0:00 Come on, give the Lord another big hand clap of praise. Amen. If you have your Bibles, go with me to the book of 2 Corinthians chapter 5. 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and and verse 17. Now, tonight I'm going to talk to you about something that I believe it's it's it's you've got to get this and learn how to live from this in order to see some of the things you've not seen before. We're going to talk about recognizing our true identity,
0:45 our our our Jesus identity. And then we we need to figure out how to get in sync with that true identity. You know, we spend a lot of time talking about the actions of sinning, but we don't realize one of the places we miss the mark more than any other area of our life is we miss the mark where our identity is concerned, our true identity, and getting in sync with our true identity. Cuz when you're not in sync, when I say in sync, we you we've got to come into agreement with who we really are. It just can't be something you say religiously or wear it on a t-shirt. We've got to get in sync with our true
1:32 identity. And it is something that we rehearse and practice every day. We recognize who we are. And when we begin to display things that don't line up with our true identity, we we we we quickly remind ourselves, "Wait a minute, that's not me." Amen. And and you keep going forward because a lot of things if we don't get this straightened out and I'm talking about getting in sync, you understand what I'm saying? Getting in sync with your true identity. I know most of you have a um a working knowledge of who you are in Christ. But I'm I'm going to do everything I can tonight to uh to blow that up. I'm going to use a some of the mirror translation
2:18 because I like how it describes and really blows it up so you can really see who you are. And and I I if it if it does you like it did me, you'll sit back and say, "Wow, I don't know if I really have a grip of who I really am." Now you got to you got to know it's got to be more to it than you know being born and growing up going to elementary school and you know graduate go to college and maybe get married have some kids then you have your kids have kids and and then you become empty nesters and then you know you enjoy life and retire and you die. I I just I don't believe that. I believe I believe I believe it's so much more to this story.
3:06 And God has already been to the end of this story. Glory be to God. He called the the end at the very beginning of this story. And you got to know that we're in preparation for something. And it requires you encountering this life. It also inquire requires you to encounter your physical body. It it also requires uh you to to see what happens when you leave the physical body. It also requires you to see what happens in a spiritual body. God is up to something. Amen. Somebody says, "Well, brother Dollar, you just don't understand. I have been through some things." Well, let me tell you something. You cannot mature in your comfort zone.
3:53 I said you cannot mature in your comfort zone. That's right. Sometimes you're going to be put in uncomfortable situations to see if you're going to rehearse what you say you believe. All right. And so this is so very important that we get a hold of who we are and our true identity and learning how to how to get in sync with our true identity. So I want to start in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and uh verse 17. I'll read it in the King James first and and then I'm going to I'm going to try to use this translation tonight to to really help you to see who you really are. So, let's look at the King James version. I want to share about four or
4:39 five scriptures with you and then we'll we'll go with this thing. Now, I'll tell you right away, I'm not going to finish. I'm just going to drop enough and you going to have to go. You get with the Holy Ghost and y'all finish it a little bit later on. Amen. All right. All right. Now, notice he says, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ." All right. You're in Christ. So, you made a decision one day to be in Christ. He says, "He's a new creature." You're in Christ. You're a new creature. You're in Christ. You're You're a new creature. He says, "Old things are passed away, and behold, all things are become new." You're in Christ. You are a new creature. Yes. Now listen to this out of
5:25 this translation. He says, "Now in the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection." Now please understand, you were included in he in his death. When he died, you died. When he was resurrected, you were resurrected. When he ascended on high, you ascended on high. When he was seated, you are seated with him. Are you listening to me? Now, in the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection, whoever you thought you were before in Christ, somebody say, "I'm in Christ." I'm in Christ. In Christ, you are a brand new person.
6:11 You're a brand new person. The old ways of seeing yourself and everyone else are over. Amen. Now that you're in Christ, you're a brand new person. The old way of how you used to see yourself is over. But not only how you used to see yourself because you're a new person, it's also how you see other people. So you change because you don't see yourself like you see yourself. And you're not going to see other people like you used to see other people. You're going to see them with some more empathy. You're going to look at them through the through the eyes of love. You're going to make room for the faults of others. You're not going to look at people so judgmentally like you did before. You see yourself differently
6:56 and now you look at others differently. And and here's what I like. I like this last line. He says, "Aquaint yourself with the new." So you need you need to get acquainted with the new you. You know the old you. And and you say, "Well, I I I've taken the old man out." Well, you could have fooled me. He says you need to become acquainted with the new you. That's right. Getting acquainted with the new you. And and I'm telling you, that's going to take some rehearsing. That's going to take some practice. Getting acquainted with the new you. That's right. All right. Let's let's go let's go to this next one now. So, Ephesians chapter 2 and 10. Ephesians 2 and 10.
7:46 Mhm. We f to cook a meal here, boy. All right. In the King James, he says, "For we are his workmanship. We're created in Christ." We're created in Christ Jesus under good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. All right? Now, the mirror says this. He says, "We are engineered by his design." M we are engineered by his design. Somebody said where you get that from? Well, he made us in his image. He made us in his likeness. Yes. We are engineered by his design. He molded and
8:31 manufactured us in Christ. Lord have mercy. We are his workmanship, his poetry. We are fully fit to do good, equipped to give attractive evidence of his likeness in us in everything with everything we do. We are now we're in Christ. We are fully equipped, fully equipped with everything we need to give an illustration and an example of his likeness. You absolutely sometimes forget who you are. You are fully equipped with everything you need to give a excellent illustration of his likeness. Hallelujah.
9:18 Jesus said, "If you have seen the father, you have seen me." We ought to be saying, "If you've seen Jesus, glory to God, you've seen me." And if you seen me, you've seen Jesus. And if you've seen me, you've seen Jesus. And you've seen the Father. because I'm fully equipped to give you a great illustration of what they're like. [Applause] All right, let's let's move let's move a little a little farther with this now. Let's go to uh 2 Corinthians chapter 3 and 18. 2 Corinthians chapter 3 and 18. I like to start off here with the 2 Corinthians 3:18. Here's what he says
10:03 in the King James. I need to calm down. I got a ways to go. But we all with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord. We're changed into the same image. Yes. From glory to glory. Even by the spirit of the Lord just by beholding him. We're changed in the same image. And this is done by the spirit of the Lord. G. Now look at this in this verse in this uh translation. Now we all with new understanding see ourselves in him as in a mirror. I see myself in him like I see myself in a mirror.
10:48 Which means I am or should be a reflection of him. Hallelujah. But you let the world and religion scare you out of holding on to the fact that you are a reflection of him. And just like you see yourself in the mirror every morning, he says we should see ourselves every day in like we looking into a mirror. See ourselves in him. A and when we look at him, we should see ourselves. When we when we see Jesus, we should say, "Oo, that's me." That's right. Oh, y'all didn't get that. When we see Jesus, oh, that's Wait a minute. That's me. And Jesus looking at you and say, "That's me." And you look at him like,
11:34 "That's me." Oh, glory to God. Oh, glory to God. He said, "The days of window shopping are over." Wow. In him every face is unveiled. In gazing with wonder at the likeness of Elohim displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking into a mirror where every feature of their image articulated in the Lord is reflected in us. Hallelujah. That's that's serious, guys. I'm telling you right now, you have not been acquainted
12:20 with this image. You've been more acquainted with who the world told you you were, what your past told you you were, and what your shortcomings told you you were. But I am saying it is time to get acquainted. with the true identity, the Jesus identity. Your resemblance is him. Don't tell me what you did last night. Don't tell me what happened last year. I am saying I don't care what happened right now. If you can start seeing the image of Jesus as you do your reflection in a mirror, all of that's going to change because the devil's been trying to get you to do this. that if you do
13:08 bad, you must be bad. And you've got to say, "No, bad ain't me no more." I am acquainted with the true identity of myself. And I know you trying to mess with my identity, devil, but bad ain't me. That's not me no more. You talking about what happened 20, 30 years ago, but bad ain't me no more. I resemble him. He resembles me. I have everything necessary to to perfectly illustrate who he is. [Music] And you scared somebody going to get on you. I am not going to let go of my true identity. Everything about what Jesus
13:53 has promised me is invested and should flow from my true identity. My righteousness flows from my true identity. My deliverance flows from my true identity. Prosperity flows from my true identity. Everything that Jesus is finished, all the finished works of Jesus flows from my true identity. And you still walking around with a fake identity. Amen. I didn't finish reading that. Watch this. The spirit of the Lord engineers this radical transformation. The spirit of the Lord engineers this radical transformation. So now you got to trust God to work in you.
14:40 The NLT says uh I believe it's in Philippians 2. He said it's the spirit of God that's working in you. Yes. Giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Oh my God. I trust that the Holy Ghost is working in us right now. Right now, while you're seated there minding your own business, the Holy Ghost is working in you right now. He is giving you the power and the desire. He's working on your desire. God knows how to take care of your old wanttos and give you some new wanttos. And you wake up and trying to figure out what happened to that want to. Well, the Holy Ghost has been working in you.
15:25 I trust the Holy Ghost working in me. See, you gotten so used to doing your own work, you done forgot about there are only some things that the Holy Ghost can do. The Holy Ghost is changing your bad attitude. The Holy Ghost is changing how you treat that waitress at the restaurant. The Holy Ghost is changing how you used to up your volume when you talk to your wife. And he's changing that in you. And you wake up one day, you're like, "Wow, that ain't there no more." Why? because you trust that he is capable of the transformation. But it's listen, it is hard. It's hard for the transformation to take place when you keep denying the finished design. Come on. It don't look like I don't look like Jesus right now. Well, it depends on
16:11 what you looking at. If you looking at your past and your shame and your condemnation and your blame. Yeah. But I'm not looking at that. I'm looking at Jesus. Come on. And just by beholding Jesus, I am going to be changed from glory to glory. Just by beholding Jesus, I'm looking at Jesus and what he does. Come on. I seriously need to calm down. Right now I'm on a tour around the United States and I seriously y'all pray for me but I get excited when I have a chance to teach somebody about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I I'm excited. I know
16:58 we still hadn't finished reading that. Hold on a minute. The spirit of the Lord engineers his radical transformation. We are led from an inferior. Check it out. We're led from an inferior mindset to the revealed endorsement of our authentic identity. From an inferior mindset to a revealed endorsement of our authentic identity. From the fading glory of our own doing to the discovery of the most amazing reality that we are God's glorious masterpiece.
17:44 Are y'all listening to me? Now look at Colossians chapter 2. Well, let's look at Colossians chapter 3 and 10. Colossians 3 and10. And all I'm doing is sharing scriptures right now. All we doing is reading. For anybody on the internet talking about, "Well, I don't agree with what he said." I'm just reading. I ain't said nothing yet. Now, I'm about to get radical, but I I'm just reading. I just want you to know it's in the Bible. Colossians chapter 3, verse 10, he says, "And have put on the new man." I say and say, "And have put on the new man." Come on. I say I say have put on the new man
18:30 which is now Now this is so interesting. I put on the new man which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created me. That's what I have put on. All right. Now watch this. Now watch this. This is this is just He says, "You are clothed in the knowledge of the authentic yet brand new you." You're clothed in the brand new you. I said you're clothed in the brand new you. Your thoughts are permeated in our co-resurrection and in our co-enthroned royal life instead of the old worn out garments of pretense. That's right.
19:19 You know, we have to pretend sometimes. Hey, brother. Oh, hallelujah. We got to pretend sometime. Aya, thank y'all. He says those garments of pretense are taken off. Oh, when you put on your true identity, you ain't got to be fake no more. [Applause] Amen. Amen. He said, "Instead of the old worn out garments of pretense, there is a freshness about you which continues to sparkle with newness, just like the beautiful blossoms on a tree, regardless of the age of the tree. So, we continue to mirror the unfading, imperishable pattern of the exact image
20:08 of our creator." Hallelujah. Awesome. Somehow we forgot that we have been created in the exact image of our creator. Amen. Cuz you're afraid somebody will say, "Well, you know, you ain't you." What you trying to say? You God? Oh. Oh, no. I'm not God, but I am his image. You keep watching me now. Hang around me a little bit. You're gonna you're gonna you're going to see you're going to see echoes and and and and you're gonna you're going to see some stuff you read about God working through me. Hallelujah. Because that's God in me working through me. And that's why we got to walk in love and forgiveness more than anybody else. Because you can talk in tongues, you can prophesy, you can
20:55 have the greatest ministry in the world, greatest podcast in the world, but if you don't know how to walk in love, you ain't got nothing. Amen. Oh, hallelujah. I've laid hands on hundreds of thousands and they've all got healed and then shut up. Well, I want to I want you to never put your hands on me cuz I don't want that mean spirit to come on me. We got to demonstrate love. They're going to know us because of the love that we have for one another. Good lord. Now, now Jesus. So practically speaking here in this
21:41 verse, our identity is the image of Christ. Yes. And when we see him, watch this. We see ourselves. Yes. Amen. When we see him, we see ourselves. Go to 1 John chapter 4 and verse 17. When we see him, we see ourselves. Oh my gosh. This is what I'm saying. You got to practice this. You got to rehearse this. You got to tell yourself this. Every time you do something that doesn't line up with that design, you just say, "That's not me. That's not me." You let the devil and yourself know, "That's not me. Look at verse 17. Herein is our love made perfect that we may have boldness,
22:27 confidence in the day of judgment, because as he is, so are we in this world. And notice that's not past tense. That's present tense. Notice that's present. As he is, so are we in this world. That's not the future. That that that that's present identity. That's our present identity. As he is, so are we. That's our present identity. In Christ, our identity is righteous. In Christ, our identity is innocence. In Christ, loved. We're empowered. We're complete in in this union with God. That is our identity. First John um uh well 4:17 the mirror says this. He says uh so now in our awakening to our
23:13 joint inclusion in this love union, everything is perfect. Its completeness is not compromise in contradiction. Our confidence, our confident conversation echoes this fellowship even in the face of crisis because as he is, so are we in this world. Our lives are mirrored in him. There it is again. Our lives are mirrored in him. We are as blameless in this life as Jesus is. My God, we are as blameless in this life as Jesus is. Please understand, I am the righteousness of God. Not because what I did to become righteous, but I am righteous because of what Jesus did to become righteous. Jesus is my righteousness. And so I'm righteous because of Jesus. Yeah. My righteousness
23:59 is a gift. It is not something I deserve. It is a gift that has been given to me. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Thank you. And so and and so likewise, we've got to learn how to receive the gift. This perfect love union is the source of our confidence. Uh whenever we face the the scrutiny of contradiction, he says that so as he is, so are we in this world. Our lives are mirrored in him. We are as blameless. We are as blameless in this life as Jesus is. I'm as blameless. I'm as blameless as Jesus is. Part of what righteousness is is it it it's a man
24:45 that accepts righteousness as if he's never sinned. But that's hard on a lot of a lot of folks cuz they just they just can't can't get that. All right. Now, y'all ready? Y'all got all that right now? Yes, sir. Now, now my identity, I should now live from my true identity. I should live from my true identity in in my job that I'm no longer I'm working as unto the Lord. I'm not I'm not working to kiss butt. I'm working excuse me, I'm not working to kiss up. I'm I'm
25:31 working I'm working as unto the Lord. I'm I'm working from my identity. Yes. When I deal in my marriage, I I don't I'm not I'm not dealing with my marriage in pride and in ego. I remind myself of my true identity and I'm working from my true identity. You follow me? And so I'm working out of love and mercy. And then whenever you raise your voice or or you get fearful or or prideful, you say, "Ah, that's not me." Can we start over again? My wife told me something. She said, "Make sure that you are ready to always present the best version of yourself." Oh, that's good. And when you're not sure that you
26:17 can present the best version of yourself, you need to draw boundaries and say, "No, I'm not ready right now." Yeah. Because just because you're ready to have a conversation doesn't mean that your spouse is ready to have a conversation. And because they might they might not be ready to present the best version of themselves. They about ready to cuss you out because of what you said the other day. And even though that's not them, they'll remind themselves of that after they cuss you out. Then they'll bury the book of cuss where it was before they dug it up before you made a mat. You don't want to do that. You want to build boundaries and and and and limitations to say, "I I'm not ready to present the best version of me." That's good. So So give me a little bit more time. That's good. Are you following what I'm saying? Yes, sir.
27:03 So everything about our life as Christians flows out of this true identity. Shame, guilt, and condemnation comes. But that's not you anymore. And if you'll quit hiding, you'll defeat shame. Yes, sir. Yeah. Y'all ain't ready for this. Oh, see what happens sometimes in the life of men. We we sometimes there are some men they have a spirit of inferiority but they don't want somebody to know they are inferior. So they use a cover of superiority. Yes. To cover up their
27:50 inferiority. And so they get to know you through the cover. Yes. Yeah. Which means they produce a fake identity through the covers. And they live all their lives afraid that they're going to be discovered through the cover. And they don't realize if their identity is fake in a marriage, your intimate, your intimacy is going to be fake, too. And they don't realize that while they're covering up with superiority, then that superiority is going to be used to damage somebody else's life. Because I can always tell an inferior person when they try to dominate others with their fake superiority. Yeah. Yeah. Y'all ain't listening to what I'm
28:36 saying. All right. Now, now watch this. So, so like Adam and Eve, they sinned and they went and hid themselves. All right. Follow me now. They went and hid themselves. And most people think, well, God has changed his mind. Adam and Eve thought it. They hid themselves because they thought God had changed his mind about how he how he saw them. But God never changed his mind about how he saw them. The problem was Adam and Eve changed their mind about how they saw themselves. Yeah. Right. Right. It's true. Are you Are you listening to what I'm saying? Yes, sir. There's got to be something about this identity, ladies and
29:23 gentlemen. That moves Satan to make it the first line of attack. That's right. He attacked Adam and Eve in the garden. Yes. Over their identity. Cuz if they knew who they were, they wouldn't have to hear this thing about, you know, go God just, you know, wants you to know the difference between good and evil. If they knew who they really were, And then he had the mitigated golf to try that same thing on Jesus. Jesus led into the wilderness to be tempted for the days, 40 night, hungry. And the devil shows up. Old Sloohoot.
30:12 He shows up and he says, "Now watch this. If thou be, he know exactly who he was, but he he wants to make sure he knows who he is. If thou be, if you're really the son of God, turn these stones into bread. Now, I love Jesus. Check Check Check him out. Check him out. This is my boy. Check him out. Now, Jesus said, "Now, wait a minute. I can turn the stone into bread. That ain't no problem. But I'm not going to turn the stone into bread just to prove to you, yes, who I am. Cuz
30:59 I already know who I am. I don't need to turn no stone into bread. To be convinced about who I am. I know who I am. And you know who I am. It's always an attack on your identity. That's right. And you've got to remember who you are. I am the mirror image. Oh, the devil can't stand. It scares him. I mirror the image of Jesus. Jesus is what God thinks about me. Yeah, y'all didn't get that.
31:47 When God thinks about you, he settling it. Jesus is what I think about you. Well, I I I don't know. I think God thinks I'm a bad person. I think God thinks I'm no good. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. Here's what God thinks about you. He thinks about when he thinks about you, he thinks about Jesus. [Applause] How do you think that God can get over you and just throw you away and not have nothing to do with you when he created you? He He can't get over the fact that every time you breathe, that's his breath. He can't get over the fact that the blood that's running wly in your veins, he can't get over that. All right. I got to uh I'm trying to preach a
32:32 three-month message in an hour. It It ain't going to work, is it? But by the Holy Ghost, you understand what I'm saying? Here's what here. Here's what I'm talking about. I'm talking about, all right, you go to work or or or let's say fear knocks on the door. All right. Normally, you would you would get fearful. You listen to the news. You hear all the things going on. You would get fearful. You have to speak to yourself and say, "No, that's not me anymore. I don't get fearful when bad news is being broadcast. I have a spirit of love and a spirit of power and a sound mind." You have to speak to yourself. That's not me anymore
33:20 or you hold unforgiveness. You have to tell yourself that's not me anymore. Come on. And listen, this is life and either you going to do life or life going to do you. So stuff happen. That's right. Stuff happens. That's right. Oh, but I I'm a faith person and stuff going to definitely happen cuz they that live they that live godly shall suffer persecution. That's right. You know what he's saying? You must mature. Yes. Yes, sir. But you will not mature in your comfort zone. That's right. Now, that's not saying that God's sending crazy stuff at you, but if when the stuff come at you, mature, check
34:07 this out. The the the the boys in the fiery furnace. Yeah. Jesus did not take away the fire out of the furnace. Right. Right. That's right. That's right. Yes. See, you keep asking him, "Take it away, Lord. Take this away from me. Take this pain away from me. Take this this this debt away from me. Take it away." And God like, "No, we going to use this. It's time for you to mature. We going to use this." Yes, sir. And notice what he did. I'm not going to take the fire out the furnace, but I tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to get in the furnace with you. Praise God. And we going to develop a relationship
34:54 in this furnace. And you going to know me in this furnace. I believe a fourth man is ready to go with you everywhere you go. He didn't kill the lions when Daniel was in the lion den. Just like he didn't put out the fire with Shadrach, Mach, and that bad Negro. Oh, somebody got offended. Tell yourself, "That's not me no more." No. No. I don't get offended no more. No, no, no, no, no. That's not me no more. No. Don't just sit up there and just let it fester. You have to be careful, especially in the area of unforgiveness.
35:40 It's so easy for you to say, "I forgive you." And and it's just you're just saying it. I forgive you. Mhm. But I tell you what, I ain't going to never forget it. I might forgive you, but Mhm. So, what happens with that person who refuses to let the forgiveness goes, it starts boiling and simmering on the inside of you and it develops bitterness. That's it. And bitterness will trouble you. Bitterness will make you sick. Bitterness
36:26 is one of the elements that can cause you to commit murder. That's right. That's right. Bitter. Watch this. That's not me. You start talking to yourself. Psalms, hymn, spiritual. I don't I don't have bitterness. I refuse it. I I resist it. I'm almost where I want to be. I resist bitterness. That ain't me. I ain't doing that. Everything I do in this Christian life, I do it from that true identity. From that Jesus identity, even when I pray. Yes. Uh oh. Even when I pray, if I pray from my true
37:12 identity, I'm not trying to reach heaven and begging God to try to do something for me. Come on. In my true identity, I'm seated with him. I am complete in him. I am seated with him. Oh, glory to God. I'm seated with him in heavenly places. Some of y'all still wonder if you're going to go to heaven. How you think you going to miss heaven when you're sitting there? You got a seat. I am seated with him in heavenly places. Woo! Glory to God. I'm seated with him in heavenly places. I am complete. I am righteous. I am forgiven. I am seated with him. I was buried with him. I was
37:59 resurrected with him. I was raised with him. I am seated with him. Why am I holling and screaming trying to reach heaven? [Music] All right. Now, watch this. Because everything that I'll ever need has already been finished. That's right. It's called the finished works of Jesus. Amen. My righteousness is finished. Yes, sir. All right. I'm going somewhere now. Stay with me. Yes, sir. My righteousness is finished. My redemption is finished. My sanctification is finished.
38:47 It's It's finished. My holiness is finished. Listen, holiness is not a behavior. Holiness is a person. Oh, that's tripping some of y'all out. And that's the problem. You've been You Jesus said it's finished and you still trying to be holy. Yeah. I'm telling you, I'm holy just like I'm righteous. Mhm. Yeah. Well, you know, you know, you know, you just got to behave right. You just be what he says you are and the behavior will follow suit. Your problem is is you keep trying to perfect what's already perfect. Jesus has been made unto me
39:33 righteousness, redemption, sanctification, which is holiness, perfection, and that's my that's my true identity. I am righteous now. Yeah, but you didn't look so righteous last night. I'm righteous now. See, that's the battle. The battle is, will you allow what you did last night and him shaming you for what you did last night to step down from who you are? You you received it. That's all right. That's right. That's right. That's right. Yeah. Amen. What did you do to be redeemed? Please
40:18 tell me the part you played, Bubba. What did you do to be holy and sanctified? Well, you don't look holy to me. Well, you need to look hard enough cuz I am holy. That's right. That's right. See, when you're serious about living from your identity, you're not going to shame me out of my identity. You're not going to condemn me out of my identity. That's the whole battle. The battle is the storm is going to come to try to see if it can get you out of your identity. All right. All right. All right. So, so I'm there. I'm there now. Now, I need the Holy Ghost to give me the proper articulation now. Now, now. So, so everything flows from my my Jesus identity. Yes. Everything flows from my
41:08 true identity. And I I study more and I learn more and more about who I am. But I settle it right now. I I am a mirror image of him. You got to understand God has already seen the end. Yes, he has. And he told you about it at the beginning. And you questioning what he's already seen that you ain't seen. Yeah. Be careful about who you think going to be in heaven and who ain't going to be in heaven. You just better be glad you there already. Well, he ain't going to heaven. He killed somebody. So did Moses and Paul and and who else? David. David. So if the murderers can make it in, I think y'all going to be all right.
41:54 [Applause] All right. Now, watch this. Help me, Lord. So, Oh, God. Help me. I see it. Give me the way to say it. Once you you have to now rest in your true identity. Amen. Okay, follow me now. Uh let me give you a couple more words so you can really embrace what I'm saying. You have to rest in this true
42:40 identity. You have to remain in alignment with this true identity. Amen. So, we've had a lot of storms lately and uh you have satellite dishes on your house and sometimes the storms will knock the satellite dish to the left. Yeah. And you don't pick up nothing in your receiver. There's nothing wrong with the satellite. It's just a storm came by and moved the satellite. So, all you got to do now is to get somebody on the roof
43:27 to get your satellite adjusted and put back in alignment. Yes, sir. That's what this Christian life is about. Yes. Satan throws storms to try to get you out of alignment. And you got to realize, wait a minute, this is not a crisis. I just need to [Applause] Your Christian life is about recognizing. Yes. What's that? What is that I said the other day? Yeah. It's about remembering and responding.
44:14 Remembering your true identity and responding appropriately. It's about alignment. It's about alignment, ladies and gentlemen. It's about alignment. Jesus said, "Whatever the father do, that's what I do." It's about alignment. If things are going crazy right now, get in alignment. Yeah. But I still feel the same way. We ain't living by those things. Get in alignment. Now, I'm not saying you're emotionless cuz you have emotions, but you got to make sure that the negative emotions don't move you in the wrong directions. Emotions move you in a direction. Make sure you don't have negative emotions. That that's what that look what look what I'm saying. Negative emotions. Watch your dish. Moving you in the wrong direction. Still, it's an
45:00 alignment issue. It's still an alignment issue, guys. Whatever is happening or not happening in your life tonight is an issue of alignment. Aligning with what? Aligning with the finished works. Righteousness is a finished work. Uh healing is a finished work. Now, I had the Lord say this to me. Your prosperity is a finished work. Your prosperity is as finished as your righteousness is. I I know. I know what you're thinking about now. I'm getting ready to say some stuff now. Y'all y'all you got to go with me. Last week I was in San Diego and I and I was I just came out and preached. I had no notes, no Bible, nothing. I like, Lord, help me. I was in
45:46 five different paths at one time. I had to get everybody in the congregation. You get that path. You get that path. You get that path so I can close them up. All right. Now, listen to me now. There is a difference between self effort and I'll call it two things until you get what I'm saying. Self effort and permitted effort. In other words, I call it permitted effort because the new covenant still requires effort, but it's not the same kind of effort as the old covenant required. All right, let me explain myself. I now want to call permitted effort redeemed effort. Now follow me carefully here. Oh
46:33 Jesus, we on a trail, ain't we? We sniffing this thing out like a hound dog, boy. We're going to find that bone. All right. Self effort was your effort to try to produce what Jesus has finished. Self-effort is you're working to try to be righteous. You're working to try to be redeemed. You're working to try to do all those things. But those were all gifts. They were gifted to us by Jesus Christ. Now, watch this. So, is effort still required? Yeah. Now, under the new covenant, our effort has been redeemed. Hallelujah. to where
47:20 we're no longer having to earn what Jesus has already finished, but now the effort we used is effort that is applied to our relationship and our intimacy as we are now moving from the finished works of Jesus. Your identity is a finished work. You didn't be trying to get your ident. He already finished your identity. But he can't make you pray. He not going to make you come to church. He not going to make you sit in his presence. He not going to make you give. He ain't going to make you do none of that. That's redeemed effort. That's effort in the new covenant that says the Holy Ghost is going to partner with you to help enhance, not enhance, but stay
48:08 in alignment with what Jesus has already finished. All right. Now, watch this. Give you two examples and then move on. Philippians chapter 2, I think it's verse uh 12 and 13. He says, "Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." So that sounds like, well, he told us to work out our salvation. No, no, no. He's responsible for the salvation and you ain't you can't get salvation in, you know, you can't work it out unless he put it in, right? But the next verse says, "Work out your sal own salvation for it is he look at the partnership. It is he that workketh in you to give you the power and the desire to do what pleases him. So this redeemed effort is partnering with the Holy Ghost. Praise God. To help you to do what's necessary to stay in alignment.
48:59 Hebrews chapter 4 10 uh 10 and 11. Put it up for a moment. There's a word called labor. Yeah. That's what I'm trying to to to define under this new covenant labor. All right. Now, watch this. Uh for he that is entered into his rest. Rest. Yeah. Entered into the rest. Entered into the rest. I'll submit to you because I don't have time to preach two sermons on it, but I have the rest is the finished work, right? The done deal. The thing that Jesus did perfectly that you can't you and I can't
49:46 improve on. Amen. Enter into the rest. Now, notice what it said. He also has ceased from his own works as God did from his. Next verse. Verse 11, let us labor. Now that's weird. Now you telling us to rest now you saying labor. Let us labor therefore to enter that rest. Hallelujah. H glory to God. He didn't say labor to be righteous. He didn't say labor to be redeemed. He didn't say labor to be holy. He didn't say labor to prosper. He didn't say labor to get healed. He said labor to
50:31 enter into the rest. In other words, those things are finished. I need you to to labor or to align yourself or oh, glory to God. To do what's necessary to stay at rest. Do what you got to do to stay at rest. Let let me let me let me go another let me go to a let me go another way. So Jesus somebody said that's good. It ain't good of me. I need to feel it in my gut. All right. So So Jesus died to obtain all the things that were finished. Let's call it your victory. Jesus died to
51:17 obtain your victory. Right. We don't need you to climb on the cross and shed your little blood to do what Jesus has perfectly done. But now here what we need you to do cuz you got a part in this. Here's your effort. Your job is to maintain what Jesus obtained. Come on. All right. Now, watch this. The maintaining part is called labor. So now, what does labor look like? Here's what labor looks like. You're the righteousness of God. A storm comes to try to knock you off your righteousness.
52:03 And there are several practical things you do. I'm going to get in the word and study what the word says about me being righteous. I'm going to go and pray and begin to thank God for my righteousness. I am going to listen to teachings that that the thing I'm going to sing songs about my righteousness. I'm going to worship him over my right. I'm going to get in gratitude over my righteousness. What is all of that? That's labor. That's what labor looks like. It's labor to stay at rest. That's what that is. And and you see what I'm saying? I'm going to sit in the presence of God to remain in my righteousness. Can you see God ain't going to make you pray, read the word,
52:50 uh, sing the song. See, I got a song when when it it it work for almost anything. Anytime I get on attack, I pull that song out and I sense the presence of the Lord and I'm like, "Devil, you need to go and get up out of here." I'm from college. Paul, we going to bust your head open, bro. You need to go. And I maintain my stance. Good. Amen. I'm laboring to rest. Some of you think it's just enough to know it, but what you know, you got to rehearse. You understand what I'm saying? Yes. So, my prosperity is a finished work until something doesn't come through and it wants to knock you off of here's here's what you got to understand. I am motivated to give in the celebration of
53:35 God's care for me. The only people that have a problem giving is somebody that doesn't believe and trust that God will take care of them. You ain't You ain't going to give cuz I don't believe I don't believe God can take care of me. So, I'm going to keep this little $5 cuz you know, you never know. You never know. You never know. And my deal is keep it. I don't want it anyway if you don't want to give it in celebration of what I do. I don't want nothing from you that you got to make yourself. I got you a shirt for Christmas. I sure didn't want to get you this shirt. You don't know what I went through to get you this shirt. And then you throw it at me. I'm like, boy, I don't want this old shirt. Take it back. I ain't want it in the first place. I don't even like your little
54:20 shirt anyway. Now you just as bad as he is. [Applause] labor to rest in your true identity. Amen. Means no, that's not me no more. Yeah. Right. Means when fear knocks on the door. I don't have fear no more. That's not me anymore. I have a spirit of love and and and and and power. I have a sound mind. That's laboring to rest in your true identity. That's right. Amen. Yeah. Even when you fall into something, you got to get up laboring
55:07 to get back in the line with what's already done. You're not laboring to to to to get your true identity. Your true identity is already done. That's right. You're laboring to stay in sync. Stay in sync with your identity. Oh Jesus. Now I'm telling you right now in the name of Jesus, everything flows from that. Now it does. Everything flows from who you believe you are. It's not an arrogance, but it is a tremendous confidence that needs to be developed. That's right. That this is who I am. Now you see the battle. a
55:53 storm's coming. You're like, "Bring it on. Come on. Bring it on." Because your storm's not gonna change who I am. And if I have stuff going on trying to contradict my victory of and my identity, I just start laboring to rest. I'm laboring to rest. So, I'm not just reading the word so I can try to show you I'm just such a spiritual giant. You're a little You No, I'm I'm I'm This is my labor. When I see people praying and I see people giving and I see people in the word and I see people singing, I'm thinking, boy, they they they aligning they they are lining their dish. Come on. Yeah, that
56:39 what they doing. Oh, I Oh, the devil having a hard time. They they getting that thing in line. Come on. When I see people just just quit, I don't want no word no more. Like you know all there is to know about God. Are you kidding me? One who's so high and so wide and so deep now you done come to a conclusion of who who you think you believe you know all about God. Are you if I wasn't under a covenant of temperature I'd slap your jaws. I got that from from my dad. So [Music] alignment, alignment, alignment. Well, I'm not prospering. Well, you might be out of line. That's just like a guy that says,
57:25 "Well, I can't get the channel." He just need to get get your alignment back. Come on. Oh, well. Oh, my my healing. I don't I don't know what my healing is. You stay with it now. You see, God ain't going to get on your time clock. You need to understand that now. Yes. Yes. You have got to understand that you got to be in this thing. Amen. You got to be in this thing because of the relationship and not because of what you going to get out of it. That's right. That's good. Most of us have been trained in a transactional relationship instead of a relational relationship. When you have a relationship with God, um, You're in it for the relationship.
58:11 And you know that what you expect comes from a relationship of somebody that loves you and has character. In other words, God's going to be good to you because God's good. That's right. You don't have to cut a deal with him. It's not let's make a deal with God in order to get his goodness. Are y'all listening to me? Some of you getting others like what the I' I've gone through this. I've gone through this. I uh several months ago, I was telling brother Copeland, I didn't we didn't publicize this, but I was attacked back to back to back to back. My uh physical body first uh had blood clots
58:58 around my lungs, then I was attacked for the second time with cancer. Mhm. Uh I tried to hide it by getting smaller suits, but eventually people were like them suits real small and then uh a a perfect pattern shingles. Now y'all know shingles is the devil. It ain't like the devil. It is the devil. And uh wow, I saw myself in the mirror as 152 pounds and I was like, "Wow." So
59:44 I believed I was healed, but my mind was trying to do something else. Yeah. Why God? And I learned out of that experience. Anytime you go through something, don't leave don't leave the wisdom in the wilderness. Good word. God said, "Don't ever ask me why you're going through something." Always ask, "What do you want me to get out of this?" Change the question. Thank you, sir. And I was I was Lord, you know, you know, I thought I was your man. I thought, love, did I do something? Look, look at this. Did Did I miss something? Did Did I God, what's what's going on? And uh I remember going in for treatment
1:00:33 and when I was going in for that treatment, it started working and uh I gave it a week to see if it would stain s be sustained. It didn't. It went right back. And I I lost it. I was like, I I don't I don't know what's going on. My little daughter's in there and Taffy came in. She said, "You did nothing wrong." She knew right away your antenna's been blown out the way. She said, "Now we know what we got to do." And I had a breakthrough operation. Only 300 people had gotten it. And um it took four hours to do it because my insides wouldn't be still,
1:01:20 right? And they did it. It was completely totally successful. And uh let me let me tell you something about being vulnerable. I used to be afraid to be vulnerable cuz word of faith people would judge you and say you ain't got enough faith. There you go. Until I saw this dude in John chapter nine that was born blind. Yes. And immediately the disciples thought he sin. Who sin? Yeah. And that's what a lot of preachers thought. Oh, you better not tell them you're sick. No, they going to want to You must have sinned. He said, "Nobody sin, but that my glory might be seen."
1:02:07 Yes, sir. And I got through that. And uh them blood clots came and I got through that. Then the singles came. That was the most horrible painful thing. And it went from my back to my brain every 38 seconds and knocked me to my knees. And I said, "God, I need to know if your grace is sufficient or not. I know it was sufficient for Paul, but is it sufficient for Crelo Dollar? I need to know." And I did that for a moment. Then I had an engagement. And I put a big old shirt on and I said, "I need to know if your grace is sufficient." And I went and I sat in the chair and I
1:02:54 preached my black tail off. What am I doing? I'm laboring. I'm laboring trying to get that antenna lined up. What? What? What? What? What healing is already done? Finished. Uh, in the midst of that, now this is going to really minister to you. And and like I said, vulnerability. First of all, you got to learn how to be vulnerable with yourself. Then you got to be vulnerable with God. And then you got to be very careful if you choose to be vulnerable with a person because you can't be vulnerable with everybody. Don't be going around talking about, "Well, I'm saved." And then you be vulnerable with them. No, you very careful about that. But vulnerability could be the most productive weapon that we have
1:03:43 cuz this generation coming up Here's what they want. They want something that's real. All right. And so I was at a place where I'm tired, man. I had traveled 8 and a half million miles around the world. I'm I'm tired. And I said, "Okay." So, I was I had a weird experience. I cannot explain. But I I I was there, but I wasn't there. And the Lord said, "If you uh" He said, "Son, it's not hard to go over. All you got to do is make your mind up and you just go on over." I said, "Yeah." He
1:04:29 said, "But if you do that, you're just going to leave a whole bunch of hurt people." He said, "Besides all that, it took me all these years to get you ready, and you're ready now." And I paused and I said, "What are you talking about?" I thought I what I been doing for 8 and 1/2 million miles. What I've been doing. I said, "What do you mean, Lord?" He said, "You're finally delivered from approval addiction where you don't need anybody's validation to do what I tell you to do." And he says, "Now I can use you."
1:05:18 And I said, "Okay, let's do it." He said, "I'll restore you better than what you were. Physically, I'm better than what I've ever been in my life. Physically, my age thing they test is going backwards." Amen. Amen. Except for this little old kid. One time when I had my beard all out, he came and looked up at me. He said, "You old. Look who your mom and dad are, boy. All of that was designed to get my dish offline. Sure. Yeah.
1:06:08 And I had to labor to get it back. I I wasn't laboring to get healed, right? I was laboring to get at rest. Yeah. with what had already been finished. You understand what I'm saying? Laboring to get at rest with already been finished. Everything I'm living from my identity. I'm not doing things to to to to to get my true identity. I'm living from it. And so, are you willing to practice it? Yes, sir. And rehearse it? Yes, sir. and remind yourself, yeah, that's not me. That's not me. If you got some, and y'all know how I am, I'm always keep
1:06:54 racism in front of you so you don't ever forget it. But if you got somebody in the family that put a little racism on the inside of you and it pops up, you got to tell yourself, "That ain't me. That ain't me. I don't do that no more. I I live from my true identity, not my phony identity. I live from my true identity. I move the covers off. I'm not producing a fake a fake uh uh intimacy anymore. That's the worst kind of thing in the world. They've been been knowing you for 30 years and we spent 30 years getting to know the identity that was produced through your cover.
1:07:40 So, yeah. I got a hund more things to say, but I I think I'm going I think I'm going to stop right there. You get anything out of this tonight? The greatest deliverance you will ever experience, yes, it's true, is deliverance from people. Which means you're going to have to learn how to draw boundaries. And you're going to have to teach people that no is a complete sentence. [Applause]
1:08:26 That's really good. And if people don't value your presence, they need to become acquainted with your absence. [Applause] Amen. You got to learn how to value you the way God values you. You got to learn how to how to build some boundaries, too. Cuz sometimes you go to helping somebody before you need to do something. It ain't none of your business. You ain't asked God about it. And now you end up hurting the whole process and it's going to take twice the time to get it back where it was. Sometimes you got to give some people some let.
1:09:13 Amen. I got to get on back to Atlanta. I have completely and thoroughly enjoyed myself and uh I uh I got a chance to see John, my brother, and hug up on brother Copelan. And I ain't I ain't had a chance to do that with my sister here. I miss you so much. Oh. Oh, praise God. Amen. I miss you. He has brought a word from the Lord of deliverance for us. And you need to take it right now. And even if there's a part
1:10:00 where you're like, I don't get that. That seems like it's different than what we've heard. Abs, we don't know it all. We're God's trying so hard to He's doing the work of getting it to us and all we have to do is say yes Lord. Yes Lord and bow down and he will show us. He will make it all understandable and then we'll be he'll be putting something else on as soon as we think we get it and this is where we're at and we just have to bow our knee. His lordship and maybe that's the way you even came into the gospel in the first place. Here we are again. where we repent and we say, "Lord, like my mother's prayer, our mother's prayer, take my life." Yeah. Can't we pray that
1:10:47 again? Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Take my life and do something with it. And we receive Greo the word that you brought. We receive Jesus pouring out of you today. Yeah. And we receive this word of life that we are who you have made us. We receive the finished work of the cross and the resurrection and we have been risen. Yes. We have been raised up with you. Yes. And the likeness. Yeah. Of your holiness. Yeah. Thank you, my brother. God. Thank you. Amen. Amen. Amen. Well,
1:11:37 I um Amen. Praise God. Y'all have a good one.
