0:00 if you're wondering where to stay in Rome stay tuned because this video is about our favorite airbnbs and hotels in the city of Rome in fact we're going to share three of our favorite hotels and three of our favorite airbnbs and we have stayed in a lot so these ones have kind of stood out over the year have made a very good lasting impression on us and we'd like to share them with you because if you're planning to come to Rome these are awesome to start I'd like to share with you one of our favorite hotels it is the hotel Santa Maria located in Trastevere which is at it just across the tyer and it's about maybe a 15 to 20 minute taxi ride from the Termini station now this hotel was awesome we stayed there like 20 years ago and then more again more recently and I just when we came back we just remembered how much we really L this hotel and why it left
0:47 such a good impression on us 20 years ago the grounds of this place are Immaculate in fact there's a nice gate that you have to go behind so it's secure that's important right and then also when you're back in there the grounds are wonderful they got a great atmosphere like a garden area that you can go in uh and enjoy your morning breakfast or come home in the evening and just enjoy sitting around and uh enjoying that the rooms are very comfortable the staff couldn't be friendlier um I was recently on Google reviews just to check the reviews and uh it had it rated at a 4.9 and there's not many hotels in all of Rome that are that are rated that high especially with as many reviews as this hotel has so if you're looking for a great Hotel you will not be disappointed I promise you with Hotel Santa Maria located in Trastevere

3:12 breakfast the rooms are super super nice you've got a very nice staff you know I just think when you when you add the Rome's best location with one of its best properties you end up with magic and all three of these places we mentioned to you offer that if it was my first time in Rome I'd probably just because of location I'd probably stay near the Campo De' Fiori area so from the Campo De Fiori area it's very easy when you want to in the evening maybe to go get dinner to head over to the thrust deity neighborhood or head it's only a you know 5 minute walk to the Piazza Nanona or maybe a 10-minute walk to the Pantheon you've got the Jewish Ghetto which is like 5 or 10 minutes away so so many sites are right there next to this area so if it's
3:57 your first time to roam I'd recommend staying even either in the hotel Lunetta or the hotel Campo De' Fiori as far as location I think that trumps even though I think the hotel Santa Maria is very special these two hotels will probably be a better fit for you if it's your first time to run first Airbnb I'd like to share with you is called Cynthia place it's an Airbnb located right in Largo Argentina not far from Campo De' Fiori like again it's kind of the Hub of all of the sites in Rome so it makes it super convenient to be there it's just a 5-minute walk to the Jewish Ghetto 5 minutes to the Pantheon 10 minutes to Piazza Navona 5 minutes to Campo De Fiori 10 minutes to comp to Trastevere and so many other sites are just within walking
4:47 distance of this location but it's not just the location that makes this Airbnb special it is the host and the accommodation itself the hosts are wonderful condition of this place is immaculate the cleanliness is the beds were very comfortable the kitchen is fully stocked it's a very nice kitchen I don't know what else to say other than it is a great Airbnb if you look on Airbnb it's got almost a 5.0 out of several hundred reviews and that's hard to do once you get above a 100 or so many reviews start dropping down and this one has held this reviews way high and it does not surprise me because our experience there was fabulous and I'm sure everybody else that has stayed there has had a similar experience so Cynthia's place is definitely a great Airbnb I'm not exactly sure the cost because
5:32 it depends on the time of year and everything but it's around 250ish maybe to 300 a night if you're able to get this one booked if there's availability uh don't second guess it get it booked the next Airbnb I want to share with you is one of our favorites it's located in Trastevere and not too far from the hotel Santa Maria just a few blocks from there this is called Simona's place I'm going to leave a link to this and uh all of the hotels and airbnbs we've talked about in the description but this Airbnb was really special super clean super modern and uh the the bedroom had a nice king-size bed it was super comfortable we slept great in there it was quiet the uh kitchen was Modern well equipped just
6:19 if you love cooking you're going to love this kitchen the front room the Gathering Room had nice comfortable Furniture to sit down in had a nice TV and then it also had a nice balcony where you could just step out had a little table out there and you could it's a private balcony it's on the back of the building but you could just step out there and really kind of just relax and uh hear the birds and just very peaceful we love this place so if it's available I highly recommend you get that booked if you want to stay in the thrust event neighborhood it was wonderful another one of our favorite airbnbs is an Airbnb located in the Monti neighborhood that is a neighborhood located right next to the Coliseum and this particular place is called the penthouse with Terrace near Coliseum real original but it really is just that this place
7:09 is great it's an apartment it's modern it's well equipped it feels spacious um it has a nice large private Terrace and From the Terrace you got great views of the Coliseum along with the Monti neighborhood it's just a great place to go and relax enjoy whether it be in the morning or after a long day of touring the city come home to this at night you're going to feel very comfortable and uh it's going to be well worth it to you so Splurge a little bit when you're in Rome especially on some accommodations you're going to see a lot of the city but having a place to come home to that's all yours with a Priceless view is awesome [Music] [Applause] [Music]
