable Traders

The fifth tip suggests learning from experienced, profitable traders who have navigated various market conditions. Investing in mentorship or following their trades can provide valuable guidance and shortcut the learning curve. Overcoming the ego-driven desire to do everything independently can lead to faster progress and greater profitability.

Trading Strategy Example

The presenter shares his trading chart and explains a strategy he uses, particularly in the current market conditions. He notes that price movements are slower, and it takes longer to reach entry points. To counter this, he advises taking partial profits at a 1:1 risk-reward ratio, setting stops to break even, and letting the remaining position run. This approach guarantees a win while still allowing for potential further gains.

Detailed Breakdown of the Strategy

Using a replay mode, the presenter illustrates how to implement the strategy. After identifying a bullish pattern and entering a buy position, he advises taking half the profit at a 1:1 ratio and moving the stop-loss to break even. The remaining position is then allowed to run to a 1:3 or 1:4 target. This method ensures a guaranteed profit while providing the opportunity for larger gains without additional risk.

The Importance of Consistency

The most important factor for success is consistency. Traders must commit to following their trading plan, including taking partial profits and setting stops to break even. Deviating from the plan due to fear or greed can disrupt the strategy and lead to inconsistent results. Sticking to the plan consistently is essential for achieving the desired outcomes.

Conclusion: Trading with Confidence

The video concludes by reiterating that while war markets can be intimidating, they are not insurmountable. By adopting the strategies discussed, traders can navigate these markets and remain profitable. The presenter encourages viewers to embrace scalping and to stay adaptable, emphasising that trading offers opportunities in both rising and falling markets. He invites viewers to explore additional resources, including his second channel for live trading examples and a link to trade live with him.

0:00 So, by now I'm sure you've seen all the missiles being shot left and right from different countries and all the talks of war and us getting involved and how scary that can be for people who trade or people who actually just live. You live in the US. I mean, just in general, it's scary and I get that. Now, you guys want to become a trader and you're worried because now it's like, is it a good time to trade? The markets are slowing down a bit. It's getting a little bit more iffy. Yes, you can still trade. Today, I'm going to give you some tips and tricks on how you can become a successful trader even during markets like this, meaning war. Whether we're going through the downfall we saw in 2007, the recession, no matter what it is, this strategy is recession proof, warp proof. It's going to help you guys make money along the way while we're going to war if that's what we do. And if not, and there's just a recession at some point, you'll be prepared. So pay attention to the tips I'm going to give you today. So the first tip I'd like to give you, slow down. A lot of people come into the markets in general and

0:45 they want to trade fast-paced. They want to trade 10 times a day. They want to make a million dollars per second. And it's unrealistic, especially during war markets or recession markets or just I need a good name. What's a good name for markets that aren't good? We'll just call it [ __ ] markets. So, when the markets are [ __ ] and they're slow, you cannot trade fast. You shouldn't even do that when the markets are really good and perfect. Although, you have better chances during those markets. When the markets are [ __ ] you need to slow the down, like way down. There's no taking six trades a day. There's no going in and out all day. Slow down. Let the markets come to you. If there is not a proper setup, do not trade those markets. If you don't have the setup you're looking for, the textbook setup that you want, do not trade those markets. If the setup looks decent but not fully perfect, you can still take that trade. Not during war markets when the markets are in a turmoil and they're

1:30 not doing so well, you cannot take trades that look okay. You need to take trades that look perfect only. That's my first tip. Now, that kind of piggybacks into my second tip. If the markets don't look good at all and they're not moving and they're just slow, don't even trade. No volume equals no trading. I don't care what your strategy is. If there is no volume and the markets are not moving slash only moving sideways, just don't trade. It's okay to take a day off, especially during markets like this, because the last thing you want to do is already be nervous that a missile was going to land in your backyard, and now at the same time, you're losing money that you work so hard for because you want to risk so much every day, and just keep going even though the markets are not really that good. Just don't trade. It's okay to take a day off. A lot of you guys have this weird thing where it's like, I can't take a day off. Even though I'm not profitable yet, there's no way I can take the day off from trading. You're basically telling yourself, I can't take today off from losing. Yes, you can. You'll be okay if

2:17 you don't lose today. Just relax. Come back tomorrow. Do not get in these markets if they're not ready. If they're moving slow, if there's no volume, don't get in the markets. Now, this is a big one, okay? Stick to your same strategy. Don't switch anything up. The strategy that I use and I show every single day and I'm going to talk about in a little bit, it works even during war markets. But here's the thing. You got to get out faster. Now, what I mean by that is if normally you're going for a 1 to four on average, maybe cut that in half and go for a 1 to2. And there's very specific reasons why. The quicker you get out, the better your chances of winning for one. And for two, while we're having war talks and a lot of things are happening politically, one little thing, one little thing can make the markets flip on you like that. You don't have time to hold the trade out all day. You don't have time to go for a 1 to four and hope you can smash that every single time. It's not going to happen. Trump says one thing, you're done. Another leader in

3:04 the US says something and it doesn't have to be very big. They could even just cough, you're done. It's going to flip on you. So, do not hold these trades for too long. You have got to be quicker. We're already scalping, but we have to become super scalpers in these markets because they can flip like that. You got to be prepared. At the same expense, if you get into a buy and something does happen, you know it's going to happen. It could also go in your favor. But again, we're not here to risk and gamble and have fun. We're here to trade profitably. So, get in these trades fast. Get out these trades fast and move on. You got to be a lot faster and sharper during these markets. Now, another tip I want to give you guys, look out for future conferences, okay? They're scheduled all over the place. Trump speaks in 1 hour. Look out for that. Do not trade if Trump's getting ready to speak. Do not trade if he's already speaking. Do not trade shortly after he speaks. If he's going to speak on a specific day while we're going through all this conflict with another country, do not trade. Just wait. Trade

3:52 the next day. Wait a few hours. Make sure the markets don't get all crazy because he said something. You can see these things. They're all there. Go to forexfactory.com and you will see Trump speaks, Norman Pal speaks, any of these big guys speak. Just be prepared. Watch the news events. Really, I mean, normally I just say, "Hey, just trade what you see." Not anymore. Now we're looking at fundamentals as well. You have to go and look at the History Channel, the news channel, ABC7, CBS, whatever the case may be, whatever one you like the most. Watch what's happening because if something big happens in the economy, you're going to see the markets like that either flip or continue one way, but it's going to get too messy and it's going to be hard to actually trade that technically fundamentally it's going crazy because of something that is coming up. Now, before I get into the charts, I just want to say the biggest thing that you can do is follow somebody who's already profitable because they've been doing this for a long time. They've been

4:37 through every kind of market and they can guide you along the way. It's okay to invest in yourself. It's okay to spend money. Invest in yourself and just follow somebody else who's trading already. People have this thing where it's like, I got to do it on my own. I don't want to get help from nobody. I can do this by myself. If you're already not profitable and these markets are starting to get a little crazy, look to somebody else who's already been doing it. They've already carved the path that you need to take. It's okay. It's an ego thing, but it's okay. Follow somebody else. Take their trades. Copy their trades. It's as simple as that. So, looking at my chart from this week, okay, we've had some pretty pretty solid days. As you can see, three buying positions back to back to back. And just so you guys are aware, I literally trade live in front of a,000 plus people every single morning. If you guys would like that option, too, click the link down below. Not saying you have to, but if you'd like to click the link down below, trade with me live every single morning.

5:24 It's just an option. But again, I do this live every single day. You know, one thing that I've noticed in these markets is that price is either moving very very slow while the trade is actually taking place or it's taking longer to get to your entry point than it would on a normal day. Like typically we see a lot of volume coming in at New York session and boom, we're out of there. Now it's like, okay, it's getting to my entry and then it's like stalling a little bit going to my entry and then finally we're at entry. I enter and it just slows down. So, what I've done to kind of counteract that is I've taken profit early on half the position and I've let the rest run. What I mean by that is, for example, I'll put this in replay mode and show you guys. Um, right here during New York session, we have price entering my entry zone. We're breaking out of this trend line. This is a bullish pattern. As you can see, a higher high, higher low, higher high.

6:09 Overall, this is a buying position. Price starts to break to my entry zone, and I get in for my buy. Now, once I'm here at my buy position, and I see, okay, we're up about a 1 one on average. Okay, we're up a 1:1. What I would like to do is now put my stops to break even, take half my profit. So, if I'm up 10 grand, I'll take five grand out, let that rest of a 5 grand run to at least a three or four. Now, again, you could always just go for a 1 to two, whatever the average seems to be, and get out. But what I like about this is you're guaranteeing a win every single day. Okay, I I already won. I've won. I made five grand. That's amazing. I let the rest of that five grand go. And at a 1:2, that five is now 10. At a 1 to three, that that 10 is now 15. And on one to four, we're looking at now $20,000. So I made $25,000 overall risk-free and guaranteed I was going to

6:55 make five grand for the day at worst. That's the worst thing that could happen is I make five grand at reverses. Okay, I made five grand. Boohoo, pay some bills. But instead, now I took half the position, stops to break even, and I let the rest run. That is something else that you can do. Okay, I do that every single day this week and it's been working very, very effectively. Uh, for instance, here we came up to here. I was up maybe six grand or whatever at a 1:1. did the same thing, came back, stopped me out. Okay, I made five or six grand. The rest just whatever. I didn't make any money after that. It's okay. It happens. It really happens. And it's okay when it does happen because at the end of the day, you're in a risk-free trade. Now, again, we did the same thing here. Okay, we got our entry point. Took a while to get there. As you can see, this is a uptrend. You see the resistance. You see the break of the resistance. I took my buy position. We shot up. Boom. Stops to break even. Took

7:40 about 10K profit here. Let the rest run. We'll see what happens. Let the rest run. Bam. and kept going. Next thing you know, I make $30,000 in one single day while risking zero dollars because we already hit that one to one. Try this. Especially during war markets. Trust me, just try this. It is very hard to lose when you're at break even. In fact, it's impossible to lose when you're at break even. So, even better, you're at break even. You took some profit. You can't lose. All you can do now is win. Maybe it's a minimal win, but a win is a win and a loss is a loss. You'd rather have a small win than a loss. Trust me. So, try this out. Try this little thing out, man. Take your stops to break even. you know, cut half your profit, let the rest run to a 1 to4, see what happens. You may be surprised. I did this four times this week and um let's just say a very profitable week for me. Actually made really good money. Even though the markets have slowed down and got a

8:26 little weird on me, I still did it and it was very, very simple. So, with that all being said, what exactly is the most important factor here? It's that you stay consistent. It's that you tell yourself, "Okay, I'm going to try this at a 1:1. I'm going to put stops to break even and close half and I'm going to let the rest run to four." Okay? See what I just said? You see, I just said exactly what I'm going to do. That's easy. The hard part is actually doing it the entire week. Now, most people are going to come on here, say they're going to do it, and at a 1 to two, 1 to three, freak out. Oh my god, I've never seen myself up this much. It's actually working. I'm going to close. You already messed up. If you don't stay consistent with it, you're not going to see profits consistent. Now, one day you decide, I'm going to hold out for a target 1 to two, try to make my money fast, and just get out. It reverses on you. You lose. If you would have just flipped to break even, you would have made money. Now your entire strategy is alled up because you can't stay consistent. So don't just

9:12 say you're going to do something. Actually do it. Stay consistent and follow your trading plan the entire week. Watch what happens for you. It's going to be magic. It's going to be uh something you've never seen before. So just try it out. Give it a chance and come back to me when you're done. And I guarantee you'll have good things to say. So again, the war markets are scary. I get it. The markets are slowing down. It is a scary time. It's not the end of the world. There's a lot of ways to make profits in these markets no matter what is happening. This is why I love to trade. I can trade downside. I can trade upside. I can trade shorts, longs. I can do all that. I don't have to just only buy and sell. We're not investing. We're trading. We're scalping. We're getting in and out. Trust me, you want to become a scalper in these markets. It's going to be very vital for you making profits along the entire year. Appreciate you guys. Love you guys.
