0:00 Listen, Don Staley's contract is up in 20 2029 2030 with the University of South Carolina. She's getting around 25.2 mil. Annually, she gets 4 mil. You understand? Four to like four to five mil. But she got these little annual escalators, if you will, of increases of 250K, plus she had a $500,000 signing bonus. And so that's what got it to like around 25 mil. Uh, and she renegotiated and got that deal done in 2025. And so, which is this this year, but it
0:46 it ends in 2030, like around 2030. So that's when the Philly team will be there in 2030 and that's when Don leaves South Carolina. I've been saying this for years and years. If the WNBA put a team in Philly, Don is leaving. I know people say Don says she'll never leave South Carolina. Don is lying. Okay, that's enough time for Don to have done like whatever she needed to do in South Carolina by 2030, she got it all out of her system. You understand? and she's ready for something new. I know she she said, "Oh, she don't want to coach. Oh, that's BS." Listen, Don is out of here. Okay, she's out of here. 2030, Don is done. It's
1:32 over with. That's it. She's out of here. And she's coaching the Philly team. And that's another opportunity for her and Asia to team back up with each other. And I believe Asia Wilson that would be too tempted for her not to want to play with Don Staley in 2030. I think Asia will want to team back up and hoop with Don. That's what I believe. That's just what I believe. I believe Don goes to Philly, coaches that team in Philly. And I believe Asia Wilson just couldn't wait for the opportunity to play with Don, play for Don again. And I think that's something Dona really love to do to go ahead and coach Asia one more time like that outside of the
2:19 Olympics, but just like one more time. Um, and that'll be a new challenge for Vine as well. So that's really what that's all about. So yeah, that's that's just what I believe. You know, I'm happy that Philly got their team. When I first started all of this expansion talk like nine years ago, Philly, I brought up Philly. I brought up Miami again and I brought up Miami because I really believe he that the NBA wanted to be in another tax-free state there in Texas, but another tax-free state, but also just having an allstar game in Miami, all of this other stuff. It's a destination spot. So, I figured that something go back to Miami and but so far that's
3:07 not what they did, you know. I also felt that potentially they would want to go to another market that they haven't been to before. So I brought up St. Louis and I know Kansas City was in play as Apache Mahomes and his wife, but I felt like St. Louis would be the best. St. Louis is hungry for a professional team and anytime they can get any semblance of a professional team, they just show up like you see in the UFFL show. So I was like St. Louis, Miami, Philly, and then I said they need to bring back the Houston. They need to bring the Houston back. So
3:54 we know Houston want their team back. They already got a group they're putting together to try to get the Houston comments back in Houston. So that's a tax-free state as well. Houston Comics means so much to this league. Four championships in a row compete with that. So I felt like that's something that they would want to do potentially show to end up coaching that team. Listen, that coaching staff might be Shur, Tina Thompson, you know, Cynthia Cooper. Like, it wouldn't shock me. And but that's sort of what that is, but we'll see where that goes. Like I said, I've been saying this for over 10 years. They need to finally do a 30 for 30 on the
4:39 Houston comments. We got some people putting they put together their own little documentary on the Houston comments, but we need we need comments, you know, so the world can see it. And I think ESPN should be the one to do it. I think ESPN should should actually do it and put it on ESPN. That's pretty serious. But yeah, that just sort of how that goes. I told you I told everyone before anyone ever knew about it. I said they were going to put a team in Detroit. I told you about the ownership group that they put together.
5:28 So the Cavs he wanted to he's in on the ownership and then the CEO of Motor Fors. So that's the only after I made that video a while ago, I told you guys to watch this conference they had on YouTube several weeks ago. It's a little over 30 minutes and put it all together talking about Detroit and bringing the Detroit shot back to Detroit. And so that's what that was. But obviously the the first team joining will be the Cavs. Let's talk about Cavs. The Cleveland Rockers. I'm not sure if they're gonna keep calling themselves the Cleveland Rockers, but anyway, the Cleveland
6:14 Rockers. That's 2028. And then in 2029, you get Detroit. And then in 2030, you get the Philly team. So what's what's that going to do? That's going to bring the league to 18 teams. Understand that's going to bring the league to 18 teams because next season the league will have 15 teams. And you add those three teams teams. Like I said before, I think the league is going to want to try to get to 20, okay, and cut it off at 20. You would say, what are the other two teams coming in now? But we know Colorado, Denver, they've been trying to get one. So, you got to think about that. And then, like I said before, I
7:02 truly believe instead they're going to be out of Houston, Houston, Nashville, because they're trying to get a team to put together ownership. Um, or it's going to be Miami. They have to come back to Florida. Now, the only reason why they might not want to come back to Florida is because of, you know, all of this conservative MAGA BS. Ronda Santz and all that garbage. So, you never know what's going on with that. But if they get a if they end up by that time, if they end up getting a Democrat in a white house and a Senate in the House is mostly controlled by Democrats and I think they'll go back to Miami. But as long as that stuff is controlled,
7:48 As long as that stuff is controlled by Republicans and by MAGA, I think they might try to stay away. I think they might try to stay away from Florida. Now, listen, Texas is a red state, too, but just I think they would still choose Houston anyway because of what it means, you know, with the Houston Conference. So, so maybe Florida is out of the question for the WFPA. Dude, though, you got to think about Colorado and you got to think about Nashville. Colorado. has been something that they seriously been considering. So yeah, definitely got to think about that. But like I said before,
8:35 the problem the problem with it all problem with it all is the talent pool in college. Bro, these are five minute quarters. Well, may maybe this works. Maybe this work. I didn't want it to be five minute quarters, but yeah, like I said before, yo, I don't like that this is five minute quarters. I can't do that, son. Let's quit that. I don't like that these are five minute quarters. That's on me. I want these people to get their real stats. Like, what is this? Yeah, that's on me. Yeah, that's on me.
9:22 Let me make sure everything copathetic, man. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Yo, that's on me. That's on me. That's on me. Yeah. So, that's the new wave, man. No socks, but really socks, but just not ankles, like footy socks that don't even show up to the ankles. That's the new wave. That's the new flow right there. My girl Sparkle. All right, let me make sure that this freaking audio is where it needs to be still. Make sure that All right, let's log. All right. Yeah. So, the problem is that
10:09 the talent pool can't support that many teams. You see, right now, even with just one expansion team, it's just bad basketball. Part of the problem is that they went and got eight new coaches, even though Stephanie White isn't a new coach, but technically eight new coaches. So, that doesn't help. And then even just adding 13 teams, man, adding an extra team is it diluted it. Now, there are women who should be in the WNBA who are not in the WNBA. So once again, we're going back to my original suggestion many many years ago about increased roster size, you know, and um so now that's obviously making making waves. So we'll see where that goes. They've been canvasing that.
10:56 So we'll see where that goes. But you know, so you can imagine what it's going to look like next year with 15 teams. So, we're bringing in two new teams next season, which that's double expansion draft. A lot of player movement, and you got to keep women in this league, uh, who shouldn't be in this league. You got to bring in some younger players from the States and overseas who probably shouldn't even be in the WNBA and shouldn't be getting minutes that they'll be getting. And then there's more new coaches with new staffs. And so the product is going to look bad. And then boom, by 2030 you have 18 teams and you just don't have a talent pool to
11:42 be able to to produce a high quality product. And so that's that's the problem. That's the problem. It's just not enough. It's just not enough. And so there in lies the problem. Kind of hurt. Kind of hurting at that point. Kind of hurting at that point. And the product is going to look bad now. Can you imagine them adding 20 teams by 2032 adding 20 teams? Product is pissed for pissed for absolutely pissed for. And next thing you know, the WNBA, they're going to have to have a conversation with the
12:28 NCAA. They're gonna have to make sure that they're using their own resources to build up AAU teams and and make sure that they're funding AAOU teams and putting in their own people to develop and coach these girls at the AAU level to make sure that they're working on fundamentals and different skills that they need to have. And when they get to college, they have they have to have a conversation with the NCAA because the these coaches in college are hurting. They're hurting the product in the WNBA because they're not training these players. They're not developing these players for the pro level. And this is why the WNBA, they keep going overseas because these overseas players are
13:13 really skilled or fundamentally sound. Most of them are better point guards overseas, like pure point guards. These women are skilled on all three levels for the most part. And so just one of those situations where this is why a lot of women in America, they're getting phased out, you know, and part of that issue is because can't find pure point guards, black fundamentals, not skilled enough, you know, it's it's just bad. Even on defense, the defense is terrible as well. So they got to keep running overseas. You got to keep running overseas instead of closing out.
13:59 And by the time 2030 rolls around, we're going to see a lot of foreign players in this league. A lot of foreign players. A lot of foreign players, y'all. And you got to point your fingers at college. You got to point your fingers at college. You got to point your fingers at the AAU level. There's only so much these high school coaches can do. There's only so much that they can do because these girls are taught bad habits in the in the AAU circuit taught a lot of bad habits and the high school coach obviously they can only do so much with these players. And so it's they're really dependent on college when they get to college and then the college
14:44 coaches literally are saying it's not up to us to develop these women for the next level. These coaches don't want to get fired and so they want to stick with their system and they're not here to let these women develop properly. That's just what it is. And so, you know, you're running into a lot of issues. They're also not teaching these women a lot of go-to moves and counter moves with their digs or forwards. So, they're pretty basic. You know, it's just over the shoulder or up and under or drop step and that's as far as it goes. Well, if you're a big, you know, they're not really technically letting their players shoot mid-range shots and different ways to get off a mid-range shot, to attack the mid-range. That's
15:30 what they're not doing. These pointing guards, they don't have a lot of skill passing. And so that's off. It's just bad basketball in college. This past season was the worst that I could remember seeing for women's collegiate basketball. It was just that bad. It was terrible. You know what I'm saying? Absolutely terrible. So pretty brutal, man. Just pretty pretty brutal. Pretty brutal. So trying to get it to 20 teams. That product is going to be terrible. The product is going to be terrible. You got to have an infrastructure already ready like right now before 2030 get here. you need to start investing to make sure that by the time 2030 get here, you've you've
16:17 already used resources already funded. A lot of these AAOU teams what they need to make sure that when these girls get into college, the skills are there, the fundamentals are there, and that means making sure that these AAOU teams have everything they need to be successful. Also, you're putting in coaches, develop developmental coaches there, positional coaches there to give the these girls these skills. Um, it's obviously you got to have to pay these people that cost money obviously and just make sure that they have this the necessary uh things that they need. Whe that's equipment,
17:03 whether that's making sure they got a medical team, the team doctors for these AAU teams, just everything that they need to train and to recover and you got to load these AAU teams up with a lot of good developmental coaches and a lot of coaches that will teach the program, but mainly just getting these women skilled so when they get to college, these women are ready to go. are really polished. And then this is when you got to start right now having conversations with the NCAA to make sure that they're hiring coaches who are preparing players for the next level with these players aspirations are to play professionally and that these ads are not just hiring
17:50 coaches just to be hiring coaches and these coaches don't care about developing players for the next level because if this stuff continues and we don't make any changes on the collegiate level on the AA level, then you will see a bunch of foreigners in the WNBA. You will. And that's when you will have to start watching these foreign leagues on YouTube. Going to have to start watching them on YouTube so you can be familiar with these women coming into this league that you just like, who is she? What is she? What does she do? Oh man, I didn't know she could hoop. I never heard of her before. Damn, she's 66 with a three and a handle like that. That's crazy. I never How come I never heard of her? That's because you don't watch Women's Basketball overseas. And
18:36 so you're just sort of And listen, these analysts, these journalists, they don't even watch Women's Basketball Overseas. Seriously, this is why we don't hear a lot about it. We don't hear a lot about this stuff on ESPN or even with these former players who are now analysts. And a lot of these writers, like these journalists, they don't watch women's hoops overseas like that. It's only a couple of them that do. And so they're unfamiliar. This is why when they're doing their predictions and they're way off with these teams and who will make it and who won't and all of this stuff because some of these teams are loaded with foreigners and they just don't know these foreign players. You understand? And so
19:21 everything is just off because they're unfamiliar with these women. This is why I'm always correct. I told you what the Valkyries would do and they're doing it. You understand? And then just the simple fact I know this league. So I told you what Atlanta would do. They're doing it. I told you they're doing it. That's just what it is. So like I'm telling you right now, it's extremely dangerous to play this game to expand so quickly. Captain Ingleberg said on the Washington Mystics broadcast the other day that you know, they don't want to degradate product. You know, what she's saying is that they don't want to
20:07 dilute the product so much so where it's just bad basketball. And but that's what you're going to see. You're going to see a lot of product dilution. That's just a fact. And so, be prepared for it. Be prepared for a weaker batch. Be prepared for a weaker product. Be prepared for dilution because that's what's going to happen when you expand. And now it's only going to get worse because they're trying to get the WNBA to go to 15 players per team. College, they just don't have the talent to support this. You mean tell me by 2030 you're going to have 18 teams and 15 women per team or 15 women roster? Oh my gosh. Like the talent is just not going to be there. It's going to be
20:53 spread thin. And then where are you going to find these highquality coaches, right? So, you're going to obviously have to try to find some major coaches from college to bring them in and hope that that works. But we'll see where that goes. Obviously, they're going to be trying to make sure that they hire a lot of former WMA players, which is a mandate. And then they're gonna keep trying to go to the NBA to their GLeague and some of these assistants. But like I said before, the NBA is a failed product because of all of this freaking three ball crap that they're doing and very little defense and they switch everything and they don't really
21:39 care about the mid-range game. They don't really care about all three levels. They just really care about the third level and any two-point shot, they prefer to give it at the rim. Now, you have some players in the NBA who are trying to make the mid-range game more popular, but that hasn't caught on yet. So, we'll see where that goes. Like I said before, also also the the first level is gone. I mean, there's a few players in the NBA who are polished in the low post and even the high post still got several go-to moves and counter moves off of those go-to moves, really polished and skilled and efficient. But that's rare.
22:25 It's only a few of them who can do that. And a lot of these teams, they don't want to slow it down like that to where they can get it to a post player and let the post player go to work. so efficient at it that the post player commands a double team or triple team and it opens things up for everyone else. They don't have time for that because everything is pace and space pace and space and so they don't really want to do all of that, right? So, like I said before, that also hurts hurts post defense because you're you don't care about the first level to establish any post game. So these bigs, they don't even know how to defend in the post because they don't really have to defend in the post cuz no one really cares about the post game on offense. So the
23:11 post post defense as well. So like I said before, you know, you're copying a failed model. Bringing in these NBA coaches, these G-League coaches, that's a failed model. That's a failed model. It's not sustainable for success, long-term success. They going to appeal the product and next thing you know, like I said before, the WNBA right now is shooting an all-time low for three-point percentage as a league. It's at 33% and it's dropping. They're at an alltime low for total field goal percentage as a league. Okay, right now it's at what 42%. And so the best year the WB has ever had with total field goal percentage was in
23:59 22 and that was close to 45%. The best year that they ever had for three-point percentage as a league was in 2023 pre Caitlyn and these other new players and that was at 36%. Okay, so this is the worst it's ever been. It's almost at 32%. This is the worst it's ever been in the WNBA for three-point percentage as a league. And this is the worst it's ever been for field goal percentage at around 42. Really, it's like 43% but it's getting close to 42%. So, this is the worst it's ever been. On top of turnovers being up, fouls are being up. Okay, fouls are up. Turnovers are up. And so, it's just a
24:46 bad product. It's a bad product to watch. Now, is it more is it a more popular league? Yes. Do they have more recognizable faces, stars? Absolutely. But the product is suffering. This is the worst the product has ever been on offense and defense. Okay. Now, yeah, there's some teams in the WNBA that stand out defensively. Absolutely. Like the Golden State Val. Absolutely. They stand out. But in terms of just the league itself, this is just bad. This is bad, y'all. So, if it's bad right now with 13 teams, what do you think it's going to look like with 18 teams or 20 teams? Okay. And like I said before, the NBA, the WNBA, they have to
25:33 bear some of the the blame, too. And that's because of them hiring these NBA coaches. And that's part of the problem. They're running to the NBA is also part of the problem as well. And the WNBA has they've accepted this pace and space transition game, you know, motion, heavy motion with Read and React. They've accepted this stuff and they've gone away from it. The the most beautiful thing is any team that's holding a team up with a lot of foreign players. The problem is that they got these foreign players. They're really just signing foreign
26:20 players that still fit that pace in space system. So, it's not like they're bringing in some of these bigs with a lot of good post moves, low and high. Um, these foreign players can shoot midis. that's not an issue. But they're being told to really just shoot threes. The good thing about the foreign players is that they're more skilled and more efficient than the American players if they're still going to play that style. You understand? And so that's just sort of what it is right there. It's just I'm telling you right now, this isn't what you want. This isn't what you want. Now, the league wants it. The owners want it because the more teams the bigger the media rights deal would be in the future
27:06 because that's more teams, that's more product to put on different networks. That's more games. That's why they're probably going to cap the games at 50 or 54 to 55. I think the league want to get it to 60, but I think they're going to cap it at 50. And but that's good. That's a lot of teams and that's a lot of product. The reason why you want more games is because there's just more product to sell the network that the WNBA with these new stars they're getting in the league. Especially Kathy hinting at allowing this thing to go to one and down or bringing in some high school players. Your eligible boy 18. That's what she was hinting at. That's what she was alluding to when she was on the broadcast for the Mystics the other day.
27:52 If that happens, then obviously we're going to get some more stars in this league. plus entry just the entry of an 18year-old potentially winning MVP or rookie of the year or something like that and so the intrigue to watch these games so they feel the ratings are going to go up they don't want to miss out on juju like they did they don't want to miss out on another ju another they don't want to miss out on these these freshmen um so they would rather for these women to come in as 18 year olds or just do one and done where they get a little bit of polish on them. Uh they feel that they could develop these women better than college anyway. That's just how they feel, you know. So there's that. So yeah, that's going to
28:38 help the ratings. So they feel like we can get 50 to 60 games a year with all of these other teams, plus bring in a lot of these popular players straight from high school or one and done. That's really going to help us out. And so we believe the ratings as a league as a whole, the ratings will be averaging over a million, if not more than that. That's just what they believe. And so networks are all in on it. The networks are okay with it. That's really what they want. More games, that's more product. The networks make a killing off of it cuz that's more money they make off of sponsors. That's more money they make off of selling assets, which are commercials, right?
29:25 Um, like I said before, it's going to get to a point where they're going to do increase the minutes per game. I've been saying this for years from 40 to 48 because that's eight minutes, right? Which is a pass box. That's eight extra minutes. Someone could sponsor the game or segment of the game, which means that they can charge more money for those eight extra minutes. So, it's going to eventually get to that from 40 to 48, from 44 games to 60. And that's just the way it's going to be for at least 50 to 55 games. And so that that media rights deal in the future is going to balloon to around 16 billion in the future. Maybe even get to 20 billion. But I think well they get to opt out of this one in 3 years. This one
30:12 is like 2.5 2.4 2.5 billion for 11 years. They get to opt out in three years. Okay. And so if the WNBA feel that they're outperforming that contract, they get to opt out and renegotiate. And I believe that's what's going to happen. And then that's if the product is still good in 3 years in terms of like for a product where the ratings are still there. You're not just depending on just a few number stars for the ratings, but people are really watching because the product is really good. So, if the product is good on top of you having these stars and the ratings are going up every year,
30:58 what's going to happen? They're going to opt out after 3 years. And then now it's 2.4 billion. That's going to balloon all the way up to around 6 billion, you know, and so which is what they would want. So that's going to balloon up to 67 billion. That's more money for these women. Obviously, when you get the new CBA coming in, really honestly, you know, everything just really goes up. So, if they're going to do the CBA, they got to negotiate for the future in terms of lockdown current media rights there. So, they got to try to make sure that veterans are getting paid in the millions and rookies are getting paid close to a million, like really really close to a million.
31:43 They got to they have to do that because that new meteorite still they get to opt out after three years. That's the number one. So they can't be duped by the owners and yeah they can't be duped by the owners. The powers that be to make them believe that this media rights deal will not increase from 2.4 4 2.5 to 6 or 7 billion. Okay? Because that's what's going to happen when you get this when you opt out and renegotiate after 3 years. It's going to go from 2.4 2.5 to probably 56 7
32:29 billion. So you have to demand. You have to demand that veterans in this new CBA veterans are making millions. The top veterans millions. And these rookies, if you're if you're a top 10 pick, you're a top 10 pick, especially your top five, you have to make over a million. You have to make over a million, right? They have to do that. Um, you know, and so that's the way that has to be. cuz you're like I'm basing it off of what the media rights deal would be after three years when you renegotiate. So rookies, top five rookies should be over a million. Over a million. You understand? They might even have to talk about 2 million. If you if you're the
33:14 number one, if you're a top three pick, they may have to be talking about 2 million. 2 million over three, four years, right? 2 million over three, four years. They have to talk about that. If you're one of these core top veterans, you got to be at least 4 million. Okay. Or 5 million. That's the way that has to be. That's the way that has to be. So, yo, that's the way that has to be. Look at my girl sparkle. Look at my girl sparkle. Look at my girl sparkle, man. Look at my girl. Look at my girl sparkle. But yeah, like it's going to have to be that way. It's
34:00 definitely going to have to be that way. So, like I said, none of it matters if the product is piss poor. Product is piss poor. You're not going to be able to opt out of that out of this media rights deal. It's going to stay at 2.4 2.5. You understand? So product is piss po. And this is when, like I said before, you got to have the conversation with the NCAA. You got to have that conversation like right now. You can't play any games. You got to have that conversation right now. Right now with the NCAA, you need to start having that conversation with these ads about hiring coaches and staff that's going to prepare these players for the next level. that's going to teach these point guards to be great facilitators,
34:46 accurate, great precision, efficient. Okay, you're going to have to teach these bigs high post, low post skill set while also allowing them to be stretch bigs as well. You're going to have to teach these point guards, shooting guards, and small forwards wings even power forwards, the mid-range game. You're going to have to teach these players these things on top of being able to be good defenders in space on ball defenders, but also defenders in the paint, defenders on the block. All of that stuff had you got to teach them go-to moves, multiple go-to moves, and obviously multiple counter moves. All of these things have to happen, but you also have to be able to teach them the pro style game. And so
35:31 that has to happen because they're not going to get away from this pace of space because fast pace is fun. And for women, the the dunk is the three. Now, women are evolving athletically. So, you're going to start seeing women in the next 10 years dunking like it's nothing. That's not going to be an issue cuz women have evolved athletically and it's going to continue to evolve over the next seven to 10 years. Hey, that's when you're going to see it is 7 to 10 years. women just dunking like it's nothing. That's what you're going to see. So, but yeah, we got to start doing it. That infrastructure has to be there and that's going to start at the AA level having serious discussions with the NCAA. On the NCAA, they might tell the WNBA,
36:20 we're not helping you because you're taking our players from us. You're hurting our product. Women's B college basketball is a huge money maker for the NCAA. It's like women's softball, huge money maker. And so they'll tell them, "You're hurting us with making these girls eligible fresh from high school. Well, you're hurting us with this one and done BS, so we're going to hire whoever the hell we want to hire." And no, it's not up to them to prepare you for the to prepare these players for the next level to help you when you're hurting us by making these girls eligible at a high school or doing this one and done BS. Right. So this this is what's going on y'all. This is what's going on. I'm telling you,
37:06 it's a dangerous business. It's a dangerous business. But like I said, every day they got to figure something out. You moving this thing to 18 20 teams and then you got to think about the upshot league. The upshot league right now they're getting it to six teams. They're moving it to two extra markers to bring it to six teams. We've had professional leagues in the past that started with 16. So that's not an issue. A lot of teams like to start with eight. A lot of leagues like to start with eight, but you can check in history through a lot of these different leagues. They started with six teams. some of them. They just started with six teams and they just expanded every year and so that's what happens. Some of them you'll see some of these professional
37:52 league started with just 16. So that's the upshot league. It's a real pro league. 11 women per team, 40 minutes a game, 40 games a season. Okay? And that's just what it is. It's a real league. Straight up real league. and it starts next season, next year in the month of May, right alongside the WNBA. So, like I said, that's an opportunity for the WNBA to potentially merge into some markets that they not they're not even thinking about. Obviously, Upshot League. They're in Greensboro, North Carolina. They're in Charlotte, North Carolina. They're in Savannah, Georgia. And they're in Jacksonville, Florida. Jacks, Florida. And then they they're going to two extra markets already. They're getting two extra markets. They haven't
38:38 revealed those markets yet. So, you know, the W&B they're going to have is they're going to say, "Okay, well, we got 18 teams. If this thing goes well with the Upshot League back in Charlotte, we can merge or just purchase the Upshot League, period. Just merge and bring them back to Charlotte." that Charlotte's staying back to Charlotte because there's clearly an appetite based off of what they're doing in the upshot league or Charlotte is doing good. Let's think about Greensboro. If Greens, it's a nice place to live. Greensboro, it really is. I did the research on it. We can go to Greensboro. We can go to Savannah. Savannah is amazing. We can go to Savannah. Look at what they're doing in Savannah, you know, and it the WNBA wouldn't be opposed, the owners, especially if
39:25 you're living in Atlanta, because we don't have to spend money on a charter flight. We can just get on a bus and go and go to Savannah and Hoop, right? Also, we don't have to honestly charter a plane to J, Florida. Uh, if they decide to say, well, we were thinking about going to Miami or coming back to Florida. The Upshot League is based in Jackson, Jackson Jacksonville, Florida. And they also have a team in J. And so Atlanta is right next to J. So we don't even have to get on that charter flight. We can just take a bus and go to Jacksonville, Florida. That saves us money from these charter flights. These are just things to think about. So they can obviously merge with the upshell league and take
40:12 all four of the six markets or they can just take two of the successful markets and get it to 20. And they can say, "Well, the Jacks market is doing great. Fan engagement, the attendance, the ratings look good." Boom. Let's let's take the Jacks. Let's take the Jacks. and either they could they could totally body up Shaw League and kick out the teams that's not performing. Just keep the two teams that are performing the best. Okay? And it could be the J market or the Savannah market. Savannah is doing really great with a lot of the semi-pro teams in Savannah. So they that's something that they can do. They could say, "Well,
40:58 Savannah is performing better than Charlotte and Greensboro." And then Jax is performing better than the other teams in the Fal League. So, let's take let's take Savannah and let's take Jack and it works in terms of logistics, everything. It works great for the WNBA because it helps out Atlanta. It helps out Atlanta. You know, Atlanta is just like, damn. Like all we got to do is get on the bus to go hoop in Savannah or maybe we could charge a flight from Atlanta to J. It's a short flight. It don't cost us much. So we can just get on the bus. It's really simple, right? So just little things to think about. Just little things so they can say, "Well, let's take two
41:43 let's take two from the upshot league." Okay. Um, we could still be able to do the Nashville deal, which which works out great for the big deal in terms of short like if you're playing against a southern team, you know, like Atlanta, Son, Jackson, Nashville right there. And then let's get that team in Nashville and then let's bring back the Houston Commons or let's just go ahead and put a team back in uh let's go ahead and put a team in Denver and get that Colorado stuff out the way. So, like I said before, it just depends. It just depends on what they want to do. But also, we can't forget about a lot of fans don't want the Connecticut Sun to leave. They just don't. But Boston really,
42:30 they're interested in the WNBA. Okay. And so, we know Connecticut, they're shopping the Connecticut Sun around, know that. So, we'll see what goes on with the Connecticut Sun. What's hurting the Connecticut Sun is how they're totally underperforming this season. They shouldn't be this bad, but they're this bad only because of nepotism and you got rid of the players you should have kept and that's why they're underperforming. In the preseason, Connecticut looked so good and that was because they had the players they were supposed to have. They got rid of those players and then they brought in a player they should have never brought in which is Bria Harley. And Bria Harley because of all the multiple surgeries, knee injuries and
43:16 both knees, she's not the same Bria Harley. She hasn't been the same really for the last 3, four years. And so that's what's going on. She can't play defense. Offense is okay, but it's not good enough. And she's never been a facilitator. And so you pretty much just got damaged goods out there and it's hurting them and they don't have a pure point guard and they're inefficient. So you're dealing with inefficiency scoring, low field goal percentage, three-point percentage. That's what you're dealing with with them. You don't have a pure point guard. So you're killing yourself for turnovers and opportunities because you don't have the good ball vision accuracy with the anticipatory skills being able to throw players open
44:02 and just general good ball distributors. So you don't have that, you understand? And then the player you brought in is damage goods. You can blow by her anytime you want. She can't play defense and she's limited on offense. Okay? Lindsay Allen is not a pure point guard. Allen as a point guard, you would give Wy Allen a C minus grade or a C, a flat out C. And so, she was not good enough. JC isn't a point guard. You know, she's not a true facilitator. That's not JC. That's not Marina. Although they can play those positions, they're not elite at it. They're not even good at it. They're just serviceable. Okay? And so, you just don't have pure point guard. Somay isn't a pure point guard. She can she can play that role but she's just
44:48 not a pure point guard. So as a pure point guard if you had to give Somaya letter grade you would give her C minus or maybe a B+. So that's what's hurting the Connecticut Sun. They're inefficient meaning missing a lot of these shots. They get a lot of shots and a lot of open shots. They're missing these shots. some of them at the rim mid-range and obviously at the third level they're missing the shots and you don't have anyone who can run the offense because you don't have a three-point line in the three you're giving her tons of minutes and she's terrible on both ends and that's why Connecticut they're losing that's why they're losing and so it hurts it hurts the fans the market because they want to keep these fans want the Sun to stay Connecticut would like the Sun to stay
45:36 you know But putting out this piss poor product the way it is is hurting it. It's hurting it. That's That's what's going on. That's what's So yeah, we really was supposed to be shooting at least 97% threes. And the reason why we're not is because these players that I created, although I gave them all threes, a lot of these players I created to slash to be in the post, but they can also shoot threes. So for that so far for the tendencies, it wasn't like what I did when I created all of those other three-point shooters. Uh only allowed them to only take attempt three point
46:22 shots. And so when I do the offense the system this way where all we do is nothing but plays designed behind the arc. That's all you can see is like 97% threes. You understand these players I didn't do that. So the same takes shots but for the most part for the most part you say well this isn't realistic. It is realistic because we saw that in college um in the tournament shoot threes for an entire game. They attempted nothing but threes for the entire game. It was a little small school and they attempted threes for the entire game.
47:11 I need to find the name of that school. It was in a men's tournament. So I was like wow team Let's see. What men's college basketball team couple years ago in the NCAA tournament attempted 100% three-point shots in a game. Okay. In a recent NCA tournament, Alabama set a new record for three-pointers made, not for attempting 100% of their shots
47:57 from behind the arc. And a sweet 69. That's not the team. Oh, here it is. The team that attempted 100% of their shots from the three-point range was Rale College in a division three game, not in the NCAA tournament. All right, I got you. They attempted 111 three-pointers in a game against Bible College, making 40 of them, right? And that was that game. That was that game. So that's Granell College and they attempted 111 three-pointers and they end up winning that game. They attempted all three-point shots. They never shot a layup, a mid-range, even in transition. They would just only shoot threes. And so, cuz that's that's the game that I
48:45 saw all of those um those highlights of and I was like, "Wow, they actually did that. That's crazy. That's crazy." So, yeah. So, that's something we know can work. It was at division three, but it's something that they actually did, which is interesting. So, that's why I said, "Well, let me see if I can do that. Let me test this out." But what I did is that I did that in a different franchise that I deleted. So I created I created 12 um players and I put all 12 on that one team and all 12 could shoot threes. But what I did is that I made their
49:31 tendencies only attempt threes. That's it. They wouldn't attempt layups, close shot, mid-range shots, any of that stuff. They wouldn't drive. They wouldn't post none of it. It was 100% tendencies for shooting threes. That's it. Only threes. That was the only tendency. And then I did all of the plays are three-point plays. The playbook is 100% threes, right? Every play assigned to them is just threes. And so that's what we were doing. They were just shooting 100% three-point shots. Now, the only time that they wouldn't is if they were in transition and it was like maybe 1% of the time they would go in and do a layup cover. It was like 89% of the time they attempt
50:17 to lay up in transition shooting three like 99% of the time they would shoot threes in transition and everything was three point shot coming off the screen shooting threes in the ice was a three. You understand? Like that's just the way that was. They were shooting deep threes. It just didn't matter. They get a rebound to kick it back out and shoot a three. So, yeah, we and we were averaging around like 137 points a game during that season. I did that. Seriously, like averaging in a 10 minute in 10-minute quarters or 40minute game, we were averaging 137 points a game. It was amazing. You know, we couldn't be stopped. We couldn't be deep. Something that's never been done before in pro level.
51:02 And so that's it was just beautiful to see something like that. I was like, "Wow, that's something that could really work in real life that you just put a team together where everyone, you know, they're just good three-point shooters, right?" So, you know, if you had a team where everyone was in the mid to high 30s, shoot threes, including your bigs, do something like that. Just make sure that all y'all do is shoot threes, right? All you do running screens to get players open to shoot threes. You understand? That's the way it is. Pulling up in transition shooting threes. That's the way that goes. And you can you could seriously do that. Or what you can do, you could say in
51:48 transition we'll shoot threes and get layups in transition, right? But in a half court set, we run our offense. Everything has to be behind the art and you know that's that's that's what you want. That's what you want. So yeah, that's something that could happen IRL. You just got to have a team, a coach that's willing to pull something off like that, make that system. But what I can say, you know, we have coaches who are innovative and creative and they put together personal or unique system that we never seen before. um a new way to play like like I would say uh Marquette used to do back in the day one time ago.
52:35 You know when they had nothing the dogs nothing. So they got killed on the boards and obviously in the paint but they won a lot of games and just stayed on top because the facilitator was great. The handles were great. perimeter shooting was great. Thickness and speed was great. You understand? Because the team was just 100% guards. Do you understand? And so, you know, everything was just beautiful. It really was. It was just beautiful to see. It was like, "Wow, this is what it was." So, everything was just beautiful to see, man.
53:24 Everything I said before that was just so unique was so unique. It's something you know people just never seen before. People never seen something like that before. Man, sometimes, you know, you got to you got to be creative in that way. You got to be creative in that way. just do different things, man. Different personal.
54:14 Oops, I didn't mean to do that. Hold up, y'all. Yep. That's pretty wild, man. That was pretty wild. That was pretty wild. Hold up. Let me need to see something real quick. See something real quick. I need to check something out real quick.
55:00 Yep, that was Marquette. That was Marquette. They had nothing to guards. You check the 200 17 roster. Um, man, even these forwards, you'll see the one forward, you know, you Tory McCoy, the all of them were guards. Everyone was guards. You understand? Blocked in everyone. And even the ones that seemed like they were for, they were 6 feet, 6'2, they were they were guards, the actual guards. Um, and then you you go to the 2019 roster, you understand? You go to the 2019 roster and they just really went just guards.
55:47 Everyone was just flat out guards. You understand? Anyone that was 6'2, they were guard. That's the way it was. That's the way it was. Everyone was a guard. But that's because like uh Megan Duffy tried, you know, to sort of mimic it, but you know, think things were just different. But that's that's the way that was. It was creative. It was something that, you know, people never saw Dawn before, you know. Um, and just the way that was. It was the way that was. Wow. It was something like we just we never saw that before at that time. Um,
56:33 it was it was beautiful to see. Really was. It was beautiful to see, man. It was beautiful to see to see someone just daring daring to do something like that. Like are you serious? Did you just have a team with 100% guards? Did you just do that? Did you just really watch that? Some of them are big guards and some of them are short guards. But just seriously put together a team like that. But it's sort of like what we're seeing in Tennessee. You understand? Um just doing something different. Doing something different.
57:27 doing something. Thank you everyone for making it out to see you next time. We got him. Let me see something. Hold up, y'all. Let me see something
58:14 real quick. Okay. All right. Yeah. Let me see how many uh many threes we got up. We attempted 46. They attempted 59. See, like I said before, that's not good enough. And the only reason why I was like that is simply because I didn't do what I did the the last time. You understand? And I didn't do what I did the last time with this one. So like you can see Sparkle attempted 19. Like you could see like she attempted 13
59:00 shots only six with three. Bey attempted 13 of the 18 attempts. And you could see a lot of them they were going inside. But that's that's not how I did the last one that I had. You understand? The last one that I had was next level. U we was like at 99% all three-point shot attempts and we were just burying teams, man. Just absolutely burying teams. We was averaging 136 points a game. Uh when I did that, that was no shots at the rim. Like that's the way that goes, man. But there was no shots at the rim.
59:45 Let me show you real quick. Let me go to my girl Sparkle real quick. Let me show you. Go to my girl Sparkle real quick. Right. So, as you can see, see how I got her balanced and stuff. She could hit the midies and and all of that. She shoot the three. But you see right here all of this that shot three I got had a 98 but I had the other franchise I had everyone on the team 99 99 99 all of this was like 5050 because they choose wherever they want to shoot it all that was 5050 this right here 99 I don't care if someone in your face pull it 99 all of this was zero step back
1:00:33 three. I kept that at a 50. It depend on what they wanted to do. You understand all of that? Zero. Spin jumper. I kept that at a 50. Transition pullup 100. Drive pullup 100. Anything mid-range, zero. Use glass, zero. You understand? Um, you know, like I said before, all this mid-range stuff, zero, zero, zero, zero. Close, zero. That's the way it was. Underneath the basket, zero. You understand? Like that's the way it was. And you get the layups, zero. All of this was zero. I didn't play around. And then you end up getting driving zero. Everything was
1:01:20 zero. And in post game all of this zero, you understand? And that's what I had at 99 99. You know what I'm saying? And I also had them popping. I kept I I'm keeping her 50/50, but just popping most of the time. We was like 100% pop. Uh that's the way that was at transition spot up 100. That's the way I had it, man. I didn't play those games, man. I didn't play those games at all. And so, uh, all our hot spots was all red, all behind the perimeter. Everything was red and that's the way it was. And so, that's all we did. I'm talking about all 12 players I I built
1:02:06 this way. And all they did all they did was uh was shoot threes. we like I'll say 99% of the time because there were a couple times we'll watch a game where they instead of shooting in transition they would just do a layup for whatever reason 2K made him just disobey and do a layup like that. Um but everything was just 100% pretty much threes and we were averaging 137 136 137 points a game. Didn't lose blowing teams out. Won a championship. It was crazy man. It was crazy. It was crazy. So yeah, like all that all that could definitely work. All that could definitely work. But yeah, this the future right here. Don't
1:02:52 show those socks. They don't come to the ankle or nothing. But you got them on. Call those footies. You understand? Not ankle socks, but footies cuz they they're not even supposed to show at the ankle. That's the way that is. You get get the short shorts, whatever. Boom. That's That's the That's the new flow. That's the new flow. That's the way I do with IRL. You understand? Put them footies on, you don't even see them. That's IRL, man. Like, it's my girl, man. But yeah, that's like she like one of my favorite players. But this is nothing compared to the women the other women I created where they were just so unique. It was just wow,
1:03:38 man. Some of the women I created on this game, man, it just blow your mind. But 2K killed it. 2K kilt killed my women. They killed them. Like, let me show you what I could do. So, I'm about to kick Deiris out of this league. Demirz, you about to get kicked out of this league, right? So, watch this. Check this out. Watch what I do. So, I'm about to put Hannah Stalky on the squad. You understand? Or I could put Hannah Stalky on the Indiana Fever, right? So, hold up. Watch this. Let's go to the fever. And now she teamed back up with with Kaitlyn. Who I want to kick out of this league. You goofy chick. Get out of here. You getting the hell up out of here. I wish I can kick Bria Harley out of this league, too. But let me let me kick Sydney Coulson out of this league. So,
1:04:25 this is how you kick her out of this league, right? She made sure she got her face scanned, too. She was like, 2K, you go scare this face. Get a goofy chick up out this league, man. Watch this. Watch this. So, let me let me do my happy like Hannah. Let me do my happy like Hannah real quick. Let me get my happy light Hannah up in here. Let me find happy like Hannah. Boom. Boom. Get my happy light Hannah. Boom. My happy light Hannah up in here. So now we got Hannah Stalky around it. Like that's what it is. So now she right back. She right back with Caitlyn. You
1:05:13 see her? You understand? She a she 88 overall. Hold up. Yo, bro. Oh, so what they did, they gave they gave her um the years everything that was going on with like so they they made her play as many years as Sydney played instead of making her a rookie, but they changed everything else. Let me see. Nah, cuz that's got to be 2001 years pro. We got to make Yeah. We got
1:05:59 to do something like that. Yeah. And they did everything. This is Yeah. This is how I did it all. This how I did it all. Right. This how I did it all. So we got Hannah up in here. We got Hannah up in here, man. I want her to I want her to play a long time, too. I got to fix her contract. I want her to stick stick around. We gonna make her stick around, man. Make her stick around real quick. Boom. She gonna stick around. Make her stick around. She'll be around
1:06:45 for a while. So, yeah. as you can see. Hold up. Yo, 82 gave her a little a little three free throw post control shot IQ. See, I made her realistic as much as possible. Look at that speed of 98. You understand? And that's because Hannah's a track star and um you know she won the 100 meter and all that. Hannah really run like a four or five. That's a little bit too high, but it is what it is. So yeah, that speed killing them.
1:07:31 That speed killing them, man. Hey, let me tell you something. It's so fun watching her, too. It's so fun watching her on this game. It's so fun. See 62 190. And she don't weigh 190. I had to make her weigh 190 only because I needed her to look plump and she don't weigh 190 IRL. But I had to I had to if I gave her her real weight, she would she look really skinny. So I wanted her to look plump. So I had to make her 190. So yeah. Now can you imagine? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? Obviously, she she's the star and center, but uh let me let me see. Let me let me
1:08:17 see. Let me see something real quick. I know what I need to do just so I could look at uh so I could look at who they would be starting. Let me see something real quick. Oh yeah, they got Hannah starring at the center, Aaliyah at the four. I think they should move Hannah to the four, the Wana at the three. Oh, can you imagine that 98 speed going crazy, man? Like, can you imagine? Like, she just outrunning everyone. Oh my gosh. Now, she did run a 4540, so let me be fair. Let me take that down
1:09:03 real quick. I just wanted her to just destroy people. That's why I made it a 98. I made her as realistic as possible. Let me Let me take that speed down a little bit. Let me take that speed down. Let me take that speed down. I'll move that to a 90. Uh, I'll move that to a 90 speed. I give her a 90 speed. Boom. We give her a 90 speed. And the reason for it is cuz like in Madden, Trayvon ran a 4540. Trayvon Walker, he's 6'5, 271. Ran a 4540 and a 40. Defensive
1:09:49 end Trayvon Walker. Matt gave him 88. But what's crazy is that Matt got wide receivers that ran a 4540 and Matt gave him a 90. And you could say, "Well, that's because they're skinny." Whatever. I'm not buying that. You know, four five is four or five. I don't care if you're skinny or heavy. So, you can't you can't just say that because this wide receiver ran a 45, you gave him a 90. Because Trayvon weigh 271, you gave him an 88. They both ran a 45. Period. They both ran a 45. So, you gave that wide receiver 90 or that or that free safety a 90 and he ran a 45. Why didn't you get Trayvon a 90? So Hannah Stalky a 4540 uh you know I got to give her a 90 speed. I'm giving her I could have went
1:10:34 89. I'm going give her a 90 speed. Boom. And so she's the fastest big in the WNBA right now. And that's the way that goes. Like let me tell you something. That's serious. That's serious. Now I know how she hoop on this game because I spectated and watched her and I'm just gun. Just gun. just gone and she just wide open. Everyone left behind, she hitting her with these layups in transition. Crazy. But even at a 90 speed, she's still burning everyone. So, you know how they got Caitlyn throwing those outlet passes like? So, now she got a girl back. She got a girl back. I took away her. I took away
1:11:21 Lexi Hall from her cuz I had I had traded for Lexi. But Lexi is just a 61 6'2 Gabby Marshall. I should have been I should have threw u K Martin on the squad, but K Martin not ready yet. She not ready yet. But yeah, like that's just what that is. At least she got Hannah with her. That's a crazy star light up right there. That's crazy. That's crazy. Hannah, Aaliyah, Dana, Kelsey. That really should be switched. Let me switch that. Yeah, Aaliyah at the five. Hannah at the four. Let me see something real quick. I think
1:12:07 the reason why they did that. Yeah. Now, the reason why I made Hannah a center is because that's what she is at Iowa. You understand? Um, so let me switch that. Boom. And we'll do that. So, now let me now they should have Aaliyah starting at the bigs for the center spot. Oh, they still got Hannah there. All right, I know what I need to do. Let me just take away the secondary period from her and just make up for straight up make up for Damn. My bad. Yeah, bro.
1:12:54 All right. Now, let me see. And now they want to make her come off the bench. That's cold bloodooded. They want to make her come off the bench cuz and throw Natasha old self up in there. Now we ain't doing that. We ain't doing that. I'm about to I'm about to do something. Hold up. Hold up. Let me go to Natasha. We got We got to switch that around. You a small forward first and then a power forward. That's the way we gonna do that, bro. All right. Let me see. Boom. There it is.
1:13:43 AB Happy Like Hannah. We got Happy up in there. We got AB up in there. We got Happy up in there. We got We got the Grim Reaper. Bon Bon freaking Skeletor. We got her little skeleton chick. We got Bon Bon up in there. Even though that's Mariah Jefferson nickname Bon Bon. That's her nickname. But anyway, we got Bun or Bones. Let me call her Bones. We got Bones up in there. Happy AB, Kels, and then your little girl CeCe. Whatever. Oh, that's crazy. That's crazy. You got Natasha coming off the bench. They call her Flash. Used to be called Flash. She ain't Flash no more.
