00 I'm 23 years old and there's a lot of skills I wish I would have learned earlier, but it's either because I never got introduced to them or I never understood the importance of them. So, I'm going to tell you the 23 skills you need to learn before 23 years old. From mental to social to fitness and finally financial skills. Starting with mental. Number one is how to learn anything fast. If you feel like you're not a fast learner, trust me, neither was I. What helped me was using things like active recall, watching tutorials or YouTube videos, and constantly trying new things. Because with anything, you'll learn a lot quicker by doing through experiences rather than memorize it. Number two, how to delay gratification. It's very easy to chase that instant satisfaction because we are feeling how we're feeling right now. So, you want to feel great right now. But often times that comes at the sacrifice of your

46 future self. So, delayed gratification is doing the opposite. essentially putting more effort and suffering right now to make it easier for your future self. A very simple example is making your bed in the morning. This way, your future self that goes to bed that night has a nicely made bed instead of leaving it for your future self and then you have to make your bed at night. Or it can be more complex, putting more effort into your diet and your exercises right now so that your future self in a few months has your dream physique. Number three, how to build and stick to routine. Your routines shape your results. So once I had a good morning, daily, and night routine, I felt like I was in control of everything and I was on track to achieving my goal. And you don't need a 10-step checklist. Just two to three priorities you want to do every single day. Have them in your routine and make sure every single day, it's a non-negotiable. You do them. Number

32 four, how to stay calm under pressure. When stress hits, an argument, a job interview, your reaction matters more than the situation. And in those moments, you need to learn to pause, breathe, and act with logic rather than letting your emotions take over. Because if you act out of impulse, you'll end up making a decision that you will later regret. Number five, how to stop overthinking and take action. You watching this right now have your dreams, have your ambitions, and you imagine them. You think about them, and often you overthink about them as well. The difference with someone that accomplishes their dreams and their ambitions versus someone that doesn't is simply taking action rather than always thinking about it. And the reality is you will never be fully ready. You need to just start and figure it out as you go. Number six, how to be alone without

17 being lonely. People often link being lonely with being alone. But in reality, being lonely is not being happy alone. You need to learn to be happy in your own presence. Learning to enjoy your own company makes you more grounded. At the end of the day, it's all you have. It's just yourself. And alone time isn't sad. It can actually be the most powerful thing for you. Getting into social skills. Number seven, how to make small talk without feeling awkward. Small talk is the beginning to every interaction you will ever have, big or small. Whether it's meeting your future boss, whether it's meeting someone you're going to start a business with, or whether it's meeting a new friend. What helped me with being good at small talk is simply being curious and observant. So, asking questions that you're curious about, observing details. People love to be attended to. If you ask them questions about themselves, they will love you. Number eight, how to tell a

04 story that keeps people engaged. Storytelling is a skill you will use a lot. It's the best way to get people's attention, whether it's with sales, whether it's with talking to girls or making new friends. And the key is that no matter how excited you are about the plot of the story, you have to build anticipation before getting to the plot. That's how you hook people. That's how you keep them engaged throughout the story, and that's how you make them remember. Number nine, how to stop being awkward around girls. It's nerve-wracking to talk to girls because when you approach them, you have an end goal. I want to get her number. I want to take her out, but you don't want to get rejected. The best thing I've learned is talk to girls without intentions, without an end goal. Let the conversation play out and whatever happens happen. And treat them like a normal person. Talk to them as if you're talking to your friends. Have your own comedic style that you use, your own style of talking, the way you carry

50 yourself, and if you're playful instead of performative, the pressure disappears. Number 10, how to deal with confrontation. You're going to deal with confrontations in the workplace, in social settings, in relationships, and your reaction matters the most. You don't want to be the type that raises their voice, loses their temper. You want to be able to stay composed. Eliminate your ego from the situation. That's a massive thing. And deal with it like a man straight on. Whatever the problem is, you address it calmly. This will make you the bigger person in these situations and make you deal with confrontations better. Number 11, how to read a room. Social cue. You need to learn how to read body languages, tones, energies, how people are acting, replying to you, and be able to extrapolate and understand how people are feeling in social setting. Is it a playful setting where you can make more

36 jokes? Is it a serious setting? Is it your time to talk or have you been talking too much and you should hold back a bit and listen? Number 12, how to talk to anyone, even people above you. There's a book called The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Green. I'm sure you've heard of it. And the first law in that book is never outshine the master. Instead, you have to in a manipulative way kind of get on their good side. Because whether it's your boss, whether it's somebody in your industry above you, they are your gate. They are your door to whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. So, you have to get on their good side and know how to work with them in order to get what you want. And the best way to do that is by simply helping them. Getting into the fitness and health skills. Number 13 is how to cook. If you're serious about fitness, if you're serious about getting in shape, 80% of your results is your diet and

21 what you put into your body. And in order to keep up with that, be consistent with it, you need to know how to cook meals that taste good but are also healthy for you, providing you your calorie intake, your protein intake. Number 14, how to out with proper form. When I was a teenager and I started to work out, I was ego lifting a bit and I ended up getting a partial rotator cuff tear. And since that day, it made me value warming up and working out with proper form so much more. Because you're young, it doesn't mean you're invincible. You need to make sure to work out with proper form to avoid injuries and maximize your progress. Number 15, how to build a workout plan that aligns with your goal. You can't just do random workouts and expect to see results. Are you trying to bulk, cut, get stronger? Your workouts should match your goal. Number 16, how to get quality sleep every night. We glorify grinding, working hard, and staying up

08 late. But sleep, your recovery is literally where your body and your brain recovers. you need it to best perform throughout the day. So, have a good night routine, whether it's avoiding blue light, journaling, reading. Number 17, how to maintain a grooming and a self-care routine. I've made many videos on full grooming routines you can do, so you can check those out. But these are first impressions people notice from you, how clean you are, how your haircut is, how your skin is, how you smell, and this all comes from your grooming and your self-care routine. So, make sure to have a proper one and stay consistent to it. Number 18, how to prevent burnout. You can't just go hard forever. In order to perform at your best, you need to have times where you recharge. So, you need to be able to read yourself and understand when you need and when you deserve some time to recharge for yourself. Now, getting into the financial skills. Number 19, how to

54 track your spending, especially nowadays with Apple Pay or tapping your card. It's so easy to spend money until the end of the month comes, you see your credit card bill or you see your bank account deducted and you realize, damn, I spent a lot more money than I would have wanted to. So, you need to learn how to budget. How much money every month do you want to put aside to save and invest? How much do you want to spend for fun? How much do you need to spend for bills, groceries, etc.? Number 20, how to build a credit score. Eventually, if you want to loan money for anything, to buy a car, to buy a house, to make an investment, you need to have a good credit score. And in order to build a good credit score, you get a credit card, you make spendings with that credit card, and you pay it off in time. What I personally do that allows me to have a credit score of over 800 is that as soon as I get a new credit card, I call my bank and I tell them, "Set up my card for automatic payment." So that at the end of each

40 month, automatically without me having to manually do it, my credit card gets paid off. Number 21, how to sell unwanted items. This is a skill and a habit. You have a lot of things around your room that are collecting dust that you can exchange right now for money by simply posting it on Facebook Marketplace. Number 22, how to start making money online. Again, I've made many videos on this topic. How to make money online, the best side hustles to start. So, you can check out those videos. But we are living in a digital age and right now the social media industry is becoming a multibillion dollar industry. There's so many outlets within it to make money online. So, unless you want to be left behind, you need to learn and inform yourself about it. Number 23, how to negotiate without being scared. Listen, bro. Everything in life is negotiable. Whether it's pay, deals, rates, relationships, you just

27 need to be willing to ask to make an offer because what's the worst case scenario? You simply get a no. Like and subscribe for more videos. Love you guys.
