Why Is Columbina In Nod-Krai & Who Is She? Fatui Harbingers Plan Explained Genshin 6.0 Lore & Theory

Brief Summary

This video discusses the upcoming introduction of Colombina to Genshin Impact and presents a theory about her identity. The main points include:

  • Colombina's potential role as the first angel, cursed for rebelling against the Heavenly Principles.
  • Her possible connection to the Fatui Harbingers and their plans in Nodcry.
  • The significance of the Snowland Fay and Frost Moon Scions in relation to Colombina and the first angel.
  • Speculation on Colombina's powers, her relationship with Il Dottore, and her potential influence on the Cryo Archon.

Introduction

The video starts with the content creator expressing excitement about Colombina's official arrival in Genshin Impact as a main harbinger in the upcoming chapter. The presenter notes that Colombina's introduction in Nodcry makes sense, given Nodcry's unique setting centred around the moons. The trailer shows Colombina glitching, similar to Arlecchino, which is an interesting detail.

Colombina and the First Angel Theory

The content creator presents a theory that Colombina might be the first angel, a figure mentioned in Skirk's artifact set. This angel, a voyager from beyond the stars, questioned the strict principles governing Teyvat and rebelled against them. The first angel was visited by an unnamed youth, a descender, who revealed Teyvat's different past. This revelation led the angel to break free from her shackles and seek freedom. The presenter draws parallels between Colombina's characteristics and the story of the first angel, suggesting her closed eyes, mourning dove constellation, and damsel codename allude to this connection.

Nodcry Factions and the Fatui's Plan

The video discusses the Snowland Fay and Frost Moon Scions, two factions in Nodcry. The Snowland Fay are descendants of the fa creatures from the golden city created by the first angel and the voyager. The Frost Moon Scions, who worshiped the moon goddess, are distinct from other inhabitants of Nodcry. The Fatui Harbingers, under Il Dottore's direction, plan to retrieve the damsellet (Colombina) in Nodcry. The presenter speculates that this retrieval might involve reviving the first angel or using her as a vessel to challenge the Heavenly Principles.

Colombina's Potential Role and Powers

The presenter explores two potential angles for Colombina's role. One is that she is the fragmented first angel assisting Il Dottore in creating a being that can transcend Teyvat. The other is that she represents the legacy of the first angel. The video also touches on Colombina's potential powers, suggesting they might be psychological and related to her singing, as well as the powers of the moon. The presenter notes that Colombina and Il Dottore have a working relationship, as seen in the Winter Lazzo trailer.

The First Angel's Legacy and the Future of Nodcry

The video discusses the significance of Nodcry and its connection to the first angel. If Colombina is the first angel, her presence in Nodcry, where Il Dottore is conducting experiments, makes sense. The presenter also speculates on Colombina's potential influence on the Cryo Archon and the possibility of Sandrone, the seventh harbinger, appearing in Nodcry due to its industrial nature. The video concludes with the presenter expressing excitement about learning more about Colombina and her role in the game.

0:00 Oh my god. Okay, it's happening. Everybody stay calm. What's the procedure, everyone? What's the procedure? Stay calm. Everybody calm down. Did you think we weren't going to talk about Colombina after that crazy trailer they dropped last week? Some of us have been waiting for years for this moment. She is officially coming to the game and nod cry she's going to be a main harbinger in this whole chapter. The wishful thinking and speculation are officially over. Colombina is coming to Genchin Impact quite soon, might I add, and they would be out of their goddamn minds not to make her a playable character and print money. But it got me thinking, who and what is Colombina? She's a character that I've speculated for years on this channel. It's one of

0:46 the reasons she's my favorite character in the game. She's so mysterious and ominous, being among the top three harbingers and having angel features. But something we always thought was that we'd go to Chznia right after Natlin, we didn't even know about Nodcry until a few patches ago. So although it's been fun over the years speculating and making theories on Colombina, who she is, what she is, what makes her tick, once Nodcry was introduced and what we know of Nodcry, it makes sense for her to actually be introduced here and now. Nodcry is a very unique place in Tvet, centralized around the moons. So looking at it now, Nod Cry is really the only place that actually makes sense to introduce Colombina. But what I noticed

1:31 about her trailer was that she's glitching much like Arlino was in her own trailer, which I find is an interesting detail. Now, here's my theory on Colombina. Naturally, we always thought she was an angel of some type from Celestia connected to the Seelles. makes sense for siding with the Fatoule Harbingers, her being of the top three, but I actually think she might be the first angel, something we learned pretty recently in Genchin. We learned about the first angel in the mysterious Voyager in Skirk's artifact set, talking about a Voyager that came from beyond the stars to meet with Nebulong, the Dragon King, long before the shades and the primordial one ever got to Tvat. And if you look at all the factions that are

2:18 going to be a nodcry, one of them are descendants of the first angel and the voyagers. Back in the old days when the heavenly principles and the four shades set up shop in Tavvat for the first civilizations of humanity, the first angel was said to reside deep underground below the golden city. She along with her fellow angels wore elemental crowns that also acted as shackles, binding them to their duty of serving the heavenly principles and guiding the nations of Tavvat. The four shades themselves representing the pinnacle of these shackles. Something I noticed a lot of people overlook when talking about TVAT. Tvat is obviously this bubble world protected or a prison. However you view it, humans will always

3:04 try to break the barriers and the shackles. Whether they're being encased here for their own good or not, they're still going to feel confined. But the angels are also from Tavvat. They stem from the primordial one themselves. Along with all the beings that lived in Celestia, the shades, the angels, they are from Tvat as much as humans are. And as much as humans feel like prisoners, the angels are really no different in that regard. They just have a different role in all this. It's important to talk about this when talking about the first angel because that's the whole point of the first angel. This mysterious voyager that came in the days of Nebulong and the dragons. When they left and then came back, Tvat was a completely different place. The dragons were

3:50 defeated, usurped. Nebulong had left. Humans now roamed in TVAT, but TVAT was governed under a strict set of principles. Now, this mysterious voyager or descender, commonly referred to as the second descender, that's the most common theory, didn't like how strict the new Tvat was. But this mysterious voyager was disguised as an unnamed youth. One day, the angel was visited by an unnamed youth who questioned why the pursuit of knowledge was considered sinful. Why is there such strict punishments? And if you actually recall in the trailer, all the shades actually have a crown of some sort, which technically acts as a shackle for them in their duties. Even the shades are afraid of the heavenly principal's wrath

4:35 and upsetting them, overstepping their authority. But this unnamed youth was a descender in their own right, a visitor, somebody not from Tvat and bound by the laws. So they asked the angel about the forbidden origins of Tvat and then told the angel of his origin, revealing to the angel that he was a cosmic voyager that had visited Tvat long before. Tvat used to be very different. It wasn't so strict. And remember, the angels are as ignorant to the outside world and from TVAT as much as the humans are or anyone that's trapped within Tvat that's never got to leave. This enlightened the first angel and she was completely stunned by this revelation and just taken back by the sheer possibility of a different world, one living beyond the heavenly

5:22 principles strict rules. The angel's crown then broke and she felt true love and freedom for the first time. Something that she was not shackled and created specifically to do. This voyager gave the first angel something that no angel had ever had before. the hope of following your own path and being free. She then told the youth the secrets of creation and the youth vowed to stand alongside her in the rebellion of the heavenly principles. But their conversation did not go unnoticed by the Moon Sisters. Using forbidden methods of creation imparted by the first angel, they created a golden city that forged countless fa spirits upon the bones of a giant beast. The angel hoped that one day these fake creatures would create a

6:08 perfect being that could merge with the world and envisioned a time when mortals and gods could reside in the heavens together. But as we know, this hope did not last long. 30 days after the couple first met, the heavenly principles cast down the divine nails to destroy the golden city and kill the faith spirits. While this angel was then stripped of her name and form, a curse was put upon the rest of the angels. If they ever fell in love with an individual, they would lose both body and mind becoming Celles, doomed to drift the world forever. And from there, we obviously know what happened. The war in the heavens between Neilong returning, the dragons then reigniting, trying to fight against the usurper, and the second

6:55 descender fought with the heavenly principles. But the heavenly principles and the second descender then had to turn and gang up on Nebulong because Nibbalong was corrupted by the abyss. It would have destroyed everyone and everything. Sometimes the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The heavenly principles had strict rules. But if Nebulong was allowed to win, everything would have been rolled over and destroyed. We know how dangerous the abyss is. it could not be allowed to run rampant which led to even more divine nails being cast to mend the land and basically eradicating 99% of all living things all the old civilizations on TVAT the humans the dragons alike there were a few survivors but the land was changed forever and for the few that did survive they would never forget this and what's

7:41 funny enough is Skirk is currently searching for the Voyager under the orders of Certologji now without even me saying anything I'm sure most of You can see a lot of parallels with Colombina and the first angel. Colombina, her power, her third ranking could be in contrast to the first angel being fragmented and cursed ever since being punished for falling in love. She's seen with her eyes closed. Her constellation itself is a mourning dove in the shape of a heart crying. And her name is the damslet. a damslet, which is derived from the word damsel, which is a young woman or maiden, often of noble birth. And a damsel itself is usually an unmarried woman potentially in danger or

8:29 in need of saving, usually by the night and shining armor. That's the old cliche. Or just a young woman that isn't married. This actually has a lot of meaning when you talk about Colombina, though. if she was the first angel that fell in love with this powerful beyond the stars Voyager that was enlightened and then wanted to rebel against Tvat and because she was cursed and they were probably separated her code name that's derived from the word damsel has even more meaning. Also, Colamina looks like an angel. She always has. Man, this brings me back to the days where I'd make theories about Colombina being an angel and people are like there's not even angels in this game. The word angels never used. You're overthinking it. Then Natlin finally uses the word

9:15 angel instead of shades. I remember my argument back then being that angels are often depicted as shadowy shades. I can't believe it's been like four or five years now that I've been making theories on Colombina. And here we are. She's almost here, guys. We're this close. Sorry, just a little call back jump scare from the first ever video on this channel. A theory about Colombina. I can't believe she's almost in the game. But now, let's talk about the Snowland Fay, one of the factions that was introduced coming to Nodcry in one of the trailers. The Snowland Fay followed the first Cryo Archon. Despite losing their former glory, they still possess

10:00 some influence in Nodcry. Seeing as that fa creatures came from the golden city that the first angel in this voyager established, I think it's safe to assume that they're descendants of those original phase to some extent. It can't be a coincidence that they're now a nod cry of all places. And then we have the frost moon scions who worshiped the moon goddess and had abandoned their ancient golden civilization finding new homes among the mountains and forests in Nodcry. And apparently they're unlike anyone else that lives in Nodcry. They're very different which seems to be a direct reference to the old civilizations of this golden city they built. Even in the trailer itself when the Fatoule general's giving orders, she makes a remark about the

10:47 scions posing a threat or giving them trouble. And then they talk about retrieving the damslet, whatever it takes. And we can see her glitching out. Inspection over. Return to your posts. Make sure the Frost Moon scions don't pose a threat. Per the pale star edict, we are to retrieve the damsellet from nod cry. Whatever it takes. We know Iltaore is working on something crazy here and something they need all the nosis for. Pierro already said what is the price of killing a god? We already know what the fatoule want to do. Seize authority and take command of Tbat. No more heavenly principles. No

11:32 more for shades. None of it. Freedom. Perhaps retrieving the damsellet is in fact reviving the first angel. If they were cursed like most celles to never be whole, fragmented, or as the game puts it, stripped of her name and form, maybe the Fatoule harbingers are trying to make the first angel whole again or make them into a vessel. If Sumerau was Iltador's test run at creating a god that can challenge the heavenly principles and challenge Tabat, perhaps Colombina is either fueling this or is the vessel for this. If Colombina was the first angel, her interest would completely align with the Fatoule Harbingers. And Colombina would certainly have no love left for Celestia

12:19 and the angels that betrayed them. The game goes out of its way to tell us that the first angel in the Voyager falling in love, starting a love union, and creating this golden city did not go unnoticed by the Moon Sisters. Maybe the Moon Sisters ratted them out. I'm almost guaranteed that they did for then all the angels to be punished and stripped of their forms, their livelihoods. The first angel would have every reason to side with the Fatoule harbingers and hate Celestia. Not just the heavenly principles, but the angels that betrayed them, the moons. Maybe Colombina has already inherited or plans to inherit some of the moon powers for herself, the frost moon specifically. And much like Arlino that has the crimson moon powers

13:07 that glitches out, that's what we're seeing with Colombina. Regardless, it makes the most sense to me that she would play a huge part in Ilta Dodie's research and experiments. There's a reason he was studying the fractured moon in Natlin when the false sky was shattered. And the scary part is Colombina might just be a fraction of her full strength if she still is cursed, which it looks like she might be. The one thing I did find interesting, however, is the Fatoule plan on hitting a roadblock with the Frost Moon Scions and meeting some resistance. If the Frost Moon science are an extension of Colombina, if she is the first angel, why would they be hostile towards the Fatoule? Kind of interesting. There might be a lovehate relationship there, like the enemy of my

13:52 enemy is my friend. Maybe their interests align in seizing authority from the gods, but they're not necessarily buddies with the Fatoule and what they do. By all rights, the Fatoule harbingers have probably rolled into Nodcry and set up shop. The residents of Nodcry, especially the ancient ones like the Fay and the Frost Moon Scions, probably don't take too kindly to this. Plus, we know Colombina is a bit unhinged going by the voice lines we've heard about her. From Tartalia, "Something's not right about her. I would stay away to Scatamooch and Arlino's cryptic lines about her. And from now, we can see that she's glitching out. She's probably immensely powerful, not complete yet, a bit fragmented and a little bit unhinged. A powerful angel and damsel that had her

14:39 heart broken and will be a key piece into what the Fatoule Harbingers plan to do in Nodcry. That is one potential angle, but another one is that Colombina and her powers of creation as the first angel. If you recall, I stated earlier in the video, the first angel created the golden city and created Fay spirits. a whole civilization of living beings in the hopes that one of them could either transcend or create something that could transcend the world and merge with it. First of all, we know that Colombina and Iltadori at least have somewhat of a working relationship going by the Winter Lazo trailer we got before Sumemeru where Colombina's joking around with the Dor when foreshadowing the burning of mansaw. I must say you're looking very young

15:25 today, doctor. You know very well that I do not take that as a compliment. So where's the segment in the prime of his life then? He's busy with a little experiment in blasphemy. [Music] The artifact set with the lore on the first angel teases the power of creation and creating life. The frost moon scions and the fay are a direct result of that. It's no coincidence they released those new details in a new artifact set about the Voyager and the First Angel months before Nodcry's release. Regardless if Colombina is the first angel or not, the First Angel has heavy ties to Nodcry.

16:11 Her legacy is there. But it wasn't just to create something that could transcend TV. But the fake creatures and the citizens of this golden ancient city. The hopes was for them to then create someone or something that can transcend this world and merge with it. And now look who we have in Nodcry. Probably a good handful of Fatouian harbingers, but Iltaore and Colombina. Option one could be Colombina and Iltaore are going to collab on creating this magnificent being. You have the power of the moons, the frost moon scions, the snowland fay, one of the most industrial places in all of Tbad. Then you have Iltaore in his abilities of creation, how he creates his segments, his research, his

16:57 knowledge, and then the nosis that they've been collecting. Creating a being that can seize authority of Tvat probably has to have both elements of humanity, their ingenuity, which Ildore comes in. Then the powers of Tvad and its elemental authorities, the Nosis, the powers of Celestia and the moons, but the power from beyond stemming from the mysterious Voyager and its creations of the golden city, the Fay and the Scions. Colombina could either be the first angel fragmented but assisting Iltador in this mission. This is the endgame. Always wanting to create someone or something that could transcend. Or maybe she is the legacy of the first angel rather than the first angel itself. Regardless of the specific

17:45 details, Colina's connection with the first angels and the angel race as a whole seems very apparent since day one. And the more we learn about Nodcry, the first angel, and all these little details now coming to light, the four shades, Genchin is not holding back anymore. And it seems like it just makes more and more sense. I am just so excited that Colabina is guaranteed to be a main vocal point in Nodcry considering they mention her by name that they need to retrieve her in Nodcry which means there's not only a good chance that she'll be playable but we'll probably get a lot of cinematic trailers with her like we did with Arlino and her backstory some animated trailers and she will more than likely get a story quest herself which is going to be insane. We saw what they did with Skirk story

18:30 quest. was awesome. I can't imagine they're going to hold back on a character like Colombina with so much intrigue and mystery. Just going by her fellow Harbingers voice lines about her, her ominous aura and power, I would assume her power comes from emotion and is more psychological. I also wager that it has something to do with her singing, which is why we heard her singing in the Winter Lzo trailer. But I also think there's a very good chance she can use the powers of the moon. And if so, it probably stems from her singing since that seems to be one of her main gimmicks. But that's just speculation on my part. All I know is everything we know about the first angel nod cry. If Colombina is the first angel, it makes perfect sense that she would be in a

19:17 chapter where Ildore plays a big role. He's a very important character to the overall story of Genchin Impact. And ilta do really does represent a lot of what certoji taught us of humanity. How far they've come while being prisoners in this world. Personally, I love the idea of her inheriting the moon's powers for herself. Considering the moon sisters ratted her out, she can then take their powers for herself. Maybe that's why she's glitching. having her curse undone. That is something we've learned when it comes to humans and how exceptional they can be in Tvat. Even Cirto Loji offered his old friend to lift his curse of immortality. Some humans in Tvat have actually transcended Tavvat itself and the laws and rules of

20:04 the heavenly principles. They've become so powerful that whatever rules and curses are implemented by the heavenly principles in the four shades are vetoed. And I got to wonder if something similar is happening here. And unlocking the first angel, aka Colombina, is going to unlock an elimmited amount of potential for the Fatoule. And last but not least, another good reason why Colombina is likely the first angel is because if the first angel was the first being in Tavvat to rebel, the dragons don't count cuz they didn't rebel. They were here. They were usurped. The angels were created to govern humans and abide by the heavenly principles. So the first angel by all rights is the first being created here to do a job but rebelled

20:50 wanted to live her own life. Learned what's beyond the heavenly principles by the voyager. It just seems so fitting that the first angel would be a part of the very last rebellion, the one we're doing right now with the Fatoule harbingers and Pierro's plan. And that is my theory on Colombina being more than likely the first angel referenced in Skirk's artifact set. All this new Lauren Genchin Impact seems to be coming to light in the last like three or four patches. It's all starting to make sense now. The shade of space is MIA. Pierro himself just mean mugging the shade of death for 500 years straight. There's no going back now. And I also think we're going to be introduced to the seventh

21:36 harbinger sandron the marionette. And I think it's also going to be a nod cry because well it just makes sense to me. Nodcry has become a very industrial place. If Ildore and the fatoule harbingers are cooking up something it makes sense that she would be here too. By all rights is probably from Fontaine and if she shows up in Nodcry instead I can live with that. It makes sense to me. We have the Cling Clank Crumbcake Craft Shop, a craft shop that had its original identity but gained new ownership over the years, as well as the Adventurers Guild. And we know Katherine is from Chznia and is an automaton or automatron or android, whatever. More than likely, Sandron is doing to have

22:23 eyes and ears in every single nation because obviously through the guild, you probably learn the most you can about a nation and what's going on. It's the perfect place to have a subordinate or one of your creations posted. But regardless, I am so excited to learn what Colombina is, if I'm right, if I'm wrong. It's been so fun over the years speculating on what she is, who she is, if she's connected to one of the shades, the shade of death. Back in the day, we had so little to go off of, but we always knew she was probably connected to Celestia. What I'm actually most intrigued about is seeing the specific details of what they're going to do with Colombina. Maybe she's not as friendly with the Fatoule Harbingers as we thought. Maybe their interest aligned at some point. And maybe she does have a

23:09 very special close connection with the cryo archon, the Serita. The Snowland Fay and the Frost Moon Science do have a close connection with all cryo archons. So maybe by extension, Colombina does too. Colombina might even have an influence on who the sera is and how they became an archon. For all we know, Venti's a windspirit that became an archon. In Fontaine, it was an Oianid. Maybe in Chznia, it was one of the fay or one of the scions that rose into archonhood. One of the first angel's own creations. There's a lot of interesting ways this story can go, and I'm interested to see if Colombina actually aligns with the Fatoule as closely as we might think. The possibilities are endless, but it's exciting to think about nonetheless. But thank you so much

23:55 for watching. I hope you enjoyed the video. Like and subscribe if you'd like to see more content like this. And as always, we will see you all in the next one. Later. [Music] Roch. [Music]
