Introduction: Stop Waiting, Start Training

The speaker opens by stating that breakthroughs in life are not random occurrences but are the result of training and preparation. He urges viewers to stop merely wishing for a better future and instead actively train for it. Supernatural breakthroughs are triggered by self-training and relentless pursuit of knowledge and spiritual development, not by chance or prayer alone.

The Covenant of Training

The speaker emphasizes that training is a covenant requirement, not a suggestion. Using the example of Abram training his servants for war, he illustrates the importance of preparation for significant life transformations. Spiritual growth requires intentional training, both formal and informal, and self-training serves as the bridge to breakthroughs. Supernatural living is impossible without supernatural training.

Practical Application and Personal Growth

Wishing for change is a trap; transformation comes from actively working towards it. Success in marriage, ministry, and business requires study and preparation. The speaker shares personal anecdotes, such as seeking guidance from his father-in-law before marriage and reading extensively, to highlight the value of continuous learning. He also emphasizes the importance of learning from experienced individuals and understanding the application of truth.

The Difference Between Mediocrity and Mastery

The speaker contrasts two seminary classmates to illustrate the impact of training. One, who consistently studied and pursued knowledge, became a successful minister, while the other, lacking passion and discipline, drifted into random jobs. Spiritual realities must be pursued like scientific ones, and miracles flow through prepared individuals. Predictable success comes from understanding and applying God's principles.

Re-engineering Your System of Discipline

The speaker encourages viewers to start building now, rejecting victim mentalities and pity parties. Individuals are the product of their dominant thoughts and micro-disciplines. He uses the analogy of a delayed flight to illustrate that setbacks are normal, but it's crucial to get back on track by rooting out bitterness and engaging in diligent study and disciplines.

Call to Action: Engage in Change

The speaker challenges viewers to invest in wisdom and personal change before expecting changes in their circumstances. He urges them to embark on training immediately, as their attitude influences their reality. Viewers are encouraged to train for breakthroughs, prepare for their assignments, and achieve success through discipline and preparation.

0:00 Stop waiting for a breakthrough. I want to show you something you're missing. The breakthroughs in life, they don't visit the lazy. They answer the trained. I want to urge you to stop wishing for tomorrow. I want you to train for it. Because where supernatural breakthroughs come from is not just by chance. It's not by prayer alone or just waiting. They're triggered by selfraining. [Music] Stop waiting for a breakthrough. I want to show you something that you're missing. Breakthroughs don't visit the lazy. They actually answer the trained. And you should not keep just wishing for

0:48 tomorrow. I want you to train for it because supernatural breakthroughs, they don't come by chance. And they definitely don't just come by prayer alone. The Bible's clear on this that this idle waiting, it's not going to produce. Um, these things are triggered by self-training, by relentless pursuit of knowledge and spiritual development. And in this video, I want to urge you to stop wishing and actually start working through consistent learning through through growing spiritually, spiritual enlightenment in the Lord and practical preparation. This this truth is that you cannot rise above the level of your training. So in Ecclesiastes 4:13, I love this verse. It says, "Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and

1:34 foolish king who will no more be admonished." It just shows the beauty of a simple person, even a poor person, even a child of a person who is actually wise and they are far more uh effectively stationed in life than a king if he is simply foolish and will not receive instruction. So you've got to understand that training is a covenant requirement. It's not a suggestion. Abram trained his servants in Genesis 14. He had 318 men trained for war as he entered into one of the most profound uh transformations

2:21 of his whole journey. And Jesus redeemed us into that same heritage. That same spiritual journey is yours. Your spiritual growth requires intentional training. It requires that formal and informal dayby-day development. And so your self-training is actually the bridge to your breakthrough because you don't become great by accident. You train for it like a pilot or like a soldier. You read that in Psalm 18 in 34. And supernatural living is actually impossible without supernatural training. So I'm asking you think about this. Don't wait for change. Train for

3:06 it. Just that wishing for tomorrow is a trap. Only working towards tomorrow brings transformation. Even in marriage, same in ministry, same in business, success is never automatic that way. And if it is, it's a momentary glitch. You have to study. You got to prepare. And then you'll grow. I remember going into marriage asking my my future father-in-law, "What even is a man? train me. What is a woman? What is masculinity? What is femininity? What does Ephesians 5:25? What does it mean? Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church, gave his life up for his bride. What does this mean? And I read books after books, books, piles of books. I read through the Bible from beginning to end over and over when I

3:52 was saved at 18. And I read biographies of people as I prepared for ministry. And then even as I went into formal training in Bible school, I still found far more value by being among the older and the wiser, by being among experienced ministries, prophetic ministries, apostolic ministries, because you can't use what you don't understand. Having spiritual weapons is just simply useless if you don't know how to engage them. You must learn by discipline and by use. Many believers remain grounded uh because they lack understanding the application of truth. The difference between mediocrity and

4:38 mastery is that training. I had these these classmates at seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, and their their lives just totally diverged dramatically. One of them uh studied. He's always carrying books out of the library and we were talking about his books. We connected on these books. I just I had I've always had books around me since I got saved at 18. And and this I connected with him so well. He became this tremendously influential, valuable uh humble minister of the of the Lord. But the other one I guess he was thrust into to theological training by by his parents or just by a sense of duty. But there was no love for training. There was no passion for discipline. And he just he just wandered

5:25 into random jobs at minimum wage and nothing happened. Spiritual realities have to be pursued like s scientific ones. Miracles are real but they flow through prepared vessels. God God acts upon the one that is in training and those results those that fruitfulness can become predictable when you understand God's principles. So I'm urging you in listening to this video start building now. There's no excuses, no no victing mentality for you. No pity party for you. You are the result of your most dominant thought. So you must change it perhaps. You are the whole byproduct of all of your micro

6:10 disciplines. You are experiencing uh the results of where you have been trading your time and affection in this life that is a marketplace. You have been exchanging your time, your attention, your focus uh for for a certain return. And the full product, the complete uh accumulation of everything you are at this stage was perfectly produced by the system of discipline that you have. And so you must start now to re-engineer your system of discipline so that you will arrive at a predictable place. I got a flight the other day and it was delayed a and I was going to a goan conference in Texas uh to speak. My flight with

6:56 United was delayed. It kept it went on one hour, two hours. I I I figured this is probably going to get cancelled. So, I I and I don't like United. So, I booked a flight um with another airline and I had to fly later and I arrived later, but I still went to the same destination. So, it doesn't matter what's going on in your life that that this is normal. There's nothing strange that has happened if you get slightly knocked off course, slightly disillusioned, even slightly falling into unforgiveness and bitterness. From this moment onwards, you are back on track. From this moment onwards, you're walking with a pure heart. You're rooting out bitterness. You're getting rid of the pity party in your life. You're getting rid of self-centeredness, and you are engaging in the study and disciplines of a diligent life. And the

7:42 blessing of God will come to you. Have you ever spent your your money to buy what will build your future? That's your assignment. Use it to buy the wisdom. I want your disposition to be that you will engage in change personally before your position in life changes. Do don't keep assuming that uh that you'll get to training someday. Embark on it immediately. Start today. Because until your attitude shifts, nothing around you is going to shift. So are you living your life to chance? No, not anymore. Not you. You you you are not going to live that way. You are training up your breakthroughs waiting on your preparation. I exhort you, mighty

8:29 soldier of the Lord. Train yourself for battle. Engage yourself in disciplines. Prepare yourself for your assignment and you will have a very, very good success. crazy about our viewers.
