THIS THEORY EXPLAINS A MASSIVE PLOT HOLE IN JURASSIC WORLD REBIRTH!

0:00 Jurassic World Rebirth not only introduced us to a new start of the Jurassic franchise, but it also introduced us to something called mutant dinosaurs. But throughout this movie, we start to learn that the mutant dinosaurs merely being alive causes many implications for plot holes in the franchise and more notably as some reccons. I know I have been promising for quite some time to discuss these reccons and explain them, but I've been putting that video on the back foot for quite a while now. But today, we're at least going to try to explain one of them. And that one being why does Ela St. Hubar exist? Ela St. Hubar was the brand new island that was introduced to us in Jurassic World Rebirth. And recently, it's now been confirmed that it is also known as Sight Sea, the long-awaited island of Sight Sea. If you

0:46 would have told some fans 10, 20 years ago even that sight se is going to be part of the franchise eventually they'd probably laugh at you or they might get excited. Who knows? But what we do know is that unfortunately with the addition of Ela sent you bear came some complications to the law. So today I'm going to be explaining it to the best of my ability and trying to give you guys a piece of mind so that you can't really think that it's too much of a retcon. Again, this is just head cannon stuff, not really official, but this theory should help you thinking about why Ela sent Sanhub existed to begin with. So, for Jurassic World Rebirth, we're introduced to mutant dinosaurs. Now, the issue with mutant dinosaurs is that they're not just failed experiments of standardized dinosaurs, but they're actually failed hybrid dinosaurs. Whilst this isn't technically officially confirmed, you can hear in the movie that they are referring to these mutants as hybrids and crossspecies DNAs. You quite literally hear them say, "We go until the hybrid folds." We keep running until the hybrid folds. So that right there basically confirms that these mutants are indeed failed hybrid dinosaurs and not just standard

2:18 dinosaurs. So, as we covered in my previous video, we went more in depth about it, but the D-Rex is a failed hybrid that was intended to be the Indominus Rex, and the Mutadon is a hybrid between the Quettoquatus and, of course, the Velociraptor. Now, I did see somebody ask, why is it quetas instead of Pterannodon? Well, you know, look at the size of Mutadon. It's much larger. And the wings actually match the exact same color and pattern that aqua Quattlas has as well, just a little bit smaller. So yes, technically it does have dawn in its name, but I think it's showing more attributes of a quetto guatlas. So just quickly to explain that one. But the fact that these hybrid dinosaurs were on Ela St. Hub and not created on Isla Nubla actually caused quite a few problems for the timeline of Jurassic. Firstly, let's establish what was going on here. The opening prologue

3:03 of Jurassic World Rebirth does in fact take place in 2011, not 2010, 2011, which is 2 years after the creation of the very first successful hybrid and 1 year before the Indominus Rex was born. So, we're definitely in that hybrid era. But why does this cause a problem or implications to Jurassic? Well, the issue is is that Dr. Woo was solely responsible for the whole entire hybrid program that was going on during this time. And that's not just part of the hybrid program, but the entirety of this hybrid program. This was alluded to in Jurassic World, but then further confirmed via Camp Cretaceous as well. So having a new island such as Ela Hubair must make us think that, okay, Dr. Woo and Simon Maserani knew about this island. But what if one of them did and one of them didn't? Also within

3:50 Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, we learn of something called the morality rule that has been put in place by Maserani and Dr. Woo. Essentially, this rule is to kill off beings that aren't meant to be alive, aka those horrible looking mutant looking things. So, when this conversation took place, well, that's inhuman. Why not just euthanize them? The average cost of a created species is $72 million. What would you do? Kill it and have to tell your bank or just carry it forward under R&D? Technically, that is also a raccoon. But further providing evidence of this is that even in Camp Cretaceous, we can see how angry Dr. Woo gets by Bumpy the baby Ankinosaurus being born with a minor asymmetrical trait on her head. And that's not even me beginning to mention that all of the hybrids made were born

4:38 and bred on Eanubler as well. So why was the Ela St. Hub facility allowed to go ahead? It quite literally goes against everything that we had established for the hybrid program in the franchise from Jurassic World from Camp Cretaceous and external canonical websites. Well, believe it or not, ladies and gents, the whole reason why Elisen Hubar and the facility on that island was allowed to go ahead was because of the Scorpius Rex. That's right, the Scorpius Rex. That crazy hybrid from Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous season 3. Arguably, one of the best things that Jurassic has ever produced since the first movie. And the hybrid was just the cherry on the cake. I remember I was very concerned about a new hybrid being added, but it ended up being my favorite. But what exactly is the Scorpius Rex for those of you who don't know? Well, the Scorpius Rex is actually the very first

5:25 successful hybrid dinosaur that was ever added into the timeline. This took place in April of 2009. This was solely made by Dr. Woo and again was on Ela Nubla. This creature then unfortunately broke loose in 2009 in the science labs of Ela Nubla and it was then put into cryogenic freeze by Dr. Woo. And then unfortunately during the events of Camp Cretaceia season 2, Kenji decided to short circuit that system and then the cryogenic freeze decided to thor out and then the Scorpius Rex roamed Elanubla in 2016 once again. We also find out that there was two of them and then eventually they met the demise as the original Jurassic Park visitor center fell on top of them. But before all of this cryogenic freeze thing happened, Maserani actually ordered Dr. Woo to go

6:10 ahead and destroy the specimen, aka kill it. Why did he do this? Well, it's because it was completely erratic and just too ugly to look at. It was not something pleasing or aesthetic to the human eye. So, of course, they can't show this creature in Jurassic World. But Dr. Woo, of course, didn't listen to him because he was proud of his very first hybrid creation, which again is also proof of the morality rule being put in place here. So, with that confirmation, that means that all of these beasts that we see in Jurassic World Rebirth have to have been born after the year of 2009. Now, by beasts, I don't mean stuff like the titanosaurs because there's clearly a lot of them. So, they've been breeding there for quite some time. I'm talking more about the facility specifically designed to create hybrids on Ela Sanhub. Because of the Scorpius Rex incident, I suspect

6:57 that Simon Maserani was actually very cautious about where Dr. Woo was going with his hybrid work. And after the failure of the Scorpius Rex and how crazy and erratic and dangerous it was, it merely meant that Simon just didn't trust Dr. Woo after all of that. I mean, sure, he has helped you bring back dinosaurs for the last 20, 30 years, but that's where he draw the line. So, of course, still wanting the hybrid program to go ahead, he then went behind the back of Dr. Woo and created the facility on Ela St. Hubair based off what Inen already had previously in the '90s and the 80s. So, building off the infrastructure that was already built there on Ela St. Hubair, he went ahead and created a whole new team on this island for that specific facility for them to then try and replicate Dr. Woo's work on the hybrid program. That would

7:42 actually explain why there's so many failures of the distort Rex and the Mutadon. The Mutadons we actually get to see are probably version six or something because in the container we see that they are version 5.11. The distort Rex is version 23. So they have had so many distortters rexes in the past but obviously they have died off somehow. But this is further evidence because that doesn't happen with Dr. Woo. No, he knows what he's doing. So clearly because this team are not as advanced as Dr. Woo or intelligent, they went ahead to try and replicate his work and obviously came out with failures such as the mutants. Nobody can replicate Dr. Woo's work as good as Woo can. Now thankfully for Maserani, the island actually went under in 2011 because of the daughter's Rex breaking out. And I don't believe Dr. Woo ever

8:29 found out about this island to be honest because soon after quite literally just a year after the Indominus Rex was born and the hybrid program was set to go ahead to the public and then of course the story of the hybrids continue as we know in this franchise. So let's recap here very quickly. Simon Maserani was behind all of this and the creation of the facility on Ela sent Hubair building off something that was already there presumably made by Inen. But this time he wanted to bring back a secret team to create hybrids on this island after seeing the Scorpius Rex that Dr. Woo made. And in doing so, he lost his trust in Dr. Woo's work. So he created a subdivision to accelerate the potential of creating a new hybrid. If Dr. Woo was unsuccessful and the D-Rex never broke out, maybe the Indominus Rex would have

9:16 actually came from the scientists on Ela Sanhub instead of Dr. Woo himself. So hopefully that theory explains why there was a hybrid research facility on Ela Sanhub this whole entire time. It must have been from the years of late 2009 to mid 2011 because before and after that makes absolutely no sense. And that should explain the reccon of Ela St. Hubar's facility being added into the Jurassic timeline. Now again this theory is a little bit complicated to understand and even try to explain to you guys but I really hope I tried my best to explain it. Uh yeah it's very difficult. I was having a discussion about this with somebody on Instagram and even they couldn't really seem to understand what I was trying to say. So it was very hard but I thought as though

10:02 I needed to get this theory out there because that facility on Ela St. Hubair makes not much sense. Sure, the facility being there, you can technically try to make it cannon into the franchise with very small implications, but talking about hybrid dinosaurs and creating hybrids, that's where the difficulty comes in because we've already got a lot of information established for the hybrid program in Jurassic. So, adding Ela and Hub there will certainly throwing a spanner in the works. But again, that just makes me think instead of making this an injured facility, make it a bioid facility instead. It literally would have gone down so much better in the timeline and it would have made so much more sense. Imagine this after 2022 the fall of Biosin that news would have gone global and now they go to Ela St. Hub and discover more stuff that the biosin were doing that makes a

10:48 lot of sense to me. So why they didn't do that I don't know again you know failures trying to replicate Inen's work but their biosin's work again makes a lot more sense. So it was a weird choice that I make aten but that's the best explanation I can give you. Hopefully you guys could understand it and hopefully I tried my best to explain it to you guys as well.
