0:00 [Music] Clap to the Lord, all ye lands. Sing a new song to the Lord, for he is good. He is worthy to be praised. He is worthy to be praised. If you believe that, would you shout a good hearty amen? God is good. God is good. The Lord is good. In just a moment, we're going to be in the book of Isaiah this morning, chapter number 64, close to the very end of the book. and just feel like that's where we need to settle and and teach some things here uh in the next few moments. And I believe the Lord's going to honor it in a great way. I want to do something quickly to get it out of the way because I do not want this to be a distraction from the preaching, nor did I want it to be uh any sort of part of the offering. This is just something over and above.
0:46 During the Open Heavens Conference, which was unbelievably tremendous, probably the greatest, well, it was the best conference we've ever hosted, no matter it was the tent here or wherever it was. But during that time, there was a gentleman that came, they're watching right now, and they came up from Florida. And he donated a a special vehicle. Some of you have seen it, uh, to the church. And he said, "I I just feel like the Holy Spirit wants us to donate this to the church, much like I did, uh, a few years, four or five years ago, whenever the first Bubba truck, you know, went up for auction and all of that when we were doing uh, the first parts of the adoption foundation here at GV." And so, he said, "I want to donate a car to the church." So, we're not going to go through some auction today and but but I got to get people's mind started in the right direction both in house and in their house our hubs and
1:33 all of that and people that are watching online. So, he said, "I I have a a very interesting car that you won't see in many places." And uh we we have it titled and he gave it to us and he said, "I want to give it to the church uh to help uh with church ministry." and he said, you know, still obviously use it as a tax write off, but uh so you can get with uh with our our church staff, get with Cass today if you're interested. You can call uh the church office, talk to the Green Wells, you can email, text, whatever. But throughout this week, we're going to start taking uh bids as it were to the person that wants to buy this car. Do we have our camera folks in the back? Uh we could not get it in the room, but I think they're in the other side of the warehouse. And if there it is right there, 1923 Roadster. And hey, hey, 1923. Hey, you'd look good pulling
2:19 through the Chick-fil-A drive-thru with that right there, wouldn't you? Huh? And it's it's a title. It's 1923 Ford Roadster. And uh it is a bad little ride, but uh Amen. So, there's that. So, if you're interested in that, see us after the service or again, call the number or just message us. And if you're interested in if you're one of our hub folks, you're like, "Man, I'd like to have that." Well, it'd be it'd be a cool sweet car. But uh all proceeds are going to go to be a blessing to the expenses of Global Vision Bible Church and just continue to sew into the kingdom. Isn't it interesting that the Bible says in the book of Acts that they sold their possessions and goods and their lands and they gave to the church and they gave to every man as they had a need. You see, there's something reviving about that. People giving, you know, cars to the church. People giving land to the church. People still do that kind
3:05 of stuff. And he had no motivation. He didn't want his picture up on the screen. He just said, "The Holy Ghost told me to bring this car. I was going to auction it and sell it." But the Holy Ghost said, "Give it to Global Vision and let them auction it off so that uh they can pay down some expenses and be a blessing to the kingdom." Amen. Give the Lord a hand. That's a blessing right there. So, I just wanted to get that out of the way as we got started just to kind of get your juices flowing for some of you car guys and car gals. Uh you'll know what that is more than me, but uh you'd look good down at the fairgrounds next year in that car for the hot rod program. Amen. All right. All is that out of the way. If you're ready to get to some preaching, shout hallelujah. >> All right. Isaiah chapter 64. Our father in heaven, would you bless the word of the Lord to our hearts? Would you do what Greg Lock cannot do? Would you say what Global Vision cannot say? Would you move in a way that man cannot manipulate
3:51 or manufacture? Lord, I pray that you would indeed come down and that you would move in our midst in a way that problems and obstacles, things in our life that seem insurmountable, that today they would melt in the presence of Jehovah. That today, Lord, you would begin to mend relationships. You would begin to heal brokenness and broken hearts. You'd begin to heal bodies. You'd begin to show people their need of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. You would begin, Lord, to help us to walk in a baptism of obedience every moment of our life. Lord, as you've been so faithful to us, would you once again faithfully deliver to us the word of the word of God, the gospel, so that when we leave, we didn't just go to a service. We
4:37 didn't just come to church. God met with us. God did something in our hearts. So, Father, I pray that you would override my preaching and preach through me as a conduit of grace. And may these my friends in house and online receive it as the engrafted word of the living God. And we thank you for it in Jesus mighty name. We ask these things. and all of God's people said the book of Isaiah is one of the most fastpaced prophetic realities in the entirety of the Bible. I am convinced that if you take the 66 chapters of the book of Isaiah, it is a perfect theological and prophetic parallel to the 66 books of the word of God. For
5:24 example, if you read the first 39 chapters of Isaiah, and we don't have time to develop all of this. It would take a very long time. The first 39 chapters of Isaiah correlate and correspond to the first 39 books of the Old Testament, which is Genesis to Malachi or Genesis to Malachi if you're Italian. And so those first 39 chapters relate to the first 39 books, the history, if you will, of Israel. But then the last 27 chapters of the book of Isaiah correspond relate to the 27 books of what we call the New Testament. So as Spurgeon said, it's the Bible in a nutshell. It deals historically, practically, and prophetically with all of our life, but especially those that
6:10 we call the Jewish people, those that are in a covenant with God, the covenant to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. If you're still with me, say amen. Now, the application is something I'm going to make to our church family today, but the interpretation is this. The last three chapters of the book of Isaiah kind of play out this way. 64, 65, and 66. They are what we call postexile chapters. They have just come out of years of exile. Their temple has been destroyed. Their city has been destroyed. Their walls have been destroyed. Their men and women and children have been ravaged and destroyed. And for years they were turned over to their enemies. Because if
6:56 you read the Bible then and if you live out practical spirituality now, you will find out that if you do not want to live under the blessing, God will let you live under the judgment so that you will desire the blessing. Can I get a witness? >> God will whip his children. That's right. >> God doesn't play timeout game stand in the corner. God will chasen his children cuz whom the Lord loveth. He chasens and he scourges every son whom he receives. So be careful if you have an arrogant mindset and says, "Well, I'm just going to live my life anyway I jolly will please. I'm going to burn the candle of life at both ends and blow the smoke in God's face cuz I'm saved and I'm going to heaven and I just want you to know yada yada yada." Hear me and hear me
7:42 well. God has the ability to bring you low and he will whip his kids. And if you are never whipped by God, the principle is this. God doesn't whip the devil's children. I said God doesn't whip the devil's children. But if you are born again, there'll be a little bloodshed in the woodshed and God's going to have a board meeting. You the meeting and he's got the board. God knows how to spank his kids. And by the way, don't revolt against that because the chastening of the Lord leads to the beauty of holiness in his relationship to us. So, here's the progression. I wasn't even going to preach on this, but y'all got me fired up. So, let me give you a quick outline. All right. Here's the
8:28 progression of what God will do in your life. And you better get this. And you better get it good. Not because Greg Lock told you, because the Holy Ghost is downloading this to you right now. There's three things God will do. Pay attention. God will speak to you. If that don't work, God will spank you. >> If that don't work, Hebrews 13, God will slay you. >> You hear me? >> You say, "Well, I don't believe that." I'm here to tell you that is a solid biblical theological truth. Cemeteries are filled with Christians that died premature death because they would not walk in the elements of the obedience of the spirit of God. You can cut short your day of grace because you live in rebellion. That is the facts. The Bible says in first John, there is a sin unto death. And I say that you should not
9:14 pray for it. >> There comes a moment when a believer crosses the line and God puts his belt back on and he don't whip them, but God literally brings them home to heaven. Cuz you can get go more glory for God up there than you can down here. But if you're saved, your life is going to bring God glory one way or the other. So God for chapter after chapter after chapter, all of these decades have gone by, the people have been under the chastening hand of God, which again was proof that they were then and are now the people of God, the people of the covenant. So when we get to chapter 64, they've just recently come out of that that exile. Cyrus is about to allow them to go back
10:01 to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple of God and all of its glory and all of its power and majesty. But in the midst of this discouragement, in the midst of some of the most difficult times that Israel had ever faced, notice the heart cry of this prophet of God. Isaiah 64 and verse one. I'm going to read the first four verses just all out loud in our hearing and then I'll go back and preach as much or as little as God wants me to. The prophet says in verse one, "Oh, that thou wouldest ren the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains," pay attention to that word this month. Our theme has been mountains be moved. mountains be moved that the
10:47 mountains might flow down at thy presence as when the melting fire burneth and the fire caus the waters to boil. Why? To make thy name known to thine adversaries. That the nations, not just one of them, all of them. That the nations may tremble at thy presence. When thou did terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, and the mountains flowed down at thy presence. For since the beginning of the world, men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, oh God, besides thee, what he has prepared for him that waitth for him. Eye has not seen, ear has not
11:36 heard. Even Peter and Paul agree in their writings that you and I can go through suffering and pain and persecution and turmoil in life. But nothing is to be compared to the glory that will be revealed when we lose this natural flesh and we take on a a flesh that is like unto the Lord Jesus Christ in a glorified body. No matter what you face, at least you're not going to hell. Somebody say amen. >> At least we get to spend eternity with our savior. And God is saying to his people, both old and new testament, no matter what you face, it could always be worse. But when things aren't good, God still is. Regardless of what you face, regardless of who walks out of your
12:21 life, regardless of the circumstances, it doesn't matter. And God in this passage, in the middle of exile, in the middle of depression and problems, in the middle of all of this persecution against his children, the prophet cries out and says, "Oh God, would you tear the heavens up and do something on our behalf?" You see, when I read that first part of verse number one, it's interesting. I'm not going to impress you. I'm just going to pastor you a little bit. That word o, we look at that and we're like, "Oh, O." No, no. It's a Hebrew word. It's a term of endearment that literally uh is is a moment of expression when these people were on their face. It's the same word that was used often in the Bible when they would put on sackcloth and ashes and they would ren their hearts and not
13:06 just their garments. And what the prophet Isaiah is saying is, "Oh God, I'm desperate for revival." I tell you, the American church hasn't reached that level yet. The global church hasn't reached that level yet. Well, we're desperate for more people in the building. We're desperate for deeper buckets and more offerings. We're desperate for the bigger screens and the nice auditoriums. And we're desperate to to be called upon by Dr. So and So, and Sister So and So, and we want to preach in all the big conferences. and we want to write all the books and make all the movies and yada yada yada have all the blue check marks and we want people to see us. But where are the people of God in a warehouse at 1010 Maddox Simpson Parkway that'll fall on a concrete floor and say, "Oh God, I'm going to labor till
13:52 revival shows up in my living room." Oh God, we're going to labor to the joy of the Lord so baptizes us that that sour look gets off our face and we can't help but rejoice in the good things of God. You know, we flew back in from Israel yesterday and it was interesting. Everybody on the team said the same thing and nobody even had to swap notes. Soon as we landed in New York and got off the airplane, you could tell we were back in America cuz nobody was happy about nothing. We just left the wall with them Jewish people are crying out for the Messiah that we already know, by the way, has been here. And they're still crying out. They're still weeping over a temple that was destroyed in AD.70 like it happened
14:39 last week. Listen, you go to Israel, you'll see more people publicly reading their Bible than you've ever seen in a church service in your life. There are more Jewish people right now at the wailing wall with a Bible in their hand than there are people in this room with one in their hand right now. And I mean, they're walking around reading the Bible, reading the Torah, reading the They're not down there worshiping the devil. It's not a cult. They just don't understand the process of Jesus. But you know one thing, when the fullness of the Gentiles comes in and the scales fall from Israel's eyes, one day every eye shall see him. They'll look upon him whom they have pierced and every single person in Israel will be saved in that day. You say, "I don't believe that." That's cuz you like Tucker Carlson more than you like Greg Lock.
15:25 I ain't got time for that Candace Owens crowd. I used to mess around with the Hodge Twins. I ain't messing with a bunch of Hitlerized Jew haters. Somebody say amen. And I'll throw this microphone all the way back to that clock back there. I don't care how many first- time visitors we have. I've said it before. I've said it again. This is a safe haven for Jewish people. If you hate Israel, you will not be comfortable in this house. And I will not let you come walk up in here with them on your head. Some Palestinian oppressed bunch of nonsense. You've been looking at too much news. What you've been looking at? I'm telling you, the people of God will be born in a day. The Bible says God's not done with Israel. God's not done with the Jews. But I'll tell you what he is done with. Churches that believe
16:11 nonsense that's not in the Bible that have turned on the Jewish people. Help me, Holy Ghost. I just got back from Jerusalem. I feel like preaching on Israel, but I'm not. It burns me up how many stupid Christians there are in America. It burns me up. The biblical ignorance, the replacement theology. Well, we are Israel. No, we are not. The church and Israel are not the same. We did not replace Israel. We never will replace Israel. And Romans says, just because you're a Gentile, don't get the big head. Because the only reason you got born again is because God put them on a shelf so that you can understand the truth to repent and believe the gospel. You wouldn't be saved without the Jewish nation. You'd be in hell with a broke back if it
16:56 wasn't for Gentiles getting the gospel through Jewish people. >> Everybody all right? >> I'm just trying to thin the crowd out as 12:04. I'll start preaching about 1210 here in a minute. People like, "Well, I'll tell you one thing. Jews run the world. Stop. Stop all this foolishness. Jews. I'm gonna go ahead and just preach a little bit. Y'all better get over it. Jews did 911. Jews killed JFK. Stop. Stop. You are showing utter utter lack of discernment when you say stupid stuff like that.
17:42 Well, you know, the only reason they won't release the Epstein list is because it was Israel. He was a he was a MSAD agent. They say all that stuff and everybody thinks they have facts. Show me one fact of any of that that has ever been traced back to Israel. You'll never do it. Do you know why they hate Israel? You better buckle up. Everybody do this right now. Okay. Now, if you didn't do it, that's on you. You know why people hate Israel? They're jealous of them. You know why anti-semitism is the biggest demon of our day? I'll tell you why. People hate Jews. because in their heart they know that they really are biblically the chosen people of God. And that makes us feel some kind of way. It makes me feel some kind of way. All right.
18:31 >> It's the same demon that's been around since Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Haymon, Herod, same demon. Hitler, same demon. Candace Owens, same demon. Tucker Carlson, same demon. Hod's twins, same demon. Stu Peter, same demon. Same demon. Same demon. >> Marjorie Taylor Green. Same demon. Everybody good? >> These lights are bright. It's a good thing I'm scanning the room for sour faces. I'm sick of it. >> I've had a gut full of it. Jew hating nonsense. It's growing every day. No wonder I got to say something about it every other week or so. It's just growing. Anti-semitism is the biggest demon on the planet right now. I mean, we're walking through airports
19:17 wearing Star Davids and Jewish people are surprised we're wearing them because they're afraid to wear them. >> People mad. I can't believe you're supporting Israel. I can't believe you're not. >> Well, you you know, if you look at the internet, they had a hand in killing JFK. They had a hand in killing Jesus, but they're still the people of God. I don't care. I don't care. I know what the Bible says. And the Bible says that Jesus is coming back to God's house in Jerusalem, not the White House in DC. >> Putin may show up and meet with the president, but Jesus is showing up meeting with the Jewish people. You better get a mindset and understand that you and I get this. If you believe Jesus
20:05 is God, >> huh? >> Yes. If you believe in the flesh Jesus is God, you better get over your Jew hate. You know why? At the judgment seat, you going to be judged by a Jew. >> Well, we just think Jewish people run America. A Jewish God runs heaven. >> All right, I'm slowing down now. I'm getting my message. I said 1210. I'm gonna get it at 12:08. I just I just I just need to thin out a few people that are like, uh, okay, look, I'll be this way next week, the next week, the next week, the next week. I will not compromise on this fact. Don't meet me in the meet and greet line. I'll tell the security to kick you out. I ain't got time for it. I'm done
20:51 with it. I've had a gutful over. I'm over it. I'm sick of it. It's wicked. It's vile. It's ungodly. If you hate Israel, you cannot love the God of Israel. Cuz 202 times it says the God of Israel and one time it says the Israel of God. God never said, never, ever, ever said he was in covenant with an America, >> but he is in covenant with the Jewish people. Now rewind. >> So he says, "Oh, that thou would as the heavens back to revival." Okay, everybody all right? So we have to understand that the church has become so complacent that not only will we believe foolish stuff,
21:37 we will get to a place that the Bible says in Matthew 24 that the love of many shall wax cold in the last days. You ever read that? Shall wax cold. What it means is if if you take a candle, a candle that we understand in its context, when you burn it, you burn that wick, the candle melts the wax, the wax then runs down the lamp, it runs down the candle, it runs to the ground, to your hand, to the dish, whatever's under it. But the moment that wax begins to harden, it hardens because it's cold. It's no longer on fire. God used that terminology and said in the last days like a wax candle, people that were lit
22:24 will get cold. And when the church grows cold, the church gets hardened. That's why a church like ours can say what I just said for the last 10 or 12 minutes and Twitter will be lit before you go to the fair tonight. People can't handle it. All he ever does is scream. I wouldn't have to if people stop believing stupid stuff. They just believe the Bible. I could just talk soft, right? Got to wake people up out of their apathetic condition. The love of many is waxing cold. So the church is getting hard to the things of God. So when somebody gets up and speaks the truth, the people that speak the truth are hated by those that hate the truth. And we are in a day where if we do not
23:10 soften our hearts and say with the prophet, "Oh, that God would send us revival and ren the heavens," we're going to be in a mess. I'm not looking for a bigger crowd. That's obvious, right? I'm looking for God to show up and do something in the crowd that's already here. >> We talk about open heavens. Open heavens. Open heavens. Open heavens is a work of God, not a work of Greg. It's not what we pray down. It's what God sends down. >> It's not what we preach up. It's what God does for his own glory. >> And we got to get to a place where we are so messed up in our hearts and so broken and so humble and so absolutely averse to the things of this world that we only want to be in step with Jesus
23:56 that literally we fall in our face and we use that word, "Oh God, do something in my family. Do something in my crazy kids. Do something in my grand young. Do something in this church. Do something in this nation. Do something around the world. When's the last time we just got desperate? >> Desperate. Desperate. We got so much going on in our life that puts us in desperation that we are forcibly desperate about things that do not matter in eternity. when we should be faithfully desperate to the things that matter both now and then. We ought to be broken for the things that break the heart of God. >> Proverbs 18, ye that love the Lord hate
24:43 evil. >> You ever met somebody talks about how much they love God, but they got wickedness in their life. And you can tell they don't live in repentance. They don't live in confession. They don't live in holiness. They don't live in righteousness. Well, that's just a bunch of legalism. No. The Bible says the closer you get to God, the more you'll look like him and the lesser he'll look like you. Romans 8:28 and 29. We got to stop giving people a pass to live any way they want to and live like hell and live wicked and live wild and live rebellious. Oh, it's okay. You know, the Bible says once saved always saved. No. The Bible says truly saved always saved. You got to get born again. And when you do, you'll be different. Theology is so schizophrenic in the evangelical church. Walk an aisle, sign a card, pray a prayer, then live like hell. You live like hell, you're going. >> You live like hell, you're going. Dot dot dot. That's a t-shirt we need next
25:29 month. I'm tell my life is going to be given for the next 50 years to clean up the bride of Christ that we will be holy. You know, it's interesting. Help me, Lord. I can say all of these things today just like this and people in the room and especially people online will go nuts like mad nuts. That's all he ever Okay. But Philip Anthony Michael, is that his name? Mitchell. He can say it in the same way and sweat
26:15 twice as much and he's a hero. That's the fact. And I'm going to tell you why. Because it's easier for people to say, "Oh, look at this guy in Atlanta who's black. We dare not attack him because of the color of his skin." >> But that little redneck in Tennessee saying the exact same stuff. Well, he ain't nothing but a racist. >> Ask my black grandson how racist I am. Huh? Help me, Holy Ghost. I feel like I'm back in the tent days. I'm about to throw down and preach. CNN, show up. >> Is it the facts? My brother
27:04 Ryan can get up here. He can throw down and and say, "Y'all better support Israel, you bunch of Jew haters." Internet, be quiet. Huh? Y'all laugh. Y'all know it's a facts. See, we ain't got that issue up in our church. We ain't playing these white games. We ain't playing these black games. We ain't playing these Hispanic games. We ain't playing game. We bringing every tribe, every language, every nation, every people, every tongue up in this house. I don't care what color you are. I want you to speak the truth of the word of God. >> People are hungry for truth and the rest of them can just deal with it. >> Just deal with it. Cuz listen, I'm too crazy to change right now. I've come too far to turn back now.
27:51 >> I can't quit. This who I am. I don't know anything else. I I sleep this way. No wonder we took Red Bulls off the man plant. I don't need an energy drink. Praise God. I stay full, fired up, fueled up by the power of the Holy Ghost. I'm not going to let my wax get hot at hard. I'm going to stay hot for Jesus. If it runs everybody off, cool. If my family can't stand me, cool. If my friends don't like me, cool. If I lose meetings, cool. If I lose book deals, cool. If I lose movie deals, cool. If it gets me out of the White House, I don't care. Listen, I love everybody. I know it don't sound like it. I love everybody. But when I have this microphone in my hand, I'm not preaching for friends.
28:36 >> I'm not trying to win friends and influence people. I'm trying to tell you what the Bible says. I'm trying to raise up a last days church that'll be ready to fa face the antichrist. I'm trying to raise up a last days church that'll understand Jesus is coming. But you got to be ready when he comes. There's going to be persecution. There's going to be trials. There's going to be hardships. There's going to be mountains. But we got to get to a place where we say, "Oh God, we don't care about that. We just want revival. >> We'll pray all night. We'll preach all night. We'll sing all night. We just want revival." Oh, that thou wouldest rend the heavens. Now, here's what's interesting. We ain't going to get far. The word rend means to tear, to rip, to to forcibly pull apart. But did you
29:23 notice what he didn't say? He didn't say ren the earth. >> Rend the church. He said, "Rend the heavens." Because both biblically and scientifically, here's what we understand. What we experience down here is a result that happens above us. Rain doesn't come out of the parking lot and go up to the sky. It comes from the sky and comes down to the parking lot. Snow doesn't pop out of the grass and out of the driveway and go up to the clouds. It comes from the clouds down to the earth. The lightning streaks through the sky before it hits the ground.
30:10 And so the prophet is saying, "Lord, if you would stir up stuff in heaven, we would feel the results down here. Cuz as in heaven, so on earth, let it be so." And when things start shaking in the atmosphere, we become the biblical recipients down here in the in the natural. But what God wants us to understand is that we will never be changed or challenged in the natural unless the source we get that change from comes from the supernatural. And he said, "God, would you tear heaven
30:57 up so that we may feel the effects and the benefits trickle down to us?" And if there was ever a time in the American church where we desperately needed a move of God, not just a better program, is the day we're living in right now. People have become hardened. People are no longer soft to the things of God. That they hear things like this. And not just me, but many others, and they're just they're turned off. To them, it's just abrasive, foolish nonsense that they read into the Bible. What
31:43 makes them feel good about themselves? that they read out of the Bible something that's entirely not there. Because as we said last week, so we will say again, people would rather believe a comfortable lie than submit to an uncomfortable truth. That's how the last days deception is going to take over. That's how the Antichrist is going to take take over. That's how the left has taken over. They do it through fear and ignorance. My people are destroyed through a lack of knowledge. And because we don't know the Bible, we just go with the flow. May we have a church that creates the flow, not just goes with the culture. All the time people say, "Well, you know, I'm just a cultural Christian. I'm just a cultural Christian." No, you're either cultural or you're a Christian
32:31 because the Bible and the culture are on a collision course one with another. This is a landmine to the culture. It is a landmine to the culture. And so he says, "Oh, that thou wouldest ren the heavens. Do something in the atmosphere, God." Watch this. That that thou wouldest come down. Look at those two words. Come down. You see, God doesn't have to come down in our midst. But he chooses to humble himself and does so. Notice he doesn't just say, "Come up. I
33:17 know we got to come up higher. I get it." But the real prayer, the real agony is, "God, you come down to us cuz we sure can't get up to you. >> Come down. Come down in my family. Come down in my living room. Come down to my kitchen. Come down to my bedroom. Come down in our pull pit. Come down on our platform. Come down during our singing. Come down during our worship. Come down for deliverance. Come down for salvation. Come down for baptism. Come down for healing. Come down. Come down. Come down. When we take an offering, God, step off your throne and show up and show out. Come down. But that kind of stuff makes us uncomfortable because when God moves in a room, you can't sit still. When God moves in a room, we're on our face. When God moves in a room, people are just before the throne of God. When God moves in a room, you don't care about my preaching. When God moves in a
34:03 room, you don't care about 55minute church services. When God moves in a room, they can sing and they can sing and they can sing and they can sing and they can sing and they can sing and they can keep on singing cuz so on earth as it is in heaven. You know what they do in heaven? They continually praise Jesus. So why do we get so bored of it in America? Well, we done been singing for 15 minutes. You ever read the Psalms over and over and over and over and over and over and over the same stuff? The Bible says in the book of Ezra that they stood >> they stood >> for almost the entire day stood up with their face bowed to the pavement as Ezra and Nehemiah read the entire law. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus,
34:50 Numbers, Deuteronomy, the Torah, the authority, the laws of Moses. Listen, man plan 20 chapters a day. Try reading all five books in one standing with your kids standing beside you and their faces to the ground almost all day. You see, now I know our church is built different, and I like it. Pastor tell me all the time, "Your church is built different." I was like, "You could build yours the same way." And we're not building phony people. We're not building fakes. We're not building cowards. We're building men and women of God in this church. So, I I get our context is a little different, but even in our church, let's just be honest. I can say, for example,
35:37 okay, I could say, "Hey y'all, listen, you're not going to believe this. Next Saturday night, Isaiah Salavar is going to be preaching here. Apostle Pagani is going to be preaching here. Mike Signarelli is going to be preaching here. I I can name whoever, right? And I love all of them. They're all my friends, right? Pastor Vlad Shavuk is going to be preaching. I can name all these people. Next Saturday night, six o'clock, so and so is going to be preaching. We barely get them in the door. Packed. packed to overflowing. >> Philip Mitchell, I'm gonna get him here. Phil Mitchell's coming. Oh, this place be jammed. He wouldn't even be getting in a driveway. >> But when I say, "Hey y'all, six o'clock
36:24 on Saturday night. We got intercessory prayer." >> Every Saturday night, >> huh? Ain't enough people in the room to keep a warm. >> Now it's growing. Thank God. I I thank God we got about 50 folks or so that show up every single Saturday night. They faithful. I don't minimize people to show up. Where's the rest of us? We get some famous preachers show up. We'll pack the house, but when it's time to pray, uh, we'll stay at our house. Revival ain't going to come cuz Isaiah Salar comes up here and screams in this in this microphone and blows these speakers out. Huh? Revival ain't going to come cuz we have a Franklin Graham crusade. Revival going to come when God's people get on their face and say, "God, here's the agenda. Oh God, would you send revival
37:09 to this house? God, send revival to this house. That's what's going to send revival, not some famous preacher. That's why we had to get over that Greg Lock worship a long time ago. It's not about my screaming. It's not about my preaching. It's about us coming before God and screaming and saying, "Oh God, would you send revival?" I know that seems undignified. Get undignified sometimes. >> We're so prim and proper in the American church. got sick of it. It's like mannequins. Listen, what I came out of, if you raised your hands during worship, I'd have thought you had a question. But it's okay to get a little undignified.
37:54 >> Go to Bridgestone tonight. Go to go to the fair tonight. People crazy. Go to a ball game tonight. that they'll scream, holler, yell, spit, fight, throw popcorn, pizza, and Pepsi over their neighbor, and their neighbor don't even get mad. I mean, they they're just going nuts. And then listen, if that thing goes into overtime, woo, that's an answer prayer. Let's go into double overtime. I mean, they'll stay there all night. They got to get up and go to work 5:00 in the morning. But I mean, they'll shout, they'll scream. Listen, it'd be 20° up there in Wisconsin, different places. They'll pull their shirts off, wear cheese hats, paint stuff on their chest. And we're like, America.
38:40 Come to church, sit on your hands. >> Hearing Nat burp, it gets so quiet during worship. Nobody wants to move. Somebody breaks a flag out. People start getting ner. Oh, what they doing? They done broke out a flag. They got people laying on the floor during preaching. Thanks be unto God. We ought to have 100 people laying on the floor during preaching. >> Them people shout. Them people blow them chauffars. Them people blow horns. Yeah, we need 100 more people to blow them horns. >> Listen, when God comes down, all that fancy denominational dignification leaves. >> Now, I'm not saying be you get stupid and you you you get out of line. And I'm
39:26 like, "Read the room." Okay, >> but you you get stupid, we'll shut you down, right? There there's a time for prophecy, right? There's a time for the gifts. There's a time for those things. But at the end of the day, Lord in heaven, where is our excitement for revival? I mean, we'll go down to that Titan Stadium, which by the way is the largest worship center in Tennessee. shout, scream, holler, yell over dudes in tights fighting over a handsized pig skin. Now, I'm not minimizing what you like. I'm just minimizing what you like. We'll pay big money. I mean big money. Fight, fight, fight, kill, kill, kill,
40:12 go, go. Scream oursel horse. Come to church. preacher jumps up, gets a little excited. If you're glad to be here, say amen. You're like, "Amen. >> We don't need all that. You had all that last night at the Titan Stadium. >> You had all that at the NASCAR race. You had all that at the fair. You had all that at the movie theater. You had all that everywhere else you went. But you ain't got all that when you come here." And I'm just going to lovingly say, the reason people ain't got all that when they come here is cuz they ain't all that when they ain't here. My worship is an overflow of how I live in my house, how I live in my truck, how I live when I'm going down the road. Israel, Argentina, Africa, I'm the same
41:00 person every single place I go. >> And I'm telling you, I'm I'm trying to birth a heart for revival in the people of this church. >> I don't want pew sitters. We ran them off. I want people that are hungry for the power of God. >> I don't want people getting mad when a demon flares up in our church and starts screaming. I want people to say, "Hey, come out in the name of Jesus." That's my church right there. That's my church. I'm not against nice stuff in church. I'm not against coffee shops in churches. There's a book in the Bible called Hebrews. I believe God likes coffee. Amen. But I got pastor friends. Oh, would you like to see our $5 million coffee shop? We have the greatest coffee shop. I'm in
41:46 town. I'm like, we got 16 year old kids that cast demons out of people. You can keep your Starbucks. We're built different in this house. And and not everybody can handle that. And that's okay. That's okay. Man playing is just introduction. >> Okay. Pastor Sam, he was at uh he was in a place last week before he went off to Israel. He was he was preaching and he saw some guys and he was asking them how they is doing on the man plan. And they're like, "Well, you know, we're just we're just doing what we can. If you're just doing what you can, you ain't doing a man plan. So, you're already out. Now, walk across this
42:31 graduation stage. I'm building commitment in people. I'm traveling all over the world trying to figure out in a in a airport how I can get my push-ups in, right? And not look stupid and not care about it. I'm like, "Oh my goodness, it's 11:45. I got 2,000 more steps. I'm running around the hotel room." I I pulled I'm telling you the gospel truth. I pulled up to u I got out of an airplane a while back and I don't know, it's couple it's a few months ago, whatever. It's right before we started the man plan, but I was already doing the man plan, right? I was already doing all this walking. I was trying to get 20,000 steps a day. And so I landed and it was like 11:15. I was in a suit, I guess. I don't know.
43:16 I was preaching a Baptist church, I guess. If I was in a suit, whatever it was, but I had a tie on. I had my little little bling for the king shoes on. They had no leather on them. I mean, flat. Pancake flat. And I'm driving home. I'm like, it's 11:20. It's 11:25. And I got up to the 109 exit and I said, "I I'm going to have to go to Publix." I got out at Publix 11:30 at night with a suit on and flat preaching shoes. Pulled my coat off, loosen my tie, and I'm running around public checking my watch like, "Oh, dear God, come on. Come back, Jesus, cuz I ain't going to make the deadline. Come on, Lord. I'm booking, booking, booking."
44:03 people looking at me like I'm slap cra I probably just got 200 steps in right there. Praise God. I ran and ran and ran and until 11:59 I ran. And I got in the car and I thought, "Woo, that's the craziest thing I've ever done, Lord." But what I'm saying is what we're trying to build in this church is commitment, not complacency. So, I ain't rubbing salt in the wounds if you already failed. Okay? Just pick up, do your own little deal, and then you can hop back in when we do round two. You just still be in round one. But
44:49 nonetheless, listen for what's coming. If you think I'm abrasive, you're a wimp. If you think my preaching's hard, you wait five more years in this country and you'll find out what hard is. >> If you knew what I knew that's happening in the Middle East right now. >> I I say things sometimes and I think people just think I'm gobbled, >> just spirit spooking. >> Listen, you ask some of the people that been with me, there's some of them meetings they can't they can't even go to. >> It's it's too fantastic stuff my wife's not even been to. Unbelievable. high, crazy, rabbitical, governmental type stuff that our church, that our ministry, that me personally
45:35 involved in right now, if you knew some of the things I knew, you wouldn't whine about 120 push-ups. You'd be doing a thousand a day because what's about to hit this nation is crazy. And then I won't look so dumb. And then I won't be so abrasive. >> And so it's 12:33. Praise Jesus. I'm just going to read something. I got to be done. God help me. Check this out. That end of verse 64. The mountains. Everybody say mountains. >> Say mountains. >> Mountains. >> That the mountains might flow down at thy presence. Now look at verse three, middle of the verse. Thou camest down. The mountains
46:22 flowed down at thy presence. Mountains in the Bible are not just moments of hierarchy, moments of as we would call mountaintop experiences. Mountains in the Bible are pictures of obstacles. They've just come out of an exile for all these years. It's an obstacle. Financially, they were ruined. Their families were devastated. Their children, many of them, had been killed, destroyed. Their heritage is being wiped away. And the prophet said, "When we get in the presence of God, like lava, the presence of God flows down the mountain, the mountains are evaporated in the presence of God." You'll notice he does not say it takes TNT. He does not say it takes this big explosion. No, no, no.
47:08 You see, we try to force stuff. But when the presence of God is a reality in your life, he just melts stuff. >> It just flows down. You ain't got to force it. You don't have to have on a Jimmy Carter smile. You don't have to fake it till you make it. You don't have to be a double-minded hypocrite. Listen, you don't have to force, force, force, force, force, force, force. No. When you and I are in the presence of God, the lava of God's presence will melt away the mountains in your life. >> It'll melt away the problems. Now, I'm going to talk for a minute, but Jay, I want you to get on them keys real quick because it's going it's going to settle my spirit a little bit. Praise be unto God. Y'all got me amped up. I need to when I come back from Israel, I need to wait a week to preach. Let somebody else preach on that Sunday.
47:53 Y'all got me tore up, but I like it. >> I like it. So, I'm I'm going to move move down here. Hey, baby. You good? You can walk with me. You want to? So, the Bible says that where there's this desperation, right, where the power of God flows, the presence of God flows, that mountains will be removed. He he doesn't say that there will be the absence or the avoidance of the mountains. He says his presence will deal with the mountains. Does that make sense? It's kind of like it's kind of like a good marriage. Marriage is not the absence of conflict. It's the ability to navigate through it lovingly.
48:40 >> So Christianity is not the absence of trials. It's the ability to have your faith grown to a place where you understand God will sustain you in the trials. Because if he doesn't deliver you from the fiery furnace, he'll hold your hand while you walk in it. Because three went in, four walked around, but only three came back out. You know why? Because one's still waiting in the fire to hold your hand when you got to go through it. Somebody give me a witness today. Mountains are reality. Oh, that thou wouldest ren the heavens. God send revival. Lord, we get desperate. Send revival. Why? That the mountains may flow down at your presence. As when the melting fire burneth, the waters boil in God's presence. And what do the mountains do? They flow down. The problems just flow.
49:26 They just break. That they're dealt with themselves. You don't have to force it because God's going to do it in his presence. This church doesn't need more power and more people. It needs more presence. And when it gets more presence, it'll have more people. It'll have more power. And it'll have less problems cuz presence burns the mountains in our life. So going into this message, I'm not at all I'm not I'm not trying to be cute. I'm just trying to preach Bible. I'm just trying to love you enough and shepherd you enough to warn you for what is and for what is to come. Listen, I I don't know. I I guess God
50:12 built me a little bit different, too. Maybe that's why our church is built different. I don't mind the hate. I'll get over it. I'll sleep just fine tonight, Isaiah. And I'll see you tomorrow. You'll work me out real good, and I'll feel better about it. But nonetheless, listen, I'll sleep fine no matter how many people leave the church. Tik Tok can hate my guts, but Tik Tok ain't got nothing on Greg Lock. I don't care. I'm going to sleep good. I'm going to love my wife. I'm going to love my kids. I'm going to pastor this church. Do y'all get tired of it? Praise God. I'm just going to keep speaking. I'm going to keep singing, keep prophesying, keep shouting, keep laying hands on the sick, keep casting out demons. I used to live discouraged all time. Well, what about so and so? What if they leave? God said, "What if they do? It's my church, not yours. Quit worrying about it. I'm not going to get distracted by that stuff. I'm just going to preach what the Bible says.
50:58 I'm just going to love people where they are." By the way, that's a good principle. Don't love people where you wish they were in 5 years. you love them right now where they are at because where you're at is not where you were when somebody first started loving you. Amen. Amen. And amen. Love people where they are, not where you wish they were. And you love them that way, by the way, and you'll be able to lead them and disciple them along where they need to be. And by the way, can I say one more thing? And then then I'm going to talk while I had him play the piano there. Okay? I'll give you our final illustration. We'll be done. I don't even know why I'm going to say this, but I'm just going to say it. It has zero to do with anything that I just said, but maybe everything to do what I just said. Okay. Uh, when it comes to desperation, when it comes to
51:44 really wanting God to do something great in your life, let me help you with something. When I just got through saying, "Look, if people leave, they leave. If people are mad, they're mad." Let let me tell you where I got to a place in my life. Now, you can't help what you see on social media. You can help what you feed on. So, I'm going to say something. I I'm going to be very calm and collective and cool and pastoral and very kind about it. You may see things that you don't like on social media. I'm for the most part I'm talking about Facebook, Facebook, but I'm going tell you something. The first time, everybody shout first. I've had to learn this. The first time
52:30 Somebody on purpose tries to take your peace on Facebook. Now, I didn't say you saw something that they posted. You didn't know. When somebody tagged you on purpose, when somebody castigates you on purpose, when somebody on purpose tries to rob you of your peace, the first time must be the last time. You must block them or you will never get desperate for God because you're always going to be in desperation of clean up mode. I don't know why I'm saying it, but I'm saying it right now. It's the I've had to listen you. If you if you try to per I ain't talking about
53:17 by accident. If you purposely try to steal my peace, >> I'll unfriend you. >> I ain't got time for it. I don't care if it's your mama, my mama, or somebody else's. >> I've lived far too long in discouragement. >> Over silly stuff >> that I didn't have to see and subject myself to. >> I used to be addicted to it. I get up every morning, what are they saying? Oh my goodness. What are they saying? What are they saying? God said, "Don't worry about it. What they're saying about you is none of your business. you let me take care of them. >> Cuz no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rise against you in judgment. God said, "I'll snatch it out." >> So why I said that, I have no idea. But
54:04 listen, just block in people. If if they've tried to steal your peace, they don't want peace with you. They want a piece of you. Stop meeting with them. Stop talking to them. Ignore them. Because if you don't, you going you going to keep that butterfly scaredness. You're going to keep that that breathiness and oh man, I can't sleep. And you're going to start second guessing yourself. Am I even right with God? Maybe they're right. Maybe. Stop that. Stop. Cut them off. >> Cut them off. >> Because what's coming next is going to require your full attention. >> No distractions. We don't have time for it. So if I do nothing for the next few years of my life in this church other
54:50 than instill a lack of distraction, I will have done my job. I want you to be so focused on the Lord that nothing else is pulling and vying for your attention. So again, that was extra parenthesis. Thank you. So I want to say this and we're going to pray. And here's how we're going to pray. We're going to we're going to take the message into an invitation. right where you're at. Although I'll give you a chance to come forward. There are mountains in this room right now. Major mountains that I don't know anything about. And if I did, couldn't do much about it. You see, a pastor is a leader, not a savior.
55:38 There's a difference. So, I want to go down just a kind of a random list just that's on my heart and on my mind. How many of you, and I don't want anybody in this room to be embarrassed, we don't have to have the rubberneck disease and look around because at the end of the day, we can all probably be honest about this. How many of you right now, we we'll start with this. How many of you today face a financial mountain in your life? Would you stand to your feet? Just stand up all over the room. You're facing a financial mountain. And by the way, I am not not personally, but I mean I'm I'm the one that has to go to bed with the understanding of the burden of the finances. We have a massive bill that's due at the end of this month. Massive. And because we're delayed on the sale of the land, we're
56:25 going to have to figure out what God wants to do. And so, listen, I go to bed with that kind of stuff, too. So, I'm I'm standing in agreement with you. So, there's people all over this room. Financial mountains. Now, you don't have to sit down if you're not a part of the other one. stay standing if if if you have a financial burden. And if you have doubles of what I'm going to talk about, you can stay standing or you can stand and raise your hands. Of everybody that's still seated, if you didn't stand on a financial mountain, how many of you, if you're going to be honest, you have a marital mountain? There's something in your marriage that you would like God to fix. Maybe it's even could perhaps even be with your kids. Now, if it's the financial part, stay standing. But if it's a marital part, I want you to stand right now and join these that are standing. All right? People still standing all over the room. If you have a jobreated
57:10 or ministry related mountain, would you stand to your feet right now? If you're not already standing, stand to your feet. If if if that's you, if that's a double, you can raise your hand. You have a job related situation that's your mountain, a ministry related, vocation related. All right. If you have a health crisis, you have a sickness, you have a disease, you have a a handicap, you something or somebody that you are just so desperate you're standing in place of in their need. I If you have a a physical mountain, would you stand to your feet right now? If you're not already standing, just stand to your feet all over the room. All over the room. All over the room. People still standing. Now, this may be a little bit more difficult, but you're in the right church here, and I'm not even going to look your way. But if you're not standing yet and you have something that
57:56 you're trying to overcome by way of addiction or some need of deliverance or some habit that you're having a hard time with, then you just stand up with the rest of the people right now. If that's your mountain, just stand up with the rest of them right now. Look at the people. Look at the people. See, here's the facts. The people that aren't standing yet, it's because they've weathered those particular mountains, perhaps. But here's what one great preacher of yester year said. You have just come over your mountain. You are at your mountain or soon you'll be facing your next mountain. It's the facts. Every one of us in this room
58:42 needs the presence of God to melt a mountain in our life. How many you have, and I know I mentioned it just briefly during the marriage part, but I wonder how many that aren't standing would stand and say, "You know what? I have a child or a grandchild. That is my mountain." They are prodical. They're away from God. Look at all the hands of people already standing. Look, people standing, new people standing. That's my mountain. The prodigal son, prodigal children, prodical grandchildren. That's my mountain. Look at all the people standing. Well, we either do believe or don't believe that the power of God
59:28 can level our mountain. So, the invitation has already started. But I wonder how many people right now would leave their seat and would come and say, "God, here's the mountain that I've stood for, raised my hand for. Now, this is the mountain that I'm going to pray against. This is the mountain that I will fast for. This is the mountain that I will get desperate and agonize for. This is my mountain. Now, some of you, I know we we'll run out of space here. Maybe you want to sit back down in your seat and just put your face in your hands and let that be your altar. Maybe you want to spin around and get on your knees at your seat and let that be your altar. But I want you to come right now. May the mountains may the mountains of life flow down at the presence of God.
1:00:13 You can't fix your mountain and I can't fix your mountain, but God can evaporate your mountain. God can do it. Just let him wash over you today with his presence. You see, it's in these moments that we either believe the Bible or we don't. I'm not asking you to believe the pastor. I'm asking, do you believe the Bible?
1:01:02 We've just recently watched God put divorced people back together in our church on more than one occasion. Bring people out of sin. Bring people out of a backsliden state. We've watched God do it. We're watching God do it. I get it. Some of you right now are just financially desperate. You're holding on. Talk to God about it. You've talked to everybody else. Just take it to the Lord. Let him take that mountain. Melt it. But you'll have to be in his presence for it to happen.
1:01:47 That confusion, that doubt. I say to doubt, get out in the name of Jesus. You're not welcome here. You're not welcome here. Spirit of doubt. May a fresh boldness come over this church. A fresh courage come over this church. A fresh and utter desperation. Oh God, we're in the heavens. We're in the heavens. Work in my kids. Work in my marriage. Work in our church. Work in our nation. Work on my job. Work on my boss. Work on my heart. Ren the heavens. Ren the heavens. Just tell them what you need. One of the most powerful prayers in the
1:02:34 entire Bible was in Mark chapter nine when that man had a son that was demonized. You know what his prayer was? Help us. It help us. Wasn't this big long huge multi-selavic King James prayer trying to impress God and everybody. He said help us. You know what Jesus did? Helped him. You need your peace back? Ask God for it. You need a joy restored, ask God for it. The higher God takes us will be determined by the lower we
1:03:20 decide to go in his presence. That's a hard lesson for a guy like me and probably for a person like you. We will never have a bigger anointing than the level of our experience that we have with the father. Our experience with him must be bigger than the anointing that we want and that we walk in and that we long for and that we display in our life through the gifts mountains be moved. Speak to the mountain. If he has the
1:04:06 faith of a grain of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Be removed and cast yonor into the sea and it shall be done." You know what he's saying? Little faith in a big God can do the supernatural. You see, it's not the size of my faith that matters. It is the object of my faith that matters. and the object of my faith is God, not man. Speak to that mountain. Some of you need to go home and speak to the mountain. Some of you need to write on a sticky note and put it on your refrigerator what your biggest mountain is. And every morning you get up and speak to the mountain. Say, "Be moved in the name of Jesus. Speak to that." Put it on your dashboard in your car. Speak to the mountain. Sticky note it to your Bible. Speak to the mountain. Put it on your desk. Speak to the mountain.
1:04:56 If you're here today and you need to follow the Lord in water baptism, Miss Billy and the crew is there and we'll we'll get you ready. You can pray as long as you want to. But if you today need to follow in believers baptism and be obedient to water baptism, submit to baptism, then you slip over to my right, your left, and in just a moment we'll see you baptized in the name of the Lord. You just begin to make your way over there. You can change before or after. We have the restrooms for you. If you need somebody to pray with you while you're down here before the Lord, slip up your hand and we will do that. But I'm just going to let the team just begin to prophesy. Just begin to sing. Just begin to worship over us today in the house. We're going to not just speak to, we're going to sing to the
1:05:41 mountains. We're going to command that in the presence of God, the mountains flow down. in his presence. So, we're going to let people keep getting the help they need, the ministry they need, the baptism time they need. We never have an official dismissal. And so, during this time, people are going to be worked with. If you have to slip out, it will not be disrespecting the house at all. We understand. Men, we will meet in the morning at 6:30 right here for men's Bible study and prayer right here in the warehouse. Oh men, in the morning at 6:30 we will be here. But you just take your time and spend time in his presence. Speak to that mountain.
1:06:26 We're just going to worship the Lord.
