00 [Music] Hundreds of people are marching against the TPLF Tea People's Liberation Fund. Welcome to my views and news. Thanks for watching the channel. Yesterday I told you about preparations for protests against the TPLF against uh a statement given by TPLF chairman and Bret Cen M. these minutes protests ongoing. Before that uh before analyzing the protests, I have an update for you. I did a video a few days ago. I told you about restrictions put in place on foreigners. Foreigners
47 uh were not being allowed to travel to Tigaray. And later I reported about similar restrictions on foreign travel to on foreign travelers too uh who want to travel a far region. Uh after my video, several sources confirmed that uh Tearai culture uh culture department uh wrote a letter to the federal government demanding clarification that why is that foreigners, foreign tourists etc. are being prevented from visiting Tagarai. Uh at uh Adi Sabhab by report Ethiopian
38 Airline, Ethiopian intelligence agency were blocking people from boarding flights for Mac Tearay's regional capital. uh several foreign tourists they had to return from Edi Sabhaba airport after they were not allowed to board uh the flights to Macall from Adis Sababa. I have an update for you. Uh a few foreigners again contacted me. They said that after NIS and Ethiopian Airlines did not allow them to travel to Tigaray, they went to NIS office, NIS
27 headquarter, Ethiopian intelligence agency headquarter and uh they asked questions. They demanded clarity that was that foreigners were being prevented from flying to Macall and N said that uh maybe there was a misunderstanding and uh airport officials miss agents at airport misunderstood some instructions and basically no restrictions are put in place on foreign on foreigners regarding travel So again they booked flights to Macall and yesterday they went to Ad Saba airport
13 uh to take a flight to Macall. They were stopped by NIS agents but uh they showed their invitation letter from Tearay. One of the foreigner showed a letter from a university in Tarrat. I was allowed to board the flight for tear. Let's see. We'll have to verify more. Some foreigners managed to reach yesterday and day before yesterday. Restrictions have been eased or there was a misunderstanding. We'll have to wait to see. Uh but I confirmed
01 some foreigners have managed to reach Tearay from Adis Sababa by air. Back to menu story now viewers. Uh protests uh being held in against the TPLF. uh last week TPL of chairman Sangri Mhar in an interview said that new government will be formed in southern tear and existing government will be dismantled. Existing government led by Haftto is uh anti-TPLF. It's backed by Gita Chedda. It criticizes DPLF. It criticizes top tier of the military for giving protection and support to TPL
50 of the Bratzian group. Against uh uh the Bratzian statement protests are being held in southern tag today. Hundreds of people are marching in Machu on Saturday. Second round of these protests will uh be held today in Machu. Hundreds of people gathered, women, children, youths, elderly, especially women to they chanted slogans against war. They criticized TPLF2 saying that they don't want war. They don't want anyone
36 to ignite a new war in Tagarai in southern Tagaray and that they back the government there. I have a few clips for you from this protest in Macho. But the protest indicates that uh uh it it's going to be difficult to dismantle the government, southern government. People seem to be backing the government. Armed fighters in a far on southern afar border backing this government. That is why TPLF could not uh prevent today's protests in Macho. Melody did not intervene as well to stop the protest where they visited Macho 3
24 to four days ago. He met with southern tear zonal government officials too and during his visit he said that the issues will be solved through dialogue through use of force. No issues can be solved and no lasting peace can be achieved where they called for dialogue called for negotiations. uh no where they visited Macho and in Macho people protesting against the DPLF let's see military did not interfere in today's protest that indicates that military is very careful regarding the handling of entity of sentiment in southern tar how big were today's protests
11 uh uh pretty impressive keeping in view that uh only match your people were expected to attend the protest. We could see bigger protests on Saturday I think. But even today's protest rallies in Matthew pretty impressive. Watch a few clips uh from match showing today's protest against TPL. Thanks for watching. blue. I am I I am blue. I
