Go to sevenbet.co.uk and experience worldclass betting for yourself. And that's normally our intro to two worldclass bers. It's Richard Man from sportinglife.com. Hello Richard.
46 >> Evening Ed. >> Good to see you. And hello once again to Paul Krishna Merty. How you doing Paul? >> Hi Ed. All good. All good. >> We've got an awesome foresome this week across the Big Bash League, the SAT20 and an ODI, India versus New Zealand. Teams, pitch reports, match winners, player win rates, trades and strategies. It's uh sixes versus stars in stars versus sixes rather than the bash. Um and also we'll look at Joeberg versus Pal in the SA 320 and that India versus New Zealand first ODI. Uh as I said um good betting week Paul up and down nothing special. Um depends
34 on the test match really in the end how that works out. Um had one big loser that's kind of ruined it a bit for me which was at the MCG 13 sixes. um bad finish uh which you know had a lot of winners there on that bet so can't really complain but uh [snorts] no disaster just about roundabout level on the week allgether >> okay we've got we've got um Hobart taking on Adelaide strikers as well in our fourth match our second in the big bash good week bad week Richard man >> yeah bash not good Adelaide looks an absolute road but problem is strikers are playing at home and they can't get it off the square so that's been bad thankfully Sydney he in the ongoing test match on him top batsman and to make 51st
20 innings. So that's that's kind of covered things but the bash has been a bit frustrating the last week or so. We're going to start on the big bash actually. We're going to look at the outright. So we're going to check in with that. These are prices from seven bet. Uh and this is the to win the title market. So we've got 2310 scorches are your favorites. uh is an injury worry about Ashton Aarel. They should get Ji Richardson back. Hobart Huracan's five-2 Bo Webster back and just a point on Hurricanes 9 to 10 to reach the final with seven bet. Uh they will get two bites at it. If they do finish in the top two, I suspect they're the best team in it. Don't forget that Scorches bowling unit conceded more 250, didn't
06 they? Failed to defend more than 250. Um I think Hobart the best team in I think that 9 to 10 to reach the final is a good price. Stars 3 to one lost their last two sixes sevens could get Steve Smith back of course post ashes strikers 14s head and Kerry potentially to come back in. Renegades 19s, Heat 25s, Thunder are out um to finish in the top four prices of note. Six is the evens. Seven bet again of course and strikers five to four. Does Smith make a big difference for them? We'll talk about sixes in depth because we've got their game to preview. Strikers five to four to make the top four. Uh Paul, thoughts on outrights? um any of those seven bet
52 specials on the uh futures markets that you spotted or anything else worth noting? >> Well, to me I think I'm I'm still interested in sixes. Um started badly then they've got Shan Abbott back. Now they've got Sam Curran coming soon to have Smith back. Could have Mitchell Stark in the if they get in the last in the last four. pure pedigree and you know they're they're on six points and they're playing stars in the next game. I mean it's close enough right the the the top four race is still close enough Hobart do look the team definitely so I would look at 7 to1 sixes to win it and I like Hobart six's final at 10 to one
39 >> is that seven bit as well Paul >> yeah seven bit >> okay 10 to one spot from Paul on the outright seven bet Richard man anything from you >> yeah I agree with you Ed Hobart look the best team to me best all round team I completely concur Look, I was with the Scorchers at the start at 5 to1 and they're 5-2 now. I think they'll finish top two. So, I'm certainly happy with that slip. Um, but I think if I could start again, I probably would lean towards Ho. But top tournament batsman market very interesting just because Sam Harper um looks to be away and gone, but I don't think he is at all. He's never been the most consistent. Made that brilliant 100 early in the tournament, but I could see someone catching him. And look if with Hobart in mind Ben McDerma 14 to1 being batting number
24 three 14 to1 with seven bet he's 50 odd away but he makes big scores Mcderma is the type who could peel off 170 somewhere that's what you need to come from behind from this sort of position so he he's dead interesting for me as are Harbert who would look the team to beat >> right well I've got a point on Matt Short top top 20 bet actually rich 12 to1 played six games got a game in hand on hard but only 63 behind and such a consistent run maker. We'll talk about him later. Uh just so reliable in terms of getting runs and maybe strikers might be bolstered to squeeze into that top four with the head Kerry uh duo coming back potentially to give them extra games as well. So I think that might be
10 a price 12 to one seven bet. Right, let's get some games on. It is stars versus sixes 8:15 Thursday from the G stars four to five un bet stars uh sorry sixes evens with seven bet and three to four stars with seven bet possible 11s for you T. Rogers, Harper, Kellaway Macdonald Maxwell Stoers Cartright, Tom Curran, Swepson, Ralph and Sidel, Joe Clark's got hip injury. So Sam Hayne has been drafted in. Um the sixes Hughes Babar Phillip Enri Silk Sam Curran could well bat at number four Curran but
55 we've got him down there at six. Edwards Davies Kurdish Abbott crazy depth. Uh they might want to get Jafar Chahan involved somehow um to boost spin bowling. Stars had a little bit of problem against Garinda Sandu last time out. Uh MCG last 10 and last 30 numbers for you. Average batting first 157161. Seven of those first those last 10 won by the side batting second um 9.7 average sixes in the last 10 and that is 8.5 in the last 30. Uh sixes have won three of the last four. Stars have lost two in a row. both defending interestingly
41 um when their four wins had come chasing. Is that a possible weakness Richard? We talked about sixes already. They should be doing better, but the depth is just absolutely bonkers here, isn't it? >> Yeah. Well, the bat deep is a really good well a really good finish to that run chase against Brisbane. He because they've got players down the order. Um but what would worry me is the top four. Enrique striking at 107 this year. Babar striking at 111. Hughes not flying. I think they're really missing James Vincent out of the top four. It's all on Josh Felipe. To me, the better players are down the order. I agree with you. At back core and far, but I don't think they will. Um, so I think the reasons to be negative about them. Sean Abbert coming back to full fitness. So that's a
27 massive boost. >> Yeah, I wonder how they get Steve Smith in this side. We might talk about Enri later as a possible entry point for Steve Smith. Um Paul, we're at the G. So we've got a talk six appeal. We have. We have. So it went down last week with 13. I just thought it was one of those things you had to write off as just a strange event. You know, some great shots to to get to get the sixes. It only won only lost right the death anyway. But the long-term stats here are unarguable. 31 matches, the last 31 Big Bash matches, 25 were 10 or fewer sixes, 23 were nine or fewer and 18 out of 31. So over half
14 were eight or fewer, right? And the line here is 11.5 and not all the further out. We might even get 12.5 like we did the other day. It's possible, but that's just a no-brainer. It's a confident confident under spec. >> Rich, let's go for a match win. And I'll put my neck on the line. I say Sixers win this in the chase. Uh that bias for the Chaser holds up over the last 30 by the way at 60%. But Richard, what do you think? >> Yeah, I'll go Stars actually. I've been quietly impressed with them this season. I'm not sure they're quite the finished article, but I think they're getting there. >> Um Paul, anything on the match odds for you? >> I think six is a good value. Six to five. You know, look, [clears throat] I I recency Bryce is a massive thing. Um,
02 start of the tournament, Stars were the outsiders of the lot. They started great. They've lost the last two. I don't Sixers on the other hand are like the ultimate pedigree team. As I say, there's good reason to think they'll improve. They are improving. They're on get results have got better. Sam Curran's back. Um, and I don't see them as six to five outsiders at all. I think that's a good value bet, especially if they're chasing. They've always been a good chasing side. >> They sure have. Any more nuggets on this game before we move to tops, Richard than then Paul? >> Yeah, Paul's mentioned this is this wordy. Paul's mentioned sixes. Now, sixes under 5.5 was up yesterday and has gone. Now, if that comes back up, I think that's a market to be interested
49 in. Sydney Sixers uh under 5.5 m sixes because even if they win, they're not a a six-hitting team. Babai and Reeks, I like to hit the ball along the ground, but I like Stars to hit the most sixes at evens regardless of the match result. Um so it's 2416 in the last five meetings between the two sides in sixes in Star Stars's favor. Um it's 24 no 2724 this season in all the games as well in the Stars favor. And that's an that's an even money shot. I just think it's a if you want to get with stars, I think this is probably the way to get with them at even money. I think they've just got more more big boy power if you like. And Maxwell's not even come to the party either. He's had a terrible time of it, but if he bats for five overs, I mean that should be job done. The other one I do want to mention, bit of a
35 quirky one. Uh this Kellaway for Melbourne Stars looks a real fine. I'm sure he'll be playing for Australia before too long, but he is a terrible runner. I've been watching a lot of the games. He just hits a good shot and he is gone. And there's been a couple of occasions where he's been a basically he's got away with it by a stride. The non- striker sent him back and he's been able to get back. He hit one at to the deep the other day and he just called two immediately straight to the man. Never two and he's turned and he's run and he's got sent back. Now I've been looking at next method of dismissal because you got to factor in both ends and it's going off sort of 16 17 18 20 to one. So, it's hard to to think we can make it pay long term, but I think if you I don't know, particularly if the
21 field's up and he's batting in the power play and you know there's a lot of fielders on the ring who could run him out for a daff single. I could definitely definitely see him getting run out in the next few weeks. >> Big playing surface at the G. Don't know does that make him less or more likely to be run out of the G? >> I've been mulling this over. Yeah. >> Can't you can't work it out. Uh maybe you'll misjudge it. Um Paul, anything before he goes to players to follow? >> Well, I'm all in on the sixes. That's the main thing. I would just add what a really good middling ground this is. 150 to 170. You said before that the average is 157. It's a chase track. I think if you can get between 150 to 170 at 3:1 and you probably will be able to pre-match or you can build that in
07 running do that. >> All right, Tops Markets players to follow. Maxwell for stars and Enriquez and Jordan Silk both in the win zone on top bat market. Maxwell 92 star sports asterisk by his name though because he is in this funk and we do know Maxwell has said consistently once he gets into one of these patches he doesn't quite know how to get out of it and it really plays on his mind. Silks 11 to1 with bet Victor Uni bet seven bet Sky bet um just a point about Hayden Kerr at 60 to1 batting down the order possible one for a promotion at some stage it just no ways he should be batting sort of eight nines uh it's just way better than that it's a proper proper allrounder Albert 7 to2 sports top six as bowler 37% win
55 rate one of the most reliable in it Richard Um, and Reek you think's gone at the game. Uh, we've had a VIP winner on him. Um, on his under under his performance quote. Um, but ones to like and ones to not like. >> Well, Albert's back, isn't he? And did I think he lost out on a tie at the weekend, didn't he? Um, he he's back and with a run under his belt, he's always the man to beat top six as bowler. Thing with Enri, I don't think he's a player he was. Um but him and Baba are interesting because they're queuing up lots of balls. Um but that doesn't mean to say they can't win the top batsman market. You know, Enri could get 40 or 40 and win the thing. People call it a bad innings, but but it's a winner in the book. So I wouldn't put you off in
41 respect to that. >> Uh Paul. >> Okay. Uh so a few here. Um absolutely. Sean Albert, we've discussed many times. He's a consistent long-term winner, especially in this competition. and 7-2 is just the wrong price. I think if you take the tie out of it, it obviously depends what firm you're betting with. Last eight uh starts in this tournament, you would have made over 100% profit, about 115% profit at these odds. Um I would look at him for man of the match as well, 14 to1 cuz he's no mug with a bat. And I would also definitely look at Sam Curr at 12 to1 man of the match. Uh and finally, well actually you mentioned Jordan Silk. I mean he hasn't done anything this season but 11 to1 is big definitely especially with the top all
29 struggling. Finally 9 to2 Sam Harper that's just wrong isn't it given the form he's in for an opener n2 about any opener is a big price and he's won it twice really this season. >> Yeah you're absolutely right silk by the way um sort of about 18% win rate last two years so 11 to1 obviously too big. Um, we're underway. Uh, let me tell you about the 0% margin feature at 7 bet sportsbook. It's designed to offer the best betting odds that do not include the typical margin added by the bookmaker. Go and check out more of the features on 7bet.co.uk features. Our best bets for these games will come at the end of the show and as we stated they are 40 points up with
14 more winners expected to come from this Ashes Test and Series. Uh, and if you want winners direct to your device, thumb up to our VIP Telegram channel in the comments section below. That is also returning very very decent profits indeed uh on 2025 and we're expecting a big year in 2026. So you won't go far wrong. Let's move on to another game in the bash. We'll go back in time so to speak to do SAT20. But Friday sees Hobart Hurricanes take on Adelaide Striker 0815. Hope at the venue. Hobart Hurricanes uh 11 to7 and 7-6 strikers with seven bet 7 to 11 rather. Hobart Hurricanes lining up something like this. T- Ward, Owen,
01 Mcderma, Chowry, Ward, Rahan going back to the middle order we think promoted last time but that was just a bit of impetus. I think that he's going to be batting three very often. Jordan Pres, Rishad Hussein, Ellis and Meredith. Uh strikers Lynn Shaw, Harvey, Sanger, Scott over to Manetti, Wadia Wood, Hassan Lee or Shamsy have been swapping in and out for each other and hope the Bell Reeve 174 your average score bowling first last 10 168 in the last 30 seven of the last 10 won by the chaser that dips to 43% the last 30 12.5 is your average last average sixes in the last 10 and then 11.4 in the last 30. Paul Hobart
50 were top when we recorded this show. We've already spoken about them actually at the top. Um they do look very strong. Strikers don't, you know, very short odds on Hobart. We don't like to really play short odds, but um is this just one of those where it's a gimme? >> No, I don't think so. I mean, I need to be very very confident to bet short odds in T20. And you know something, I mean, how many times have we discussed in all these tournaments situations like that? I would say more one-sided situations and they they end up losing. You'd be amazed. Um, so no, and I'd add to that, Hobart is a really good batting ground, right? So if Adelaide bat first, especially if Shaw and Lynn kick off at
36 the start, they could very well set a big total. So Hobart would drift a lot. And I would say 14 out of 19 games here went to the chaser. So I think you got to wait and see what happens. If they're chasing 180 plus, maybe that's a bet because they have drifted out quite a bit. >> Uh Richard, any hope for strikers? >> Well, is that up on Ed? Um number 11. Um they've been really disappointing. I mean, I've watched a lot of the cricket, particularly at home, expecting big scores and the batting is quite weak. There's no getting getting away from that in the in the middle order, especially very reliant on Overton. But the two up top are close to I mean, Lynn is is ticking. He's ready to go. I mean,
21 he hit a massive six first ball today. Looked like he was going to get a big score. Brilliantly caught. I think at some point I I Yeah, I think they'll click into gear. I do. I do think this batting lineup will click into gear, but they're up against a really strong Hobart team. I agree with Paul. Hope Hobart bat second and and are down to chase a big score and I think they could chase just about any anything and that's what your value would be. >> All right, other players for this one, Paul. >> Uh, one cracking bet for me especially if he's at number four as you've got down 15 Chowry over 15.5 runs with the flut of firms and boils. So that had won 13 out of 16 his last 16 and 16 out of 22 in this competition. It's just a must
08 bet and you get your money back if he doesn't face a ball. So no brainer. >> Yeah, perhaps they've been put away by that Rahan Ahmed um promotion. That's why they've gone cheap on him. Um Rich, >> I think both teams to score 180 at I think it's 11 to4. Um, look, this has been a good picture all season. 180 both both teams landed in the Scorches game. Scotch made a massive score that day and in the Thunder game as well. Um, so 11 to 14 just looks wrong to me regardless of the fact um that you have a few doubts about this away batting lineup, but I just think Short and L got to come good at some point. Uh, and as I said, Hobart could chase anything. All right. Uh players to follow for Hobart. M Mc
55 McDermott is due on win rate. Uh but the 21% hit rate is out of line unfortunately with 10 to three for top Hobart bat. Short for strikers 5-2 win rate of 42% last two years in the win zone potentially after two wins in the first three. Uh Hills Star Sports giving you that 5-2. Ellis rock solid 130. Skyback win rates uh top bowler for Hobart Overton tremendous for strikers on top bowler. We've been getting 11 to2 cut to 9-2 should be favorite that 9-2 Sky Bet power bet fair sports but Paul Christiany players certainly wouldn't put anyone off the matt short bet and again you mentioned Jamie Overton um again do that last two
41 seasons take the tie out of it top bowler that's 47% profit for your money even at 92 even the shorter odds and I would just say as well if he plays I'm a bit tempted by Tabra Shamzy cuz I just think he's one of those players where he's probably not truly world class but at this sort of level CPL big bash level absolute quality really really reliable bet >> Richard >> yeah Mcderma always on my radar I don't think I'd play at top batsman market just too many good players in there but Mcderma for a 57 bet have got that up as of the firms look can be looking at 9 to2 for that And then Liam, no, 7-2, sorry. And Liam Scott um has really impressed me for the
28 strikers this season. He can bowl as well, but he's batting. He looks a really gifted cricketer. Been batting sort of number four, number five. I think I'd just play overs on him on a good pitch like this. He might be looking at like 17.5 Liam Scots runs um when he comes out to b I'd been overs right. Best bets for these games come at the end of the show. India New Zealand is still to come. A reminder to sign up to seven bet. 23:14 will blow your mind what you can uncover there, trends, stats, and will really assist your betting. We're going to nip over to the SAT20. As I said, we will go back in time. It is Thursday. Joeberg Super Kings versus Pal Royals 15:30. It's from the Wanderers 4 to six. Job Super Kings 13 to 12. Pile Royals with seven bet possible 11s for you. We'll start with Joe. Vince Duples, Forester, Dillius Ranjani Moulder Akquilain one of our favorite players, Sabrien Burger and Richard Gleon, Reese Topley is in this squad but not getting in at the moment. Paul Ptorius Aca Tribe Ruben Herman Carl Varian Miller Sakanda Ryther
02 Poter Majib Makina Fortune and Bartman Lawrence and Tom Rue potentially available for Pal. Now ILt20 is done. Wanderers average scores last 10 and last 30 batting first 156 and 158. Six of the last 10 won by the side batting first but it's 50/50 split on the last 30 last 10 with your sixes the average is 13 and 12 in the last 30 Jober have won three from five so far this season pile three from four Joeberg beaten as we record by Mumbai Indians Cape Town um that's Tuesday night only three wins in this SAT20 from
51 DSG Ptoria and the affforementioned Malians Cape Town Paul bit of a surprise package. What happens in this game? >> Very much surprise package. I wasn't that keen on Joeberg ether at the start. Um I won't lie actually it's it's been a tricky tournament again not least because the conditions are so random aren't they? You know they really do switch from game to game depending on the overheads or the wind. Um, I think the bet is right here. I still don't think Paul are that good. Personally, I think that you get Ptorius early, you're going to have a chance of getting into them. Maj doesn't bow particularly well for the batting. I
38 think Makina, he's got potential. He's quick, but he's pretty expensive, too. Um so I'm pretty much against them whereas I think Joeberg are improving for sure. Um Vince in now should have should be an improvement but they're four to six so I think it's a wait and see really and really wait and see the conditions more than anything else. >> Uh Richard I'd agree with everything Paul said. Job just look stronger with a bat they did before [clears throat] the start of the season but they certainly do now that James Vince has arrived. I thought they were a little bit unlucky on Tuesday in that rain affected game uh against Mumbai Indians Cape Town. I mean before the rain delayed they were on for a big
23 score wer and then it was heavily reduced and they still did okay but I think if they had hadn't have come and they' have got 20 overs in they'd have definitely made 200 plus. That was my feeling at the time anyway. Thought they bit unlucky. Uh and I think they'll win here. Yeah, Paul, thoughts on those short and long-term numbers and runs at the Wanderers there potentially people think it's an absolute road, but uh those stats 156 and 158 average scores last 10 or 30 don't back that up. >> Well, I think though what that represents again is just the changeability of conditions. Like this tournament is a really good tournament for backing extremes. you get a lot of 200s and on this grand you've had a 243 and a 283 so real massive extremes but
11 then you get your 88 all outs like the other days and I'm I'm quite sure that in this tournament if you were just betting the extreme real extreme unders in every game every season you would have made money by now for sure because they do [clears throat] they do land now wondrous specifically I think this is a bit of an example of a ground of of of our scores have gone up in T20 cricket recent years because if you look in the long term it isn't all that. It's fairly average really but seven out of the last 17 first innings were 200 plus and you've got your um 240 and your 280. So perhaps it's a bit better for batting than it was. But as I say, you know, let's see where the odds are. Um let's see what the overheads are
57 like because it you just never know out there. uh Richard and Nugget or or don't have to say anything. We could just go straight to the players to follow. >> Yeah, we've had so much rain, haven't we? Which backs up what Paul said. A tribe. I mean, I will mention him in the tops, but I mean his runs line 17.5, 51 and 34 in the last two knocks. Look, I'm a big L Morgan fan. Uh big 100 for the England Lions just before this tournament. That that looks wrong. That 17.5 I think he can clear that more than more than he doesn't. Uh also great to see a batsman wearing spectacles as well. That doesn't happen enough for me. Let's look at the tops markets and players to follow Bartman. Such a consistent follow on two wickets or more. 365 betway offer that market. One
42 for us on VIP. He's of course with Paul. Nothing wrong following him for a top bar at 13 to five. By the way, the seven bet players are in the win zone for runs. Carl Varian uh 5 to1 with seven bet. Uh I do want to talk about James Vince who's opening the batting for Joeberg. Uh and long-term we know he's winning sort of about sort of 26 27% but big droughts in the 100 and IL20. If he's won more than once across those two tournaments, I'm be very surprised. Uh he is absolutely way overdue. 16 to five with seven bet. potentially he could have completely gone at the game. Just one spot from seven bet 14 to1 Donovan
29 Ferrer top Joeberg bowler a underrated spin bowler could pinch you a win um on a competitive market. Uh Rich coming to you. You don't have to answer the Vince question if you if you don't want to but keen for thoughts on that and anything else. Well, well, I mean, Brenda McCullum wouldn't agree, but Vincent playing county cricket anymore, is is he? So, you do wonder if he's just lost that little bit of sharpness. He might be one of these players who does need to be playing regularly. But certainly, you're right. I mean, yeah, we were with him in the 100 and it was a disaster, wasn't he? And he's been so good in that competition for the last few years. Um, a tribe 5 to1 top ball batsman. That looks a bit of an insult for an opener. I immediately looked at this action and thought really affected game. I want to
15 be with an opener. When I saw 5 to1 about a mana rate, I was all over it. But obviously the forecast clear, but I mean that could change in the next couple of days. So keep an eye on that. It's you know that could definitely be the weigh in. Shubman Ranjani though for Super Kings top super kings bat 17-2 and not everyone's priced up yet either, but 17-2 with the flutter firms at the moment. He's won it already with a 50 batting sort of five-6. um just looks a really decent player to me and and just a little bit too big. >> Paul, any players for you to follow, to get against? >> You're going to like this, Rich? I just saw they just went up like 2 minutes before we went on air. >> Bet 365 14 to1. >> It's a lunatic price, isn't it?
02 Absolutely insane. Um, so that and I agree with you about Bartman completely, Edge, rock solid. Although I think I'd rather do the two plus wickets to be honest. Uh, I think that's a really good value market actually about the best reliable bowlers. >> All righty. Uh, they're making good progress. We're on to India versus New Zealand now. That's the first ODI. It comes with Vador Sunday 0800. Quite a few firms yet to price. Flutter firms have done so. No surprise to see India six is on New Zealand 72. Let's give you some possible 11s. Um this is just one to return to once we get some more prices out. So notebooks at the ready. India lining up like this. Roit
47 Gil Kohley Rahul Ja Deja Sundar Kaldep Harshit Ashep Prid Krishna the Kiwis depleted I'm afraid. uh Conway Young Nicholls Mitchell Phillips Haye Bracewell Jameson Folks and we think they'll go with uh the right arm pacer Ray um who's had a test match experience under his belt and then one of the two spinners Ashok who's a leggy and Lennox so left armor so one of those two India won five of the last six at home in ODI New Zealand have won just three in 13 in the history uh in ODI cricket away from home. No Rin Rainda unfortunately. No Chapman um either. No Williamson of
34 course um and no Matt Henry as well. So uh Kiwi's far from the best 11. There is no international ground form to go on unfortunately. I have dug out the data for you from the six domestic 50 over matches there in 2425 under 27.5 first things runs would have won four from six uh and four of those games were won by the team batting first. Uh Rich any strength Kiwis here? No, disappointing. I was hoping they had a few of the their very good seam attack here to make it competitive, but sadly not the case. This place, it's winter over there. Um, and you get a lot of due at night. So, again, I was hoping um
21 maybe an opportunity to bat the Kiwis batting second, but they even look under strength with the bat. They're really under strength with the ball, but even with the bat, they're not as strong as they could be. Um, which is a shame because I I did France taking a chance on them batting second, but probably not now. Paul, uh, it's a mismatch. How do we play? >> You know, when I first saw those odds, I thought that's a bit of an insult to a good side, but they are massively under strength, so perhaps it is, but use your story. I mean, it doesn't bother me in the least if it's a mismatch. We still bet on the runs, we still bet on the sixes, on the player performances, all sorts of angles. >> Yeah, all s sorts of angles. We got 41% win rate batter coming up for you, by the way. Uh, nuggets, Richard, if if anything. Well, if the Kiwis are batting
07 first, looking at your stats as well, I'd be definitely looking at extreme unders if if the price is right. The other one, and this is part of that actually, Will Young's had a shocking time of it really um for the in the last year, uh top score of 11 in the three match ODI series versus West Indies, top score of 23 in the test match he played. He averaged only 18 in this format last year throughout the whole of 2025. I think that was nearly 20 games yet his run line's 22.5. I'd be an unders player all day on that. I'm afraid he look he looks way out of nick for me. >> Okay. I mean Paul, we've got so little ground data to go on which I mean do we just leave runs alone and just focus on players and stick to what we know?
54 >> No, I don't. Look, at this stage we have to we can't make a real commitment. I would just say looking at the odds that the both team seems to score 275 5-2 considering what we know about 50 over cricket in India does seem pretty big but we'll leave that for now. I think in a situation like this where we don't know much, there could be an angle, you know, watch the pitch report, listen what they got to say it, the market won't know what to do, right? It could be that it's a really low scoring ground, but they, you know, they never, the parline in these games is never that low. Like I reckon New Zealand par line is going to be above 250. So if it is a hard pitch, then it could be a massive unders. And for India, look, that's a
41 very weak New Zealand attack. Look at their last, you know, 20 odd games at home. They get 330 plus all the time, right? It's a really good, it's often a very good middling opportunity. I found that in the World Cup and since um doing something like 320 to 370, 330 to 380 on India runs if they bat first cuz they're very very hard to contain at home and that attack just doesn't look up to it. >> All righty, let's move to strong trends on the tops markets with bat and ball. If you want to find out more about these top bat win rates, top bowler win rates, get over to cricstats.ai. AR you can search every player, every team and work
27 out who's been winning on last 10, last 30. So you can build your bets that way. Promised you a 41% win rate. Guy is Roit that is two years worth of form. His 7-2 joint second favorite with those flutter firms. Curley is leading the way at 10 to3 but winning only 18.7% at the time. For the Kiwis, we're getting 10 to3 on Daryl Mitchell wins 23.5% of the time. I think we might get better than that 10 to3 though once more firms come up. So fingers crossed with that. Cal deep with the ball. There is a smidge of value for him. Top India bowler uh wins at 28.5% of the time. He can get 11 to4. Uh Richard players to follow. Oh, I'm all
14 over ML here with a with concerns about a few in terms of form and just a weakened side and he's he's one of those players who loves a not out if they're buying second. He just looks a knocking bet to me. Um yeah, I'll be with him all day long. >> Paul, I've got one really confident bet here. Uh Michael Bracewell player performance in this is his format. He's bound to play a central role in India and I would say get almost guaranteed to bat proper innings. So it's it's 36.5 the line with a flutter of firms that has won on 15 out of 25 ODIs. But more importantly in the subcontinent it's won 10 out of 12. So I think that's a very confident bet and I would just say
01 13 about KO is a fair bet. It's got to be a fair bet because he protects himself, you know, and he's been in his last few games he's playing great. Looks like he's determined to just get the average as high as possible from quitting. >> Yeah, I think he's turned out for his club actually in the last couple of weeks. Um, yeah, I know he's living in London nowadays, but he's he's definitely been playing some practice cricket ahead of this series. >> All right. Well, we've done our players to follow for India versus New Zealand. That game is on Sunday. Uh we now move on to best bets time. Both Rich and Paul have five units to spend. As we said, it's returning plus 40 points with more profits to come for 2025. Uh we're moving into 2026 numbers though now. So we're going to go first to Richard man,
46 please. >> Right, we'll kick off then 1.5 points. Melbourne starts to hit more sixes than the Sydney Sixers. evens uh 1.5 points also under 22.5 will young runs in the ODI between India and New Zealand in that same game one point Daryl Mitchell top New Zealand batsmen and then back to the big bash we'll go Hobart Hurricanes versus Adelaide strikers both teams to score 180 11 to4 that's with the flutter firms and that was for my final point all right just time to tell you to get signed up to that 7b.co.uk UK and support the cricket betting podcast. I think that is definitely worth a bash with seven bet. Uh and let's go to Paul Christian Merty his five units please. >> Okay just two bets. Um Melbourne the Sydney Sixers three points under 11.56es at 8 to 11. So with Bet Fair Py Power and I'll have um on the Indian New Zealand two points Michael Bracewell over 36.5 player performance at 5-6. >> Oh there you go. those big chunky bets
